Early in the morning while the Crystalli was docked, Luna decided that she should get some training in. Tying her hair back into a ponytail, and instead of a qipao dress she put on a grey hoodie over her biker shorts and headed to a special building on Crystalli. The building was a dojo and gym built into one compact building, which happened to be connected to the health food oriented restaurant next door. Luna started to suspect the two were intertwined in more then just a business partnership but didn't read into it. On her way in she brushed her ponytail aside, causing the attendant to see it as she passed the counter, the attendant said nothing as mages tend to get in for free.

She walked through the facility to the back room which held what appeared to be a sparring arena, while racks of various sparring tools ranging from boxing gloves to bow staffs were scattered about. Luna walked to a corner which had pedestals made of an odd red substance. From what she learned, these were training posts were made of something called Revfoam in case mages wanted to use magic, so long as the lacrima was intact, anything made of Revfoam would repair itself in time.

Luna dragged a pedestal to the center of the sparring circle and then walked over to a shelf and grabbed three Revfoam boxes, placing one on the pedestal, one three meters away from the pedestal, and one five meters from the pedestal in an adjacent direction. Luna stood between the two blocks set down. Noting the placements, she clenched her right fist as she adjusted her stance. Gathering energy in her hands, she divided it into three balls.

She proceeded to throw the balls in a curve, each one hitting the three boxes. "Aura scattershot!" The two boxes barely moved but the one on the pedestal got knocked back a bit. Figuring it would require a heavier touch, she clasped both her hands together with her index and middle finger, pointing above the box. Gathering energy between her pointed fingers, she aimed above the box and then lifted her index fingers and shot a bolt of energy "Lesser Aura Bolt!", passing the box, but it looped around and hit the box from behind. The box got sent flying towards Luna who kicked the box, sending it flying back hitting the pedestal.

For the next hour, Luna kept practicing drills in a similar fashion until she took a minute to breath, leaning on the pedestal for support, sweat coating her face and staining her clothes while the Revfoam boxes were in pieces, slowly restoring themselves. "Sparring with myself, it's not the best way but it sure takes a lot out of me."

The headquarters of the Crystal Swan guild, the Crystalli.

Serving as both their home city and place of business, the floating sought to provide the needs of the guilds members to the fullest. However, there was one member of this guild, a recent newcomer, who's place of comfort lay elsewhere. One who preferred the company of the trees and animals that resided on the surface of Fiore, rather than in the skies above it. However, now that the city had landed, a certain gray-haired wizard had the opportunity to both report the success of his last job as well as acquire a new one. There was still one problem, though...

Dmitry Kazakov was lost. There was no way around it. Despite having a near peerless sense of direction in the wilds of Fiore, the young woodsman had next to no ability to navigate towns, cities, or really any form of man made structure. Not only was it simply unfamiliar, there was a distinct difference in the spiritual activity of such places, leaving him feeling forever out of place in such environments. Of course, Dmitry also lacked the social capability to stop and ask for directions, not to mention the basic knowledge required to interpret such instructions.

'Hmm, having a bit of trouble, are we boy?' The voice of his spiritual mentor, the wolf spirit Hati, chimed in his mind with a mocking tone.

'Yeah, well, don't help out or anything, old man...' Dmitry snapped back through the telepathic link they shared. So long as this link remained, the medium would be the only one to suffer the wolf's taunts while outside the physical plane. 'Perish the thought! I would never dare rob you of the accomplishment.'

A scowl on his face, the 'boy' continued to wander about the city until something stopped him in his tracks, a presence he couldn't quite place. It was definitely familiar, but was far too faint to fully recognize. It was almost as though it was being concealed or perhaps dormant, further drawing out the spirit wizard's curiosity. Now with a purpose to his steps, he made a beeline for whatever this presence belonged to. It was a habit of his, for better or worse, to seek out such influences whenever he felt them. 'Ah...so you've finally noticed, eh?' Dmitry simply ignored the spirit, his legs taking him to a gym/restaurant, not that he knew the difference. For a moment, he was snapped from his trance-like state by a clerk asking for his emblem, something that took a moment to register with the wizard. After pulling back his sleeve and showing the black symbol on his right forearm, he proceeded into the back room where a woman who looked around his age was training herself. Too distracted by his own curiosity (and lacking manors to start with), Dmitry blurted out his query.

    "What are you?"

    "What are you?"

Dumbfounded by the question, Luna's glare struck the new individual who came into the room. Her jade eyes scanned the man as she tried to process the question, as it was not who, but what. Luna figured it was obvious she was human, so she assumed he was referring to her status. Pulling her ponytail aside as she stood up, she revealed the back of her neck and revealed her white tattoo, the back of her hood just covered up to the tip of her black scar. "I'm a member of Crystal Swan. Just getting some training in."

Letting go, she turned around to look at the taller man in the eyes as she got a tense vibe off the man. She had seen a lot of tension in men, and learned to read the room. However she couldn't tell if this was directed at her or just the room, she wanted it to be a bit more clear. She thought it was just annoyance that someone else was using the room. As the red revfoam boxes restored themselves. Walking across to the man, she extended her hand in courtesy to the man. "Hello. I'm Luna Mira, pleasure to meet you."

Dmitry's earlier trance combined with his ignorance with human customs led him to simply stare at the hand offered him, causing Hati to chuckle in the boys head.

'I believe you are meant to take that, boy.' He said to his pupil, clearly even more amused than when he was lost.

'Huh? Oh right.' The medium thought before taking the hand...and doing nothing with it for about thirty seconds before letting go and looking about the room. He'd never been in such a room, having been trained in the forests by Hati. What was even more confusing was the presence of the boxes in the room, something that made little sense to him after the rather spartan lessons he received from the old wolf. Curious once more, though not fully distracted from the presence he still felt from the girl, Dmitry walked over to one of the targets and poked it a few times with his finger. "What the hell are these things?" He rudely asked as he looked back to her, not even taking notice of the fact that he hadn't introduced himself in return yet. "There somethin' inside it? Like...food or whatever?"

Luna couldn't help but feel overshadowed as the man seemed to have no interest in her as he seemed to be absent minded. Luna minded that no thought as she didn't know the man well, what one could perceive as normal is not universal. She watched as the man seemed more interested in the Revfoam equipment rather than herself. "Those are Revfoam structures. As long as the core Lacrima is intact, the boxes will restore themselves. Generally anything bellow S class is fine to use against it, at worst the Lacrima hits the ground."

Grabbing one of the boxes, she made sure to keep in mind where the man was as she did not want to hurt him, holding the box so one corner was facing her as she prepared her stance, charging energy in her foot. "Watch, but don't get too close. Don't want to hurt you. She lightly tossed ahead of her before kicking the box head of her. A thin wave of white light energy came with the kick as it connected with the box, breaking parts of the red revfoam as it hit the ceiling twelve feet up in the air and crashed down to the floor, scattering the foam like fluff around.  Luna flipped over the broken box with her foot and pulled out the red sphere lacrima, causing what was left of the cube to lose shape and turn into a pile of red foam.

"Revfoam requires connection to the lacrima to maintain shape. As long as it's in use it won't reform. It's sorta like a magic punching bag." Luna dropped the lacrima into a pile of revfoam as the crystal glowed for a second before all of it's corresponding pieces of revfoam gathered back into the original shape of a cube. Luna however figured the man had a purpose for being here, and she didn't want to feel like she was getting in the way of anything. "Oh, I didn't quite catch your name a minute ago, also did you need the room? Sorry if I seem in the way. Just I wanted to push my abilities a bit, I don't usually take on heavily violent jobs like monster hunts or bandit raids so I gotta worry about practice."

Dmitry cocked his head at the display, blinking a few times as the lacrima performed its function. What an odd thing to do just to punch a box.

"Hmm? Oh, name's Dmitry..." His voice trailed off for a moment before he regained his focus. "I felt something...strange in this direction. But now I'm not sure what it was in the first place." His eyes were drawn once more the revfoam.

"So...what's the point?" He walked over to the box after it was reformed, poking it again. "I mean, what do you learn from crap like this? It doesn't fight back, doesn't dodge, or block...It just sits there. At this rate, you won't last long against a real opponent. Might as well fight a tree stump." Naturally, Dmitry didn't notice the negativity in his own words, simply stating what he thought.

'Now, now, not every human can have a pair of jaws at their throat for a teacher, can they boy?' Hati seemed to be both amused and validated by his teaching method.

'Hey, I'm not saying they need to get tossed around like rag dolls, but this is useless.' He responded some what reasonably for once.

Luna felt a bit put down that the man seemed to almost insult her for training against the revfoam. However Luna did not know how to interpret his last line as she was not sure who he was talking to, but she didn't want to pry. However, she started to piece together parts of his views on strength. However what he was talking about sensing made little sense to her. She didn't find anything in the room strange as the revfoam gave off almost nothing. As far as she knew, she was the only one in the room but sensed nothing out of the ordinary. Taking a moment to check, she did notice that the man was not as strong as herself. "Odd, I sense nothing odd. Perhaps you're just not used to sensing magic in such a populated area?"

However she did see an a chance to have a poke at fun with him as he appeared to have some form of wolf-like philosophy. Faking a strikingly accurate facade of intimidation, she walked up to the man, looking up into his eyes. "Yet still you have the nerve to judge someone stronger than you in regards to training." However the facade soon as a tense moment as Luna burst into laughter for a moment, almost keeling over.

"Sorry, that was just so out of character. Couldn't keep it up." Backing away, Luna kicked a revfoam box outside of the arena, conceding to the point of the man. "While it's true, for pure combat training sparring is a wonderful way, but sometimes going back to basics and practicing techniques or cutting loose with pushing some limits. Not all wizards need to be able to wrestle with a giant grizzly bear. "
