    Spoiler:

The door finally opened, and the female that entered smiled. She looked around carefully, carrying a large sort of box with a very much alive toadstool sitting on top of it. Not knowing what was in the box, she carefully placed it on a table before sitting down rather conveniently next to the table. The toadstool was still sitting on top of the box, just so his master could still see him.

“Wh-what’s in the box, do you think?” The toadstool blinked at the mermaid princess in curiosity. “You should really open it soon, Aerwyna!”

“I’m not sure, Kinopio…” The female replied as she bit her lower lip. “I am really anxious about this box, what if it’s for my family… nobody knows about my heritage apart from you after all, Kinopio. Especially since it doesn’t have my name and only ‘SM’... that could be some other royal subject for all I know.”

“Open it!” Kinopio demanded, in his cute croaky voice. With the way Kinopio commanded it, she couldn’t resist.

    “Ok… if you say so…”

Standing up, Aerwyna held the tiny toad in her hands and forcefully placed him on the chair she was sitting on not too long ago and opened up the box to reveal the contents inside. Inside was some notes and a lacrima, which she has investigated thoroughly. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing and reading. She even had to blink her crystal hues a few times to make sure she was reading this right and not hallucinating.

“Holy Triton, Kinopio…” The female gasped. What she has just experienced was really bad, and she felt the urge to try investigate what happened. She should probably try hook someone up however. Just so she can stay extra safe. But who could she ask to be safe?? She didn’t know who she could trust really, but she has to learn to trust others sometime.

Rose was walking around the Silvermoon inn once more, seemingly anxious and nervous about something. But by now, this was pretty much the norm that everyone else was rather used to as well. She was acting like this ever since her big sister Jiyu left the guild, so it was justifiable, probably. She did join Black Rose only so that she could be with that family member after all. And just as she joined, the big girl left without even saying much! They didn't even get to go on a single job together, and that saddened the little squirt rather heavily. But it was what it was, not exactly something she could change. In the end, her big sister will always follow behind Mr. Kitty, no matter where he goes. Truly a shame, as Rose would definitely not fit into the guild that her sister was now part of, as she was a tad bit too young to be a bloodthirsty and booty hunting pirate. All of that lead to this moment, where she was just walking everywhere and trying to find something new that she could be occupied with, something that she could waste her time away on. And soon, such a thing presented itself in rather mysterious manner! As she was going through the different rooms, the little girl decided to nearly smash one of the doors open, making a pretty loud noise that could make anyone unsuspecting jump from their seat! And as she looked around, she spotted two different figures in the room. Well... only one of them was human, but still two figures nonetheless. It was one of the other newer members, a girl with beautiful blue eyes that reminded Rose of the ocean. Of course her own eyes were of deep blue color as well, but she could not see those unless she found herself a mirror! And that was just inconvenient, so having someone with those eyes around was really neat! And it also seemed that this young girl was studying something delightful in shame of a box! What could be inside of it?! The curious black haired girl wanted to know! So she hopped right next to the other guild member and started flailing her arms about, one of her fangs showing as she started talking, or perhaps even screaming with the volume of her voice.

Aera, Aera~ what are you doing? Can I join, I'm booored! I want to play, can we plaaay~?

Yes, she was calling Aerwyna simply Aera. Because her actual name just sounded a little bit too difficult to a 10-year-old darling. Not that she was really calling anyone here by their full name other than Jiyu. Even Marschal was Mr. Kitty when he was still around. But enough about that, the little girl wanted to play! Or do something, anything really. As long as it would chase away the horrible monsters of boredom that were sucking away her energy with such diligence. And she liked Aerwyna too, even though they didn't really get to talk together all that much yet. So perhaps whatever they would do together could become a really grand bonding experience for these two girls, a journey of friendship and all that nice stuff! But for that to happen, Rose actually needed to get the girl's attention, which hopefully did happen just fine with how loud and grand her entry into the room was just few moments ago. Hard to miss this loud missy, that was for sure.

Upon hearing a female voice. Aerwyna looked around to see a young female, she was only a little child and Aerwyna admired little kids who were mages. But then again, she always admired little children back in the water. Down where it’s wetter and saltier. But she had to admit, the air was much more refreshing to the skin then the water itself. Looking at the girl more closely, she could finally identify the girl as none other than Rose Jackson.

“You are so sweet, of course you can come with me.” The female answered, standing up and kneeling down before patting her head. Kinopio then jumped down himself, being the shy toadstool that he was. He hid himself behind Aerwyna, unsure of Rose’s movement. “Who could refuse such an offer when it sounded so adorable?! But make sure you stay near me, where I am going could possibly be dangerous. I hope you understand that.” Aerwyna mentioned as she finally stood back up and tilted her head a bit, letting her blue hair tilt with the very same movement.

“Before we go, would you like to get everything ready??” She asked Rose, unsure if she needed a weapon or not. For sure, Aerwyna couldn’t go anywhere without her sword. So in reality she knew she was ready as her key-shaped sword was in her sheathe.

Human's Justice Empty Re: Human's Justice

Rose loved receiving attention like this. The fact that the blue haired girl didn't shoo her right away because she was in the middle of some possibly personal business? It was nice. Rose was literally beaming with happiness, figurative sparks everywhere around her gently blushed face. With the approval of her soon to be parter for another adventure, she could get very much excited again! Adventures were always the best way of shooing away the boredom, not letting it get back at you. Though it did usually depend on the type of adventure, as some of them could get rather dull sometimes. Rose remembered how her mother sent her out on the adventure of bringing groceries out of the store, but that was much less fun that what she could go through as a wizard! So whatever this job will be, surely it would be something amazing that the little girl could remember for a long time after. Or at least she hoped for a result like that anyway.

"Yaaay~, it will be play time with Aera! Where will we go?"

The little girl could barely contain herself, even more so when she got patted on the head. As the hand stroked the black messy hair, Rose started fidgeting while standing in place, trying to lead more into Aerwyna's hand. She also finally noticed the creature that jumped down from the chair, quickly retreating into hiding behind her owner. Placing her index finger in front of her mouth in a questioning matter, the young girl tilted her head so she could maybe get a better look at whatever manner of being it was, though it was a bit hard as it was hiding pretty well! And when Aera asked if Rose needed any preparations, the girl moved both her hands to her chest, clenching them while looking around herself in a serious manner, trying to look like an adult that was making an important decision. Though, of course, she did not manage to think of anything that could aid her on this journey. She did have a weapon... of some kind. But in her head, she wasn't even properly aware that where they were going could be dangerous, despite Aera saying so. But if anything, surely the mermaid princess could be brave enough to protect this child from the harm's way.

"Nooope! We can go ahead and play right away! Ah, no... wait~"

Rose thought she was ready, but she really wasn't. There was still one more thing she had to do so she could be even with her big friend here. Making a bit of distance between herself and the blue haired beauty, she started running and jumped on top of the chair that the odd creature was sitting atop just mere moments ago. And from that point, she was able to reach Aera's head even as she was standing! Which was exactly what she wanted and needed.

    "Pat pat!"

As she said those words, her hand found it's way onto Aera's, trying to stroke her the same way as she was not too long ago, returning the favor. Now they were even and thus could continue on the journey there would soon embark on!

Aerwyna couldn’t help but chuckle to herself lightly. She was so adorable, she wondered what it would be like if she ever had a sister back in the water kingdom. However, she knew that her father explained that despite with all the concubines he has in his arsenal, he would only have Aerwyna as his daughter, he explained this himself that he didn’t want any other children as he believed that Aerwyna would make a fine heir without any distractions from close family members. Naturally, the female grew to be a very mature young lady, it was just a shame that she cannot apply that properly here just yet.

“We’re going to a forest I guess… I… well… urm… can’t read stuff properly though, but judging from what I could read… well… urm, I don’t know the name properly, but I know where to go.” Aerwyna answered the young child. Aerwyna knew she could not read properly yet, but thanks to herself trying to learn herself some key spellings. She can identify some words to an extent.

“Huh?? W-wait for-??” Suddenly, Aerwyna felt extremely warm inside. She felt so warm that she wanted to fully embrace the little girl. She was already glad that she was making some friends in the guild. She never thought that she would be making one with a child, but it was very nice nonetheless. It made her happy and that was all that mattered.

“You’re so sweet.” Aerwyna admitted as the young girl stopped patting her. Kinopio chuckled slightly himself before he looked to his master in the eyes.

“Kinopio, I would like you to stay here. Okay??”

    “B-but!”

“No, Kinopio… it can be very dangerous. If I was much stronger, maybe. But with my current rank, I won’t be able to protect you on these missions…”

Nodding to himself, Kinopio toddled off and left the mermaid to look to the little girl once more. Eventually, Aerwyna grabbed Rose before she placed her onto the floor. “Let’s go.” She said, making her way to the door.
