Size Matters (Job/Kayla/Nothel/Suzuran)

Blackness. That is all Nothel saw. What is going on? Groaning lightly he would force his eyes open. Oh, he went to sleep on the grass, great. What was he doing before this… It took him a second to remember. Oh yeah, he was going on a job, and he drug Kayla and Suzuran with him…Why did he go that? Arrogant mean Kayla and emotionless Suzuran. This was going to be a fun job. What was the job again…

Bah! Shaking his head furiously he looks around. Okay, no more whats. He remembers now. A lady lost her ring in her huge garden. Being unable to find it due to the thick brush she shrank them down, so they could find it easier. What the person forgot to mention was how shrunk they were going to be. The grass was taller than them. The flowers were skyscrapers compared to them. This posed some issues. Anything alive, an ant, cricket, or even a fly could kill them. This was quite an issue. Groaning again, he sits up; looking over to the figures he would presume to be Kayla and Suzuran. Huh..I wonder how they are getting along. Standing up he looks around himself, seeing he still has all his clothes and weapons. Yep…alright..

Suzuran had been continuously staring at Nothel as he slept. Wasting time. The old woman could cast the spell over again though. So it really didn’t matter. So Suzuran waited. And stared. And stared. And stared. Until he woke up. As he got up she continued to stare, completely not realizing that there might be something weird about her just staring at him like this.

Suzuran had been doing a lot of reading as of late about human interaction, but there was a lot that she was still missing out on. Humans were hard to read, as one move of the eyebrow could mean multiple things. Even how their toes were pointing was important. But only sometimes. It only occurred to her now that she could have started looking without him, or just with Kayla. But she hadn't wanted to put her life at risk. Her life was the most important to her. If push came to shove she would simply run away. She was not going to risk her life for anyone. However she might be less likely or run if she saw that running away would put her in more danger. In this case running away would be a bad idea, that much Suzuran could tell. They were stuck tiny most likely until the spell wore off.

It was early in the morning when Kayla had woke up, sighing she had rubbed her eyes wondering why she woke up so early in the first place then it had hit her. The job that Nothel had dragged her too she didn't want to do it, she hated doing morning jobs but Nothel practically had begged her. What was worse was that she was going with some other chick she didn't even know. This was going to a 'fun' mission.

When they arrived she had shrunk them down to a small size, although Kayla wasn't really willing to do so at first she had to give in when the lady said it was the only way to complete the job. Staying silent for a moment she had glanced around everything was completely bigger then her. Even small bugs which was terrifying to Kayla glancing at Nothel and Suz she huffed. "Let's just get this over with I'm not dying to some giant fucking bug." Kayla said lightning flickering over her fingers as she glanced around. "Im heading this way." The brunette said pointing at the direction with her finger before walking off, not caring if one of them decided to follow her or not.

Nothel groans. This wasn't going to go well. Kayla was already being an asshole. Suzuran was well, being her normal emotionless self. He shakes his head looking around the area. Great. Kayla was walking off and probably get fucking killed. Sighing lightly he starts to prepare himself before going to after her. Standing he dusts himself off, looking around the area. "You know, I hate the color green now." He groans, strecthes, then starts to walk off with Kayla, "Come on Suzuran we got....stuff to do I guess." He then waits for Suzuran to start coming before walking on. She was probably one of the only people that Nothel would care about if they got hurt or killed. This was mainly due to well. For some reason she had less emotions than him. And they made a great team. She was the only person he would go out of his way to save if necessary. Which was slightly confusing to him...but oh well. Grinning he gestures for Suzuran to follow him towards Kayla. "I think we are going to have to fight giant bugs or something. I'm NOT particularly happy about that." Sighing, he starts to walk towards Kayla, drawing his sword.
