MY SECRET SIDE I KEEP, HID UNDER LOCK AND KEY
'I KEEP IT CAGED BUT I CAN'T CONTROL IT
Thud. Thud. Thud. Tranquility had claimed control over the ghost town that remained haunted by destruction but it was the sound of eerily calm footsteps that disrupted the reign of fright. Her boots clashed against the dirty path laid ahead of her, silencing the furious grunts of the wind that rioted along with the naked branches that had abandoned it's leaves. With each step, the constant feeling of pairs of eyes piercing through her tugged at her but the woman did not care. Her face was nonchalant, if not amused.
Her long luscious scarlet hair swayed from side to side as she continued her stroll towards her destination, the guild hall for where she had disappeared for a while. It was now time to make her return. It was then that her emerald gaze finally fell upon the sinister building which had the same ghostly aura clinging around it. Mist hazed her sight but she kept walking, lifting a finger to wipe the remains of blood off her face but it wasn't just her face which was adorned by blood, but her entire body. Crimson ghastly splattered across her visible abdomen and stained her attire but she couldn't get herself to care as there lay tremendous joy within her heart from the moment she had decided to return.
A few days prior, she had awoken, barely clad and smitten with the blood of others, laying in a pool of scarlet with heinous and rather disgusting bits of flesh and intestines defeated around her. Limbs had been scattered and she had recalled nothing but the bitter-sweet taste of her meal had remained as she licked her lips. Alas, here she was, in front of the building that she had wanted to reach. Silence seemed to spread it's mighty, dancing alongside darkness as she sauntered forward and skillfully destroyed their gleeful parade. The door screeched open, as if announcing her arrival. Annora had returned to the place she bore the mark of, to the resentful guild called Savage Skull.
