Beanstalk Village - a completely foreign location for Tane. She had arrived at the settlement after about an hour, taking a cheap caravan ride. It was full of vegetation, the village almost looked like a verdant rainforest. Tane beamed at the sight of an old lady, outside her house, looking for something while hooding her eyes with her left hand. She walked over to the woman, bowing slightly and greeting her. The old lady was confused for a bit before coming back to her senses and greeting back. As expected, Tane would ask her what she was doing outside her house in the heat and the aged woman would begin to talk about her lost pet. Tane could feel the presence of another mage in or near the village. She listened attentively to what her new acquaintance was talking about, noting that she had introduced herself as Lady Chu. Tane herself told Lady Chu her name.

The old woman then told her that she wanted two people to find her cat for her. This caused a frown form on Tane’s face. Why did she need two people? Tane could do it herself. She tilted her head to the side, her gaze shifting upwards towards a tree. A bright color, out of place, caught her attention. What was that? The Prestigious one folded her arms, concentrating on whatever was on the tree. Then, a sudden movement caused her eyes to widen. It was moving. It was a person! She was sure that was long hair that she was seeing. Perfect. She called the person, “Hello! Please come down! I would like you to help me,” forming a funnel with her hands in front of her mouth to amplify her voice to ensure the person heard her. Hopefully she was a nice human who was helpful. Hopefully, she would agree to help Tane.

A petite female dropped from the branch flawlessly as though she had been doing it her entire life. Tane smiled as she asked, “Yes?” The brunette nodded at her, “Come, let’s find Lady Chu’s cat for her.” She then turned to the old lady who told them she had a reward for them if they found her pet. It was not in Tane to accept rewards, but she did not disagree. She had gotten used to it. Plus, she need some money anyway (assuming the reward was a jewel price). Tane turned towards the road, taking the lead. She walked along a dirt path that the aged woman had called their ‘main road’. The first thing she saw was cat. Wait...it was right there all along? Tane just stood there awkwardly. Maybe the old lady had poor eyesight. She glanced over at the stranger. It seemed this job was going to end rather quickly. “I’m Tane by the way,” she told her, picking up the cat afterwards. She slowly brought the animal back to the old lady. The joy on her face made Tane beam with bliss. After accepting the jewel reward politely, Tane went on to explore the village.
