    Ayeseru sighed.  He was still trying to figure out how to tighten his tie fully, but ended up giving up and left it hanging just below where his shirt was open.  He wouldn't normally even dress up with a fancy smanshy suit, however, this was a different occasion.  He was getting ready for the Sabertooth Ball, which, he was talked into going to by some of his guild mates, causing him to sigh once more, in annoyance this time.  He didn't particularly feel like he was in a hurry, so, he left the guild hall and went onto the streets of Clover Town.

    The enormous magical energy that was frequently in Clover Town whenever Ayeseru visited it was there, and most of the guild had already left for the ball, which meant that there was only one person it could be.  With his hands in his pockets and whistling lightly, he began following where the magical energy was coming from.  The Fallen God Slayer always attracted some looks whenever he was in Clover Town, but got even more this time because he actually bothered to look good.

    It was a nice, short pleasant walk; he reached a cafe very quickly.  He entered and looked around, quickly spotting the reason he was here - Natalia.  Pure white hair and fair skin; he would always notice it.  It was a very short walk to where she was seated and took a seat right in front of her, resting his arms on the table and leaning slightly forward.  "Are you not going to the ball?", he asked with a small half grin on his face, "Or were you not aware that there was one?"

    Natalia sat at her usual spot at the cafe with a cupcake sitting on the plate in front of her, she was more gloomy than usual today. The source of her mood came from an invitation to a ball hosted by Sabertooth however this came with quite the implication, Natalia was incapable of traveling through desert for long periods of time. Her inability to withstand the heat and her knowledge of Sabertooths location left her alone at the guild, she hadn't even bothered putting on a dress to go. Her state was barely cheered up as she detected a familiar presence from someone she met some time ago. She looked up as Ayeseru sat down in front of her and didn't even crack a smile as he asked why she didn't go to the ball. "I..." She choked on her own words as she turned away to be gloomy. "I can't go." She said in the saddest tone one could possibly hear out of her as she made the truth painfully obvious. "I can't travel through hot regions, the temperature has ill effects on me." She explained barely attempting to cheer herself up. "So I'm left here all alone."

    Ayeseru's small grin insantly vanished when he heard the painfully obvious upset tone of Natalia's regarding why she wasn't on her way to the ball.  He scratched the side of his head, and sighed deeply.  Perhaps...  This was the reason...  Ayeseru looked at his hands and then up to Natalia.  "We're going to the ball," Ayeseru said with a serious voice.  "Together."  He wasn't sure whether or not to be too happy about going to the ball still, however, the sound of her voice in such sadness really affected Ayeseru.

    "Before you continue telling me about your condition," he continued, "I'll be able to reach Sabertooth in about a minute.  You can stand being in hotter temperatures for a minute, right?", he asked.  "Don't worry about the temperature in Sabertooth.  It's a guild in the sky, which means the altitude is very high, which also means that it's fairly cool there."  Ayeseru got up, and extended his hand for Natalia to take it.  "I know you want to go, so, what do you say?"  She probably wanted to take a dress, too, so he'd offer to pay for any one she wanted, if that was the case.

    Maybe this is why his guild mates tried so hard to convince him to go.

    "Guild... the the sky?" Natalia asked as she immediately started to worry, she didn't know it was a flying guild. This would do harsh things to her acrophobia and there was little consolation. "Uh... I will go get my dress on." She said as she started to stand up with nervous wobbly legs with the intent on walking home, she had a dress she had saved for special occasions but she rarely if ever got to go to anything the warranted such a dress. As she stumbled she found herself tripping on a stone and falling face first towards the ground.

    "Fantastic!  I'll make sure to meet you at the guild.", he said.  As they both got up and left the cafe, Ayeseru went to the guild...  Or so was the plan.  Before he turned away from Natalia, he saw her stumbling forward, about to fall on the ground.  Using incredibly fast movement and reactions, he was able to rush to her side and catch her by the waist to make sure she didn't fall.  "...You really outta be more careful," Ayeseru mumbled as he still held her, unaware of the fact.  "Do you think that you'll be alright going home?", he asked.

    And it was at that moment that he realized exactly what he was doing.  A sudden panic, and he made sure she could stand and let go instantly.  "...Apologies."  He sighed deeply, but this time, to himself.  He always knew that he wasn't the...  Best when it came to women, but to be this bad?  He couldn't help but sigh again, before snapping back to the real world and realizing that he probably stood there sighing for a full ten to twenty seconds.


    He had to do something


    It was at that moment that he grabbed her hand, and started walking...  Somewhere.  "Tell me where to go.", he said sternly.  To most, the encounter would probably be extremely strange and uncomfortable...  He hoped that Natalia wasn't amongst "the most".

    Else, there'd be a very curious set of events.
