[Solo | Job] Escaped Convict

Ivana held a flimsy, white piece of paper, the escaped convict's portrait sketched onto it. His shortly cut hair was riddled with curls and while he had no facial hair, his eyebrows were as thick as the bolded letters written on the job request flier she had snatched up from her guild's board. "Hmm, he doesn't seem like he could escape from the prison... I thought it was much more secure," she spoke aloud as she strolled into the town of Era. Flipping over the paper she had been given revealed the location of his family's house as well as other places of interest of the convict, which could make him easier to find. "His home? Maybe... we'll start there," she planned out her first move before continuing on, in the direction of his home. "It scares me to think what he could be doing there, was he a murderer? Could he be murdering his child and wife?" Ivana questioned aloud as she tracked down the escapee's house with a suddenly new quickness to her step.

The blue paint was in the process of separating itself into chips, to then fall onto the flat, dead grass that was free of typical beauty but Ivana found the general appearance of the weed-filled garden to be aesthetically pleasing in its own, strange way. There were few windows around the home, and the ones that weren't blocked out with torn curtains or boarded up with wooden planks were cracked and dirty. Before knocking on the door to the home, Ivana had began to step around the left side of the house, approaching the unguarded backyard with slight caution. Her boots caused the brown blades of grass to crunch as she sneaked around to the back side of the house, to reveal a hunched over figure. The figure was of an average stature but had slightly browned cheeks and a striped, black and white jumpsuit, that stood out to Ivana within a second of discovering the supposed escaped convict. "Now... what do you think you're doing?" she asked as she approached, no longer creeping toward him with the stealthiness of a fox.

It was definitely the escaped convict, his curls wiggled as his head whipped around to face Ivana, releasing a blundering blabber out of surprise when Ivana had spoken. "You can't get out of this one, bud, just come with me and I'm sure they won't do anything too harsh." she attempted to reassure the fearful man into giving in to come with her. "I won't hurt you, don't worry... unless you run but you won't do that! Will you?" she spoke with a condescending tone to him before taking a step closer with a pair of magically binding handcuffs in her hands. 

"P-please... just let me watch my child... I just got here and I just want... a few minutes more... it's been two years without her." he pleaded, his voice was evidence to how much he wanted to stay a bit longer. 

"Alright... only three minutes and then you'll return with me, in these," she held up the lacrima-powered cuffs. Her demeanor was authoritive and forceful, causing him to respond with a slow nod of agreement.

Peering through the dirt-encrusted window from behind the hunched over criminal was a boring experience. She had just been watching a display of his little girl being spoon fed mushy, crushed up fruits by the (obviously) exhausted mother, who sported a head full of dark-brown, straightened locks with a food-stained crimson red dress. The child periodically let out a happy gurgle or angered scream in reaction to different foods that composed one of her daily meals, despite these actions being so minuscule, they all made the convict smack his hands together jovially. 

Ivana had been counting seconds in her head since the very second she allowed him three more minutes, it had been two minutes and fifty seconds when Ivana had let out another grumble as the convict begged, [color:84dc=660000]"Isn't she adorable?" Fifty-five, fifty-six, fifty-seven, fifty-eight, fifty-nine... aaand, sixty. 

"It's time for you to go," Ivana lumbered up to him from behind, forcefully pulling his left wrist behind his back to lock it into place in between the magical bindings. Then, the right was bound as well. "Sorry but be glad I allowed you to stay any longer, if I hadn't had to bring you back alive, you probably would be a crisp," she revealed her past intentions to him as she shoved him along in front of her.

"I know..." he whimpered pathetically, not showing any sign of resistance as he trudged back toward the towering, stone confines of Era's prison. Ivana had entered the prison building with him, her eyes set onto the sack of Jewel that was labelled "Reward". She had then turned him in and scooped up the reward with a flashy grin before she skipped off, toward the exit gates of Era.
