Duel: Haruhi Kanashimi vs Krow

Haru stood in the darkened tunnel. She put her hand on the large steel door blocking her way. The muffled sound of the crowd outside rumbled through the stadium. She closed her eyes and waited. She listened to the announcer end the current fight. The loser was being carried off the dirt opening. It as time. The large gateway began to open slowly, showing a shimmering light from beneath.

"It is time." Haru said with a smirk, her two sharpened teeth showing in the corner of her leer. She took a few steps forward and continued through the door. The sunlight abused her dilated eyes, hiding the vast crowd in a glare. When she finally adjusted, she saw the audience on their feet cheering. "Just a bunch of cowards, none of them have the gall to get in here and fight for their own entertainment." Haru strolled to the center of the arena and waited for her opponent.

Krow stood in the darkened tunnel. The corridor being a bit too quiet, the muffled sounds of the crowd beyond the door not bothering him one bit. He was actually out cold, his head slummed forward a bit, his maw ajar with drool gathered around its lower edge rolling down his chin. A bubble seeming to dip in and out of his right nasal passage as he slept, somehow doing so while still standing up-right. The current fight had ended, and with its death came the sudden death of his slumber. The male head snapping upward just as the large steel door slowly opened allowing a shimmer of light to illuminate the tunnel and cast his shadow.

"This should be fun." Krow said as his maw curled into a confident smirk. He stepped forward, his straw hat tilted forward so that it kept his gaze hidden within a seemingly abysmal shadow. He look all around, now jumping up and down excitedly shouting at people. "Hey! If I win you all have to buy me lots of food!!" He cheered excitedly before turning back towards the arena. He snickered his usual unusual "shishishi" as he made his way up into the arena and heard the comment of his apparent adversary. He couldn't really disagree with her on that, but he didn't really care, as long as he got to fight someone strong he would be happy. "Let's give 'em a good show."

Haru watched as this older boy walked into the arena. He yelled to the audience about food before making his way toward her. "Oh god...." Haru said, targeting his attitude. Haru wasn't fond of overly happy people. She felt they took the attention away from her.

"I'm not sure what you think this is, but it isn't a show for them. I could care less about these putrid flies on the wall. You versus me. That's it."

Haru's eyes began to sink. Her pupils expanded and her breathing deepened. "Have you ever met a demon before, dragon slayer...?" Her opponent seemed confused. He hadn't shared he was the fire dragon slayer.

"Oh? You are wondering, aren't you? I can tell you the magic of every mage in the arena and then some. A true magician's spirit. And I hate to share this, but I absolutely abhor slayers."

Krow listened as the younger girl shared her views on what was going. As he listened, he could feel himself beginning to become enraged. His cheerful expression changing to that of clear annoyance, something he tried hard to restrain, but the scowl was already in place. He couldn't stand people who talked of others as if they were trash.

"I'm gonna make you get those words. I don't care if they aren't as strong we are. Their right to live is just as great.", he snapped at her angrily.

Krow's right arm rising, his open palm clasping the straw hat that sat upon his head. He would tilt the hat back to secure a better view of the girl. His iris's having become a fierce scarlet hue while his pupils became almost non-existent. This change only occurring when he was truly enraged. "Human or demon... it doesn't matter. I'm gonna kick your ass either way." He stated calmly, his rage no longer being given off by his vocal tone but still present upon his facial structure. Even when she had stated her knowledge of his being a Dragon Slayer, his face showed no confusion, only anger. He was too angry to care about something so unimportant.

"I don't care about that. You talk too much." He said as he cracked his knuckles and stretched quickly before simply letting his entire body relax.

Haru swept her eyes across the arena. From people in the audience back to Krow.

"These people? These people don't care if we live or die. They are here to see one of us die. I think they need to understand something."

Haru spoke these words and darted toward the audience. All left was a small crater in the ground where she stood. Her voice could be heard throughout the arena. "Let's see if they are fond of this!" Looking into the stands, two large pillars, holding up an upper level stand, exploded. Her words echoed through the arena. "CRASH SLAP!" The concrete seating and flooring fell apart and emptied an entire stand in the arena. The crowd screamed and stumbled over each other as they tried to flee. Haru, harnessing her crash through her feet, sprinted toward Krow. "Make it worth my time!" Haru leaped toward Krow and threw a heavy right jab directly at his head.

Haruhi please edit your post.

You have basically essentially seemingly teleported to the side of the arena, smashed part of it and then zoomed back to punch someone in the face.

You are a C rank mage and even with crash magic boosting you this isn't stuff you should be able to do.

Heck, without using spells i'd have a little bit of trouble pulling this stuff off as an S rank demon slayer. Please edit your post and remember you are C rank.

Krow watched as the female approached the stands. "Hey, what the hell are you doing!? Leave them out of this!" He snapped angrily as he watched her proceed to destroy a portion of the stands. As he watched this scene unfold, the anger he had just brought back under check boiled to the surface once more. He watched through rage filled optics as the spectators clamored over each other fighting viciously to survive, while showing no concern for those around them. He felt sickened just watch this, yet he could feel it, deep down some part of him was excited by the way they could so easily dismiss the lives of others to save their own. His attention quickly shifting back to his opponent as she made a speedy approach. "Right back at'cha." Krow said grinning excited as she leapt forth. When she threw the heavy right jab at his face he was quick to react, his left arm raising ready to catch her strike, and his right arm clutching his left elbow to brace himself against the impact.

Haruhi saw Krow from the stands. Krow looked appalled. She heard him demand her to leave the audience out of it. Although these words had one meaning, she could see his interest in her doings. She continued with her attack, watching as Krow readied himself. He had steadied his arm, holding his elbow, and took stance.

Haruhi saw that Krow was going to attempt to catch her attack. "Hmm... please." Haruhi continued her punch with the words "Dimensional Crash!" Haru was a couple meters from Krow before she threw the punch. In front of her hand a dark tear appeared in front of her. Haru sunk her fist into it. Another dark tear appeared behind Krow's head. The tone of Haru's fist could be seen from the tear, only a couple hand lengths from Krows head.

Krow watched as Haruhi approached, throwing her punch only for some sort of tear to appear in front of her punch. This eliciting a clearly amazing, "Holy shit!" to be let loose from the dragon slayer gullet. He quickly snapped back into focus when a similar flash of light radiated from behind him. This gave him just enough time to drop down onto all fours. He didn't bother waiting for her to pull something else. The fire mage using the dropping momentum to throw his body into a rapid rotating motion off to his right hand side. His feet tapping down upon the tiles of the arena.

When his feet hit the tiles flames would erupt from his feet. Krow using said flame jet-propulsion aspect to launch himself forward, only to curve his direction mid-propulsion so he was now heading straight for her off from her left hand side The jet-propulsion aspect allowing him to travel at sixty miles per hour. One would probably expect him to throw a typical kick. He however waited till his was only a few feet off to her side. He would let his body fall forward, breaking his fall with his hands he swung his body within this motion, feet still ablaze he would fling himself toward her, aiming to slam the bottom of his feet upon the base of her chin as to send her up into the air.

Krow, if Haruhi took the hit would follow it up by planting his feet back upon the ground for the briefest of moments, only to quickly give chase if she had in fact went air-bourne. Once in the air he would try to position himself above her and swing his left leg toward her, no longer using the flames as a backing for the assault as he now just planned on hurling her back down onto the arena. If Haruhi managed to dodge this, he would kept to his hands, using them to swing his body back around and apply the gathered momentum to shove off the ground and distance himself from her.

Haruhi was surprised that Krow was able to avoid her punch. Her tear gave no signs of being their, a mere silent rip in dimensions. Haru pushed herself off with one foot, to avoid his counter attack. "That could have hurt... could have." She said with a smirk. Krow followed through with his momentum and distanced himself from Haru.

"Tell me slayer. Is this the strongest your dragon was able to give you?" Haru said menacingly. "A dragon is rumored to be almighty. Only slayers are said to possess the power to beat them. But you, bouncing away from a twelve year old girl. If that's the strength of a dragon" Haru dropped her fist into the ground, cratering a large portion of her footing, "Then I see myself on top of the almighty."

Haru lifted her head and threw 4 more punches at Krow. She ripped through dimensions and sent them from all angled around him. Once again, from the back of the head. The second punch was for under his chin. Her third strike was aimed for his left knee, and his final, a straight jab at the kidney.

Haru didn't wait to see if she landed any strikes. SHe looked up and released her aura with the words "Five Gates, bend for me. Gate of Emergence... open!" Haru had channeled her own crash magic to break through her bodies limiters. With the first gate open, her strength and speed was well set ahead of a regular B-rank mage.

Krow listened as the girl went on yet another rant. "Do you ever shut up? I'm not gonna go all out against some brat. It'd leave a bad taste in my mouth." He said as he pressed his right hand against the side of his neck, cracking it to release the tension. He didn't get how such a little girl could be so full of herself. Which probably made it a good thing he was too stupid to really think on it for more than a split second.

Krow watched as she threw the first punch, a large flash of light from behind him being a pretty good indicator he should dodge. So he did, by shifting his center of gravity completely to the left side of his body he fell off to his left hand side easily avoiding the first punch. He'd swung back into an up-right position.

The second large flash of light, this time from below giving away her intent, he simply dropped backwards a mere few inches and watched as her fist flew by. When she went to withdraw this strike, he reached out and grabbed hold of her arm before it could vanish from sight. "Why do you use these!? Attacks like this are boring." He said as he applied his dragon fire to his feet once more, but instead of rushing forward, he would use the jet-propulsion aspect in reverse. This having the effect of yanking her dimensional tear bound arm with a sixty mile an hour force that would most likely leave the appendage broken.

Krow keeping up this momentum would release her limb so she could withdraw it, only for him to correct the jet-propulsion aspect of the flames upon his feet to launch himself towards her at sixty miles per hour. A grin playing upon his maw as he swiftly raised his right leg, the appendage bending which left him propelling a greatly sped-up flame enhanced knee aimed at the left side of her jaw. He could tell given the speed he had just been granted, her chances of evading were incredibly low. Not only were they less than ten feet from each other, but she had also made the stupid decision to crater a portion of her own footing and never remove herself from it.
