    Description: This magic allows the caster to switch one object or subject with another.  This has some pretty strange rules though. The magic is created by linking the various targets together.  These links can take various forms.  When the targets are linked the targets can be switched as long as they meet the conditions for switching. The conditions for switching are set by each individual spell.  There is always at least one condition for each spell to accomplish the switch.  The most restricting the condition or the more conditions set the more powerful, versatile and creative the switch can be.
    Illiskier likes to create magic unbreakable strings that connect her targets.  She likes to cause trouble with her magic more than anything.  Stealing would be the most likely use of her power as she has been an Orphan as long as she can remember and has always had to steal to survive.  She isn’t really suited for combat and uses her magic to avoid fighting wherever possible.  If she is put into a situation where she needs to fight she will try to disable her opponent in some way to allow her escape.  She will avoid confrontation whenever possible.
    Strengths:

    • Unique and widely varying effects
    • Good for escaping
    • The perfect thief magic


    Weaknesses:

    • Not suited for direct combat
    • Conditions must be met to activate
    • Have to connect targets first
    • More powerful spells can be difficult to setup

    Unique Abilities:

    • Link Strings – With a touch Illiskier can connect/create a link string to an object or person she has touched.  This creates connections between the objects that the strings are attached to for her magic.  The strings can be any color she chooses and they are indestructible by normal means.  The strings cannot hinder movement in anyway.  In fact the strings seem to pass through solid objects and are semi-transparent with a ghostly effect.  She can dismiss these thread at any time.
    • Link Sense – Illiskier can tell where the objects she has linked are.  This takes concentration and time though.  If within combat the enemy would have to give Illiskier 2 posts of uninterrupted concentration to focus on this sense and then she must continue to not be disrupted.  She can talk while focusing but not move or cast other spells.
    • Magic Appraisal - The user can identify any non-magic item they touch for what it is.  That doesn't mean they know how to use it they just know what it is.  What it is made of and whether it has any flaws or not.

      Description: This switch spell allows Illiskier to switch the position of any object with a rock.  Illiskier must be able to hold the rock so rocks too heavy for her to lift are not applicable. Another condition is that the rock must be as heavy as or heavier than the object being traded.  The object cannot be alive nor a magical construct stronger then D rank.  The distance of this spell isn’t really limited but Illisker must have a sense of where both the rock and the object being switched are.  This can be any sense, touch, smell, sight, hearing, magical, or her Link sense.
      Strengths:

      • An amazing thief spell
      • Good for disarming opponents
      • Qucik recast

      Weaknesses:

      • Must have a rock linked
      • must have touched the item
      • Weight restriction
      • must have a sense of object’s location

      Cooldown: 3 posts
      Description: Illiskier can switch places with an object of near her weight.  The object must be within 30 pounds of Illiskier.  In order to trigger the spell Illiskier must have first touched the object in question and have drawn, painted, or carved her middle name on the object.  The distance is limited to 20 meters so it would only be a short hop but perfect for a quick escape.
      Strengths:

      • Quick Escape
      • Best Defense…not being there in the first place
      • Only need one item instead of two

      Weaknesses:

      • Short range must still flee
      • Requires her to mark an item
      • Can only work for herself
      • Object marked must be near her own weight

      Name: Thread Shot
      Rank: D
      Type: Utility
      Duration: 1 Thread
      Cooldown: 1 post
      Description: Normally Illiskier needs to touch her target but she can use a bit more of her magical power to shoot out a thread in target direction.  It will travel at a speed similar to an arrow and move in a straight line for about 40 meters.  The thread can be any color she chooses.  The thread will stick to the target and her hand will hold the other end.  She can then connect the end she is holding to another object or person of her choice.
      Strengths:

      • Long Range Connecting for other spells
      • Instant cast

      Weaknesses:

      • No damage by self
      • can miss with the thread
      • must take time to connect other end

      Name: Hand Switch

      Type: Offensive
      Duration: 4 post
      Cooldown: 2 posts after duration
      Description: Illiskier does not like to fight but in the rare occasion that she might need to she has prepared a spell.  This spell allows her to switch her hands with any non-living object that has been connected to her link threads.  This does not harm her and her body continues to function like normal.  In fact she can still feel her hand in whatever location it is and can move it by scuttling with her fingers if she wants.  The object in question will be attached to the spot where her hand used to be making it an extension her arm.  She can attach the item in any way she chooses.  Both hands can be exchanged but at the end of the duration her hands will return.  She can freely change between items while this spell is active but only twice per post.  The condition for this spell requires her to be within 20 meters of the item.
      Strengths:

      • Good Improvised weapon spell
      • Quick changing to confuse enemies

      Weaknesses:

      • Requires a link first
      • hand is vulnerable
      • Limited to what is around
      • short range
