- Job Title: A Wizard's Grace
Rank: D-Ranked Wizard (Solo Only)
Player Requirements: Thread must be 20 posts long. 200 Words per post. May only be completed ONCE by the character attempting the Job.
Job Requirements: Must defeat at least 5 groups of Plant Demons! Without using magic that can damage the crops and farms of Beanstalk Village! If the Boss is rolled; the curse on the crops will disappear; but you now have to face off against the Dark Wizard who cursed them in the first place!
Job Location: Beanstalk Village
Job Description: Beanstalk Village; nestled in the most northern forests of Fiore alongside the Clover River. This village is responsible for a good bit of Fiore's farm and produce production alongside River Village, and Peace Village. Everything from vegetables, too beef, too steak, too pork can come from here.
However; all crops in the village; have whithered and grown thorns. Quite strange no? They also glow with a strange light; as if some kind of bad magics are at work; holding the crops into this foul state.
There aren't any wizards in the village; so they're completely baffled how entire crop fields of wheat, corn, and tomatoes could just sprout black thorns, wither, and glow. It's very, very, VERY; strange to them.
However; when you arrive; the cursed plants react to your magic power; revealing to the villagers the source of the problem. Plant Demons; feeding off of their crops.
The Plant Demons appear; popping up in waves. They look quite cute; each Plant Demon either has a head and body made up of whatever vegetable it is; with thin white legs and arms; and glowing red eyes with a mouth that they love to use to eat real crops; and too trash talk.
They will pop out of the ground randomly when they sense Magic Power for the first time in Beanstalk Village; and attack. The curse will wear off when you dispose of the Plant Demons.
Enemies:
Weak: Tomato Plant Demon x10 (D-Ranked, these Demons are real trash talkers; nothing is off limits to them. With a body like a giant tomato. Despite their tough talk; they're very weak and go down in just two hits of D-Ranked damage each; they will try to belly flop and body slam their opponents; their special technique is 'Tomato Juice Cannon'; which blasts their opponent with a stream of ketchup from their mouth; careful it packs a punch and deals D-Ranked damage and knockback that will lift you off your feet if hit.)
Normal: Corn Plant Demon x5 (D-Ranked, these Demons have a body like a giant corn cob. They don't talk tough; but think themselves very stylish. They will attempt to body flop, and body ram opponents much like the Tomato Plant Demons. Their special technique is 'Corn Corn Cannon' in which they exhale a stream of Corn, flying at bullet speed. They hurt like hell; equivalent to almost having baseballs thrown at you. Enough of them will K.O even tough wizards. This deals C-Ranked damage if hit. The Corn Plant Demons go down in 3 hits of D-Ranked damage each.)
Strong: Broccolli Plant Demon x10 (C-Ranked, these demons have a body like broccolli with glowing red eyes. They are very fast; and will charge opponents quickly with shoulder rams, and punches. Their special technique is 'Broccolli Swat'; in which they cock their body back like a gigantic fly swatter, and slam their Broccolli heads down on their opponent in a gigantic smash. This deals C-Ranked damage, and can K.O quite easily. If caught off guard you will be slow to move around and be sore for the next post. The Broccolli Plant Demons go down in 5 hits of D-Ranked damage each.)
Boss: Dark Wizard (The one who put the curse on the entire Farmlands of Beanstalk Village; this guy is not to be trifled with. He is an middle aged man with an extremely impressive beard; wearing dark robes. He uses Curse Magic. Once per turn; he will try to make one of your limbs like jelly, as well as cause you to see and hear things that aren't there. His Curse spells can do everything from make you blind, make you not able to hear, paralyze one limb, make you not be able to speak, and the ability to make your own spells backfire on you. If you roll a 'Failed Block'; you will be Cursed with one of these effects, takes 15 hits of D-Ranked damage to bring this guy down.)

The beanstalk village, with a view from the outside of the entrance. A gorgeous village like most of the places she have been to. The rural aura of this place makes it a getaway from most of the problem Ophelia have been to though she didn't come here for that. She wanted to help the people in this village that are carrying a big problem. A problem that concerns crops which is a primary need of this village. It could be a severed condition if no one wants to take this job but due to Ophelia's kind heart and determination, she wouldn't allow such a vigorous thing to happen. Finally she's here to begin her job for the sake of the village's future though she'll need a lot of information to be able to get on and finish the job.
The day goes on, with interviews of people on what was going with the crops but as she enters the crop's field she's surprise of what just happened in front of her own eyes. It seems like the crops were reacting from her magic. Now she knows that this would take a lot of time before this job could get finish.

The first bunch of monsters has arrived. Ten tomatoes have sprung into life which means she has to deal with this monsters. Ophelia prepared herself as she saw that these monsters could give her a hard time. A really hard one, in fact the tomatoes talks boastfully to her, discriminating her looks and the thing she's carrying which made her really upset. The looks of this disastrous event really makes it a scary experience for Ophelia which made her decide what to use in this kind of situation. She then picks a charm that could wipe out this ten individuals.
"Open, Realm of the Pig, Uri!" A lady with a pig like features appears in front of her snoring out of her sleep. "Go Uri cover them with your mud!" Uri stood up and jumped from her pace. "I'm on it!" A magic circle appears in front of her and mud flows out covering the vegetables eyes and slowing down their movement. "Thanks alot Uri." Before Uri leaves she said "Your welcome." She hold her ribbon wand which she grins in an intimidating look. Her magic flows right into the wand which enlarged it. "Now the real fight begins."

The field was intense which made the people that surrounds the field worried about Ophelia's condition but Ophelia was not stun by this in fact to the people's amaze she runs around the horde of semi blinded monsters and whip them two times which made them turn in pain as they vanish one by one. The plan was successful but she senses that there's still a lot of them that are going to appear which could be lethal to her. She then decided to stop for a moment to rest herself for the day. After that she gathered all the people of the village to tell her current situation. They agreed to let her rest for the day to get her in condition. She then rested the night in a nearby Inn. It's not as cozy as she have in her house but no complaints could ensure her that tomorrow morning would be easy as yesterday's job but it makes her worried since she can't summon Uri which hinders her from using the same tactics which she really needs to develop a new to finish off the stressful job. She then woke up from the inn ready to start her day again.

"Good morning Beanstalk Village!" She yells outside in a positive mood which made her startle the people. She then once again prepares herself from the new group of monster. The monsters seems to look different from what she have seen from before. Ten of them is really a devastating sight to see specially when you see them rushing straight towards you. "Uri if you're only here it could be more useful in this situation." She then hold her wand enlarged by her magic. She then hold her charm with her other hand and enchants, "Open, Realm of the rabbit, Usa." Usa then appeared in front of her. "Servant, what is it this time?" Ophelia got disappointed of her words but she has no choice but to command Usa even though she kinda dislike her saying servant all the time. "Usa do your thing!" Usa then digs underground and attacks each dealing damage to each of the horde one by one. Ophelia then runs around whipping each of the monsters that are rampaging in all of the direction. One could be seen getting her by each of the damage but still refuses to stand down or even give up on trying to harm her.

The broccoli monster was ready for another round which means that Ophelia wouldn't be able to block herself from an incoming attack which she needs to endure but then Usa knocks the beast from a hit under the ground which made Ophelia glad upon seeing her. All of the broccoli monsters were surrounding them which made Ophelia really nervous. Her nervousness triggers something that she can't explain. A rush of blood could be felt by her body which made her really worried on whats going on with her. She suddenly felt stronger than before, not mentally but physically. On her command, Usa digs underground again but this time Ophelia grabbed her whip, entangling one while tossing it on the other Broccoli plants which made an awful damage to them. Usa then came up and congratulates her on having such a strength. Usa then vanish into her realm. It's her third day on the village. A day that is unusual for her as the window suddenly got broken by something that looks like a corn. It's not just a normal corn, it's a giant one that seems to be getting shot outside of the inn. In her dismay, she rushed downstairs to find a group savaged looking corn monsters. They boastfully talk about her look which made Ophelia a bit angry since they're being sarcastic about saying it though. She then angrily stand in front of them and summons Usa and Uri to her disappointment. She then commanded Uri to trap them in a mud while Usa digs her way underground. "I hate corns." She immediately pull out her ribbon wand which she intent on using it on them. With Usa's underground attacks and Ophelia's whip, they've manage to eliminate them one by one which is really another day of exhaustion for Ophelia, It's like an another day of vigorous work which she just wanted to have a beautiful that's same with the other job she has taken in Magnolia. The day was finish again and Usa and Uri returned from their realms but summoning two at once made her unable to move for a minute.

Ophelia was too exhausted from the event which then she asks the villagers if she could take a break. The villagers thankfully agreed with her demands as a wizard doesn't have all the power to continue all of the fighting stuff in one day. She wanted freedom which she has achieved from the villagers as she thank them for understanding her. She then asks one on what activity does people find pleasing here and the villager answered "Oh there's a lot of activity here, from sunset watching to cleaning rice or removing coconut meats from the coconuts." She then gladly grabbed a coconut to remove its meat which made her amuse on how basic lives of people here in beanstalk village works. "Oh lady let me do that, its obvious that your not used to doing that." said the man but Ophelia insist and say, "It's ok sir I just want to experience this kind of thing that most of you do here." She continued to extract the meat which made the man happy since few people that lives in an urban area doesn't usually want to do this kind of thing. She then leaves for the inn for another day.

She woke for another day and another day means another hordes monster she needs to deal with but this time she have a problem. Saturday means that she can only summon two of her spirits and that's Nyaa and Mei. It's a huge problem since one is good with single target only and the other one could heal. Ophelia is in a huge situation which she needs to be thinking widely for this to work as this is tricky for her to use them both in a fight. She then rushed outside to see the broccoli to rampage again and this time its also the same amount as last time. She then rushed her way into the field and prepares her whip and charms to get ready for an attack as she summons the two at the same time. "Open, Realm of the cat and sheep! Nyaa and Mei!" The cat purrs on Ophelia asking why she rarely summons her and she answers, "I have my reasons for that Nyaa I'm so sorry." The cat lady stood up and say, "Fine fine fine whatever." Ophelia then turn around to Mei as she remembered the last time she have summoned her for a show for charity which made Mei happy that day since she likes to help in a non fighting in field way. She seems to be looking unwell this day since they're engaging in a fight.

"Ready guys?" She asks them both. "I'm always ready you know." Nyaa replied with confidence but Mei stood there in silence. "Is something wrong Mei?"she asks Mei to know her condition and to know if she's ready to fight. Mei replied, "C-can we b-back off now?" Mei is chilling and she doesn't know what to do in this situation. "You can do it Mei just follow my commands ok?" Ophelia smiled at Mei with confidence as she knows that Mei can do great things as it will improve herself as a being. Ophelia then grabbed her ribbon wand and prepares herself from the incoming horde of broccoli. "Nyaa go!" Nyaa's eyes becomes thin and looks for a target as she continue on slicing it consecutively with her claws. "Mei just hide behind me." Mei then followed her orders as she then whip the horde of broccoli to keep them off in a distance where they could be safe enough while fighting the group. Ophelia then continued to fight using her whip and Nyaa's fast movement allowed the broccoli to attack each other plus more scratches from her targets. Ophelia was really confident on what her team was doing as far as luck is in their side.

Ophelia was happy when they were gaining the upper hand but suddenly she heard Nyaa screams as she got hit by a broccoli swat that the broccoli was yelling about. Ophelia suddenly loose her focus as she yells, "Nyaa!" she wants to rush towards Nyaa but she can't which made her lost hope. She's Open for an attack though tears are falling in her face she really neglects what gonna come in front of her as the villagers that are watching screams to watch out. A broccoli was charging towards Ophelia yelling "Broccoli swat." When Nyaa gain consciousness she screams "Ophelia!" Mei saw Ophelia crying which means that she doesn't want her spirits to get hurt as she remembers a young Ophelia and her being a motherly figure to her from guiding her to her growing years. "Ophelia." Mei suddenly cried and runs in front of Ophelia receiving the attack of the broccoli. "I won't let you hurt her!"
The sound of her have made Ophelia gain consciousness as she see Mei lying in the ground with scratches in her body. Ophelia then cried really hard seeing Mei unconscious. "No!" Ophelia screams. She hold her whip while she continue on whipping the monster until it vanish.

"Give me the shovel!" She yells at the villagers as one of them get close to her and gave her a shovel. All of the things returned to normal, Nyaa and Mei vanished into her realm and her ribbon wand returned to normal. "I won't let you all get out alive!" A sudden rush of blood stream has flow throughout Ophelia's body as it felt like some kind of an adrenaline rush which made Ophelia feel the aura of her strength unleashing towards her whole body. Nevertheless she grabbed the shovel and rush towards the horde with an unpleasant smile with a crying face. "You'll pay for this!" She charge her shovel and slams it to her opponent which one by one vanished to their existence. Her raged can be felt by the people who got scared of her look. She then told the people to stay quiet about it as if anyone managed to get to know her secrets she might get herself in a great danger which the people on the town agreed upon on not to tell anyone about her hidden power. She then went back to the inn while thinking of the condition of both Nyaa and Mei.
