Special Characteristics: Kiki has small, black, triangular markings on either side of her face that are the markings of her particular clan from her home in Joya. She also has larger canines than the average human and cat-like ears atop her head rather than the round ears of normal humans, just further indication to her Joyan roots.

Personality:

Scholarly; Kiki is unfathomably intelligent and this is due, mostly, to the amount of heavy reading and keen eye for picking out mistakes. It is also for this reason that she comes across as a bit of a loner at a first glance as she often has her headphones over her ears and a book in front of her - or sat in front of a window staring into space. When she gets into this state it is best not to disturb her unless it is important, as disturbing her train of thought often results in her lashing out with unprecedented speed and precision. Or a loud shriek that will leave your ears ringing for days.

Quietly Excitable; While often placid and incredibly laid-back - and focused on other things like learning - there is somewhat of a glimmer in the Joyan girl's eyes when she finds something that piques her interest and takes her out of her world of knowledge. This is only magnified further the more she delves into said interest, showing somewhat of a childish, playful side to her. It is also this side which is more open to trying out new things (to expand her knowledge) and to meet knew people. Afterall, no amount of knowledge can truly prepare her for each and every individual she meets.

Fiery Temper; Don't piss Kiki off. A simple sentence but one that it's probably best to keep in mind whenever you approach her. Before speaking, consider the following;
Is she reading? Does she have her headphones on? If either of these are a no then you're safe to approach.

But before you speak, there are yet more things to consider;
Are her ears twitching? Is her tail twitching? Are her arms crossed?
If any one or more of these signs is showing then it's advisable to be wary. However, despite her explosive temper, she is open to talking should the one speaking with her show genuine empathy and willingness to listen.

A Dangerous Tactician; When in combat Kiki will immediately consider every possible tactic and prepare herself accordingly. With quick wits and quicker control, she can adjust her battle style to any situation whether she be alone or working with others. She will also step into a leader-like role wherever necessary - and often without prior discussion - to ensure that her tactics are followed to the letter and that the battle goes how she plans it to.

A Problematic Subordinate; Kiki's knowledge has numerous advantages for her and her allies, but it does come with its fair share of negatives. Most important of all is her disregard of orders given to her by people she feels don't deserve to give her them, even when those orders fit into her current strategy - she simply adjusts her strategy. This is perhaps also due to her naivety courtesy of her age and lack of actual in-battle experience away from the forests of her homeland. Whatever the case, she is a leader's nightmare unless she respects them. As such it is best to either plan around her strategy or speak with her calmly and in an even tone, discussing the plan with her so that she feels more involved.


Likes:
- Kiki enjoys silence, preferring to be left in the company of her own thoughts - or her favourite music - rather than having to have someone's voice and stupidity grating into her head.

- The realm of Fiore is full to the brim of new things, with the most exciting for Kiki being the music. For some reason though she's taken a particular liking to the heavier musical styles that she has been introduced to.

- Kiki loves to learn, whether it be through reading or through more practical research. While Kiki doesn't necessarily show it, it is speculated that she has immense knowledge that would surpass even a member of the Magic Council.

- Fish. Yep, you read that right. Kiki has that cliche where the ocean-dwelling food stuffs is her personal favourite. If you have a fish in your hand then she'll do almost anything for you.

Dislikes:
- Onions are revolting. While natural, they have a ridiculously strong smell that can destroy the senses and they just taste vile. One of the gifts of nature that Kiki is more than happy to give back.

- Kiki has often gotten into trouble for shattering window panes with a shrill screech if she is ignored for too long. While she likes to be alone, if she speaks then it's best to listen if only to spare the damage.

- Kiki hates instigating confrontations. While she'll happily stand her ground if someone approaches her, she generally flounders like a fish out of water if she herself is attempting to do the same.

Motivations:
- Protect the natural world within Earthland.

- Know all their is to possibly glean about magic, its roots, how it is summoned and, perhaps most importantly, where does the magical energy come from.

- Master her art as a wielder of nature's gifts so that she can give back to nature what she is currently borrowing.

Fears:
- The natural world being damaged beyond repair.

- Being unable to return home to Joya. Being cut off from her family would be catastrophic for Kiki as she feels safe in Fiore in the knowledge she can freely return home.

- Losing her senses. Being unable to sense is a terrifying prospect.

Hair: Kiki's hair is snow white and kept fairly short, with it kept up in two small pigtails that fall alongside her cheeks.

Kiki is rather petit and slender, two traits that are particularly noticeable when she stands beside many of the Fiorean commonfolk, many of which stand around a foot or more taller than she is. From the base of her spine (and through a whole in her lower garments) protrudes a snow white, fur-covered tail about 60cm long. Her clothing of choice varies from dresses to jeans and white half-robes, but when doing jobs she will often wear a long robe of some description, usually opting for white or grey.
