    Job Description: Deep in the Unknown Lands spread out all over Earthland, Mystic Towers stand tall and mysterious. As to what their purpose is or who built them, no one knows. They are all virtually identical, seemingly countless, and the magic pouring from them is malicious in nature. Because of this threatening vibe, most upstanding mages assume that the towers must fall before someone learns of their purpose and takes advantage of it, or otherwise learns to harness the unknown powers at work. Mages of ill-repute may risk it all to figure it out for their own purposes. In short, many who know of the Mystic Towers are itching to know what's held within the strange stone walls.

    While every single mage that has stepped foot within one of these towers thus far has met their horrific doom, the most recent expedition managed to send back several images via iLac message. This revealed that at least one of the sources of the magic power is a large magical seal powered by thirty-three lacrima. The mages tried to attack these Lacrima, but they were heavily resistant to both physical and magical attacks. However, it was not the lacrima that was responsible for their deaths..or perhaps they were. After attacking the lacrima for a while the mages were ambushed by magic identical to their own. In fact, they were attacked by mages identical to themselves, except their colours were completely inverted.

    Whether you defeat all the lacrima, your doppelganger, and the seal guardians in the name of good or evil is up to you, but either way, this is surely just the beginning of something bigger in your life. Tread carefully. The ultimate results are different for every tower as if whatever is beyond the seal predicted your arrival and knows exactly what to do.
    Enemies:

    • Lacrima x33
      Each has the durability equal to a B rank mage's HP and is 75% resistant to magical and physical attacks.
      Enemy Rank: Normal

    • Inverted Doppelganger
      Every five lacrima destroyed will spawn a doppelganger for each mage involved. The doppelgangers are capable of using all of your skills and magics. They are equal to you in every way except for the reversal of their colours. These will be at full health and will have seemingly infinite MP because they are fuelled by the lacrima around them. Their health is equal to a mage of your rank. Note: Despite the fact they may use AOE spells their magic for some reason will not harm the lacrima. As such you must fight them whilst bringing down the lacrima.

    • Seal Guardians
      Once you fell all the lacrima and all the doppelgangers, providing you are able to, the bosses will appear. The bosses appear to be mages clad in robes of black and wearing crowns with yellow shrouds hanging down over their heads. Their faces are not visible, two glowing white eyes are. They are X rank class mages of great power and will use two magics. The first of these is Arc of Embodiment, a powerful Lost Magic where they only need to imagine anything to materialize and use said things. The second is determined by the player but will be different for each boss. These magics will however never be one that benefits the user in any way, shape, or form. So for example, a dark slayer would never have darkness magic used against them. Every two posts they will use an H rank AOE spell. All other spells they do will cause S rank damage. This includes physical blows. Like with the doppelgangers their spells will not damage the lacrima.
      Since the bosses are X rank mages, you must deplete their X rank HP to take them down.

      Note: You may spawn as many as you like, minimum two. They always come in pairs, like twins.

    Reward: 200,000 jewel and access to repeat this job as many times as you like for your plot.
