Size Matters

Devon shock her head keeping out of reach she had no weapon to help attack with but she could see the ring not on the floor the full must of coursed the magpie to drop it on impact with the floor. sweeping down Devon toke hold of the ring and hailed it up. The ring weighed a lot in Devon's small for and she even struggled to get it off the floor but after some heaving Devon started to climb in height and again got out of the danger zone "a bit over kill you could of just harmed in to the point that it could not move for a few hours witch is plenty of time for us to get away!" she stated softly her face was starting to turn pink with struggle she needed to get stronger her arms where not as toned as other slayers as she her dragon had not focused on strength but technique instead.

Devon smiled softly "if your finished i am quite ready to get to full size!" she stated lightly looking over at the bird she sighted lightly she hatter harming something so natural to mother earth but this was the life she had to lead now quickly shacking her head Devon looked back to Akeya

Akeya stayed on the offensive until the magpie stopped moving, after which she let her dark katana dissipate into shadows as she jumped off of the giant bird, letting out a sigh as the adrenaline coursing through her veins ran out. She still had some trouble believing that she just had that kind of fight with was basically a type of bird which you could encounter in any backyard, and who normally would only pose a threat to worms and other insects. Even when keeping in mind the fact that she and Devon were now the size of insects she still had some trouble with the concept.

Looking up at the faerie girl the half dragon frowned for a moment before looking around at the bird, who no longer was moving.

"It still is alive, so if you really don't want it to die you could heal it back to the point where its life shouldn't be in danger. At least, I'm pretty sure that as a Water Dragon Slayer you should possess that kind of ability. However, after that we'll immediately return the ring."

Akeya looked around before realizing that the grass was still in the way of finding the right direction towards where their client should be waiting for them, resulting in her sighing as she rubbed the back of her head. Just like Devon she was just about finished with being this small: it was an interesting experience, but by now it was mostly getting annoying.

'Monster Dice' :

Devon smiled softly as she slowly started to head towards the house her eyes soft but heavy she was becoming tiered the magic was trying she had not done so much in so long this was a lot in one day. As Devon moved forward she noticed something scurry past her at her current speed this was not impossible, Devon turned her head trying to get a better look she palsied tilting her head slightly trying to look around the blades of grass. "Akeya i think we have company!" she stated lowering down and placing the ring on the floor she needed to move with more efficiency.

Devon then sore the scattering thing again and followed it to where it almost blended seamlessly into the scenery, Squinting her eyes she sore the spider like creature looking right at her readying itself to attack. As it ran forward Devon shot up into the air placed her hands infrount of her mouth "water Dragon roar" She called a whirlpool of water erupered through her hands and it hit the creatures leg making it full off. Devon had aimed for the body and missed but it seemed to work that way too.

Akeya followed her faerie companion back towards the house, after having jumped up and unfurling her wings to rejoin Devon in the air. Honestly it would have been smarter if she had stayed on the ground like before, but she really was getting too tired of all this to bother with being careful. The bird had been a real tough nut to crack, if only because of the sheer difference in size. Besides of that having to fight oversized insects was not something Akeya particularly enjoyed. It wasn't like they terrified her, like some people seemed to be afraid of the creatures, but they still weren't very pleasant to interact with, especially if for some reason they were roughly as big as her.

Akeya's internal muttering was interrupted when Devon announced that something else was approaching them, making her blink and quickly look around to locate the new threat. This one appeared to be quite fast, making the half dragon frown as she stayed in the air. When it finally became more visible she sighed once more, beginning to dive at the same time as Devon released a torrent of water to blast one of its legs off. While the faerie girl kept the harvestman busy on the ground Akeya headed straight for its body, shadows gathering around one of her hands. Without slowing down she slammed down on top of the creature, its frail legs wobbling as it tried to stay standing. However that didn't really matter in the end, as the shadows gathering around her hand formed a shadow claw, which she then used to swiftly carve into the harvestman's body. Combined with the full power dive bombing she had done before it was enough to make the harvestman collapse, after which the winged ninja punched it another couple of time with chitin-cracking force to ensure that it would stop moving. After that she looked at Devon, who even with Akeya's mask and blindfold in the way would feel the annoyance radiating from the half dragon.

"Let's go."

Devon shock her head softly as she watched Akeya take on the spider like creature her head fell so she was looking at the floor she sighed softly and looked around at her surroundings and picked the ring back up and headed off towards the house he speed was slowed by the weight of the ring she now carried well more like dragging behind her.

When the house came into sight Devon sighed softly and tried to pick up speed this was not really successful but she would of got points for trying. Her eyes softened when she sore the client and Devon flew up and handed it to the woman. Devon then felt a strange sensation go through her body as she realized she was growing this continued until she was finally her normal height Devon shock her body and stretched herself checking she was really back to normal.

Devon nodded to Akeya and smiled lightly "it was nice to work with you!" she stated lightly before she started to walk off into the distance she went her own way not making much fuss really and just fading back into the background where she felt more at home than anywhere.
