In the days when the people first began to suffer from the cruelty of the 'Abominations', a humble blacksmith born during the days where the demons still  and his wife had a boy. The name he was given is forgotten by time itself, but . . . you may call him Thane. In the lands of ye-old Fiore (some time after the discovery of magic, yet (according to the Wizardex timeline) after the 26 slayers were defeated), Thane had been born under a certain sign, one that foretold his future oh so clearly to the blind seers.

. . . One fateful day, the boy started off on a seemingly normal day in the lands, doing good deeds so he may make money to purchase a gift for his mother whence she returned. It was her birthday. As much as he wanted to celebrate his mother’s return, an old seeress warned him of a vision of great terror, chaos, and Pain. As he returned to the village from the farm ground after pulling crops, a man ran through the village gate screaming of the abominations that would come to the town and slay everyone. The blue sky was completely enveloped in a blanket of darkness, fierce inferno’s engulfed the sky, the village burning to the ground. The servants, abominations pillaged long into the night, murdering humble villagers as they search for the life . . . His sister was captured by the bandits. The boy, feeling oh so very powerless, only able to listen to the shrill cries of the villagers, desperately trying to defend themselves against the bandit Horde. The simple people of the village prove an easy task for the bandits, and almost everyone is killed. Terrified, the boy returns to the town, but not a soul can be found other than his father, who had witnessed the same horrors, whose soul had broken into pieces and was reforged in the image of hatred. . .

It was then the humble blacksmith hundreds of years ago forged a fabled blade through a forbidden process of forging swords that are imbued with the very vengeful soul's of the villagers and the blacksmith's beloved wife and family (excluding thane). . . But, that was not what was hoped. The sword forged from his work had been intended to slay the 'God' of death, someone said to have been the darkest, most evil Mage in the history of the Magic World, mastering the Black Arts and creating many Demons, some of which still wreak havoc in the present day . . . The Dark Mage, Zeref. However, despite the good intentions of the Blacksmith all those years ago, it didn't matter whether the hundreds of souls imbued into the sword were pure or not, it did not matter if the precautions for the ritual were taken. It did not matter what the Blacksmith did to make sure the sword turned out pure, like the countless men who surrendered their souls for the light of the gods. For no matter how or which way it had been forged, the blade was built upon the hatred and malice of the Blacksmith, his accursed obsession with slaying the Dark Magician. That obsession, that hate, the malice, it would become a demon sword regardless. It was then, when the blade was forged, a man came and took the blade, transporting to the void (somehting similar to the one Kuroryu sealed with his brother inside), a realm of pure chaos. Having lost all, the blacksmith died and Thane was finally left all alone.

Thane would grow obsessed with the monsters, determined to find a way to kill them and end their reign of terror, hell, even making a few hundred safe zones if possible . . . One night, while consulting a mysterious tome, Thane was suddenly transported from the Earth-land, and unto the Void (A realm of pure chaos). There he met the man who sat on a throne surrounded by ghastly figures. The being believed himself to be of a higher power than The boy, 'Thane', and tried to enslave him through the use of an Ornate sword, the sword stolen by the man who set the depression into motion that killed his father. Amazingly, Thane overpowered the man, stealing the sword and fleeing the void after harshly wounding the man, killing the first man on a list of monsters.

The demon sword forged by his father spoke to the Boy, calling itself the that of 'Shinokishi' (yes, that of his lineage). . . It promised to help him destroy all monsters, all life that had harmed him, and force them to cross over to the realm of the damned, but only if The boy Gave him its soul . . . His obsession was too great, Thane fell to temptation.

It was a rather rainy and damp night, the already gray sky had all but been consumed by rain clouds and shadows, there wasn't but a spec of moonlight in the sky. Those new damned weather-depicting wizards weren't good at foretelling it whatsoever, it was just . . . 'there would be a pretty full moon tonight they said' "not a cloud in the sky they said' . . . Pathetic humans. A small steam-boat carrying but a child to the front of the all but massive halls of the guild of bounty hunters. He was a rather short teenage boy with short unkempt white hair and glowing blue eyes . . . his body dimensions that was described as "slim" and "delicate." As for his facial features he was somewhat child-like in appearance, but that was to be expected from someone hardly large enough to reach the bar in a guild hall and take his well deserved share of booze . . . Standing hardly over 4'3" tall . . . There wasn't much interesting about him, aside from his severely outdated clothing. To a bounty hunter the type of clothing he was wearing would indicate he lived a very regal and rich lifestyle, which consists of black trousers, a six-button double-breasted tailcoat, and a gray vest, also sporting a pocket watch and a chained silver lapel pin bearing the symbol of a skull with X's over its pupils. His white gloves conceal very well kept fingernails that were apparently naturally colored black since his birth . . . On his back an ornate sword much larger than the child standing there on the steam-boat, likely two meters in length. Its design was very oriental in design, likely of Japanese descent, the exact type of sword would be described as a Nodachi, a field sword.

For someone of that particular build and height, hardly any older than 13 or 14, that sword must've been pretty heavy. Anyways, that steam ship would come to a halt at the dock in front of the guild hall, the captain of the ship would assist the young lad off the boat and onto the dock, leaving the kid to walk forward dragging the massive sword along behind him like some dork in the middle of a battlefield. Anyone what would've 'greeted him' might've thought he was here to place a bounty on someone's head with that rich kid getup . . . What reinforced that idea was how the captain of that steam ship didn't even ask for payment, he just assisted the boy like it was his duty. It wasn't exactly every day someone with a large enough wallet with enough jewels to pay an entire guild off, so, seeing him would've drawn some attention.

The building he was approaching was quite easily identified as some of the more 'medieval' style places, not at all close to the regal style of the clothing the boy was wearing. Large wooden doors stood in front of him, spanning the size of that a gate should be on the outer, log-crafted walls of a village in the forests to the north. The type of village that was attacked by monsters on a regular basis . . . The windows and their panes were quite dirty and dusty, but that was to be expected when approaching a guild full of reformed bandit wizards and mercenary mages, still, that made the child stop for a moment and roll up his sleeves before prying the massive guild hall doors open. Thank goodness he was wearing those gloves, although, he might overreact when he finds the dirt and mud stains on the perfect white leather gloves he wore . . . that sword was still on his side, being dragged along, the already ancient scabbard for the nodachi was practically soaking due to the rain. Thankfully the roof hanging overhead roughly three stories above was keeping the young master dry for the time being. Still didn't stop the creaks in the roof from dropping onto that top-hat he wore.

He entered the hall, dragging the over-sized blade along with him inside the dry warm guild halls . . . it was close to 9:00 PM at night by the time he had officially arrived at the guild. The large doors would creak until they slammed shut from a gust of wind hitting them.

OOC: Sorry if Purple does not show up properly, I still have no idea what to change it to, if it is a problem, please tell me and I will change it.
    IC:

This late at night, a certain girl was walking around the guild hall, barefoot admittedly, and wearing only her sleep outfit of choice. A Pair of shorts and a simple tank top. Her hair was currently brushed, for even a tomboy had a little bit of vanity, even if she did not apply it often enough. She marveled at the weather outside while she was moving about the main hall. When in doubt, a large cup of milk was likely to help with restless fatigue, and if that did not help, she could always do something to expend the energy, like maybe trying to practice fighting so as not to harm anyone. Those were likely activities for the girl as she mulled around what was going on today for her. She had done so many chores, not to mention taking care of the place that day. She had to pay for her room and board some how, and it was just lucky that she was decent at cleaning. She had cleaned the entire place all day, on the inside anyways. The rain was preventing her from cleaning the outside, but who knows, it could be that the rain would do her job for her there, and she would just have to do some minor cleaning there. She was not handy though at repairs, so she might have to ask one of the other guild mates to take care of that part. She would have liked to have prevented more dirt and grime from outside from entering, but she knew that people came in from all over. It was obvious that people would track that stuff in.

When she looked up from her thought, almost punctuated by lightning in the sky, a boy stood in the doorway. She looked at him for a few moments, before she scowled. "I just spent all day cleaning these floors, and you track mud in here!" she declared out of annoyance and anger. She really did not like that her hard work for this room early on was just ruined like this. She had worked really hard and gotten it cleaned completely like this. Just how was she going to explain that to the people up the ladder now? Would she have to stay up and clean the floors again? She hoped not, she wanted to sleep tonight, in that nice and warm, if not slightly humble bed of hers. Ok, so it might be a cot, but whats the difference? She was still sleeping with a pillow and blanket on something that was slightly comfortable and not on the streets. Just what was she going to do otherwise? She did not want to end up being one of those people, the kind that shirk their duties. "Take off those shoes right now, I do not know who you are, but leave them by the door, if need be, I will clean them, I hope you did not get me in trouble this evening." she would put her glass down and pick that moment to go and look for the nearest closet of cleaning supplies. She needed some water, soap, and maybe a rag to fix this.

She would return rather quickly with a bucket of water, and a rag, maybe some soap. She would go up to his position and get down on the ground, as she would start to scrub. "If you have your shoes off, please go take a seat, someone will come take care of what you need, now let me do my job!" she stated rather loudly, letting herself overflow with the energy known as determination. She would clean this spot of floor till it was clean again, and then finally go to bed. She would not let herself get in trouble due to his actions. She really did not want any problems though. "Go ahead and sit down, sorry if I am being rude, but I really want to avoid trouble, this is how I afford to live here." she would finally state, her voice softening.

She would focus on the ground and scrubbing it, ringing out the rag in the bucket, before going back to it again. She really was focusing. She did not want anyone to come see it as a mess. She did not even know what to think of the boy though. Why did he have to avoid wiping his shoes? Did he not know that shoes needed to be wiped after being out in the mud and rain? No, she would not yell at him for that, she already yelled at him plenty. Maybe she just needed to get to bed? She could do that after she had finished making sure that no more mud happened upon the nice clean stone floor of the guild hall. She really was trying her hardest not to panic over this. This was her way of making her way through the world, she needed to take it in stride. She would have to calm down. She would take a deep breath, and finish the cleaning just like that. She would then pull out another rag, and dry the floor. She could finish everything else up in the morning when she went to clean the closet of the prior days work. Tonight was supposed to be getting ready for rest, not building up more frustration and annoyances. Just who was he to do that? She would stare at him for a few moments after that, unable to figure out what to say to him.

That sword in its sheath still wobbled around even after the boy tried to secure it on his back via the string that went over his torso, hooking the sheath and the hilt of the blade together. As directed, the child removed the two black leather, buckled shoes and left them at the door step . . . Usually after being scolded or yelled at a boy his age should've broken down into a fit of tears and snot bubbles, but instead, he simply stared at her for a few moments, blinking, like he didn't understand the majority of words coming out of her mouth. Although he did follow those orders . .. which indicated he did in fact hear everything, although, showed no emotion whatsoever. Those eyes were blank, the pupils and blue eye color was there, but there was no 'soul' behind them, like that little bit of him was gone entirely . . . Wait a minute, why the hell would someone give a little kid a sword?!?! Who in the right mind would give a little boy a sword double his height, weighing much more than he probably did? It was nice though, the sheath had an incomprehensible inscription on the sheath’s pitch black surface, written in divine characters that all but mesmerizing, as well as horrifying to stare at for too long, like the very writing was tugging and eating away at souls. The little kid might've actually been able to read it, “Praise be the order brought forth from the very edge of the darkest void, for whosoever wields this sword, should he be worthy, should he lack the very thing that makes him human, shall be deathless, shall have the power of Shinokishi". Kinda lengthy, but the inscription was still covered in gibberish to everyone else. . . It looked like something Zeref might've cooked up on a death and emo storm somewhere on an island with a giant mushroom.

The door to the guild hall had hardly shut at this point, the wind blowing it open a few times before it slammed shut once more, the stone outside the guild hall, beyond the roof, wasn't necessarily wet whatsoever, specifically the places the boy had walked on. In fact, most things that touched it made a the same noise steel did when it was heated and placed in a water bucket after it was freshly forged. That didn't make sense though, his shoes were obviously muddy and soaked, the sword and its sheath were dry though . . . Now that the door was going all poltergeist in the sense that it was opening and closing at random, it was clear that the boat that had brought him here was sinking, and a skeletal figure was floating around in the murky waters, bobbing up and down due to exposure from the rain . . .

After finally jumping up and sitting his tiny bottom onto the stool he turned his head and removed the top-hat he wore, as well as his gloves, revealing the tiny, extremely sharp claws he had for fingernails. Of which were naturally colored black. "You shouldn't stare, its rude. . . Shouldn't you be asleep?" The rather youthful voice carried a heavy Englishmen accent that wasn't exactly common around these parts, unless, y'know, you were somewhere northeast in earth-land. Whatever, the kid had half a mind to actually spout off to the girl cleaning the floors he just dirtied with his muddy. . . pilgrim shoes, about manners. Of all things, manners. If he wasn't going to get backhanded or stabbed soon, he probably would be eventually for having that. . . he didn't have a tone that indicated disrespect or 'snark', not even a smartass grin on his face. There was however a hint of concern in his tone at the last minute when he asked 'shouldn't you be asleep'.

So tell me Ignite before I dropkick you, why the hell are we patrolling the guild again? Elyx asked with a huge amount of annoyance in his voice. Right now, he could be sleeping in his bed at home safely, dreaming about the next job that he would like to take. But instead, here he was with Knight Iris blade equipped in his right hand and his Violin without the bow in his left. To guide his way, Ignite held a fireball in her hand and put that right hand forwards so they have the easy access of the guild. She turned her head towards him, but he did not look her directly in her glowing orange eyes, even though they provided more light, he was still angered by the fact that she is the reason why he was even doing this in the first place. Elyx, you have only been doing jobs and they have been getting easier. No one is guarding the guild at night from what I have seen. At least, not the way I want them to. Ignite explained s if she were Kakuma, who did she think she were to act like she was giving him orders anyways? He turned his head to the side to look away at her before continuing this conversation. So you forced ME!?  Elyx exclaimed, possibly waking up the guild itself, and that would get him in a lot of trouble. Ignite continued the conversation as if he did not just yell at her.  Dummy, you wield some of the most powerful magic in the guild, you would make a perfect guard! Doing something like this should be a piece of cake!

Elyx then crossed his arms in defiance and continued walking, noticing that there was talking in one house that he did not recognize. He thought he knew everyone in the guild, maybe there were guests? No, this was definitely a house... Intruders maybe? Not in Black Rose, there better not be any... Elyx said to himself as he walked to the door and knocked on it a few times. He kept on knocking as he introduced himself. Elyx Reiaki of the guild Black Rose. Open up please, if not, I'll assume the worst. I just need to take with you for a second.

Such a rude child. She did not care about the sword he carried, she had attempted to finally be cordial, and this was how he acted? What a brat! She really did not like how he said that to her, though it was true. She really should be heading to bed, not just standing there now that she had finished the cleaning of the guild hall. She felt a little like the kid could use some sharp words, or maybe some exercising, something to put his attitude in better perspective, but that was not up to her. She was but a simple low rank guild member. Someone who spends a lot of time cleaning, and doing small jobs, things that would potentially make her grow further in the guild, but so far had not, it seemed it was mostly her mannerisms though. She would have to figure out if she actually wanted to advance before she did so, but that was not important, for now it was probably best for her to go towards her room, and sleep.

That was when she heard a knocking on the guild hall door. She felt rather confused, as people generally did not do that. At least she did not know of anyone who did that. Why would they? The guild hall was mostly for meetings with in the guild, and potentially for meals. It was for many things, public things as far as the guild seemed to be concerned. This was just confusing to her. Why would someone do such a thing? Especially at this time of night, while it was raining? Those things just seemed all confusing to her. Well, this was closer to an Entrance room than a Guild Hall when she thought about it, but either way, this was not some place that you would generally attribute to a place that knocking was the best idea. Just what was she to do though, she was not high ranking, so if it was some uninformed important person, they would be out of luck.

She would get to the door and open it, a glare in her eyes. "What are you doing Knocking, even if this was a residence, one should not disturb it unless it is important, just come in, but please take off your boots, I just had to re clean these floors, and if you dirty them I am going to have to clean it again" she would state, a rather annoyed look on her face. She did not know what to think of the person that was standing there, seemingly holding a fireball. Actually, was that two people? She could not tell, not in this weather or darkness, since the fire was all she really saw. Just what was up with this person? People? She was really not in the mood to deal with this stuff. She would try to recover her smile. "Are you coming in or not? I really would like to make sure that the hall does not get dirty before I go to bed." she would motion.

She really did not know what to think of those two. She thought about their words. "Take with us where? Sorry, I am not leaving the guild tonight, and it really is not proper for a girl to leave a place she stays dressed as I am, with anyone." she would state offhandedly. Her purple eyes staring back and forth between the brat at the table, and the two people that were currently outside. This night was seemingly longer and longer.

The girl that answered the door seemed nice, but he had to admit that he had never seen her in the guild before. Still, if she was not showing any resistance of any sort, he is willing to be just as nice. Well, it was important at the time I thought it was. It's just that I thought someone was intruding into one of our guild members homes. Elyx explained as he turned his head to Ignite, who put out the fireball once there was light revealed in the house. When the girl offered him to go inside, he did not really want to disturb if she was doing something important. No, really, it's fi- He was cut off when the girl asked if she was coming in or not. It seemed like he had no other choice but to go in. Just as he was about to step in, her words started to come out and explained why he should take off his shoes. By the way this person talked, she sounded like a member, though he had his doubts, she gave him no reason to question her. The Bounty Hunter removed both of his boots outside, and left them on the doormat. He then walked inside with his white socks as he turned back to see how Ignite was doing. She attempted to do the same thing, but she still seemed to be losing the whole human blending nature. Elyx still had some things to teach her it seems. Finally, she took off her boots and walked in with rainbow colored socks. Still a child at heart it seems.

As he walked in, he noticed that there was a kid here, which caused his eyes to shoot up into the air. When he looked back to the girl, he shook his head, clearing the thought. That would be crazy! The violinist thought to himself before asking the girl a question. Who might this child be? Elyx asked out of curiousity. Ignite went to the boy and tried to start a conversation with him, and probably should avoid getting hit with that sword by accident. Hello there little one. Do you have a name? The She Phoenix asked as she tilted her head to the side. Meanwhile, the violinist was talking to the girl. Oh! Er, talk... Talk was what I meant. Elyx explained as he put his hand behind his head. Rarely does he speak so bluntly. In any case, a conversation. Trust me, I am a member of the guild as well, I would have nowhere to take you anyways. Back to the point, I know this is rather blunt since you have a house here it seems, but are you a Black Rose member? Then Elyx turned to the boy with only one question. And who might you be?

"My name is Thane, I am the death knight, Shinokishi . . ."

Whatever, if this kid was a 'knight', then the king of edolas was a talking dog with a pink mustache and a monocle . . . The tiny, delicate right hand of the boy would grip the border of the sheath, right where the ornate decorative hand-guard separated the hilt and the sheath. With the crack of his thumb nail hitting the guard the blade was slightly unsheathed, unsealing a black cloud of fire from the sheath, a fire that would consume the child, yet lack the heat or 'burning' sensation one would have expected. It didn't take long for it to become clear that the boy was all but gone and something that towered over most men and women was left in his place. It stood at roughly 6'8", granted it was sitting at the current time, covered in traditional garbs that were most definitely out of place, and padded light armor that went together quite well with the sword he carried around. It wasn't a delicate looking fellow, quite the opposite really. The musculature structure he had was all lean and lanky muscle that qualified as being extremely athletic considering his height, however, still retaining that long muscle look that prevented him from appearing too 'bulked up'. . . His facial features were masculine, covered in cracks and scars that made his skin look like a porcelain mannequin if it were extremely handsome and standing at 6'8", wearing samurai armor . . . His hair was fairly short, the sides of his head seemingly shaved to make place for strange markings that were engraved on the sheath . . .

The blade itself radiated with an ominous energy, one full of malice and dread, something only a monster would be radiating with . . . Shinokishi was sealed into a void like, 5000 years ago or something by his brother, which begged the question, why was he here? Or someone claiming to be him here. Nonetheless, the deep and dark tone of the death knight was a bit eerie in the sense that there were countless souls inside him, flickering the words all at once in a jumble of echos. "I'm here to join your 'guild'"

She looked unimpressed. "Once again, I remind you, this is not a residence, but a guild hall, I just happen to stay in one of the rooms that was offered to me." she would say, crossing her arms after she closed the door. She really did not want the rain to get in. She looked over the situation before finally answering a question. "Jato Minerva, Low ranking member of the Blackrose guild, I think this tattoo should be proof of that" she stated with her hand pointed at the tattoo on her neck that was not near the eyes that ran along the rest of her torso. It was on the left side.

She would then let out a yawn, almost as if she could not handle the lateness. "Well, who ever that kid is, he came in properly to the guild hall, instead of just acting like this is a house building, for a guild member, you really seem lacking in information." she stated, stretching before shrinking back into her normal pose of post work stuff. She grabbed her cup of milk and finished it off.

She felt rather tired suddenly. It was rough dealing with people like this. She would probably have had more fun resting, possibly reading a book, or doing some exercises before going to sleep. Something to help her relax. This was not relaxing, and made her question her own values of not inflicting harm on people, though that made her think of her father, and she shook that off quickly. She would have to look into figuring out why she always ended up thinking against herself, and then thinking about her parents, it was an annoying habit.

She would then gather up the cup she had for milk, and anything else that had been left out. "I think I will go to bed, I am not a high enough ranking to bother with helping someone try to join, you seem like a guard or something so a higher rank, please take care of that person, who ever he is now." she stated, waving back with her free hand, as she would leave towards the inner workings of this building. She could get to her room safely after that. She just wanted to get a good nights rest.

Elyx sighed as he crossed his arms and looked towards the ground. Why is it the lower ranked ones that give the scoldings? He thought to himself as he looked up. She answered his question with the tattoo, well all right. She knew about his lack on information, and there was plenty of reason for it. Yeah, job and stuff. No more needs to be said. The boy said as he turned to the child. Thane, a Death Knight? Well, Elyx had no right to judge, many people think of him as a kid since his appearance gave people that impression. He just turned 18 a week ago exactly, so he had no right to judge the kid, and he did not plan to. That's an interesting blade you have there. Elyx commented as he drew out his blade, Knight Iris. It has been a while since he had used it, the blue and black blade that deflects all magic and ignores all weapons. Yet, it could be advanced even further with the right materials that he does not carry, nor does he believe the guild will let him carry anyways. Join the guild you ask? Hmmm... Elyx said before his attention was drifted to the center of the house. The girl left him to take care of the child. Now I'm babysitting? Well... All right Thane. You are going to have to talk to Sophie to join the guild. Follow me, this girl needs to sleep since it's late anyways. The boy said as he signalled the boy to go outside. Ignite followed right behind.
