"Sometimes I wonder what I would do without you," Odhran said with a smile, reclining upon the throne within the halls of Toltec.

"You probably would've already burned this place down," Arnaluuk replied, no enjoyment in her voice.

Odhran shrugged, finally removing himself from the chair within the throne room. "I feel like Tezcatlipoca is pretty good at preventing fires, personally. Him and Quetz should probably be fine to make sure there's not a massive fire. Plus, I don't even have any fire spirits! Silly Arnaluuk, don't you know your own allies?"

Arnaluuk rolled her eyes. She already knew that she had to effectively be the master of this guild with Odhran's... inconsistent competence, to put it lightly. Most likely she figured it would be some sort of "master by committee" between her and a few of the other Celestial Spirits in Odhran's employ.

But that did not matter to Odhran now. This tavern, this entire realm was suitable for him. As he stepped towards the walls of the throne room, they folded out, the wall extending and becoming a long staircase right to the edge of the Obsidian Mirror that led him into the Crossroads. In all honesty, Quetzalcoatl, the mysterious benefactor of this strange realm, had not fully explained to Odhran what everything was here, but it did not matter to the God of the Celestial Spirit Realm. What mattered was that the feathered serpent, this mysterious, deific being of untold strength, had granted Odhran access to the Crossroads and to Toltec. The other residents of the "city" of Toltec were all an interesting bunch as well, from what Odhran had done to meet them.

But now was the moment of importance. As soon as the hall was opened, Odhran knew what he had to do. This was his shot, this was his opportunity to become something the world could fear. The three "managers" of Toltec all had something in common: they wanted power. That was certainly something Odhran could relate to. He wanted power, and he already had some. But it could never hurt to have more, he thought. With Elysium having scattered to the wind following their questionably successful assault on Fairy Tail, Odhran had nothing until now. But with the power of the Obsidian Mirror, with the power of the plumed serpent, Odhran could seek that power. Not just for himself, but for all of those associated with him. As soon as he had found the Obsidian Mirror, he had sent a missive to his former guild master, Janet Cinderfeild, to meet him at the Drunken Monkey Tavern. After that, he had instructed Mammon and his Spirits to search for more people who would be willing to join. In truth, however they managed to hear the information, they would all be accepted and investigated by Maximon. Normal residents of the tavern, people called by this missive, everyone was accepted to join should Maximon determine they had what it took to be worthy of the guild.

Odhran stepped through the Mirror, arriving in the dank, musty cellar of the Drunken Monkey, stretching his arms. That throne was a bit too uncomfortable for his liking. He walked up the steps slowly, yawning. The tavern itself was much less populated than it normally was, which was saying something. Because of this special day for Odhran, Maximon had decided to employ a system of bouncers just for this one day. For people to even enter the tavern, they would need what was determined as a the proper devotion to the guild. After waiting a few more minutes, Odhran would fire a revolver in the air.

"People of the Drunken Monkey Tavern! I am glad that you have arrived! While I am certain that we will have people join in later, I am glad that we have you all here presently! All of you who are not normally patrons of this establishment have been called here because we know that you seek true power. Ultimate power, unlimited power, all of it. Truly, this is the main reason you are all here. You wish to become more powerful, to become kings and queens, gods, goddesses, and godthems of the world, no, the universe!" He snapped his fingers, his attire becoming a nice looking suit. "Of course, no offense to our lovely barkeep Maximon, but it is a little bit difficult to run a guild of this caliber from a place as small as this tavern. So once we have people ready, I will lead you all to the main guild hall!" He clapped his hands, waiting for the people to be ready to follow him towards the realm of the Crossroads.

Janet finally found where she heard the meeting place to be, as she landed in front of the bar and her black wings folded in she took a deep breath and sighed looking at the Drunken Monkey. it wasn't her kind of place, but then again she wasn't here to drink today. Janet walked in toward the end of his speech, into the Drunken Monkey. She removed her hood, no longer fearing people since she had the power to deal with them, she looked to Odharn and couldn't fight back the small smile on her lips. It seemed like only yesterday that she first met the man and while he could be a little, strange he has risen to become the leader of his own guild, She couldn't be prouder of the man, he would do great things in the future and Janet was happy to join the ride. However upon coming to many of the patron stared at her, was it due to her dragon like features on full display, or that she was a Warlord of Fiore. He heart raced for only a second as she took a nice deep breath and walked forward hoping people would just return to there drinks, She would deal with them later. She walked and Stopped in front of Odharn and gave a smile and a nod.

She would observe him for a second and give a small chuckle, before tucking a locke of black hair behind her ear and speaking. "Hello Odharn, and congratulations, I heard the news and came as soon as I could." She Spoke with Sincerity truly being proud of him. She stood there her tail swaying back and forth, the newest feature being a katana attached to her belt as she waited for his response, one she hoped would be a pleasant one.

Whispers on the wind. Strange spirits' talk. All of it had intrigued Aki, at least temporarily, when he first heard that there was a guild, a group that could lift its members to godhood. Aki had a bone to pick with gods and deities of all natures, but becoming one was still appealing. Thus he had followed the trail of tidbits of information which had led him here. To the Drunken Monkey Tavern, a fairly homely place all things considered. While Aki was completely a person to judge a book by its cover, he knew often doing so could misconstrue the true potential of said person or thing. In any event, now that he was here, he had to find a way to get inside. The process was annoying, but finally Aki settled down on the edge of the room, his back to the wall as he observed the scene.

Power. That was a finnicky thing, wasn't it? Aki made no effort to hide his mirth as this man began to prattle on and on. Sure, he had heeded the summons to this location because the concept of power interested him. How could it not? Such a promise of endless ability and potential would lure him regardless of its source. Right now, he might not fully respect this strange soul and his gunshot in the air, but he would play a bit of the patience game. Not much though. Aki could only be kept waiting for so long in suspense before he moved on to something else more worth his time. Delayed gratification was, to put it shortly, a scam in most situations. Since Aki had dealt with the barriers to entry (read: the bouncers or guards) fine enough and been permitted to attend this meeting of sorts, he was halfway committed to whatever it was. Unless it ended up being rubbish and a waste of time.

Crossing his arms, his eyes flickered across the room as a vaguely draconic woman approached the man, who now appeared to be dressed in a modern suit. Tacky, but Aki honestly didn't care. His attire was probably horrendous by modern standards, but the standards were always changing and he had no intention of changing with them. Odhran... so that was probably his name. Shrugging to himself, Aki decided to wait for the procession to begin moving to wherever he indicated the hall was. Aki had no intention of being the first through the gates, so to speak. There was no telling what awaited them. Knowing that they had already been tested once on their "devotion," he felt as though numerous other trials could still be yet to come.

Sat at one of the tables at the back of the tavern, Elara had listened quite keenly to what the man had been saying although she wasn’t sure just how much of it was true and how much was overkill. The power to become gods? Was that even feasible? She didn’t know but the thought was enough to capture her interest nonetheless. There were tasks that needed doing and the young summoner was rather eager to start getting things into motion. Taurus had made it perfectly clear to her that her summons respected power above all else and Elara knew that if she showed any sign of weakness, then they might just turn upon her. Anything was possible with her group of minions and the black haired girl was under no illusions. She’d have to be tough to keep them under her control which was precisely the impression that she tried to display.

“What do you think, Taurus?” She asked telepathically, her lips unmoving.

“I think that he should stop talking and prove just how godly he truly is.” The voice, deep and powerful, rumbled in the girl’s mind, seemingly unimpressed. It was sometimes difficult for Elara to tell just which summon was talking to her but this was clearly the alpha female. “He speaks of power but I wonder just how much he truly knows about the subject. Should I make an appearance and test him?”

“No,” Elara replied, “I don’t think so. We should hang around for a while and see what we can learn. We can’t just wander alone forever, Taurus. If this guy knows of a sure way to power then we should at least join his band for a little while and see it for ourselves. We can always simply leave later, should things go wrong.”

“If they refuse to let you leave?” Came the stern reply.

“Then you and the others will have all the fun you want because I’m not going to exchange one prison for another.” The girl grimly responded.

“Fine. We will play it your way but be careful, Elara, for people who band together for the sake of power will end up eating each other in order to get it.”

With that, the voice left the girl’s mind, giving the green eyed girl plenty to think about. When the pale figure stood up and started to walk off towards the guild hall, Elara pondered for a moment, before standing up and following him. She couldn’t have cared less about her being the first to follow would appear in the eyes of others. Power was what she sought, not the approval of a bunch of edgelords. She’d already received a few funny looks from the patrons although whether that was because of her young age or her punkish look, Elara didn’t know or honestly care. If they had a problem with her, then she’d set her spirits upon them, most of which were just dying for the chance to shed a little blood.

"Hm," the soft voice of the white witch would delicately flow from her lips as she would witness the materialization of a shaggy tavern upon the horizon's depths, "this place, it's... hm," Led to the dilapidated shanty by a spirit that was in search of those looking to attain ultimate power, Waverly and her celestial spirits had a much different idea of what guise this gathering place would take- they were under the impression that they would be headed to a place of unfathomable ethereality and divinity, but the architecture that would manifest upon the horizon would not be of such proportions. Twirling her keyring around her finger as she would near closer and closer to the entrance of the grotesque building, the fragrant aroma of alcohol and funky smells would slowly linger into the air around her. It smelled exactly how one would imagine a dilapidated place to delve into one's vices; a bit of a disgusted look would appear upon her face in the form of a frown and squint, and though it did not take long for her nose to get used to the smell, it definitely did the job of making her stomach churn. As for the zodiac celestial that would guide the floating throne that the disabled girl would sit upon, which would look to be made entirely of soft, fluffy white clouds, she would smile as she would pull it by an invisible rope of magical power. It was as if Aquarius was the witch's own personal wheelchair, allowing her partially-paralyzed legs to take a break from the struggle that is walking with a cane.

Walking through the crude door that led into the main corridor of the establishment after being evaluated for their devotion to the cause, the celestial spirit would gasp as she would take a look at her surroundings- inside appeared to not only be Taurus but the celestial spirit god Odhran Aegisbane in his prime. The celestial witch's savior from the fairies that had tried to steal her soul, her hero, upon adjusting her gaze to marvel upon the talking individual Waverly would feel tears of joy form upon the corners of her eyes. Even though she had not known his name, she knew exactly what he was capable of.. she owed him everything in her existence now that she had been freed from the shackles of the Falina. Despite how he would most likely be unaware of what he had done when he had destroyed the ancient civilization of the dark fairies, she would never forget the divinity her soul had witnessed that day within her bondage.

"I.. what have I done to deserve to stand in the presence of my lord, my savior? It... it's a dream come true, right from the heavens above," she would speak to herself quietly as she would set aside her set of keys beside her on her floating cloud couch, lowering her head and clasping her hands together in prayer. It was a miracle, and it all made sense now to the white-haired girl of golden optics. The spirit that had guided her to come to the Drunken Monkey Tavern must have been the messenger of the god she had devoted her worship to, seeking out those that were his followers and those of similar likeness. The feeling of a thousand fluttering golden butterflies would manifest in her stomach, causing every opinion she had once held to the place she had arrived within to cease into nothingness- she now felt like she was exactly where she was supposed to be, almost as if it was her destiny to be in this ragged tavern. She could not believe it- the tears that would fall from her face would soak into the lower parts of her silk white dress that covered the upper parts of her thighs as she would listen to him speak, her ears soaking in every word that Odhran would exclaim. As for the celestial summon that accompanied Waverly to this place, she would stand awkwardly as ever as she would listen to Odhran's words, nodding her head in respect and understanding.

"I will follow behind you in all of your endeavors, my God," Waverly would wipe away the waterworks that would cascade down her rosy cheeks with a handkerchief of white color, finally looking up to bask in the glory that was her savior's mere existence, "I am ready, I have been ready for this ever since you saved me from the everlasting night!" Her eyes would appear ridden with awe as she would look up to her god- she would do whatever he asked of her, her heart fluttering in resonance with the sheer magical power she could feel radiating outward from the ran-down tavern. It was all so surreal.

    Unlimited Power YuriYuliHeaders

What a disgusting rabble this was.

Yurielle had expected more, so much more when she followed that interesting little trail. It was putting things into perspective, the girl having not really expected much, and yet, she still found herself disappointed. The intriguing promise of Apotheosis had brought her here, her sister, naturally, following suit.

The power to ascend to godhood. It was a promise almost too good to be true, and more often than not, it was. Charlatans, cultists, and fanatics alike tended to spout promises of the divine without anything to back up their claims, all of them meeting the same fate after trifling with the deFleur twins, but today was different. Not in a good sense. The trail of information had led straight to this place, this run-down, filthy heap of trash, rats scurrying about in an attempt to sniff out any kind of opportunity to feast upon. Was this really supposed to be an establishment known for its entertainment value? Despicable, truly. What one wouldn't do for the prospect of power. "Shall we enter, or what?". Yuliana's voice was impatient, the young woman standing before a bouncer, her head turned to Yurielle with expression twisted into a gleeful grin. The bouncer was a good foot taller than her, eyeing her with suspicion, his arms crossed. The man was burly, the jacket barely hiding the bulging muscle underneath. Yurielle sighed, light, graceful steps carrying her closer to her sister without paying the man blocking the entryway to the tavern any mind whatsoever, instead replying to Yuliana with a dejected tone. "What choice do we have, sister?".

Ignoring him, after all, was as accommodating as the girl was willing to be. Any other option wouldn't be quite so pleasant for the other. Still, it seemed the man had not realized that, a vein visibly bulging on his forehead as he began to speak, well, shout rather, his voice distinctly annoyed. "How many times do I gotta tell ya, little girl? This is a tavern and not a playground. Piss off before I-".

His breath froze within his throat, the man's tirade suddenly cut off by a sickly gurgle. Yurielle had raised her gaze, her eyes, those deeply ice-blue orbs that seemed to radiate a mysterious power meeting his for just a mere moment, but it had been enough for her magic to take hold. "P-please", the man managed to choke out, stumbling back in confusion and shock. His neck felt as though grasped by a hand of an ungodly strength, trachea sealed shut by the sheer force of its pressure. A burning pain, the stabs of a thousand knives shot from his chest through his entire body. Instinctively he knew that it was the girl's doing. It had been those eyes, those mysterious oculi seeming to stare right through him. With the last of his breath, he managed to force a weak whisper from his lips before his back hit the doorframe behind him, the bouncer sinking to his knees. "Ah- ... p-please ... forgive- ... me ...".

This display, pitiful as it was, appeared to soothe the girl's anger, the grip around the man's throat, along with the pain in his chest, vanishing from one instance to the next, the bouncer taking a deep, audible breath before falling into a fit of coughing. Yurielle wouldn't grant him the honor of a second gaze, simply directing her frigid gaze towards the doorway before her, following her sister inside, though her icy words she spoke in that moment would seem to echo within the man's mind for some time to come.

    "Know your place, vermin"

    -----

What awaited the two inside was, arguably, worse than the sight of the building from the outside. The room, crammed full of people, reeked of cheap alcohol and bodies, Yuliana visibly furrowing her brows in an expression of disgust as she entered. Her sister followed closely behind her, Yurielle's face, in contrast to her twin's, remaining stoic and unmoving, though she shared her sister's impression. "And you are certain that there is power to be found here, oh dearest sister?", Yuli's voice echoed through Yuri's mind, the latter responding in a similar fashion. "No, and yet, at times you are forced to gamble to win, wouldn't you agree?". Yuliana had expected an answer such as this one. It was an answer designed to perfectly placate her, betting on Yuliana's curiosity and stubbornness to press on. The girl had realized this, of course, though she couldn't help but smirk. This, in the end, would mean that Yurielle was also at least somewhat curious. Still, the ensemble gathered here couldn't be any less impressive. The two did not take seats, instead confining themselves to a corner away from the other patrons, lest their clothing would be stained by the filth around them. It was bad enough that they had to breathe the same air as these appalling rats, but it couldn't be changed if the scene before them was to be witnessed to its conclusion.

A man was in the middle of a seemingly passionate speech, his voice as annoying as he appeared delusional, not to mention what appeared to be a filthy half-breed that tried to butter him up. These two, to Yurielle and Yuliana, who valued strength above all else, seemed to be the only ones of note in this shithole, if only barely. The rest were, much like the man encountered not long ago, vermin, and thus safely ignored. Still, the twins agreed, the delusional boy used some pretty big words for a maggot such as himself.

"The power to become gods, hm?", Yuliana asked telepathically, her golden eyes shooting her sister a glance, the girl returning it in kind with her ice-blue oculi. "The kid's got a loud mouth, doesn't he? You think he means it?". "Perhaps there is something to his words. If not, well ...", Yurielle's voice paused briefly before the words would echo through her twin's mind once more, "... you may punish them all for wasting our time, dear sister. Until then, let's play along and see where exactly this ... "party" will get us". The word was spoken with barely masked and contemptuous sarcasm. Yuliana grinned, her eyes shining with anticipation and excitement. "You got it".

Odhran blushed a little as his former guildmaster heeded his summons, but after a moment reading the room, he smiled, opening his arms. "Very well, I believe we have enough people for our first tour. Maximon, if any other patrons of interest come by, direct them to the Mirror, I will inform Tez to get some other tour guides prepared." The strangely doll like bartender gave a curt nod as Odhran made his way down, beckoning these people to follow him.

"A place such as this is certainly a meager cover for a guild of our intentions," Odhran explained, heading to the staff only areas of the tavern. Were this a normal tavern, the infrastructure of this place would render it out of business immediately comparative to its patronage. Odhran, alongside his new compatriots, his new guildmates, would walk through a cramped, yet very densely packed kitchen. At a distance, the workers bustling through would, in their haste, appear like normal humans. However, this close, they neither looked nor smelled human. A creature blinked the eyes upon its elbows at the sight of Janet, a tall, lanky one slightly brushed into the only male of any real note within the group, the lanky one's arm dissipating into sand, reforming upon passing the rest of the group. "I've heard Maximon's been trying to make this place a franchise, but apparently finding Mirrors is a difficult thing." Odhran shrugged, reaching a large, thick door of dark brown oak, metal lining its outside. "Upon joining Plumed Serpent, this is one of the most important doors you will ever find, so remember it well."

Odhran applied a little bit of pressure to the oak door, it creaking loudly as all of the kitchenhands' heads turned towards the group of what would essentially appear to be tourists, sightseeing a guided tour by the former Ace of Creation. After a moment of silence and Odhran's nonchalant walking down the steps, all of the heads snapped back to work in a single simultaneous instance, all of them continuing their work as if nothing had happened. "Now, now, all of you follow me!" Odhran beckoned, heading down the loud, creaking steps. The wooden steps gave way to a stone brick floor of the cellar, the smell of various woods swirling into the nostrils of those who could recognize it, followed moments later by various liquors of various types, each keg, each barrel holding a brew of some time. A large, lumbering, toad like creature peered its head over the tall stacks of barrels, gazing at the party of travelers in its lair before carefully pulling out a barrel of finely aged whiskey from the rack, easily carrying it underneath its arm alongside another four barrels of alcohol. Odhran brushed this off, a normal sight for him at this point. The room soon came to an end, this large cellar ending in an imposing, massive door of a strange, glimmering purple. A symbol reminiscent of a snake circling its own tail was plastered upon the door.

Odhran spun on his heel, turning to his group. "This is the real most important door. Before you stands the final gate of Plumed Serpent, the gates that lead you towards your infinite power. But you didn't come for a tour of this wonderful establishment, you want to see how we get this power, don't you?" He looked around, wondering if anyone actually did want to see his tour, because he certainly knew he was capable. He pointed at a man with a thick mustache in the back. "Alright I'll give you the tour of the tavern in a bit. First things first..." he casually knocked on the purple door behind him twice. A second passed. Two. Three. Finally, the symbol of the snake glimmered and shone a bright jade color, clashing horribly against the purple door. The sounds of gears creaked and moan, grating against the ears of all of those in the group. The sound was deafening, too loud to even hear the voice of the person next to you were they not yelling. The toad peered its head around the row of barrels on the far end of the room from the massive door. Odhran waited a few more moments. After a minute of the gears cranking and turning, a click was heard and a silence hushed across the entire room. A few more moments of silence crept over the room. Finally, a loud hiss emerged from the door as it peeled away from reality, some parts merely opening to give way before unceremoniously fading from existence, some warping from reality in the blink of an eye, some burning away, some folding it on itself, and all other manner of things that Odhran did not at this particular instance of opening the door recognize. "Oh, for the record, you don't have to do this every time. Once you're fully admitted into the guild you can just walk through. Like, literally through. The door is incorporeal. Pretty nifty, huh?"

Odhran did not wait for the response as he walked into the room hidden behind the door. All that lay behind it was an empty room, massive in size and perfectly square. The grey stone brick lined the walls and floors, the almost uncanny normalcy of the room drawing attention to the one thing of note. Within the center of the room sat a massive circle of black glass, held by wood, forty feet in diameter. Odhran smiled. "This is the most important door you guys will deal with." he said, walking into the mirror.

Odhran would wait for the entire party to enter the mirror before he began speaking anew. He opened his arms, letting them all see the land around them. At every instance, something new was shifting. The ground beneath them was a cobblestone path, patches of flowery grass poking between the cracks in this road, which ended a mere few feet ahead of Odhran. Deep in the distance behind him, a city of brown and red brick buildings shimmered and gleamed, wavering as if in some sort of wind from this distance. Looking around, there would be other mirrors similar to the one the group had just emerged from, each with a complete road from it, leading straight to this city. Islands in the sky would float by, crashing into each other and completely changing their form, birds would suddenly transform into snake like dragons, and if anyone were to look above them, they would see strange beings walking upside down, upon the air, floating. An ethereal, shapeless orb of light would touch down beside them, flashing brightly into the eye of one of the ones that appeared to be a twin before vanishing. As a human like entity walked seemingly in their direction, the path extending before him as he walked, it would suddenly make a sheer drop down, a perfectly vertical line which the entity stuck to perfectly, walking down.

A rumbling shook the ground beneath their feet, the mirror disappearing in a flush of smoke and dust and mist. In its place stood a massive jaguar, some fifteen feet tall as its length dissipated into the ether. It sniffed around, glaring at everyone. "You are the ones who seek power?" it growled wordlessly, the sound booming loudly within the minds of everyone.

Odhran nodded. "Yep! These are the folks that have accepted the summons for now, Tez!"

The jaguar scanned the crowd, its eyes catching the child. "I... see. Even little ones seek power?" It sauntered forwards, its form seemlessly shifting to reach an eye level with the black haired child. "Power is no toy, child. You will kill. You will maim. You will loot. You will experience pain. All for power." The jaguar waited a moment in case there would be a response before doubling back on itself, seemingly walking through its own body. It grew back to its original size, scanning the area once more. "Indeed, that is true for all of you. You will gain power by all means. That is your reason for coming to the Crossroads. Destroy all those who oppose you. Be they man or woman, adult or child, human or fae-" he knowingly looked at the witch. "-master or servant-" now at a twin. "innocent or guilty, passive or aggresive. All will fall to you should you bid it."

The booming voice subsided, Odhran waiting a moment before piping in. "Well, Tez here ruined my climactic line. Oh, right. That's Tezcatlipoca. I just call him Tez. Don't worry, this is just how he acts when I'm here and how he sounds when I'm here. If you wanna talk to him in your own time, he'll work with you. Anyways, as Tez so rudely interrupted me, welcome to the Crossroads!"

The black haired girl was not impressed by the jaguar at all as it got in her face and a frown soon formed across her youthful features. The beast was just as arrogant as the speech giving leader of the guild and Elara was not prepared at all to simply take the animal’s comments towards her. Her teeth clenched as she spoke. “I know damn well that power is no toy and what I choose to do with it is none of your business. I’ll do whatever I need to do in order to become stronger and if you don’t believe me then maybe you’ll believe this.”

Wordlessly, she tapped into her powers of telepathy and spoke to the large Zodiac spirit standing beside her. “Taurus. Kill him.” Her mental tone was cold and hard, containing all of the loathing that she already had for the pain in the ass that was standing in front of her. She had honestly not paid much attention to the others who were also in the group and frankly, she didn’t care all that much. The words that her spirit had uttered previously were still ringing in her ears. They could well betray her when things got tough and she wasn’t going to be caught with her skirt down. No, she’d be ready if things came to that.

The Zodiac spirit would laugh, her beautifully muscular form rippling as she drew her axe and swung it towards the jaguar, putting her full strength behind the blow, the axe shimmering with magical power as it hurtled towards the beast. Elara honestly had no idea about just how strong this creature was but if it couldn’t take a shot from Taurus then he definitely wasn’t worth listening too. The girl knew that she would be following a dark path in order to achieve the power she craved and that was fine with her. That knowledge was what had brought her here in the first place. Her young age was an advantage not a curse and it simply gave her more time to spend honing her craft and taking what she so sorely craved.

Regardless of whether the attack of her spirit was successful or not, she’d utter coldly. “I trust that I’ve proven my point about how serious I am. If anyone gets in my way then Taurus here will stick her axe right up their ass and out the other end.” Once she’d spoken, the Pergrande native would step back, allowing the others or the white haired guildmaster another chance to speak. The bull would follow suit, amused by the whole affair and pleased to have been given the chance to lunge at the irritating beast. Her summoner had promised her all the carnage and blood that she could imagine and she was absolutely holding Elara to that promise. Not that she had anything to worry about, as there were going to be more than enough victims for the axe wielder to get her blade into.

Levitating upon the floating couch of clouds that resonated with the brightest of the clouds upon daybreak, the witch would clasp her hands together to gain stability while also functioning in a state similar to prayer, following her god through the various mundane and magical doorways of the tavern. Every word he spoke to the group of mages as he would speak would make sense more than anything else she had ever witnessed within her life- she was ridden within a state of awe whilst thinking of how each individual that followed behind Odhran must have been specially chosen to withhold the destiny of what seemed to be a new guild at bloom, just as she felt as though she was. A guild under the command of the individual that saved her soul from the darkest of fairies that sulked through the depths of the night, the ultimate savior.. it was all too good to be true, almost as if it was a miracle! "Someone pinch me," the white-haired summoner would mutter under her breath as her eyes would stay focused on the changes of scenery that would manifest before her within a bright gaze, keeping her focus on the manifestations of the crossroads that would soon appear. The celestial of the zodiac that led the way of the bundle of clouds would near closer to her commandress to give her a playful pinch, but wouldn't dare to get too close to actually do so. Waverly and Aquarius weren't that close just yet- it had only been a few weeks since she had begun to fulfill her contract, after all.

Within the crossroads, the fluffy magical manifestations of the zodiac's clouds would begin to billow out a bit farther now that the space that they were in was a bit more open, allowing there to be enough room for Aquarius to hop on in addition to her already sitting master. A loud, high-pitched squeal would be followed by a high jump of the celestial nun- she would sink into the edge of the floating couch of clouds, still keeping a bit of a distance between her and Waverly while she would do so. Luckily, it would be just as easy for her to allow the mass of white fluff to advance farther down the path while sitting as it would be if she would pull it by threads of magical air, so she could finally relax from the long walk to the tavern too. A faint meow would also manifest from within the cloud, which would go unnoticed by the celestial summoner- her summoner was still unaware of the small kitten she had been bringing with her within the folds of the cloud couch's thick pillows, there just hadn't been the right moment to tell her recently! While Aquarius was the nun of the zodiac keys, she was not used to the amount of devoted worship she had begun to witness while accompanying the witch within her many endeavors in earthland, so she just had to bring her newborn zodiac kitty with her to keep her company. It was quite strange how Waverly had yet to acknowledge its existence, let alone even realize that there was a third within their couch's folds.. she must have had better things to worry about, such as following the footsteps of her savior within her every move.

From the twisted reality of the crossroads would soon manifest a being the resembled a Jaguar, which would begin to speak of what the ones that would seek out the power would need to expect within their eternal quest- they were introduced under the name of Tezcatlipoca, a name that she would appear to also take great note of. However, her starry eyes would appear to somewhat droop upon his direct mention of the fae, the umbrella term for the fairies that had stolen her soul from so long ago.. she held a certain disgust for their species, which stemmed from a slight fear of what had happened. But she knew that she would bring excrement and death to the rest of them, just as Odhran did the Falina- it would just take time and power, which she would be able to finally achieve within the ranks of Plumed Serpent. "Tch," Waverly would make a noise of a bit of a sly manifestation of disgust, glancing toward the raven-haired girl that appeared to also hold what resembled a zodiac celestial contract dear to her magic as well- the animalistic beast seemed to judge the girl's abilities strictly by her appearance and apparent age, which would allow the white witch to slightly begin to grin as she would watch Elara take on the stranger out of anger. It would be unclear to her whether or not he would succumb to a fatal or non-fatal wound from the attack of Taurus, but it felt slightly good to the religious girl to watch someone else give the audacious spirit the treatment she also felt as though he deserved- she would seem to commend the fellow celestial summoner for sticking so firmly to her beliefs and abilities. It was admirable to Waverly to be able to witness such magical potential from someone of such a young age, it was what she wished for when she was in her adolescence- she would look forward to potentially working with the fellow summoner in the future, a feeling that was rare for Waverly. In the name of her god and the shackles of the fairies she had been freed from, she preferred to work alone with her summons.

"I feel the same.. anyone that gets in the way of either me or my God, well," the white witch would appear to look up at Odhran with vibrant golden eyes, her cheeks appearing to become a bit rosy as she would begin to speak farther in confidence and awe, spinning the golden keyring of her celestials around her fingers, "I will not hesitate to destroy them in the name of your holiness, God- they will regret standing in our way, they will crumble at our feet! I will not fail you, my savior, I will never!"

If he was being honest with himself, Aki was already a bit bored with this situation. The white haired witch seemed like a sickly sycophant, and he already tired of her nonsense. For now, he would just be a follower. As strange as it might have seemed, Aki could occasionally be a bit of an airhead. He hated thinking things through and doing all of the mental gymnastics that was required to sustain both morals and healthy relationships and interactions with others. It was much simpler to just go about life picking fights and succumbing to others' willpower as he pleased or saw fit.

For those justifications in his head, Aki pulled out a small carton of dumplings and pried it open. Popping one into his mouth, he chomped on it with his mouth open, absolutely out of it. It seemed like somebody was getting killed at the moment, with a knife blow of all things. Dinner time entertainment. Nice. He probably should stop meandering about and go be a good follower, or else he'd be stuck here all night. Not nice.

His feet slowly moved, silent as he continued to follow their leader through the many doors they passed through. Here was a kitchen, there was a bunch of kitchen dwellers. Whatever they were called. Now a dark wooden door. Eyeing it with a scrutinizing expression, Aki kept his mouth shut except to cram another dumpling inside. He tugged his greasy fingers through his hair without a care in the world, fingers twitching impatiently as the general group began to descend the steps. The sycophant was currently making another pledge, calling the man her savior and holiness and all sorts of bull. Moving on, moving on. Aki rolled his eyes and pulled a bottle of wine out of seemingly nowhere. Uncorking it easily, he took a swig before stowing it back away. He would probably need more to make it through this dry lecture hall without spearing somebody's heart out.

Jaguar. Big jaguar. That was all Aki's mind could register as his mouth chomped mindlessly down on the never ending supply of dumplings. Damn, these really were good. He'd have to go acquire more at some point, but not tonight. Nah, his schedule was filled with... sheesh, was that jaguar phasing through itself? Mildly intrigued, Aki leaned forward as if watching an action scene in a movie. He hated those movies. It wasn't surprising when he lost interest quickly enough again, only barely catching what the jaguar, Tez, was saying about crossroads. Right, right. They were at the crossroads now. So where was that power at? Oh, was that another death he spotted... this time an axe blow. Quite cool swing, if he was gonna take points off for something it would be a little difficult to find da flaw.

Odhran looked on with a sense of... pride? Shock? He was not sure what he was feeling when he saw the Zodiac Spirit slice off the head of Tezcatlipoca. The summoner called forth that she was ready to kick some ass or something, Odhran was not really paying attention. Of course, he knew that Tez was fine. His three extra days in the Crossroads meant that he knew everything about it.

Sure enough, within a matter of seconds, Tezcatlipoca's head had reformed, shifting and swaying in a sense of illusion. "Hmph. I see that you most certainly are willing to do what it takes for ultimate power." The jaguar bowed his graceful head. "If you have questions, please ask. I will do my best to answer." Once more, Tezcatlipoca walked in on himself, shimmering and fading until he was gone and the group was simply waiting on this small floating isle in the endless expanse of the Crossroads.

"Well, that was certainly fun! Everyone, give it up for Tezcatlipoca!" Odhran clapped once before turning on his heel and walking right off of the island, a cobblestone path forming beneath his feet. "I sent the message of the Plumed Serpent out for one reason and one reason alone. The world, as I see it, is governed by weaklings. Well, the world most of us come from, the one with Earthland and Fiore and all those other unimportant places sure, but all worlds are governed by the weak. As what's her face pointed out-" he lazily motioned to the witch. "-I am a god. Usually I like the term 'God of the Celestial Spirit Realm,' so no doubt you've heard of me, all you Celestial Spirit Summoners. But beyond just my unimaginable grasp, my complete stranglehold on the whims of the Celestial Spirit Realm - please, don't worry about any rumors that the King took Scorpio away, Scorpio is merely on holiday - I am a god of reality. My founding of the Crossroads is proof enough, isn't it? Founding? Finding? Ah, whatever. Arnaluuk tells me there's a big difference but it doesn't really matter what that difference is. But I'm a generous god, and I am more than willing to help others achieve divinity. There's all these so called Gods of Ishgar walking about, acting like they own the place, but they're gods in name only." He turned on a dime, facing towards the group as they seemed to not make any progress towards the castle in the center. "So! First rule of Plumed Serpent! There aren't really any rules! Do whatever you want! Just as long as you're benefitting from it or others are... uh... anti benefitting? from it, it still goes. I've got wonderful assistants to help me out for anything you want. Need help summoning? Gotcha covered. Want to make... what was it that people were saying? Fat stacks? Stonks? Something like that, I dunno, point is if you want to make money we have you just the guy. Or girl. Depends on the day, honestly. Want to completely ruin the natural order of the world with machines? We have a Gary! Gary's great, you're gonna love him. If there's something else, I'm sure I could chat with Q and get them set up. Point is, there's not really anything you're not allowed to do. I still don't really understand how the Crossroads work, but apparently if you mean ill will towards the guild, you get booted out of the Crossroads immediately or something. Though Q was very insistent in saying that it was ill will to the guild, and he kept saying something about not really caring for the individual members? I dunno, something about some really chaotic ladders. It's weird because we don't even need ladders here, you just walk everywhere. Or teleport. Oh yeah, you all are probably tired of walking by now, huh?" He shrugged, and the road beneath their feet seamlessly lurched over to connect with the castle in the center of this strange realm. "Welcome to Toltec! This is our de facto HQ within Plumed Serpent. Make yourselves a home. It's way easier than you think. Wait, no. It's literally just thinking. I think. Look, I don't understand this place but we'll be fine. Anyways, before we head inside, any questions?" He clasped his hands together and looked out towards the sea of new guild members, as if he were a teacher leading a field trip, uncaring about the dangers of the group of people he was to lead.

    Unlimited Power YuriYuliHeaders

It seemed that the maggot was done making his grand introduction. It had taken him long enough. They would finally be able to leave this dump to move on to more impressive business, at least, so Yurielle hoped, Yuliana much sharing her twin sister's thoughts. If they wouldn't, after all, it would mean that their time had been unmistakably wasted, in such a crude manner, no less. Yurielle considered that, if that would be the case, she'd let Yuliana turn them all into smears of blood and minced meat, though, unfortunately, before she could notify the other girl about the amusing thought that passed through her mind, the particularly talkative little rodent who fancied himself the leader of this ensemble of rats. The two shared the opinion that the way they scurried about was even more appalling, Yuliana immediately feeling the urge to cleanse this place with a flood of fire to get rid of the chill of sheer disgust running down her spine, though she suppressed the impulse when her sister softly raised a hand, Yurielle's ice-blue oculi seeming to pierce right through her as she glanced over her shoulder, prompting Yuliana to nod wordlessly. "Fine", echoed back the annoyed reply to the gesture, one twin following the other. "Guess I'll restrain myself for a little while longer".

First Yurielle, in a stride that was calm and graceful, then Yuliana, her steps aggressive and uncaring, would make their way along with the group, forming the rear of the small crowd of people finding their way into what appeared like a kitchen. How utterly distasteful. Yurielle knew what her sister was thinking. She thought the same thing, after all. "Bear with it for just a little longer", the Icestorm Witch spoke to her twin, not sparing a glance at their surroundings, following the others at an even, unchanging pace while Yuliana glared at the kitchen staff, people that, in her eyes, were worth little more than a particularly off-putting kind of insect.

It only got worse after that. Apparently, the particularly talkative rodent led them into a cellar, the only thing that made a real impression on the two being the especially offensive scent of damp earth and milldew, though this would quickly change once they would halt by the large door at the other end of this storage space. Yurielle kept about her the stoic expression she always more, an unchanging, unmoving mask of emotionlessness, though her sister, visibly bored, feigned a theatrical yawn, barely even glancing when the previously closed gate opened in an over-the-top fashion that was childish more than anything else. This, however, would quickly fade into a look of annoyance as all the door revealed was empty space ... and yet another door. How many doors would this babbling idiot make them go through until he could finally produce something of any value? Still, this device of his, this ... mirror, it seemed to be the thing that he had tried to so grandly reveal to them, one of the little insects practically squirming in glee when the world at the other side of this portal revealed itself.

Yuliana glanced around, her expression very much conveying her "is this it?" attitude, and even Yurielle's stoic facade would be broken by a parting of her lips, a faint, soft sigh escaping her. "Seems like you were right, after all. This has been a thorough waste of time", it would echo in Yuliana's mind. "Yeah, seems like", the somewhat dejected voice would reply in Yurielle's mind, the Flareblaze Witch considering obliterating the annoying little speck of light that had floated down next to her with a flick of her wrist, but before she could act on that thought, the thing was already gone. What an irritating place this was. Unrefined, unstable, and utterly senseless. It lacked any and all beauty. "Want me to blow this place sky-high?". A mischievous grin twisted Yuliana's lips. "Wait-", her sister began, watching the display before her unfold with the faintest trace of a smirk, "-looks like things are finally starting to get interesting". Yuliana, turning her eyes towards her sister, would find soon find herself entertained, as well, one of the gracelessly disfigured creatures of this realm being decapitated by one from among the little herd of vermin. Blood soon sprayed as the thing's head was severed, only for it to grow back moments later, the creature behaving as if nothing at all had occurred. Yuliana whistled, a mumble disturbing her grin of glee. "Finally, some action".

Her sister, however, seemed fixed on something else, listening to the talkative rat talk even more. It seemed like there would be no end to his rambling at this rate, Yurielle figuring that this lowly form of existence was not only delusional, but also completely deranged, which was why she, of course, would speak up when the rat finally seemed ready for some conversation in place of his usual unbearably long-winded monologue. The girl's voice was soft, calm in a way that mirrored her unmoving expression, monotonous, yet burdened with a heavy, unsettling feeling, a hint of something far darker than it seemed underneath.

"You claim to be a god, do you not? If that is the case ...", she paused briefly, her unblinking eyes of pure azure unwaveringly fixed on the fair-haired and excessively loquacious creature before her, her gaze seeming to peer right through him in a way not dissimilar to a blind person staring at the world around them, "... then you certainly will not have a problem with proving your divinity to us. Display power that proves you tell the truth. Undoubtedly an easy feat for someone like you. What good is a god without power, after all?".
