Lexa Grimoire Secondary Training [Private]

After a series of stretches, accompanied by several tired groans Lexa unwillingly sat upright in her bed, opening her eyes to see the room filled with the pink light being filtered through her curtains. She rubbed her eyes to get the sleep from them before jumping off the bed, turning to her curtains and flinging them open. The blast of sunlight felt refreshing to the young looking mage, making her feel alive again after her night's rest. Taranis walked through the large, mahogany door of the Inn's room with a letter in tow for Lexa, a rare occasion. "What's this?" she said with her standard high pitched, child like voice. Taranis stretched out his hand, holding a letter in it from some guy in Ca-Elum. "I don't have any friends that far out... maybe it's the wrong person?" She said out loud in a soft voice, questioning why she would get a letter from there. The letter was officially marked 'Dear Ms. Grimoire' signaling that Lexa was indeed the intended recipient of the letter. She continued reading, mumbling the words as she sped through the impressively long letter. The gist of the letter was that some guru caught wind of Lexa's existence, that she was able to control heaven's powers and wanted to teach her how to control the power hidden deep within the land itself. "Taranis, some random guy I never heard of before claims he can teach me stuff I never new. He wants me to come alone, and unarmed..." Lexa said to her best friend, and life long companion. "Lexa choice." Taranis replied. "I've got my magic, so I can take him." Lexa said with a confident expression. She began removing her tank top, and the rest of the clothes she slept in, passing each piece to Taranis who gently folded them and waited for the last piece. While Taranis put the dirty laundry in the hamper, Lexa went to shower up.

A long refreshing bath later, Lexa emerged from the steaming wash room with a towel around her chest, draped to cover down to mid thigh, and another towel wrapped around her head. Taranis had already laid her clothes out on the bed and left the room to go pick up some items from town, as well as perform a series of tasks that she'd asked him to do the day before. Upon dawning her fresh set of clothes, Lexa let out a deep breath and activated her magic circuits, converting her entire body into pure light and allowing her to reach Ca-Elum in a matter of seconds.

Lexa had appeared in the middle of a rather small town on the island, it was filled with people slamming hammers against large, heavy looking, black anvils at forges. The island was renown for being the place to go if you were looking to get a new weapon. She looked around, trying to find someone who might be a bit more knowledgeable about the island and its inhabitants, specifically any 'guru' that may be lurking about. The first person she spotted was a middle aged woman, possibly 45 but not much older than that. The woman told Lexa that she'd only moved to the island a few months ago, having done it so she could be closer to the man she loved. This led to a lengthy conversation about how he didn't show any interest in her, and Lexa letting her know if she wants to ask him out she needs to get it over with before some other girl does. After that, she asked a woman who was assisting a massive man with a painfully wide, muscular chest as he was hammering away at some iron. She told Lexa that there was in fact a guru of sorts on the island, but she never cared to find out where he was. She told her that one of the children had spoke of him as well, saying that she would go to play with the animals he attracted.

The old woman pointed to a small girl who was running down the street. "That's her, good luck catching up to her though." the old lady said, moving her finger to follow the young girl. Lexa began dashing after the small girl, keeping her eyes locked on to that one target so as to not lose sight of her. However, the small child vanished in a small crowd, leaving Lexa dumbfounded as to how she managed it. However, the black rose guild mage was determined to get to her target, and activated her magic circuits on her back, sprouting a pair of large, white, feathery wings with blue circuit board markings. With those, Lexa took flight and began circling the air above the town before spotting something moving towards the treeline. Focusing in on the moving object, Lexa saw it was the small child she was chasing before likely going to meet up with the guru guy. Lexa dived into the bushes, dismissing her wings the exact moment she landed on a tree branch, and began watching the smaller girl's movements.

Lexa followed the girl for several hours, trying to keep above her so she wouldn't lose track of the tiny dot on the forest floor. The girl was extremely small, about three feet tall give or take a few inches, but wore a white dress that made her easy to see when contrasted with the dark green floor. However, she moved quite fast for someone so young, and was excessively agile as well. If not for her training, Lexa would find herself completely unable to keep up with her as she was struggling to barely do so now. At long last, a large circle in the ground made of pure marble was seen. It had a set of strange patterns on it, eight circles arranged equidistant from each other with a different symbol on each. On one of the circles was a single man with no shirt, facing the sun while sitting cross-legged. Definitely looked like a guru, being in a remote location that was a bitch to find and meditating.
