    Job Description:

    Akeya sighed as she walked towards the boot at which the passports are handed out. She mostly took this mission because being allowed to leave Fiore would be useful in the future, but she hadn't imagined that there would be this many people around, all trying to get themselves a passport. And not only are there so many of them, but they're all being rowdy, energetic, agitated, noisy... Akeya pulled her hood further over her eyes, wishing she could somehow do something about her poor ears being assaulted by such a wall of sound. At least her usual attire, the large cloak covering every part of her and the mask covering the lower half of her face, made people a bit too cautious to just walk right into her.

    At least the sheer amount of magic in this city was helping Akeya feel somewhat comfortable. The more magic there is the better Akeya feels, and seeing how the entirety of Rose Garden was enhanced with magic that meant that besides of the large amount of people Akeya felt quite at home here. If she could just find an empty alley or something she could rest and enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by magic, but since she came here with a clear purpose in mind that would have to wait, and she got the feeling finding any place without people in Rose Garden would be one of the hardest challenges so far. Others might not have her relation with magic, but it still attracted them due to the possibilities it offers. While waiting in the line Akeya closed her eyes, using her ears to pick up on the sounds of the line advancing while she tried to distance herself mentally.

    However even the feeling of being surrounded by non-hostile magic couldn't completely get rid of Akeya's annoyance at the large amount of people around her. They're noisy, they smell, they're unnecessarily rowdy and humans in general had the tendency to not react well to Akeya. One of her most prominent and consistent problems in life, the fact that she can't mingle with humans, at least normal ones. Mages are used to strange sights and creatures, so they had a better chance, but in general Akeya preferred not to bother trying to interact with humans. She left her village behind because she wanted to see the world, not to find friends like some people do.

    The least they could do was stop slacking off and not hold up the entire line of people trying to get a passport. Akeya's patience does not account for situations where she has to wait purely because somebody is being annoying.

    Oh, and to make it even better a fight was starting to break out. Apparently one of the men standing in line was also becoming impatient, but while Akeya just silently grew irritated he had to voice his complaints, and loudly at that. One of the people standing behind the man did not appreciate the whining and soon they were glaring at each other and grabbing each other by the collar. Akeya's expression turned from annoyed to extremely displeased as she stepped towards the two men.

    "Stop that, or I'll give you something else to complain about."

    The two men turned towards the cloaked figure and started to open their mouths as they noticed that she was smaller than them, but the words died in their mouth as a strange kind of urgency started to fill their minds. The cloaked figure was giving off a feeling that could not be described as killing intent, but it was clear that Akeya was displeased, and not planning to put up with any man trying to act like the world revolved around them. Sheepishly the men let go of each other and looked the other way, trying to act like nothing happened. At the same time Akeya returned to her spot, shooting a glare towards the man standing behind her with such intensity that he stepped backwards without complaining.

    Several minutes later it was finally Akeya's turn to receive her passport. After she had told the two men to stop their bickering the people surrounding her had become a bit more of a line and a bit less of a crowd turning riot. She had only meant to stop a fight from breaking out, but if her showing her displeasure was enough to also get the message across to those not involved she wasn't one to complain about it. Although she still could feel a headache building up. She never had headaches when at home. At home there weren't so many people to be noisy, and since it was in the middle of the mountains there was less light for Akeya to hide from.

    The process of getting the passport was pretty simple and straightforward: State who you are, prove that you're a mage and thus eligible to receive a passport so you can accept jobs from outside Fiore, and then you're already done. Once she had her passport Akeya quickly walked away from the boot, heading straight towards the nearest road leading straight out of Rose Garden. As soon as she was back in the Blue Pegasus Grounds she was going to take a bath. At least while in a bath she shouldn't have to worry about people being noisy and smelly around her.
