Post by Alma 28th May 2019, 1:37 pm

There was no argument that the magenta haired teen had a sharp mind that could solve many problems, the issue was getting him to assert himself to doing it. He was spoilt, wanting for nothing and due to this had become entitled and lazy. His point of view was why should he use his energy when he could get someone else do it for him. This wasn't narrowed to things but also his studies, his family had gotten him the best tutors money could buy and where he was a steady A+ student he done the bare minimum to get it. When it came to the homework he didn't want to do it in any way, shape or form. At the moment he had a pile of homework that was due at the end of the week sitting on his desk "I really don't want to do that..." he complained to himself rolling to the edge of his queen sized bed and picking up a bell ringing it, after a few moments a young blue haired woman with tied back with a white ribbon walked in dressed in a black maid outfit that came to her ankles, a white apron. "Young sir?" she asked her hands clasped in front of her as she looked at him with amber eyes.

Alma just pointed to his homework with a smile "Deal with that for me." he said sliding off his bed, the young woman blinked "I couldn't possibly do it young sir." she replied "With due respect, if I do your homework you won't learn." she finished making Alma sigh "I will pay you to deal with it, you can name your price." he said waving his head, the woman blinked unable to believe that he just done that, she took a moment to think of the pros and cons of her decision. "Young sir, I must refuse." she said making the boy stop in his tracks "I respect your decision, however, if it is not done by the time I return I will have you fired for... well I have several reasons I could use. Your decision." he said walking out of the room, he had no idea if someone had heard him or seen what had happened, but then they knew better than to say or do anything or they would end up with the same treatment the young maid had. He moved down the steps and blinked seeing a black haired male in a white suit. He was told that they would be expecting someone from Tolgalen. He stopped at the bottom of the steps looking to him "Can I help?" he asked the other not sure if this was the person that was expected "Oh, who are you anyway?" he asked the man finally realising he had no idea who the hell he was.

Sol was moving thru the country of minstrel to do a negotiation job between a very wealthy family and the Trading company, this was a big thing since it was the first time he was actually performing talks with a client outside of Tolgalen so he knew he had to make sure this was done right. He liked this country though he had to admit he still found Midi and its culture to be much more to his liking if he was honest with himself, As a Vice President he needed to be able to be able to make deals and make sure all sides were happy and he was doing a good job so far. As he entered the home of the client and he waited at the entrance he suddenly heard voices from higher up and he blinked as he heard a young male voice telling someone to do his work and the older female voice telling him that she couldn’t possibly do it. It seemed that the young man didn’t want that answer and told her if it was not done then he would use any number of excuses to fire her which honestly made the Vice President twitch his eye since it sounded incredibly lazy.

Sol could be lazy himself but he always made sure that he had all his work done before he did such a thing since he felt like you needed to earn it. As the young man came down the stairs Sol blinked’ he’s cute though his personality needed some fixing if the Dragon was Honest. The slayers red eyes looked at him before he was asked who he was.”I am Sol Terumi from the West Fiore Trading Company, Im here to discuss some trade agreements on behalf of the company” he explained as he bowed respectfully before he looked at Alma.”who are you if I may ask?” he questioned. He assumed this boy was a child of the people he was going to be talking to, he would be careful since he didn’t want to offend someone but judging from what he had heard he would have to be careful not to lose his temper. It was known that out of the vice presidents in the company Sol had the shortest temper of the them and he would have to be on his best behavior since him messing up looked very bad for the company. “do you happen to know where your parents are so I can talk to them to start the agreements?” he asked also knowing he needed to get it done.

Post by Alma 29th May 2019, 7:53 pm

The magenta haired youth couldn't have cared less that the other had heard him and his request of the maid that entered his room, to him it had nothing to to with the black haired male and he would do well to pretend he didn't hear it if he did. He listened to the older male introduce himself and the company he worked for, it explained his reasoning for being there he guessed but that didn't really bother him. All Alma could do was shrug as if he was bored already with the other. "Pleasure to meet you I guess Sol Terumi of the West Fiore Trading Company." he repeated the elder males name and the company as if mocking him, this wasn't actually the case, it was just how he done things so he could remember them that bit easier. "I'm Alma" he said bluntly looking to the other seemingly fed up, right now he wanted to be anywhere but there in honesty but that meant hunting down someone to go shopping or whatever with him and he didn't have the patience for it. He wanted to be like a normal teen and go for a walk to the local market to look for things, but nope he had to be born into the family he was and that meant protocols had to be followed because heavens forbid if he was hurt or kidnapped.

As to the other question he tapped his bottom lip looking above him a little as he tried to think where his parents would be at current "They aren't here." he said honesty before shrugging "They aren't even in the country right now, guess they forgot you were coming." it wasn't the first time that their parents had done this and he doubted it would be the last, but then when you had as much money as they did people were nice to you because they knew it was better than being on the bad side. It could make a lot of issues to do so. "Guess you could wait here if you wanted and see if they come back, if not I can have them reschedule a meeting when they return. I don't really mind which." he seemed uninterested by this point as he looked to the window and seen that it had started to rain "I can get the servants to make up a guest room in the main house or make up one of the guest houses." he said his eyes moving back to Sol "If you decide to have a guest house, you will have staff there, as your host I would be expected to provide you with everything and anything you need." he said calmly, Sol would know from dealing with other high ranking families that this was a must and that they would do everything in their power to make their guests comfortable regardless of request so longs it didn't break laws. On the thirty minute coach ride to the main house he would have seen several others, which were a good distance apart and could easily be estates on their own. For now he waited to hear what the other wanted to do and what it would take for his comforts to be met.

As Alma greeted him and introduced himself Sol had to restrain his eyebrow from twitching since he could hear what sounded like a mocking tone in his voice and the dragon did not appreciate it. He had to admit that Alma was very cute and attractive but so far his attitude was in need of a swift kick to get it fixed. When the youth told him that his parents were not even here and that they were not even in the country at the moment which honestly irritated the Vice President since this was not exactly a small meeting, this was set up and to be honest the fact that they had forgotten was not a good thing but there was nothing that Sol could do at the moment.”Do you happen to know when they will be back Alma?” he questioned since if it wouldn’t be to long then he would wait and start the negotiations when they returned . Alma then offered for him to wait here until they returned or possibly have the meeting rescheduled, with these options the dragon thought for a moment before knowing that rescheduling would be more troublesome in the long run.

I will accept the offer to stay since it would be a long trip back to home and I graciously accept the offer to stay in a guest house” he said since to be given such an offer was very tempting. He would be treated very well which the Dragon liked since he had grown up on the streets and to gain such things now made the Vice President very grateful. Though as the youth explained that he would be providing him with everything and anything he needs Sol got an idea to put some humility into the boy to hopefully help him as he got older.”Can you show me to where I will be staying?” he asked since a tour would be very nice and he could then start his plan once they got there. What he would do would most likely be humiliating but Sol believed it would make him better in the long run. The one though that still went thru his head was how on earth the boys parents could forget his appointment since this was important and couldn’t be just brushed off. Sol pulled out his Kiseru before he looked at Alma.”Would it be alright if I smoked Alma?” he questioned since he didn’t want to be rude and if he had to step outside to smoke he would

Post by Alma 12th June 2019, 1:24 pm

Alma paused when he was spoken to and tilted his head a little as he thought a little on the question "Nope, not a clue." he said like it was a run of the mill thing, which it was to him. Normally he would have went with them but this time they allowed him to remain at home, the staff however had been given some strict instructions. He might have had a lot of power but when it came to that kind of thing he couldn't out rank his parents, he wasn't allowed out of the family estate without being escorted. His brother was allowed out without such precautions so he had to wonder why the hell he wasn't given that same freedom, he felt like he was being shielded from something or that the world was being shielded from him. He was just unsure as to which was the correct way of looking at it at current. His family had secrets, he was pretty sure of that as everyone had them but he would have thought that the family secrets would have been told to him by now, he was of age after all but he was still as much in the dark as he had always been and that wasn't what he liked at all.

Hearing that he would stay and would take a guest house he nodded a little before sighing "Then follow me, I could do with the walk." he said heading for the front door "Young master, you ar-""Save your breath, I'm just going to one of the guest houses. I know the rules about going off the estate." he interrupted the elderly man that tried to remind him of the rules, flicking his wrist dismissing him. He didn't want the headache that would come with the man prattling in his ear about the do's and don'ts, what was expected of him and blah, blah, blah. It was the same conversation just on a different day. As he approached the door a maid quickly moved forward opening it allowing them both to leave without stopping. "Have a good walk young sir." she said, Sol would recognise the voice of the young woman from before "Enjoy your time sir." she said to Sol as he walked past bowing just a little to him to be polite as it was expected of her. He walked down the white stone path for a good ten minutes, around them there would be several dozen gardeners at work as well as caretakers looking after the statues and ponds along the way. "Do you enjoy your job?" he asked eventually thinking he should at least try and make some sort of effort to have a conversation with the other.

When the other asked if he could smoke he looked around the gardens "If it was inside I would have had to have said no, my family doesn't allow anyone to smoke inside. I personally find it repulsive to put such things into your body but so long as it doesn't affect me, you feel free to do as you wish." he said with a shrug, the man was a guest he wasn't going to tell him no, their entire staff didn't smoke at all, it was part of their contract that they couldn't smoke while on the estate. After a further twenty minute walk he took a left and started walking up another path that led him to what was one of the many guest houses that were on the estate. This house looked like a large villa from the outside "This one might be a bit cosy, but I'm sure you'll make do." he said watching as the door was opened after the three minute walk it took to get to the door. "My family normally don't permit smoking on the premise but as you are a guest it isn't exactly like I can stop you. I will ask however that you do not smoke inside or anywhere that the smoke can be trapped such as porches and the likes." he said placing a few ground rules into the smoking thing. "This also means you can't lean out of a window and smoke that way, that is just undignified." he said with a sigh walking inside the elegantly lavished villa.

As the young man before him told him that he had no clue when his parents would be back and the dragon had to stop his eyebrow from twitching in annoyance. It seemed like this boy was very laid back but also it seemed like he was spoiled as well which was more and more apparent the longer Sol talked to him. Although he sighed Alma did tell him that he would lead him there and told him to follow. The vice president started to follow and then heard the elderly man start to say something before Alma very rudely cut him off and told him that he knew the rules and to save his breath while saying he knew the rules. Sol smiled a bit to the elderly man “don’t worry sir I will be with him and im a strong mage so he will be safe” he assured the house staff member as he walked passed. If they were worried about the young mans safety then Sol would make sure to be on guard so nothing happened, even if a freak event happened the slayer was well versed in both his poison and shadow magic that he could put down almost any threat.

As the woman that Alma had talked to before wished him a good walk and bowed Sol bowed back to her and smiled.”Thank you” he said softly as they walked out the door, once they were out Alma then asked him if he enjoyed his job and as he walked beside him Sol smiled a bit.” I do I had a hard start when I was growing up and to be a vice president and make sure that the company runs properly is refreashing and very rewarding to help others. It gets tough sometimes but the end result is always satisfying” he explained before he pulled out his Kiseru while his host told him that if he would have been inside it he would say no but as long as it didn’t effect him then he didn’t mind. Alma also mentioned that he didn’t understand why someone would put such things in their body. Sol trigger his kiseru to light and he took a drag before savoring the flavor of nightshade and foxglove mixed with tobacco and breathed upwards so it avoided the young man.”Yes its not for everyone I do it since it actually can be considering food since a magic I have allows me to consume toxic things. Its why I have nightshade and foxglove in my kiseru at the moment I can smoke it with no problems but for anyone else it might be a deadly mistake” he explained as he took another puff. He knew not everyone liked smoke and his brand tended to be bad for others health which is why he only tended to smoke it outside.

if you like I can change the scent to something nice like cherry and non toxic” he offered not wanting to offend his host. Alma mentioned that the house was cozy but he should enjoy it as a large villa came into view and Sol smiled a bit.”It looks very nice I don’t mind if its on the smaller side” he said as Alma then went on to request that if he smoked he did it outside and didn’t stick his head out the window or smoke on the poarch which the Dragon nodded. “alright I understand Alma” he said as he put his kiseru away since he was used to not smoking in the company building so this was no different. as they entered into the guest house Sol glanced over at Alma for a moment before he spoke “Alma would you like to join me for a cup of tea” he asked since he was a bit thirsty and he did want to hear more about this country since he had rarely been here and all he had to go on what was he read in his library. It also let him sit down and try to learn more about the young man before him since he was a bit intriguing if not a bit spoiled from his high class upbringing

Post by Alma 13th July 2019, 5:58 am

It was true that the young magenta haired male was spoiled and due to this was entitled, the issue was the things that he wanted he was always denied for one reason or another. He wasn't allowed off the estate without without an escort, he wondered if Midian nobles felt the same as he did as they to where always escorted no matter where they went, he made a note to ask next time he was dragged along to the easten country. The youth paid little attention to the servants or even Sol as the quick exchange was made, it had nothing to do with him so why should he. "Thank you." he said passing the maid who opened the door as he passed her, he knew the staff cared little for his wellbeing this was only a job to them, they were paid to be here and serve. His world was filled with people and yet he was still so alone due to his family name, it came with rules and expectations. What he never understood was why his elder brother was allowed the freedom he never was, it wasn't like there was a huge gap in age only a few months but then he wondered how such a thing was possible. When he asked he was told it was a world of magic and sometimes it happened, for a while it worked now he wasn't so sure.

Alma looked to the other as he spoke briefly on his harsh past and how it was hard yet rewarding work being within the company, he couldn't help but smile brightly "I often wonder what its like to have the freedom of a mage." he said with a quiet voice, it was almost as if he was afraid of being overheard. In honesty he brought up that conversation not to long ago and it was shot down quickly, he was one of the noble and elite there is no reason that he should be doing such lowly work. Travelling he could do with family funds, if he wanted something then it could easily be purchased for the same reason. The one thing all the jewel in the world couldn't buy was true friends, due to the tight leash and gilded cage he wasn't going to be able to make any anytime soon as much as much as he might want it. Hearing the black haired male's words it made him want that dream that much more, he wanted the freedom of being a mage and the ability for people to see him for who he was and not his family name. It was then he was told what was in the kiseru, followed by why it wouldn't affect the one currently smoking it "You're a poison mage then?" he said not thinking that the other may have been a slayer, to him the magic was but a myth after all he had just read about it and never seen it being used. "Poison is a double edged sword for it can take life but without it we wouldn't be able to get antidotes and some medicines." he said thoughtfully watching as the other breathed into the air.

He was kind of thankful as if the air changed direction then he or someone else could have been affected by it, that might have had some severe reprecussions to say the least. His eyes couldn't help but go over the kiseru and admire it "The one who crafted it showed it a lot of attention, if it was a gift the person loved you dearly." he said not knowing the history of the pipe or its owner, he could only really go by how it looked "And I can see you treasure it by the care taken with it." he had no idea how long he had the thing for but he could have sworn it was brand new if he hadn't watched the energy from it flow, he knew personally the longer someone had something the more of an imprint there was on the item, it seemed to be something that no one really paid attention to but he had noticed on his own cherished item. He shook his head to the offer of changing the scent, he couldn't smell it due to the other blowing up into the air "I'm glad you're okay with it, some of the others that visit want mansions and were we do have several the villas are more comfortable in my opinion." It hadn't been the first time when he wanted to pretend to get away from everything that he had actually stayed in the villa he had escorted Sol to. Walking in he blinked hearing the request for him to join the elder man for tea "It's only right as your host at current that I do, you can tell me more about your company and such." he said with a smile leading him to the kitchen.

As he heard Alma ask a very faint question and one he had never heard before Sol blinked a bit, the freedom of being a mage was something he never really thought about.” Honestly Alma it depends on what you make of said freedom it can be good or bad, like I said what I did with my freedom early on is not something I am proud of far from it honestly, but what I can do now is something that brings me joy. I guess the big thing is that you have options that some don’t have” he explained the best he could. When Alma questioned that he was a poison mage the dragon king nodded with a small smile.”That is correct to be more specific I am a Venom Godslayer and a former Poison Dragonslayer” he said before he tooka puff of his kiseru and then breathed out above himself. " it’s a useful power but like you said its double edged I have used it to great and terrible effect in my past but now I used it to make new antidotes and medicines that no one in earthland has seen before I made a lot of wrongs and I intend to right them the best I can” he said with a soft smile on his face. Sol knew he had done many horrible things and that many he could never be forgiven for but the fact was he was trying to fix his mistakes even if they were not truly appreciated it still meant something to him. It was an effort on his part to show he was getting better and that he was shedding the darkness that had once held him so tightly that it almost seemed like it would never truly fade from his soul and body.

As attention was brought to his Kiseru the Slayer blinked before he smiled and nodded.”It as actually made by a dear friend of mine she and her clan are well versed in crafting and it always costs a pretty penny” he explained before going on. “the one that got this for me she is very precious to me but unfortunately she has gone missing and im trying to find her I worry greatly” he said his tone a bit sad at the end. “I take good care of it daily since so much care was put into it thankfully its not to hard to take care of and its strong so it wont break easy” he admitted. Sol knew that anything Clearblade made was always of perfect quality and never anything less. At Almas mentioning of having mansions or Villas and that he preferred a villa to a mansion Sol nodded. “I am fine with a Villa since I have a castle back on Tolgalen so something a bit smaller but still luxurious will be fine” he explained as they stepped into the Villa and nodded at how it looked since despite his taste being more Midi based he found the lavish décore quite enjoyable. Alma then led him to the kitchen and Sol nodded in gratitude.”Thank you and I would be happy to tell more about my company and myself if you wish to know more” he explained. There were things he would have to keep secret that was a given but he was more then happy to share some things about himself to him and about the work he did.
