Ahote has decided it's time to make a statement that the magic council will never forget, so has not only set a plan in motion to get some of the most notorious dark mages out of a maximum security prison. Rune Knight's are the guards of this facility, he also decided destroy the damn thing with those that he sees as useless or not worth the effort to help escape dying. Every cause has sacrifices after all.
