Description: Kusanagi is a genetically altered human. Once upon a time he had no ability to use magic or magical qualities, he was just a normal person. After being experimented upon he became a magical weapon who can transform his body and parts of his body into weapons, he may also 'grow' swords from his body as if they are plants. Kusanagi's power is divided into 3 overall forms, his basic form, his combat form, and his weapon form.
His basic form looks just like a regular human and doesn't change at all. It is simply referred to as a 'form' in correlation to his other forms. In this form his physical ability is well below average and he has limited access to any spells he could use, and their power is typically lowered even if he can use them in this form.
His combat form is more distinctive as his teeth sharpen as do the nails on his feet, in addition his power increases noticeably. His forearms noticeably change as they turn into single edged guillotine blades. The blades are longer than his forearms originally were and have guard like appendages that form around the elbow. The blades are long enough to reach the ground when his arms are fully rested down, making them a good 60-70% of his body height, or about 40 inches long. Most of his spells are designed around this form.
His final form is his weapon form which turns his entire body into a long guillotine sword of the same appearance as the blades in his combat form. In this form he can not move on his own, and needs someone to wield him. In return however he gets access to his most powerful spells, and his other spells are significantly buffed in power. A few spells however can not be used in this form.
Strengths:
-Offensive power: Kusanagi's power is directly offensive and when it comes to how he can attack people, it can become very versatile.
-simple: complex does not mean better. A complicated design is a sign of a bad engineer. Whoever engineered Kusanagi was pretty dang good. It's straight forward and effective and easy to use.
-Versatile: There's a lot you can do with swords and magic and most of it can be used in multiple ways.
Weaknesses:
-Defensive power: At the end of the day, all of Kusanagi's defensive powers tend to result in an offensive attack being used to defend himself as his power is primarily an offensive weapon with little defensive capabilities.
-Immobility: Kusanagi's most powerful spells are when he turns his entire body into a weapon. If he does this his power is greatly amplified but he's unable to move on his own and needs somebody to wield him.
-Basic form: Kusanagi's basic appearance/form aka, when he's a normal person, is fairly weak or below average physically speaking. While it spikes in his combat form or one of his blade forms, he can't throw a punch worth remembering while he's not in a blade form.
-Investment: Kusanagi needs to invest a fairly large amount of magical power to shift into his combat and weapon forms. While he can stay in those forms indefinitely the initial shift usually requires a large enough amount of energy that he'd rather not have to use it in the first place, especially his weapon form. And if he does have to use it, he normally avoids using any spells because he'd wear out to quickly.

Unique Abilities:
Battle form: Kusanagi’s basic method of combat is his battle form and most of his spells require it to be active. Kusanagi’s battle form is fairly simple and straight forward. His teeth become razor sharp and the nails on his feet do the same. His forearms are the only thing that warps much and turn into single edged guillotine blades. The blades are longer than his forearms originally were and have guard like appendages that form around the elbow. The blades are long enough to reach the ground when his arms are fully rested down, making them a good 60-70% of his body height, or about 40 inches long. Kusanagi can shift between this form and his others at will. There is however an initial investment of magical power to get into his battle form depending on rank.
Finally, his physical capabilities rise to slightly above average compared to slightly below average in this form, making him physically stronger and of normal speed.
If he runs out of magical power, he will revert back to his basic form.
Weapon form: which turns his entire body into a long guillotine sword of the same appearance as the blades in his combat form only bigger. In this form he can not move on his own, and needs someone to wield him. In return however he gets access to his most powerful spells, and some of his other spells are buffed in power by one rank(must be specified in the spell). The blade has a handle that is 1.5 feet long with a blade that easily reached 6 feet in length, making it a massive weapon to use and not for the physically weak. This form requires a much higher investment in magical power than his combat form so he doesn't use it often and is also determined by rank.
If he runs out of magical power entirely, he will revert back to normal.
