    The Seawolves
    Hayaii and the Leviathan CrCDWZ7

The open sea, treasure galore, and as much as you can drink. This was the motto of the small guild known as the Seawolves. They were a happy if small lot, and their guildhouse was always alive with the sound of brawling, drinking, and merriment. An onlooker would call them pirates, but those who knew the men inside would know they were Mages with nothing more than a love of excitement and danger. Their Leader, Reindhert, used his own ship as the Guildhouse, docking it and letting it serve as their base of operations and planning for quite some time. His two loyals, Sebastion and Hayaii Keihart, were former sailors with him. Sebastion, the hefty cook with a laugh that could shake mountains. Keihart, the lookout and a mage with near perfect sharpshooting spells.

Despite this, they had two rules. Never take a job that would risk the life of their members, and never allow a child to travel on a mission. This rule was instated due to Keihart's son, Sune, always trying to sneak off with them on dangerous missions. After the fourth time, they established this rule and banned Sune from attending any of their missions until he was an adult. This wouldn't last long, sadly...

A job came one day, and it was urgent. Very few guilds could accept it as it involved travelling to the center of the ocean, and most guilds had no boat nor access to a sailor willing to risk their life for this mission. The Seawolves took the mission, and took a week to tear down their boat's docking to be able to sail, arming canons forgotten of age and repairing sails long left damages by the wind.

The ship took to the ocean, but they didn't know one thing. Sune had managed to sneak onboard before they left. As they found their destination, none on the ship was prepared for what came next. A serpent rose from the sea, and with a single breath summoned tornadoes and tidal waves. Their boat was rocked, but not torn, as their mages protected the ship as best they could. The large serpent seemed to dart through the water like it was air, it's massive hide crashing into the boat and knocking it around like paper.

Sune ran upstairs from his hiding spot, unsure what was going on or why. But when he did he saw the most frightening thing of all. The giant serpent inhaled, gathering all of the storms around him into one massive ball, and this is when Keihart saw his son on the ship. He ran over, and buried his son with his body as a massive torrent of wind hit the ship. It twisted, tore, and destroyed the ship and the mages aboard like it was nothing. Ripping it to shreds with very little surviving the attack.

Sune was all that was left on a plank of wood, the rest of the ship had been destroyed or blown across the ocean. The boy lived through the sacrifice of his father, weakly standing as the serpent drew closer. It stared down into his eyes, moving closer until all the boy could see was the serpent's large eye. "Stare at me child, and know my might. Know what I am. I am the storm that tears the ocean in two, the vessel that carries death on it's spine, and the devourer of the Tides and the Sea. Gaze upon me, human."

The child did, and looked at him with no emotion. Gazing into the creature's eye as he stood weakly, "No... You are a monster..." The serpent raised, screeching loudly with a howl of anger that could pierce the heavens, before lowering his head back down to the child... However, the boy still seemed unmoved. His father was dead, his friends all gone. His life torn apart. Death was nothing to him, compared to his hatred for the beast. The creature stared still, before moving closer... Telling the child his tale, as the boy was held captive.

There was a dragon once, Livyatan. He believed Dragons were all strong, and mighty, and should rule over humanity. But as he saw some brethren accept the humans and teach them, to watch as his comrades began to see humans as equals, he grew even angrier with his kindred. As a show of force, and to garner respect out of fear Livyatan attacked a fellow dragon and their chosen studen. Murdering them both and delivering the bodies to show off to others, declaring that Dragons that side with humans are weak.

He was attacked en masse, and cast away. Damning all of his brethren, he severed his wings and fell into the sea. Becoming a new being of his own, casting away his name to be called anew. Leviathan. He fell to the ocean floor, and slept, as his magic began to heal and change his body to match his new home. When he awoke, he rose from the sea and devoured all ships, all man, all dragon, he could before sleeping again. Every so often repeating this trend, waking to devour and destroy then sleep again.

But now humans had began to take the fight to him, and he is no longer as strong as he once was. He stared down at the child he had captive, and knew what he had to do. He would die, but the boy may live. He pressed the tip of his tail to the head of the child, and imbued him with the strength that he had. Letting the powers lie dormant within Sune, before casting him off at sea to return home.

What the Leviathan did not know was that the boy was not trained. When he arrived at sea, chaos ensued. His form shifting and molding into a mockery of man and Dragon, storms being tossed about, wind and water destroying all around him. When the boy could stand and see what he did, he knew he could never trust himself now. He was made a convoy of the Leviathan's power, a symbol of it's might to walk among humans. He was now an Avatar of destruction...

RP Sample: There was a loud yawn from the Storm mage as he wandered with a very lack of urgency towards the room he had purchased. There were only two things he wanted right now, a massive stack of pancakes piled as high as the eye could see, and a super comfy bed he could just pass out in and forget that anything else existed but whatever was in his messed up dreams. Practically kicking open the door and moving toward the bed. His bag would hit the floor with a small thump, before he'd fall face first into the sheets and immediatly pass out. Normally, he was a very loud snorer, but he didn't even feel the energy for that today. A long, very pointless, job hunt leading to a lack of dinner and what spare gems he had being spent on the room instead. Atleast it was a one bedroom, he didn't want to share with a noisy stranger... Not after that time in Hargeon... Never again.

    Hayaii and the Leviathan V1ZwOdR

The town took the boy in, and tried to nurse him back to health. Some time at sea had drained him of his energy and ability to stand on his own. However in his person he could still feel the powers given to him tearing and gripping at his very being. He hadn't just taken Leviathan's powers, but taken his entire being into his person. The more they nursed him back to health, the more he seemed to struggle with the inner pain he felt. It was then the town began to realize the boy showed a deal of magically capability despite his age. But it was far beyond practiced. As time went on they began to see his power form more and more, causing damage wherever he went.

This was when other children began to see the parents of their town avoiding or acting odd around him. Of course, children read off of the actions of their parents, and they began to bully Sune. It began as simple names, but slowly began to evolve into physical assault. Sune's already damaged psyche was slowly breaking underneath all of it, until someone decided to clock him in the face with a rock. There was no pause in that moment, Sune staring at him with empty eyes before what felt like three storms hit the town at once.

The leviathan's gift was to display his power before it would rest within the boy. Sune could feel and see all he did, as he tore apart both people and buildings alike as a massive display of his might. The boy being forced to watch as his guardian inspired fear and chaos on a village that only did that they felt was right for the safet of their people. When Sune was able to stand and walk on his own, he fled from the village, the memory of dozens of people hurt or murdered now stuck in his poor young brain...

Sune spent a great deal of his life at this point working as a fisherman. Finding places to work that had not yet heard of him, and eventually establishing himself as part of a fleet of ships under one man, Mercer. Mercer was a very unlikable man who tried to control everyone, and always through force and threats. If you were in his way, you were seen as scum and a victim. Often resulting in a death if not great harm coming to the parties involved. Sune was no different, often kicked around or shoved into the water.

Eventually Mercer began to believe that half of their hired help was pointless. Seeing the various fishermen, and other naval persons who didn't help the fleet as just dead weight. He offered up a test, which was essentially that if you wanted to keep your job you had to prove you were as bloodthirsty as his crew. He forced the many laborers to fight each other, to the death.

Sune watched as the people he worked with either ran just to be shot down by Mercer's Plant and Thorn themed magic, or turned on their own friends to save their life. Sune couldn't stand it, downing one of the Pirates and taking their sword, challenging mercer infront of everyone. There was laugher and taunting, but Mercer assaulted Sune with a vengence. Steel, thorn, wind and storm were heard and seen dancing across the deck. Two mages fighting in force for the sake of the many. Mercer had the skill, easily beating Sune around the deck as if he was just a pest.

Mercer thought he had Sune, knocking the blade from his hand and kicking him to the floor. Sword to the boy's throat, as he waited for the plea of mercy. Sune did not plead. All saw as a massive ball of air formed in the boy's mouth, and watched as a whirling vortex not only cut through their captain, but watched as his lifeless body slammed down onto the deck with no pulse, nor breath, to signify his life...

    Hayaii and the Leviathan LZjtGy6

To many, pirates do not seem to hold tradition. They seem to care about coin and about glory. One thing that they care about, is the tradition of leader. If you beat the current captain, you became captain... But if you beat the Pirate King, you were the pirate king. What no one knew is that Mercer was the Pirate King, until it was revealed he wore the mark across his back. The famed symbol of the king, a crown with an anchor through it.

Sune was pinned down beside Mercer, and forced to endure the pain as the tattoo was embedded to him, signifying his role and purpose as the new king. Though he immediately found a way out of directly ruling. He let each captain run their ships as they saw fit, and he ran things from the side. Handling all of the discussions and decisions, helping set up trade between each other.

To the naked eye, it would appear to many that he had a good life. Power and fortune without trying at all for it. But he hated it... Nothing in his life had been earned as of this day. It had all been handed to him. He informed his men to all continue working as they have been, and he would check in only every few months to make sure everything was afloat. It was odd, for a captain of Pirates to give up the easy life... But he had his ways, and he had his goals...
