The Sunny Tower of No Return (Deniel)

Not a whole lot to his surprise, the two mages in front of him had dodged Deniel's attack. They circled in on him from both sides and were moving incredibly fast. Deniel barely had time to tumble out of the way to dodge, but they were already going for another attack. Deniel had rolled in front of himself, and looked behind him to see that they were already coming in for another attack. A bit to Deniel's surprise, they were flying using their Sun Make magic. He didn't have any time to think about this, as they both hit him in his jaw with their fists coated in their magic. This attack sent Deniel flying, and he knew that in order to keep up with them, he needed his flight back. "Wings of the White Angel!"

The typical two glowing sky-blue magic circles appeared at Deniel's back, and moved up to the side to create his Wings of the White Angel. His Black Devil form didn't have these wings, but instead had a pair of its own wings. They looked like a fly's wings, being very thin and having some skin around them that served no purpose other than to cover them up when they weren't in use. In Deniel's hand was his Bow of the High Heavens, El'Druin. The Black Devil had a bow as well, which was somewhat of a relief.

Deniel took flight in mid-air to stop him being launched, and could already see his opponents performing another attack. They were charging up a Sun-Make spell to fire at Deniel, which he needed to dodge fast. With his new wings, that wouldn't be a problem.

Spells Used:

"If you have any darkness magic, it's best not to waste your breath with this!" The blue-eyed one shouted out at Deniel as they launched a gigantic fireball of their Sun Make magic together. Deniel smirked and came up with a way to counter this. It was risky, but it had to work. He knew that his Black Devil magic had nothing to do with darkness, and had more to do with Unholy Energy. He was only praying that he was right. Deniel flew straight towards the shot and readied two arrows in his bow, and so did The Black Devil. Right as soon as Deniel was about to take the hit, he used his Shield of the Black Devil spell from being able to mimic spells from his Black Devil form thanks to his Nephalem Take Over form that he was currently using.

In the perspective of his two opponents, Deniel was hit and most likely done for. "I'm surprised he made it this far if he was that easy to beat." He shrugged and turned away. "Think again!" Deniel shouted, flying straight through the blast. He was completely unharmed. Before they could react, Deniel shot both of his arrows at both opponents to make sure they weren't going to dodge it. In addition to Deniel's two shots, the Black Devil, wielding the bow as a ghost, shot at them as well, and each arrow landed at the exact same spot. Luckily for him, they couldn't dodge, and each attack hit his opponents in the stomach, but were far from done. They shook off his attack with ease and went in to attack Deniel once again. If it weren't for Deniel already flying, he wouldn't be able to dodge his attack. Because he had full control of his flight, he was able to change his directions right away and go the opposite direction to dodge their attack.

They were both amazed and surprised at his control. Deniel readied two more arrows and fired at them a second time. They dodged most of the attack, but were still hit, just not in the spot Deniel was aiming for. In addition, they were also hit by The Black Devil's arrows. They were hit in the arms instead of their chest, and the went separate ways to try and throw him off. "Damn it!"

Spells Used:

One of them came in for another attack at Deniel, and he managed to dodge his, but since the two weren't attacking at the same time anymore, he couldn't dodge the next attack that hit him in the back of the head. Deniel was flipped over while he was in the air, but he managed to fire another arrow at the one who attacked him, with it hitting in succession along with the Black Devil's arrow. "Damn! This guy's tougher than he looks." Deniel slid on the ground and recovered himself, and the two joined up with each other again. "Yea, you're right. Maybe if we take out that shadowy thing on his back....his attacks might not hurt anymore." His partner looked at him and nodded. "It's worth a shot. Let's go!"

Deniel and Nidhogg almost laughed when they mentioned trying to attack the phantom form of the Black Devil behind Deniel. Both Deniel and Nidhogg knew that The Black Devil couldn't be affected by any sort of attack. It was like it existed, but didn't exist at all. However, Deniel managed to fake it perfectly. "Damn it!" He said to himself, loud enough for them to hear. Deniel got down on one knee and readied two more arrows. Meanwhile, across the room, they readied another giant fireball attack, but were aiming it straight at The Black Devil. "Deniel, focus your magic energy in this next attack. Trust me." Deniel looked at his bow, not being entirely sure what he meant, but went for it anyway.

Deniel focused his magic power in his next attack, and suddenly, each arrow that he held became a bit larger, along with the ones that The Black Devil was stringing back. "Once we fire, dodge the arrows so they wont hit us." One of them whispered to the other, and the other one nodded. "Got it." Right as soon as they were about to launch the spell, Deniel fired both of his arrows right at them. To both of their surprises, the arrows hit them before they even knew it. Because Deniel focused his magic power in his arrows, they nearly broke the sound barrier in speed. In addition to Deniel's arrows, they were pierced by the Black Devil's arrow as well.

Spells Used:

Even though the arrows hurt like Hell, they didn't stop their attack. They launched the fireball anyway at Deniel, who was now vulnerable. Somewhat. He was, but his Black Devil ghost wasn't, and that is what they were aiming for. "Deniel, go for only one of them, and fire seven of those same arrows! That should finish him off!" Deniel nodded and did exactly as Nidhogg said. With both his wings being able to fly extremely fast, El'Druin giving him a speed boost, and his Wings giving him an additional speed boost, Deniel was right in front of them before they knew it. Deniel had charged up seven arrows in his bow while he was on his way over.

In addition, these arrows were all supercharged with his Magic Power, so they would be much more destructive than normal arrows. He aimed his volley of arrows at both of them instead of one, disobeying what Nidhogg told him to do. As a result, they had dodged a majority of the arrows, but were hit with four each. Counting the Black Devil ones. "Deniel! You didn't listen to me!" The two dodged out of the way from Deniel and both had kicked him in the back before he could react, sending him crashing into the wall. "He's strong." One of them admitted, and the other had nodded.

Deniel collided head-first with the wall, making him extremely dizzy once he got back on his feet, and he started to struggle just to stand. "Look at him," one of them laughed, "He can barely stand!" Deniel grabbed his head with his free hand, and so did his Black Devil form. "At least we know that annoying ghost behind him can't be damaged. Let's not make that same mistake twice."

Spells Used:

"Damn it....." Deniel said to himself over and over again, but that word didn't seem to be enough. "Chikushō......" That word seemed to fit perfectly as he struggled to maintain his balance. Chikushō, chikushō, chikushō, chikushō!" He said it over and over and over again and stared at his opponents. Their figures were blurred, and there seemed to be multiple ones of each of them. "Whatta' say we finish this guy off already?" "With pleasure." Both of them held out both of their hands and charged up another giant fireball. "Deniel! Hurry up and do something before you're done for! Come on, you're not going to fail a job now, are you!"

Deniel had absolutely no intention of failing this job, but he didn't know how to get himself out of this situation. He couldn't use another Twilight Mimic until another minute or so, and that left out his idea of ending this with his Shout of the Devil. He looked up to see them charging another giant fireball together once again, and thought that this was the end for him. Then...he suddenly realized something. Together. They had to charge the spell together!

Nidhogg was right with his strategy, and Deniel was wishing that he had listened to him earlier. His vision was still blurry, but he knew he could take the shot. He held up his arrow and charged up another group of seven charged arrows that would be triple the speed. Deniel held his bow side-ways to fool them into thinking he was most likely going to launch it at both of them, and Nidhogg took notice to it. "Deniel! Listen to me, damn it!" Deniel pulled his arrows as hard as he could on the string so they would have as much force as possible. "Shut up, Nidhogg. I know what I'm doing. Trust me."

Deniel spoke to him within his mind, and Nidhogg obeyed, staying silent. All he could do was trust Deniel. "AAAAAND.......FIRE-" As soon as the blue-eyed one said "Fire", Deniel did exactly as he said and turned his bow vertically. This way, fourteen entire arrows all supercharged to nearly break the sound barrier hit him while he was vulnerable and unable to dodge, plenty enough to make sure he wasn't getting out alive. Deniel's speculation was right, as both of them were needed to complete the spell. With only one person doing it, the power overloaded on one side, and because it was nearly complete, it already had a huge amount of power in it all.

The reaction was blowing up right in the other one's face.

Spells Used:

While one was dead, the other one was blasted to the other side of the room by his own spell. Deniel's vision had finally returned, and he was on his perfect balance again. Deniel flew over to the one who was dead, and picked up the body before it fell to the ground. Then, he flew over across the room to the one that was still alive, and grabbed him as well. Deniel turned his attention to the ceiling, holding both of them along with his bow, in each hand. "It's fifty floors up, and I wanna' get the hell out of here!" Deniel started to fly directly to the ceiling, with the one that was still alive also still conscious"H-Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing!?"

Deniel opened his mouth and used his Twilight Mimic spell while he was still in his form to Mimic his Shout of the Devil. A small magic circle appeared at Deniel's mouth, and out of it shot out a giant beam of Twilight Energy, crashing straight through the roof to the floor above them, and the roof of the tower itself. Deniel flew straight through the hole, canceling his shout early.

On floor fifty, the very last floor, Deniel finally found who he was looking for. There were two Fire Mages, looking just as strong as the other ones, and they were channeling something for a girl in the middle. She was trapped inside a sun-looking magic circle, and they were channeling beams of sun energy to her. They looked back at Deniel, and the first thing they saw where their two friends. Before they said anything, Deniel threw both of them into the two that were channeling the spell. "Take em'! I'm getting the hell outta' here!"

With both of them no longer channeling, the spell had immediately canceled itself, leaving the girl open. "Help me! Help me! Get me outta' here!" She pleaded to Deniel. He had every intention of doing so. He flew straight to her, avoiding the other two mages and grabbed her. Then, he flew up to the hole he made in the ceiling. "F-Finally! I'm free!" She cried out as Deniel started flying away from the tower.

Then, at the worst time ever possible, Deniel's wings timed out.

Spells Used:

Both Deniel and the girl started falling, with her in his grips. He didn't scream, but she was screaming at the top of her lungs and hitting him at the same time. "You idiot! I'm gonna' die! I'm gonna' diiiiieeeee!" Deniel only gripped her tighter, already knowing what to do. "Shut up and let me handle this!" Deniel focused his power to creating a new pair of wings, one he hadn't used in a long time. His Nephalem Wings. Out of his back sprouted two new pairs of black feathered wings, fitting his clothing and appearance much more. He stopped their fall and took flight, soaring through the air once again. She stopped screaming and looked down at the ground, a little happy that they were no longer falling. "Yaaaay! I'm not gonna' di-AAAAH! WHAT'S THAT!?"

She pointed up to the Ghost of the Black Devil that Deniel still had on, and instinctively, he deactivated it and pretended not to notice. "What's what?" He asked her, looking up behind himself. Nothing was there. "N-Nothing....ehehehe....." Deniel focused his attention on climbing, while she looked down at the view below them. "It's so beautiful." She said about the scene that separated Oak Town and The Mystic Tower. "By the way, who exactly are you!?" Deniel answered her, but was still paying attention to his flight. "My name's Deniel Thorman, and I was here to rescue you. Your parents sent out a notice and I took it!" He was speaking quite loud, making sure to yell over the wind that they were carrying. He wasn't moving as fast as his Wings of the White Angel could take him, but it was still pretty fast.

"Deniel, huh? You know, you're cute!" Deniel finally looked down at her to get a look at what she looked like, a small hint of red appearing on his face. She had long blonde hair, sky-blue eyes similar to his own, and was wearing a blue skirt that went down to her knees, as well as a blue long-sleeved shirt that matched. "Oh be quiet...." he only managed to say, still focusing on his flight.

Then, she suddenly made her way up from clinging on to him, to on his back. The sudden shift in weight caused him to lose control of his flight for a few seconds, but regained it. "What in the world are you doing!?" He called up to her, but didn't have much time to look back. "Look at me!" She called out, grabbing on to his wings like they were reigns. "I'm flying! Hahahaha!"


OOC: I'm not gonna' bother putting my spells in. The mission is pretty much over.

Deniel couldn't help but smile at her behavior, almost laughing. "I think this girl has found a soft spot on you, Deniel." Nidhogg spoke to him in his mind to make sure that the girl wouldn't hear them. "Well, I guess I might react in a positive way when I'm not being called creepy." He sarcastically retorted to Nidhogg, still focusing on his flight. Meanwhile, the girl on his back was having fun and laughing around. He was somewhat glad that she wasn't afraid of heights, or else this trip would have been a whole lot worse. For the first time, he was glad that he came to this job.

Eventually, he reached Oak Town in his flight, and he slowed his flight down so he could find her house once again. His eyes were scanning for it as he circle in the air. "Down there!" She pointed out to him, making him look at the direction she was pointing at. He saw her house and nodded at her. "Alright, lets go!" He dove straight down towards her house, making her laugh out and enjoy the ride some more. "Weeeeeee! Hahahah!" She called out before Deniel had finally landed.

With him on his feet once again, she was forced to cling on to his shoulders before she let herself down. "Thanks, Deniel that was fun! Heheheheh!" Deniel couldn't help but smile again and laugh with her. "Yeah, sure was!" This was one of the rare occasions that Deniel's somewhat childish and more humorous side came out. He walked up to the door, and in a few seconds, the man that he met earlier saw him. As soon as he saw his daughter, he pushed right past Deniel and hugged her. "Oh my sweet daughter! I thought we'd lost you forever! Deniel, here, for all of your trouble!" He turned to Deniel and pulled out a bag of jewels, handing it to him.

Deniel had completely forgotten to use his Eyes of the White Angel like he did earlier, so he saw the true color of his eyes. "P-please....take it....and....g-go. Now!" Deniel didn't get his behavior, but was guessing it was just because he was happy to see his daughter. Deniel took the bag of jewels and turned away, waving at him with a smile still on his face. "See you, then!" The man hurried his daughter inside, but she gave a bit of a protest as Deniel was walking away. "Daddy, he's cute! Can't he stay?" "No! Of course not, did you see his eyes!? They're hideous!

Just before he closed the door, Deniel looked back at them. The last thing he saw was her looking at him, and the last thing she saw were his read eyes, gritted teeth, and look of hatred and rage. "Huh?" She tilted her head at him, in confusion before the door shut. "Daddy, I think you made him angry." That was the last thing he heard, before there were just muffled noises. "Deniel....?" Nidhogg asked him, but a little hesitant. The last thing you do is talk to a person when they're angry. Deniel stared down at his hand. His eyes were glowing, and his hand was shaking with rage. "Mission.....complete!" He said, but he didn't sound too happy about it. He sounded vicious, full of rage and malice, and evil.
