Festive Greetings [Daiki] Empty Festive Greetings [Daiki]

Post by Sora 26th September 2015, 6:48 am

Upon stepping into the town of Magnolia, all Shu found was waves of happiness and festivities. Unlike the quiet environments she kept herself in, Magnolia Town was bustling vibrantly. There were smiles, laughter, a friendly air, and even a sense of peace. One could relax here and enjoy the company of another person, or enjoy whatever sights and games the town carried within. It was something that refreshed the mind almost, and the guildless mage was almost lost within the string of people happily walking along the streets. The many sights offered a much needed change of pace from the more sadder atmosphere that sometimes greeted Solemn Park - the place she considered home - but something had been pricking at her mind the moment she stepped foot into the area.

Ignoring the welcoming warmth of the sun's rays, the young woman rubbed a hand on the back of her head in thought while her tired eyes closed promptly - sitting on a bench aligned along the street. The feeling that was ever-so-gently providing a near tingling sensation of familiarity was almost too much to ignore. She could barely enjoy herself without going straight back to the feeling, and she caught notice of it growing stronger in certain areas of the town but weaker in others. It was then in her thought process that she sighed out with a tilt of her head, a hand grasping the hem of her red hat, and covering her face. Her voice was muffled yet carried a hint of exhaustion to it.

"Getting over my amnesia is harder than I thought. . ."

If Shu was lucky enough, she would end up in an area of Fiore that she found familiar during her days. She was grateful for her decisions to end up in said area, but frustrated that the fragments of memories she would receive at the end of the day wouldn't make complete sense. In some times they offered a hint of happiness; in others, sadness. Whatever her life was like before a certain point must have been an equal measure of having its ups and downs.

Little had she known that on this particular day something would most definitely change. Whether it was another unwelcoming headache that soon provided another strange memory, or an individual that crossed paths with her, she wouldn't know. Tired eyes kept closed behind the fabric of her trademark hat as she was bent over, elbows on her knees while her hands kept against the hat covering the majority of her face.

Ai walked through the streets of Magnolia, dressed in clothes she had recently bought. She was wearing an emerald green dress with gold markings. Big/loose light green and white gloves and along the top part of her skirt is a big peach/orange bow. Around her neck she wears a big piece of white collar with green lining around the bottom and a very thin white cloth connecting the dress and neck piece together. At the center is a gold circular piece with a small blue gem in the center and tiny red ribbon with gold in the center. As for her hair, long curled light blond hair with long bangs neatly framing her face. Her red eyes, seemingly sad and not fully open. She would scan the area in front of her as she walked through the street. This brought back somewhat fond memories. Memories of a time when she didn't dispise the person she had once considered her best friend after they had faked their death. Just thinking about it wished she could have done something about it before it had happened, and that she hadn't gone off for a while, leaving her best friend alone as well.

She would sigh, as she continued to walk down the street, noticing that there was someone sitting on a bench that was coming up. Though as the bench was, more or less, right next to her an man would brush into her, seemingly trying to prevent from walking directly into her. She would have stopped right after it, and blinked before her brain had processed that the man had groped her chest, before she would exhale slowly, seemingly exhaling some unholy light as if she was exhaling on a cold day. She would stand still and every time she would exhale, this would heppen for a few moments before looking behind her and half turning around.

Festive Greetings [Daiki] Empty Re: Festive Greetings [Daiki]

Another groan passed by hidden lips behind red fabric, the entire sound muffled. A headache was slowly inching its way into the depths of her being, lingering annoyingly within her. Despite the positive indication that a familiarity was nearby, the pain was negatively troublesome. However, she kept such complaints within before a tingling sensation was tickling the senses. With a hum and the raise of both her brows, Shu pulled her red hat away from her face to turn her head in the direction such a magical sensation was emitting from. Whatever force was making itself known was incredibly nearby - intentional or not. The source almost felt warm and soft yet powerful; soft vibrations in a rhythm yet a beat trying to keep a steady pattern.

Violet orbs slowly shifted and started a careful surveillance of the quaint area in search of the source, eventually landing on a figure that was elegantly dressed to a degree of beauty. It was needless to express that the figure stuck out immediately from the handful of people littering the sidewalks at this time of the day by the elegant formal wear, but from what the young woman could gather, the figure was most certainly the source. "Something may be wrong. . . I should check on her.", Shu muttered in concern before carefully placing her trademark hat atop her head neatly, strands of her black hair messily sticking out as always. Gently tracing her fingers over her other articles of clothing to help give off a neat appearance, the black haired guildless mage eventually stood to her feet.

With a sigh, she proceeded in making a swift attempt to ignore the headache still tingling the mind, sliding her hands inside her pockets with a casual demeanor now taking place. "Alright then. Here we go." And with that she began walking with ease and a purpose all the while, just following the trail of vibrations the strangers magic was leaving behind with each breath they took. It was only a matter of time before the pattern ended although for it to start the way it had, something must have happened. Something may have went wrong, and Shu just couldn't ignore that - even when she had her own problems. With a sincere smile and a soft tone to not startle the stranger, the mage stopped a reasonable distance from the woman before her with careful consideration.

"Excuse me, miss? I couldn't help but notice that something was wrong judging by how you were just standing here. If I may ask, did something happen to you here?"
