    Description:
    When two opposing forces are combined, chaos is formed. That much is known by the wide public. However, it is rarely attempted to control such force for its destructive properties and low chance of being controlled in any meaningful way. However, a witch in the past managed to do just that, as her white magic combined with the pure blackness in order to repel enemies that were threatening her village. This became her sin and as she decided to continue living on as a regular human being, she bore a child who had this power flowing in their blood. And now, the lineage reached Charlotte. A poor girl that is possessed by an omnipotent force which simply uses her as a toy and tool which forms the puppeteer’s story. With help from such being, the power of her blood has been awakened and the magic of Black and White is now fully active and usable.

    The magic of chaos is divided into three different section. The first one being the Magic of White. The core of the powers that White With uses, it is a magic of life itself. Every living being, or sometimes even non-living ones, have a life force inside of their body which the White Witch calls “Aurora”. White magic operates and restores this energy within others and even the witch herself in order to heal and purify one’s body and very soul. People often mistake magic of white for the magic of light, though the two are actually quite different. The magic of White is without any elements and thus cannot even be classified as holy. It is simple white, the life itself.

    The second part is a little bit less welcome in this world, yet just as necessary for life itself to exist. The magic of Black, or as some call it, dark arts. However, just like with the white part of these powers, black is without element and represents death itself. It is a destructive magic that annihilates and corrodes all in its path, no matter what it is. In a sense, the Magic of Black feeds on aurora and transforms it into something else entirely, which poisons living bodies instead. Such is the destination of all mortal creatures, as none of them can truly escape the embrace of final rest. Something that makes it quite surprising that immortal being such as the puppeteer can actually understand it.

    Finally, there is chaos. Normally, something like that cannot be truly controlled and used to one’s advantage. That is the very nature of chaos after all. However, the powers of White and Black eventually became one in the blood of White Witch. And now that the puppeteer can be in charge of this power, even chaos becomes usable as a weapon of mass devastation. This is, of course, something Charlotte is strongly against, which is why only Seth themselves use this part of the magic. Being the same as previous portions, chaos has no set element and is described by it’s very name as something that cannot be properly understood by the mortal mind.
    Strengths:

    • Allows for connection to beings that would not otherwise even exist
    • Capable of combining to light and darkness into raw non-elemental chaos that is strong against nearly all types of magic
    • Let's Charlotte control both light and darkness individually if she wants to

    Weaknesses:

    • Weak against any metal-type defenses, equipment, and spells
    • Some forms of the magic are too powerful for Charlotte to contain and seep into reality even when she does not want them to
    • Due to the close connection to the old white witch, her rotting corpse seems to be plaguing the poor girl's dreams
    • More powerful spells can have some serious negative effects on Charlotte's health

    Lineage:

    Curse of the White Witch
    Description: There was once a village north beyond the snowy mountain pass that lived peacefully and abundantly. It was lead by a kind and just ruler, Margery the White. She was nicknamed as such because she was a caster, a powerful one at that. It is because of her that the village can sleep peacefully at night and plant crops without having to worry of them freezing or dying due to lack of basic nutrients. You see, she had placed a powerful incantation around the land which prevents would be wrongdoers from entering their domain. It also keeps the weather and land in check, making their land an idealistic hideaway.
    However, their happiness did not last long for a powerful dark Magus heard of their place, the paradise in the frozen wasteland they called it. He wanted that for his own as well, so with an army of shades and demons, he invaded the village. He had a hard time breaking through the barrier but broke through he did. The powerful white witch tried her best to defend their land but because of the sheer number of enemies and with too many to protect her effort were rendered useless.  With no hope left, she did something forbidden to all white casters, and that is to use dark magic. With her new found power, she was able to turn the tides, she was able to obliterate the dark Magi and his evil horde. But it was after when she got a second glance that she realized the error of her ways. Not only did she destroy her enemies, but she also wiped out half the land and its inhabitants. Ashamed of her deed, she fled town and was never to be seen again.
    Some say she took her life as punishment of her sin, others say she regressed and turned into an old and evil crone who lives in a spooky dark forest, while others say she lived the rest of her days as a simple and normal human with her husband and children.
    Ability: Those who were descended from her line are gifted with great magic regeneration. It also allows them to use Chaos blast. The melding of light and dark magic creating pure raw power which is formless and non-elemental.  Chaos magic is effective against any type of magic and inedible to all forms of slayers. However it is weaker against steel or any form of metal. Making it less effective against physical attacks or defensive attacks made with any metal weapon or armour.
    Usage:
    Passive: 5% MP regeneration.
    Gains an offensive "Chaos" elemental blast attack as a signature spell(max A-rank) OR normal spell of user-rank (S-rank Max) that must be made in addition to the user’s spells in their magic.

    Unique Abilities:
    Puppeteer’s Control - Seth the puppeteer is an unknown entity that has been by Charlotte’s side as long as she can remember. They are not of this world and have no physical form. However, they can still help, or even harm the girl as much as they feel like. During any situation, the puppeteer can take free control over the puppet’s body and mind, resulting in Charlotte’s eyes becoming colored gold and her behavior changing drastically. While in this state, Charlotte’s overall damage is increased by 50%, but she will also take 25% extra damage from attacks of all kinds. Seth is the only one who can use Chaos and Dark fusion spells of this magic, meaning this possession is necessary for them to be cast. This possession is toggle on/off ability.

    Furthermore, the puppeteer always has stored backup data of their puppet, which allows them to freely revive her if the need arises. This is mostly done in the form of “Rewind” where Charlotte’s body slowly returns in time to the point where she was still alive and well. Seth can choose if the girl will or won’t remember her own death during this process. Rewind has plot-related uses and can only be used with OOC permission from everyone present in the thread where it’s used.

    Magic overflow - As the lineage of the White Witch keeps on constantly feeding Charlotte's body with magical energy, it is only natural that some of it leak out of her body because it simply cannot be contained. This happens passively all the time and without the girl's knowledge. All leaked magical energy manifests itself as objects and events within the real world. This can be anything from imaginary friends becoming temporarily real to growing the most beautiful and alien flower in the entire world. Purely plot-related use.

    Shift of Worlds - Earthland is only one of many different dimensions in the great infinite void. Charlotte learned this as she gained more control over her heritage of magic, becoming capable of opening gates to these other worlds and sometimes even forcing a complete shift. Getting hang of this ability, the girl became capable of completely changing the battlefield as she moves everyone to an entirely different world. While this is mostly completely aesthetical, it can sometimes give her and her team a small terrain advantage over the enemy. However, it is easy to conquer this ability with any spells that can overpower or outright cancel spacial magic. There is no limit to how many different worlds can be used in a single thread, however, if this ability is used during combat, there will be 5 posts cooldown until it can be used again. If other player characters are in the thread and thus affected by this ability, OOC permission is required.

    Heart of Cards - People used many different tools to channel their magic throughout the years of the mortal land. Sometimes even to support caster magic rather than to control holder one, such as it is in this case. After some research, Charlotte had found out that Margery, the first White Witch also used a special set of cards to go along with her powers. And albeit nowhere near the power of the original, the young aspiring white witch managed to create her own set to aid her in battle. However, due to their limited power, only one of the cards can be used at a time. Once activated, the card will take on a certain power that will last on for an indefinite amount of time until another card is chosen to replace the previous one. To activate each card, an appropriate spell must be cast. These will cost MP like any regular spell and their rank will determine the power of the card. These spells have the "Card" type.

    Holy Blood - As the white magic flows through Charlotte at all times, it is only natural that her whole body would be blessed by it at this point. Her blood which can represent one’s life has become fused with her magic and gained special properties, albeit ones that might be a bit difficult to utilize. Everyone who ingests the girl’s blood will be calmed by it, curing all rage, confusion and other negative mental effects of lower or equal rank to Charlotte. Effects of higher rank can be cured as well, but only with OOC permission from the one who induced them. It also goes without saying that the girl’s blood must be spilled before it can be accessed, meaning she has to suffer damage.

    Name: Touch of Life
    Rank: B
    Type: Healing
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: Once per post
    Description: Core of White magic that brings forth new life, nourishment, and protection. A touch of Life shows just how connected this magic is to the essence of all within every living being, bringing it forth and mending it. On the outside, this will simply appear as a white aura surrounding one’s body and repair any damage that is visible, or even invisible to the naked eye. Each use will heal regular damage for the spell’s rank (60) and leave the target feeling refreshed as if they were born anew.
    Strengths:

    • Can heal any target, including Charlotte herself if she requires it

    Weaknesses:

    • Can only affect one target at a time, forcing others in need to wait additional turn before they can be healed as well
    • Cannot be affected by buffs that increase spell/healing effectiveness of any rank


    Name: White Gate
    Rank: D
    Type: Teleportation
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: Once per post
    Description: Using power similar to her world traveling one, but smaller in scale, Charlotte can open a holy gate around her body and transport herself anywhere in 15 meters radius. The transportation is instantaneous and cannot be interrupted once it begins. From the outside, it will appear as the girl’s body dissipating into white particles and reappearing elsewhere.
    Strengths:

    • The effect takes place nearly instantly, meaning Charlotte can get out of tight spot with a simple thought of this spell

    Weaknesses:

    • Range on the teleportation is rather limited, only 15 meters
    • Range of the teleportation also cannot be extended by any means, even buffs from other, stronger mages
    • It’s impossible to teleport behind walls or other objects if the terrain behind them is unknown to Charlotte, as she doesn’t want to get stuck in a wall or something

    Name: Card of the Apprentice
    Rank: D
    Type: Card ; healing ; buff
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 2 posts
    Description: Pulling out the card of the Apprentice, Charlotte will cast it through her Heart of Cards Unique Ability and provide the effects to the UA with this activation spell. As one could expect, the card of the apprentice is the most basic one and the girl's first success at imitating the magic of Margery. But while the card's potency is small, even the tiniest bit of help can sometimes make a difference. Card of the apprentice increases effectiveness of Charlotte's healing spells by 15%.
    Strengths:

    • Can give Charlotte the extra edge in healing that will allow her to save an ally on the verge of death

    Weaknesses:

    • As the card is of a low rank, its potency is not as great as it could be if placed in higher ranks or the unique ability itself
    • Outside of working as an activation spell that provides bonuses to the Unique ability, this spell does nothing

    Description: Utilizing her powers, Charlotte gained a power that allows her to dive into the memories of anything that is both alive and dead. A direct touch is required to do this, as well as a great deal of concentration that will make the girl unable to react to her surroundings and defend herself while she’s casting. If used on other player characters, OOC permission is required. In this case, the spell can be used on any target, regardless of their rank.
    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given person or object

    Weaknesses:

    • Charlotte will be unable to defend herself or even react to actions of others while casting this spell
    • Can traumatize the girl if she dives into dark, repressed memories of someone or something


    Name: Gift of Senses
    Rank: D
    Type: Enhancement ; Buff ; AoE
    Duration: 3 posts
    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Description: Through the power of White Magic, Charlotte can purify sense of all her allies that are no further than 30 meters away from her when casting and enhance them beyond the limit mortals are restrained by. Once the effect takes place, all allies affected will gain senses equal to those of a slayer, meaning enhanced hearing, vision, sense of smell and other attributes associated with perceiving the world around you. Even the caster is affected by this, but so are the enemies if they manage to get close enough. If used on slayers, their already increased senses get enhanced even further to the point when one can be capable of hearing the heartbeat of others, see miles away nearly perfectly and even pin point locations of moving objects via hearing.
    Strengths:

    • Spell capable of boosting senses of even regular mages to the level of slayers
    • Affects both Charlotte and all allies around her as long as they’re not too far away

    Weaknesses:

    • Enhanced senses can sometimes bring trouble to some, as their brain might not deal well with so much new information coming its way
    • Boosts only one’s senses, not their strength, speed and other physical attributes that slayers possess
    • Can affect enemies as well if they manage to get inside of the 15 meters wide casting circle in time


    Name: Seraph’s Call
    Rank: D
    Type: Movement Support ; Buff ; AoE
    Duration: 3 posts
    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Description: Charlotte’s white magic is usually formless. Its attribute is indeed holy, but there is no shape to it, as one would assume. However, the girl can solidify a bit of her magic and transform it into something that is usually associated with holy attribute - light. With this solid light, she can form wings for everyone who is no further than 30 meters away from her at the moment of casting. These wings are not actually connected to one’s body and appear as sparkling semi-transparent white crystal forming beautiful wings if intricate shapes. However, they are easily destroyed by spells of C-rank or higher, canceling the newly gained flight ability prematurely. Charlotte is affected by this spell as well. Once the wings are formed, they can fly at the speed equal to the mage’s sprint.
    Strengths:

    • Can affect both Charlotte and any number of allies as long as they are in range, giving them all flight ability
    • With the speed of mage’s sprint, they can be fairly fast method of transport

    Weaknesses:

    • Everyone who wants to be affected has to be present during the casting rather than the duration afterwards
    • These wings do not add anything to the mage’s offensive or defensive powers, though the do look pretty
    • It’s rather easy to shatter these wings with long-ranged attacks of any type as long as they’re of C-rank or higher

    C-rank Spells:

    Name: Card of the Wishing Well
    Rank: C
    Type: Card ; Recovery ; Aura
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description: Pulling out the card of the Wishing Well, Charlotte will cast it through her Heart of Cards Unique Ability and provide the effects to the UA with this activation spell. This specific card is attuned to resonated with the outer world and ethernano hidden within it, drawing the energy close and then nudging it into the physical bodies present around the card's holder. In other words, all who stand no more than 60 meters away from the white witch when she has this card active will recover 4% MP per post, unless they already possess MP recovery of their own at all. This does not affect Charlotte herself as the blood of the White Witch flows through her veins and gives her an already superior Mana regeneration on her own.
    Strengths:

    • Gives strong per post MP recovery to all allies within the designated range

    Weaknesses:

    • Does not work on those who already possess increased MP recovery of any kind
    • Does not affect Charlotte herself at all due to her already having a strong passive MP recovery
    • Outside of working as an activation spell that provides bonuses to the Unique ability, this spell does nothing


    Name: Warmth of White Spring
    Rank: C
    Type: Movement Support ; Buff ; AoE
    Duration: 5 posts
    Cooldown: 6 posts
    Description: Just as warmth of the Sun after long Winter can bring flowers and greenery back to life, it can also bring energy to humans and other sentient beings. With this spell, Charlotte can accumulate her white magic and mimic the Sun, sending out a wave of warm energy that reaches up to 60 meters in all directions from her. All allies caught in this wave will feel pleasant and gentle warmth in their bodies, their blood pumping faster by the moment. Enveloped in faint white aura, their speed will be increased by 30% for the entire duration. Charlotte too is affected by this when casting.
    Strengths:

    • Reasonably strong speed increase for both Charlotte and her allies if they’re standing close enough as she casts the spell

    Weaknesses:

    • While faint, the white aura will always surround those affected by this spell. This can be a sign to grow more cautious to the more observant of enemies
    • The wave of warmth that brings the boost to speed is somewhat limited in it’s range, meaning all allies have to be rather close to Charlotte when she casts this spell


    Name: Gift of Life
    Rank: C
    Type: Revival
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 10 posts
    Description: White magic was originally thought to be the opposite of dark arts, something that would conquer death itself. And while it is true that the White magic that Charlotte wields could be described as magic of life itself, it was never made to conquer anything. Rather than that, the magic was formed to merely help others. And with the core of it’s power, the girl became capable of even bringing fallen folk back from the realm of the dead! Gathering huge amount of magical energy inside of her and then releasing it into a dead body, she can bring it’s soul back and rejuvenate them to a point where living is once again possible. Once performed, the target is revived with 1 point of health, though their MP is not affected at all and remains same as it was before death. Their spells will also enter cooldown if 3 posts at the moment of revival. But of course something like this places great weight onto the girl’s body, making the spell’s cooldown equal to the one of S-ranked spell.
    Strengths:

    • Ability capable of bringing even the dead back to life
    • Can bring back anyone, regardless of the way they were defeated, their rank or power

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to the power required to perform this spell, extremely long cooldown is created before Charlotte can cast again
    • It is impossible for Charlotte to cast any other spells in the same post where she uses this spell. That includes any form of healing that she would normally use to help the revived person
    • A big show of magical energy that precedes the revival can draw attention of anyone on the battlefield
    • Those revived by this spell will return with only 1 HP and suffering from a great headache for a single post

    B-rank Spells:

    Name: Card of the Youth
    Rank: B
    Type: Card ; healing ; Aura
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Description: Pulling out the card of the Youth, Charlotte will cast it through her Heart of Cards Unique Ability and provide the effects to the UA with this activation spell. The card of the Youth is filled with the energy that comes from the body of those in their early years, their stamina seemingly infinite and always supporting their body. Even those of older years can feel as if they were several decades younger in the presence of this card, as all who are no further than 100 meters will recover half of B-ranked damage per post (30). This does include Charlotte as well.
    Strengths:

    • Provides a decent HP recovery, as well as making allies feel strong and young regardless of their actual age

    Weaknesses:

    • While the card does provide enhanced regeneration and makes everyone feel young and strong, the feeling is merely that and can make people overly confident and active
    • Outside of working as an activation spell that provides bonuses to the Unique ability, this spell does nothing


    Name: Grand Rejuvenation
    Rank: B
    Type: Healing ; AoE ; HoT
    Duration: 5 posts
    Cooldown: 6 posts
    Description: The White Witch was known for all that she had done for her village. As long as she was present, crops would grow even during winter and they would always bear healthy and fresh fruits filled with life. She gave nourishment to the land and made it fertile. Charlotte too can imbue the land with this white magic, however, her fish is to aid those standing in front of her before anything else. When casting this spell, the land of up to 100 meters all around her will be imbued with her magic, white vein-like cracks appearing in the soil. From these, her magical energy will flow and aid everyone nearby. All allies within range will be healed for 50% of B-ranked damage (30) instantly. But for as long as they remain inside of the designated zone, they will continue regenerating that exact same amount of health for the entire spell’s duration. This only affects those Charlotte is allied to, not her enemies.
    Strengths:

    • Powerful healing ability that can heal up to 250% of the spell’s damage if allies manage to stay in the designated zone for it’s entire duration
    • Does not affect enemies, even if they managed to get inside of the healing zone

    Weaknesses:

    • The spell provides great visual effect that clearly marks the ground that will provide healing to allies. This also means that enemies can see it just as well, getting a good idea of where they should not allow anyone to get
    • The initial healing is rather small, forcing allies to limit the area they move in if they wish to benefit from the spell as much as they can
    • Once casted, the healing zone will remain stationary even if Charlotte moves away from it. This means enemies can force everyone out of it and render it completely useless
    • Can only be used on solid ground. If the girl finds herself in an aerial battle or perhaps beneath water’s surface, casting this spell will be out of the question


    Name: Purity
    Rank: B
    Type: Healing ; Cleansing
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Description: Charlotte’s holy blood can have positive effects for those who drink it, yes. But it can be sometimes difficult to give someone something like your own blood for drinking. For that reason, the White Witch was blessed with spell that has effect similar to that. Upon casting, everyone who is no further than 100 meters from the girl will have their body purified by the white magic. This can cleanse all effects from nearby allies as long as they were caused by spells of equal rank. Spells one rank above will have their negative effects instantly reduced by 50% and negative effects caused by a spell two ranks higher will not be cleansed at all. Charlotte will also receive one of the negative effects that she cured via this spell for herself, as not everything can be simply cleansed with perfection.
    Strengths:

    • Can purify all nearby allies from negative effects that were caused by spells and abilities up to A-rank

    Weaknesses:

    • If the spell is performed successfully, Charlotte will receive one of the cleansed effects for herself as penalty
    • Charlotte herself cannot be affected by this spell and her own negative effects will not be cleansed


    Name: Euangelion
    Rank: B
    Type: Lineage ; Buff ; Healing
    Duration: 4 posts
    Cooldown: 5 posts
    Description: The White Witch tried to protect her people from the outside invaders and those who were allied with her were treated well. But in the end, this mindset had punished her and chained her by the iron of white and black, the chaos she had formed and used to destroy those who opposed her. But in the end, the wish for prosperity remained and what became a curse for Margery became a reward and a letter of good news for her descendence. Bringing forth the power of her blood, Charlotte can tap into the unbridled potential of a White Witch. Easily her most powerful healing spell, a white magical circle appears above an area of 50 in diameter meters, roughly 100 meters above the ground and several chains colored black and white will descend at the speed of 20 meters per second, circling the area and filling it with a comforting energy. This heals all that are present in the spell's area by 75% of B-ranked spell damage (45) and boosts their damage resistance by 20% for the next 4 posts.
    As a lineage perk, this spell will rank up with Charlotte up to S-rank.
    Strengths:

    • Does not only heal those in range, but also boosts their defense for limited amount of time
    • As the spell is part of a lineage, it taps into the hidden powers of the White Witch and the chaos she created, easily becoming stronger than the rest of Charlotte's spells

    Weaknesses:

    • The spell does not differentiate allies and enemies, providing healing and enhanced defense for anyone who is close enough. This gives enemies a chance to get into the range and benefit from the spell as well
    • The effects and healing begin only once the chains hit the ground and start spinning around the affected area, making the cast at least 5 seconds long. Anything can happen in such a long timeframe, especially when in the heat of a battle
    • As the spell is part of a lineage, it will grow in power as Charlotte does. However, this also means growing cooldown among other things

    Name: Wings of Darkness
    Rank: C
    Type: Movement Support
    Fused Spells: Seraph’s Call (D) ; Warmth of White Spring (C)
    Description: Turning the warmth and wings that are meant to help others pitch black, Seth can turn the magic selfish, make the spell serve them alone. Upon casting, wings of darkness will manifest behind Charlotte’s possessed body, appearing as black crystals that are not quite connected to her body physically, but still capable of giving her the ability of flight. Once in air, Seth can move at speed 30% higher than the one of their sprint and free change the shape and size of the wings for the sake of flexibility in smaller spaces. Once formed, it takes at least 3 spells of equal rank to this spell’s to break the wings.

    Cooldown: 6 posts
    Strengths:

    • Enhanced speed along with ability of flight gives Seth great mobility at the battlefield for limited time

    Weaknesses:

    • While it takes three whole C-ranked spells to break these apart, they do not add anything to the mage’s defensive powers, making them unusable for guarding
    • Unlike the original spells, these wings are meant for Seth alone and will not grow any allies even if they are close at the moment of casting

    For all heavy melee damage can the damage be 150% and not 200?? This is so others have a chance to attack enemies and such when in jobs and such, and this is so it makes it fair for other players if they get to job Smile

    That is literally all that I see with this ^^ When you fix it, just bump it Very Happy

    Curse of the White Witch
    Description: There was once a village north beyond the snowy mountain pass that lived peacefully and abundantly. It was lead by a kind and just ruler, Margery the White. She was nicknamed as such because she was a caster, a powerful one at that. It is because of her that the village can sleep peacefully at night and plant crops without having to worry of them freezing or dying due to lack of basic nutrients. You see, she had placed a powerful incantation around the land which prevents would be wrong doers from entering their domain. It also keeps the weather and land in check, making their land an idealistic hideaway.
    However, their happiness did not last long for a powerful dark Magus heard of their place, the paradise in the frozen wasteland they called it. He wanted that for his own as well, so with an army of shades and demons, he invaded the village. He had a hard time breaking through the barrier but broke through he did. The powerful white witch tried her best to defend their land but because of the sheer number of enemies and with too many to protect her effort were rendered useless.  With no hope left, she did something forbidden to all white casters, and that is to use dark magic. With her new found power, she was able to turn the tides, she was able to obliterate the dark Magi and his evil horde. But it was after when she got a second glance that she realized the error of her ways. Not only did she destroy her enemies, but she also wiped out half the land and its inhabitants. Ashamed of her deed, she fled town and was never to be seen again.
    Some say she took her life as punishment of her sin, others say she regressed and turned into an old and evil crone who lives in a spooky dark forest, while others say she lived the rest of her days as a simple and normal human with her husband and children.
    Ability: Those who were descended from her line are gifted with great magic regeneration. It also allows them to use Chaos blast. The melding of light and dark magic creating pure raw power which is formless and non-elemental.  Chaos magic is effective against any type of magic and inedible to all forms of slayers. However it is weaker against steel or any form of metal. Making it less effective against physical attacks or defensive attacks made with any metal weapon or armour.
    Usage:
    Passive: 5% MP regeneration.
    Gains an offensive "Chaos" elemental blast attack as a signature spell(max A-rank) OR normal spell of user-rank (S-rank Max) that must be made in addition to the user’s spells in their magic.

    Unique Abilities:
    Magic overflow - As the lineage of the White Witch keeps on constantly feeding Charlotte's body with magical energy, it is only natural that some of it leaks out of her body because it simply cannot be contained. This happens passively all the time and without the girl's knowledge. All leaked magical energy manifests itself as objects and events within the real world. This can be anything from imaginary friends becoming temporarily real to others to growing the most beautiful and alien flower in the entire world. Purely plot-related use.

    Direct control - In case of extreme emergency where combat is absolutely unavoidable, Seth the puppeteer can take a direct control over Charlotte and her body. This results in the girl's eye coloring changing to bright yellow as well as a large number of purple and black crystals growing all over her body, forming some form of armor, claws on both hands and feet and mainly a flexible tail that can extend up to 15 meters at any given time. In this state, the girl's body gains increased speed (+25%) and all her melee attacks will be always counted as heavy (150% melee damage). After the ability turns off, Charlotte will have no memory of the time when she was controlled. This is toggle on/off ability.

    Rewind point - Sometimes direct control is enough and the puppet comes to a great harm. That is simply unacceptable for Seth, as he requires Charlotte in order to interact with the physical world. In the most dire of cases, the god-like being behind the scenes can use ability that will rewind back time and bring Charlotte as well as anyone else who was affected back to a previous, safer point. Due to the nature of this spell, it can only be used when Charlotte actually dies by any means. If there are other people present in the thread, OOC permission is required.

    Eyes of the Puppeteer - As a being out of this world that can be present in the world just about through anything, Seth is capable of gathering information that would not normally be available to someone. With his insight and abilities, he can temporarily posses any living being just like he does Charlotte and learn something about them, giving that information to the girl afterwards. This has 5 posts cooldown and if the target is another player character, OOC permission is required.

    Description: Upon activation, a veil of darkness and light forms itself around Charlotte's body and mixes together to create a devastating silk-like material that follows the girl's movements. It never touches her and will always remain at least few centimeters away from her skin, following the movement of her hands and essentially mimics her attacks, dealing additional heavy melee damage (150% melee damage). Alternatively, the veil can be controlled by the girl's mind and attack in different patterns that do not follow the girl's actual attacks. However, the veil is designed to cut through flesh and nothing else, making it rather useless against shielding spells.
    Strengths:

    • Gives Charlotte's melee attacks extra damage that increases every time the girl rank up
    • Can be controlled remotely to attack in different way than Charlotte, making enemy's life harder

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot be used for defensive purposes at all, as all other attacks will simply go through the veil
    • Cannot move further than 15 meters away from Charlotte, regardless of the spell's rank
    • Can only damage living flesh of another being, completely ineffective against any defensive spells

    Description: Combining the force of light and dark, Charlotte is capable of temporarily tearing apart reality itself as she opens a gate which allows her to traverse space itself. In more simply words, she can teleport anywhere as far as 30 meters away from her original position nearly instantly. The range increases with the rank of the spell.
    Strengths:

    • Teleportation is nearly instant, meaning that Charlotte can quickly get out of a tight spot and save Seth the trouble of rewinding time

    Weaknesses:

    • The range of teleportation cannot be extended by external sources, no matter their power
    • Unfortunately, Charlotte cannot teleport behind walls and closed doors, as she could accidentally end up inside them instead


    Name: Well of Chaos
    Rank: D
    Type: Chaos magic
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: Once per post
    Description: Fusing the energies of light and dark can be incredibly dangerous and should never be attempted outside of special circumstances. Only thanks to her heritage can Charlotte control both nearly perfectly when she puts her mind to it. However, with this spell she makes a small mistake on purpose to form a black hole that pulls in all it can for a brief moment. This does not affect herself, but will pull in all that is up to 15 meters away from her, regardless of the enemy's rank. No damage is dealt in the process however.
    Strengths:

    • Momentarily seals the enemy's movement, pulling them closer against their will
    • Affects all enemies, regardless of their rank or power

    Weaknesses:

    • Has no effect against foes with immunity to knockback or other movement impairments
    • Deals absolutely no damage, even if the enemy gets close enough to touch the hole itself
    • Lasts only for a short moment, which makes it a spell that needs to be used strategically

    Description: Utilizing her powers, Charlotte can bring out memories of not living objects withing the world. This can show her what happened to and around the object or in rare situations, even echoes of the owner of said object. The magic can only be used on inanimate objects and will do absolutely nothing if used on the living. The memory is also only displayed to Charlotte alone and it will be up to her if she shares it with anyone else.
    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given object

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot be used on living targets, this includes plant and artificial life
    • No combat utilization at all

    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given person

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot be used on non-living targets, this includes sentient machines, undead and similar beings
    • Charlotte will be unable to use any spell in the post after this is used due to the great stress
    • Can traumatize the girl if she dives into dark, repressed memories of someone
    • Requires OOC permission when used on another player character

    Description: Tapping into the source of darkness, Charlotte is capable of invading mind of other living beings and altering them slightly. As this is spell of a lower rank, she can only adjust and change certain emotions of the affected, which she mostly uses to pacify angry and hostile enemies, though that is not the only use of this power. As this spell falls into the category, it causes Charlotte some harm with each use, even when used on allies to help them in any way.
    Strengths:

    • Can alter emotions of others which allows Charlotte to pacify enemies that are not dead set on killing her no matter what
    • It is possible to use this ability on allies to fix some of their negative emotions that might be blinding them in the moment

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot completely change one's views on the world, as the spell is only temporary and not permanent change
    • Does not work very well on those with emotions fueled by powerful memories and events, such as extreme anger or sadness
    • Upon casting, Charlotte will start coughing out ink which will momentarily disable her movements
    • Requires OOC permission when used on another player character

However, it is rarely attempted to control such force for it’s destructive properties and low chance of being controlled in any meaningful way. Every living being, or sometimes even non-living ones, have a life force inside of their body which the White Witch calls “Aurora”. White magic operates and restores this energy within others and even the witch herself in order to heal and purify one’s body and very soul. People often mistake magic of white for magic of light, though the two are actually quite different. Magic of White is without any elements and thus cannot even be classified as holy. It is simple white, the life itself.

    The second part is little bit less welcome in this world, yet just as necessary for life itself to exist. Magic of Black, or as some call it, dark arts. However, just like with the white part of these powers, black is without element and represents death itself. It is a destructive magic that annihilates and corrodes all in it’s path, no matter what it is. In a sense, the Magic of Black feeds on aurora and transforms it into something else entirely, which poisons living bodies instead. Such is the destination of all mortal creatures, as none of them can truly escape the embrace of final rest. Something that makes it quite surprising that immortal being such as the puppeteer can actually understand it.

    Finally, there is chaos. Normally, something like that cannot be truly controlled and used to one’s advantage. That is the very nature of chaos after all. However, the powers of White and Black eventually became one in the blood of White Witch. And now that the puppeteer can be in charge of this power, even chaos becomes usable as a weapon of mass devastation. This is of course something Charlotte is strongly against, which is why only Seth themselves use this part of the magic.     Puppeteer’s Control - Seth the puppeteer is an unknown entity that has been by Charlotte’s side as long as she can remember. They are not of this world and have no physical form. However, they can still help, or even harm the girl as much as they feel like. During any situation, the puppeteer can take free control over the puppet’s body and mind, resulting in Charlotte’s eyes becoming colored gold and her behaviour changing drastically. While in this state, Charlotte’s overall damage is increased by 50%, but she will also take 25% extra damage from attacks of all kinds. Seth is the only one who can use Chaos and Dark fusion spells of this magic, meaning this possession is necessary for them to be cast. This possession is toggle on/off ability.

    Furthermore, the puppeteer always has stored back-up data of their puppet, which allows them to freely revive her if the need arises. This is mostly done in the form of “Rewind” where Charlotte’s body slowly returns in time to the point where she was still alive and well. Seth can choose if the girl will or won’t remember her own death during this process. Rewind has plot-related uses and can only be used with OOC permission from everyone present in the thread where it’s used.

    Shift of Worlds - Earthland is only one of many different dimensions in the great infinite void. Charlotte learned this as she gained more control over her heritage of magic, becoming capable of opening gates to these other worlds and sometimes even forcing a complete shift. Getting hang of this ability, the girl became capable of completely changing the battlefield as she moves everyone to entirely different world. While this is mostly completely aesthetical, it can sometimes give her and her team a small terrain advantage over the enemy. However, it is easy to conquer this ability with any spells that can overpower or outright cancel spacial magic. There is no limit to how many different worlds can be used in a single thread, however, if this ability is used during combat, there will be 5 posts cooldown until it can be used again. Due to having a cooldown, this ability also requires a set duration; however, I'm willing to have an infinite duration, as long as it's been discussed with the people in the thread before use.

    Guardian Deity - Charlotte is a kind soul. Perhaps too kind, as her magic follows her desires and even protects her enemies now, as well as her allies. This does not mean that others cannot be defeated anymore, however, it does mean no character can be killed inside of a thread with Charlotte. Instead, both player characters and NPCs are defeated by being knocked out when their HP reaches 0. This ability does not affect Charlotte herself and if she is killed, this effect will stop taking place. This is technically already a rule on the site that characters cannot be killed, but go unconscious when their HP reaches 0. You can keep the ability if you want, but I highly suggest changing it to something more useful.

    Holy Blood - As the white magic flows through Charlotte at all times, it is only natural that her whole body would be blessed by it at this point. Her blood which can represent one’s life has become fused with her magic and gained special properties, albeit ones that might be a bit difficult to utilize. Everyone who ingests the girl’s blood will be calmed by it, curing all rage, confusion and other negative mental effects of lower or equal rank to Charlotte. Effects of higher rank can be cured as well, but only with OOC permission from the one who induced them. It also goes without saying that the girl’s blood must be spilled before it can be accessed, meaning she has to suffer damage.

    Name: Chaos Molding
    Rank: B
    Type: Offensive ; Lineage
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: Instant
    Description: Chaos of darkness and holy light is shapeless and destructive. However, Seth, the puppeteer who is disconnected from the magic itself and world where it resides became capable of giving it shape and gaining perfect control over the otherwise completely unstable process. With this, whenever Seth is in control of Charlotte’s body, he can freely manipulate chaos energy, melding of light and dark, give it any shape they desires and annihilate their enemies. Range of this molding is 50 meters and maximum, speed of the chaos magic reaching up to 25 m/s and it’s damage always appropriate for the spell’s rank (60) regardless of number of attack performed with this spell in a single post. However, if multiple enemies are attacked during one single post, the damage will be equally divided between them.
    Strengths:

    • Offers a great deal of freedom in attacking the enemy, as attacks of any shape can be formed with this spell
    • While the spell has set maximal range, it’s creations can vary in size and shape freely as long as they do not exceed this maximum
    • Chaos energy cannot be consumed by slayers of any kind, no matter their own element

    Weaknesses:

    • Even when used for multiple strikes on a single enemy, the damage will not be different from a singular, more powerful attack
    • No matter how many times this spell hits the enemy, it cannot do more than 100% of it’s regular spell damage on it’s own. If there are multiple hits, the damage will be divided equally between them.

    Name: Touch of Life

    Description: Core of White magic that brings forth new life, nourishment and protection. Touch of Life shows just how connected this magic is to the essence of all within every living being, bringing it forth and mending it. On the outside, this will simply appear as white aura surrounding one’s body and repairing any damage that is visible, or even invisible to the naked eye. Each use will heal regular damage for the spell’s rank (60) and leave the target feeling refresh, as if they were born anew. Charlotte can also infuse the spell with her own life force, receiving half of B-ranked damage in the process (30) to double the effectiveness of healing (120). Unfortunately, signature spells are only allowed one effect and having additional healing damage is considered a second effect, especially if she does something in order to get that extra damage. Signature spells are capable of only dealing a solid 100% damage of their rank.
    Strengths:

    • Can heal any target, including Charlotte herself if she requires it

    Weaknesses:

    • Can only affect one target at a time, forcing others in need to wait additional turn before they can be healed as well
    • If Charlotte wants to make the spell more effective, she has to sacrifice portion of her own life force and damage her body in the process of casting


    Name: White Gate

    Type: Teleportation

    Description: Using power similar to her world traveling one, but smaller in scale, Charlotte can open a holy gate around her body and transport herself anywhere in 15 meters radius. The transportation is instantaneous and cannot be interrupted once it begins. From the outside, it will appear as the girl’s body dissipating into white particles and reappearing elsewhere.
    Strengths:

    • The effect takes place nearly instantly, meaning Charlotte can get out of tight spot with a simple thought of this spell

    Weaknesses:

    • Range on the teleportation is rather limited, only 15 meters
    • Range of the teleportation also cannot be extended by any means, even buffs from other, stronger mages
    • It’s impossible to teleport behind walls or other objects if the terrain behind them is unknown to Charlotte, as she doesn’t want to get stuck in a wall or something

The memory is also only displayed to Charlotte alone and it will be up to her if she shares it with anyone else. If the object is related to a played character, please additionally add that this spell can only be done with OOC permission of the other player.
    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given object

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot be used on living targets, this includes plant and artificial life
    • No combat utilization at all

    Description: Counterpart to the Synthetic memory, this spell allows Charlotte to dive into the memories of anything that is alive. A direct touch is required to do this, as well as a great deal of concentration that will make the girl unable to react to her surroundings and defend herself while she’s casting. Only memory of living beings can be read, not one of inanimate objects. Like Synthetic Memory, I would like it specified that if a played character is in question, it requires OOC permission of the other player.
    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given person

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot be used on non-living targets, this includes sentient machines, undead and similar beings
    • Charlotte will be unable to defend herself or even react to actions of others while casting this spell
    • Can traumatize the girl if she dives into dark, repressed memories of someone

    Description: Through the power of White Magic, Charlotte can purify sense of all her allies that are no further than 15 meters away from her when casting and enhance them beyond the limit mortals are restrained by. Once the effect takes place, all allies affected will gain senses equal to those of a slayer, meaning enhanced hearing, vision, sense of smell and other attributes associated with perceiving the world around you. Even the caster is affected by this, but so are the enemies if they manage to get close enough. If used on slayers, their already increased senses get enhanced even further. If slayers' senses are enhanced even farther, please specify a percentage increased, or at least explain how much their senses are enhanced by.
    Strengths:

    • Spell capable of boosting senses of even regular mages to the level of slayers
    • Affects both Charlotte and all allies around her as long as they’re not too far away

    Weaknesses:

    • Enhanced senses can sometimes bring trouble to some, as their brain might not deal well with so much new information coming it’s way
    • Boosts only one’s senses, not their strength, speed and other physical attributes that slayers possess
    • Can affect enemies as well if they manage to get inside of the 15 meters wide casting circle in time


    Name: Seraph’s Call

    Description: Charlotte’s white magic is usually formless. It’s attribute is indeed holy, but there is no shape to it, as one would assume. However, the girl can solidify a bit of her magic and transform it into something that is usually associated with holy attribute - light. With this solid light, she can form wings for everyone who is no further than 15 meters away from her at the moment of casting. These wings are not actually connected to one’s body and appear as sparkling semi-transparent white crystal forming beautiful wings if intricate shapes. However, they are easily destroyed by spells of C-rank or higher, canceling the newly gained flight ability prematurely. Charlotte is affected by this spell as well. Once the wings are formed, they can fly at the speed equal to the mage’s sprint.
    Strengths:

    • Can affect both Charlotte and any number of allies as long as they are in range, giving them all flight ability
    • With the speed of mage’s sprint, they can be fairly fast method of transport

    Weaknesses:

    • Everyone who wants to be affected has to be present during the casting rather than the duration afterwards
    • These wings do not add anything to the mage’s offensive or defensive powers, though the do look pretty
    • It’s rather easy to shatter these wings with long-ranged attacks of any type as long as they’re of C-rank or higher

    Name: Warmth of White Spring
    Rank: C
    Type: Movement Support
    Duration: 5 posts
    Cooldown: 6 posts
    Description: Just as warmth of the Sun after long Winter can bring flowers and greenery back to life, it can also bring energy to humans and other sentient beings. With this spell, Charlotte can accumulate her white magic and mimic the Sun, sending out a wave of warm energy that reaches up to 25 meters in all directions from her. All allies caught in this wave will feel pleasant and gentle warmth in their bodies, their blood pumping faster by the moment. Enveloped in faint white aura, their speed will be increased by 30% for the entire duration. Charlotte too is affected by this when casting.
    Strengths:

    • Reasonably strong speed increase for both Charlotte and her allies if they’re standing close enough as she casts the spell

    Weaknesses:

    • While faint, the white aura will always surround those affected by this spell. This can be a sign to grow more cautious to the more observant of enemies
    • The wave of warmth that brings the boost to speed is somewhat limited in it’s range, meaning all allies have to be rather close to Charlotte when she casts this spell


    Name: Gift of Life
    Rank: C
    Type: Revival
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 10 posts
    Description: White magic was originally thought to be the opposite of dark arts, something that would conquer death itself. And while it is true that the White magic that Charlotte wields could be described as magic of life itself, it was never made to conquer anything. Rather than that, the magic was formed to merely help others. And with the core of it’s power, the girl became capable of even bringing fallen folk back from the realm of the dead! Gathering huge amount of magical energy inside of her and then releasing it into a dead body, she can bring it’s soul back and rejuvenate them to a point where living is once again possible. But of course something like this places great weight onto the girl’s body, making the spell’s cooldown equal to the one of S-ranked spell. With this spell, I'm going to ask that you specify if a played character is brought back to life how much of their health and magic power is raised and that any of their spells are set on cooldown for a minimum of 3 or 4 posts.
    Strengths:

    • Ability capable of bringing even the dead back to life
    • Can bring back anyone, regardless of the way they were defeated, their rank or power

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to the power required to perform this spell, extremely long cooldown is created before Charlotte can cast again
    • It is impossible for Charlotte to cast any other spells in the same post where she uses this spell. That includes any form of healing that she would normally use to help the revived person
    • A big show of magical energy that precedes the revival can draw attention of anyone on the battlefield
    • Those revived by this spell will return with only 1 HP and suffering from a great headache for a single post This should be stated in the spell description as well, not just the weaknesses.


    Name: Shield of White

    Type: Defense
    Duration: 2 posts

    Description: Even though the girl knows now just how dangerous the world can sometimes be, she still wants to protect everyone. And with that wish, a new spell was formed that shapes her White magic around one person to create a shining, transparent armor. This armor can only take one single attack before it shatters, however, this one single attack will be completely negated no matter it’s rank. It cannot be regardless of the spell's rank; at most, the armor can only protect against a single spell equal to or lower in rank than Charlotte. This of course means it can also be broken by a single punch of pretty much any power at all. It is possible for Charlotte to use this shield on herself.
    Strengths:

    • Protection that can deflect one single spell, but even of much greater rank than this spell’s

    Weaknesses:

    • The armor can break apart even if a small child tries to punch it, forcing the affected one to use it very careful and in the right moment
    • While the armor is transparent, it is still visible to everyone around, showing that the affected one has some kind of protection

    Name: Grand Rejuvenation

    Description: The White Witch was known for all that she had done for her village. As long as she was present, crops would grow even during winter and they would always bear healthy and fresh fruits filled with life. She gave nourishment to the land and made it fertile. Charlotte too can imbue the land with this white magic, however, her fish is to aid those standing in front of her before anything else. When casting this spell, the land of 50 meters all around her will be imbued with her magic, white vein-like cracks appearing in the soil. From these, her magical energy will flow and aid everyone nearby. All allies within range will be healed for 50% of B-ranked damage (30) instantly. But for as long as they remain inside of the designated zone, they will continue regenerating that exact same amount of health for the entire spell’s duration. This only affects those Charlotte is allied to, not her enemies.
    Strengths:

    • Powerful healing ability that can heal up to 250% of the spell’s damage if allies manage to stay in the designated zone for it’s entire duration Because the spell's duration is only 4 posts, it would heal for only 2x the user's rank in damage, not 2.5x.
    • Does not affect enemies, even if they managed to get inside of the healing zone

    Weaknesses:

    • The spell provides great visual effect that clearly marks the ground that will provide healing to allies. This also means that enemies can see it just as well, getting a good idea of where they should not allow anyone to get
    • The initial healing is rather small, forcing allies to limit the area they move in if they wish to benefit from the spell as much as they can
    • Once casted, the healing zone will remain stationary even if Charlotte moves away from it. This means enemies can force everyone out of it and render it completely useless
    • Can only be used on solid ground. If the girl finds herself in an aerial battle or perhaps beneath water’s surface, casting this spell will be out of the question

    Rank: B
    Type: Healing ; Cleansing
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Description: Charlotte’s holy blood can have positive effects for those who drink it, yes. But it can be sometimes difficult to give someone something like your own blood for drinking. For that reason, the White Witch was blessed with spell that has effect similar to that. Upon casting, everyone who is no further than 50 meters from the girl will have their body purified by the white magic. This can cleanse all effects from nearby allies as long as they were caused by spells of at least one rank higher than this spell’s own rank One rank higher would have it's effects reduced by 50%, anything equal or lower in rank to the spell would be cleansed. If the negative effects were caused by a spell two ranks higher, then purity will have no effect at all. Charlotte will also receive one of the negative effects that she cured via this spell for herself, as not everything can be simply cleansed with perfection.
    Strengths:

    • Can purify all nearby allies from negative effects that were caused by spells and abilities up to A-rank

    Weaknesses:

    • If the spell is performed successfully, Charlotte will receive one of the cleansed effects for herself as penalty
    • Charlotte herself cannot be affected by this spell and her own negative effects will not be cleansed


    Name: Cradling Mark
    Rank: B
    Type: Special Effect

    Description: The White Witch tried to protect her people from the outside invaders and those who were allied with her were treated well. However, Charlotte is different. She wants to help everyone equally. But what once was can no longer be changed and this spell remains. When cast, the girl can place a special mark on two allies that are no further than 50 meters away from her. This mark will appear somewhere on their bodies, shining with bright white color and shape reminiscent of a rose. Those who bear this mark will temporarily receive more of the white magic from Charlotte as all buffs and healing she will apply to them will be 25% stronger. She cannot place the mark on her own body however. Any healing spells can be 25% stronger, as long as they do not go above 150%, 250%, or are signature spells.
    Strengths:

    • Allows two allies to receive greater bonuses when they’re healed of supported by Charlotte

    Weaknesses:

    • Only two different marks can be distributed per casting, no more
    • Charlotte cannot place the mark onto her own body, as the white magic already flows inside of her at it’s maximum
    • The mark will always be tied to the girl’s magic alone. Even if others possess healing and supportive abilities, it will not enhance anything that does not come from Charlotte
    • Each person can have only one mark, meaning it’s impossible to stack to of them on top of each other and increase the effect even further

    Description: Turning the warmth and wings that are meant to help others pitch black, Seth can turn the magic selfish, make the spell serve them alone. Upon casting, wings of darkness will manifest behind Charlotte’s possessed body, appearing as black crystals that are not quite connected to her body physically, but still capable of giving her the ability of flight. Once in air, Seth can move at speed 50% Please lower this to a 30% increase to the sprint speed. higher than the one of their sprint and free change the shape and size of the wings for the sake of flexibility in smaller spaces. Once formed, it takes at least 3 spells of equal rank to this spell’s to break the wings.

    Bump, hopefully I did not miss anything. Also kept Guardian Deity as it is for now, as it is mainly plot-related ability that prevents other player characters from outright killing NPCs, forcing them to knocked them out instead and spare their life.

    When two opposing forces are combined, chaos is formed. That much is known by the wide public. However, it is rarely attempted to control such force for it’s destructive properties and low chance of being controlled in any meaningful way. However, a witch in the past managed to do just that, as her white magic combined with the pure blackness in order to repel enemies that were threatening her village. This became her sin and as she decided to continue living on as a regular human being, she beared a child who had this power flowing in their blood. And now, the lineage reached Charlotte. A poor girl that is possessed by an omnipotent force which simply uses her as a toy and tool which forms the puppeteer’s story. With help from such being, the power of her blood has been awakened and the magic of Black and White is now fully active and usable.

    Magic of chaos is divided into three different section. The first one being the Magic of White. Core of the powers that White With uses, it is a magic of life itself. Every living being, or sometimes even non-living ones, have a life force inside of their body which the White Witch calls “Aurora”. White magic operates and restores this energy within others and even the witch herself in order to heal and purify one’s body and very soul. People often mistake magic of white for magic of light, though the two are actually quite different. Magic of White is without any elements and thus cannot even be classified as holy. It is simple white, the life itself.

    The second part is little bit less welcome in this world, yet just as necessary for life itself to exist. Magic of Black, or as some call it, dark arts. However, just like with the white part of these powers, black is without element and represents death itself. It is a destructive magic that annihilates and corrodes all in it’s path, no matter what it is. In a sense, the Magic of Black feeds on aurora and transforms it into something else entirely, which poisons living bodies instead. Such is the destination of all mortal creatures, as none of them can truly escape the embrace of final rest. Something that makes it quite surprising that immortal being such as the puppeteer can actually understand it.

    Finally, there is chaos. Normally, something like that cannot be truly controlled and used to one’s advantage. That is the very nature of chaos after all. However, the powers of White and Black eventually became one in the blood of White Witch. And now that the puppeteer can be in charge of this power, even chaos becomes usable as a weapon of mass devastation. This is of course something Charlotte is strongly against, which is why only Seth themselves use this part of the magic. Being the same as previous portions, chaos has no set element and is described by it’s very name as something that cannot be properly understood by mortal mind.
    Strengths:

    • Allows for connection to beings that would not otherwise even exist
    • Capable of combining to light and darkness into raw non-elemental chaos that is strong against nearly all types of magic
    • Let's Charlotte control both light and darkness individually if she wants to

    Weaknesses:

    • Weak against any metal-type defenses, equipment and spells
    • Some forms of the magic are too powerful for Charlotte to contain and seep into reality even when she does not want them to
    • Due to the close connection to the old white witch, her rotting corpse seems to be plaguing the poor girl's dreams
    • More powerful spells can have some serious negative effects on Charlotte's health

    Lineage:

    Curse of the White Witch
    Description: There was once a village north beyond the snowy mountain pass that lived peacefully and abundantly. It was lead by a kind and just ruler, Margery the White. She was nicknamed as such because she was a caster, a powerful one at that. It is because of her that the village can sleep peacefully at night and plant crops without having to worry of them freezing or dying due to lack of basic nutrients. You see, she had placed a powerful incantation around the land which prevents would be wrongdoers from entering their domain. It also keeps the weather and land in check, making their land an idealistic hideaway.
    However, their happiness did not last long for a powerful dark Magus heard of their place, the paradise in the frozen wasteland they called it. He wanted that for his own as well, so with an army of shades and demons, he invaded the village. He had a hard time breaking through the barrier but broke through he did. The powerful white witch tried her best to defend their land but because of the sheer number of enemies and with too many to protect her effort were rendered useless.  With no hope left, she did something forbidden to all white casters, and that is to use dark magic. With her new found power, she was able to turn the tides, she was able to obliterate the dark Magi and his evil horde. But it was after when she got a second glance that she realized the error of her ways. Not only did she destroy her enemies, but she also wiped out half the land and its inhabitants. Ashamed of her deed, she fled town and was never to be seen again.
    Some say she took her life as punishment of her sin, others say she regressed and turned into an old and evil crone who lives in a spooky dark forest, while others say she lived the rest of her days as a simple and normal human with her husband and children.
    Ability: Those who were descended from her line are gifted with great magic regeneration. It also allows them to use Chaos blast. The melding of light and dark magic creating pure raw power which is formless and non-elemental.  Chaos magic is effective against any type of magic and inedible to all forms of slayers. However it is weaker against steel or any form of metal. Making it less effective against physical attacks or defensive attacks made with any metal weapon or armour.
    Usage:
    Passive: 5% MP regeneration.
    Gains an offensive "Chaos" elemental blast attack as a signature spell(max A-rank) OR normal spell of user-rank (S-rank Max) that must be made in addition to the user’s spells in their magic.

    Unique Abilities:
    Puppeteer’s Control - Seth the puppeteer is an unknown entity that has been by Charlotte’s side as long as she can remember. They are not of this world and have no physical form. However, they can still help, or even harm the girl as much as they feel like. During any situation, the puppeteer can take free control over the puppet’s body and mind, resulting in Charlotte’s eyes becoming colored gold and her behaviour changing drastically. While in this state, Charlotte’s overall damage is increased by 50%, but she will also take 25% extra damage from attacks of all kinds. Seth is the only one who can use Chaos and Dark fusion spells of this magic, meaning this possession is necessary for them to be cast. This possession is toggle on/off ability.

    Furthermore, the puppeteer always has stored back-up data of their puppet, which allows them to freely revive her if the need arises. This is mostly done in the form of “Rewind” where Charlotte’s body slowly returns in time to the point where she was still alive and well. Seth can choose if the girl will or won’t remember her own death during this process. Rewind has plot-related uses and can only be used with OOC permission from everyone present in the thread where it’s used.

    Magic overflow - As the lineage of the White Witch keeps on constantly feeding Charlotte's body with magical energy, it is only natural that some of it leaks out of her body because it simply cannot be contained. This happens passively all the time and without the girl's knowledge. All leaked magical energy manifests itself as objects and events within the real world. This can be anything from imaginary friends becoming temporarily real to growing the most beautiful and alien flower in the entire world. Purely plot-related use.

    Shift of Worlds - Earthland is only one of many different dimensions in the great infinite void. Charlotte learned this as she gained more control over her heritage of magic, becoming capable of opening gates to these other worlds and sometimes even forcing a complete shift. Getting hang of this ability, the girl became capable of completely changing the battlefield as she moves everyone to entirely different world. While this is mostly completely aesthetical, it can sometimes give her and her team a small terrain advantage over the enemy. However, it is easy to conquer this ability with any spells that can overpower or outright cancel spacial magic. There is no limit to how many different worlds can be used in a single thread, however, if this ability is used during combat, there will be 5 posts cooldown until it can be used again. If other player characters are in the thread and thus affected by this ability, OOC permission is required.

    Guardian Deity - Charlotte is a kind soul. Perhaps too kind, as her magic follows her desires and even protects her enemies now, as well as her allies. This does not mean that others cannot be defeated anymore, however, it does mean no character can be killed inside of a thread with Charlotte. Instead, both player characters and NPCs are defeated by being knocked out when their HP reaches 0. This ability does not affect Charlotte herself and if she is killed, this effect will stop taking place.

    Holy Blood - As the white magic flows through Charlotte at all times, it is only natural that her whole body would be blessed by it at this point. Her blood which can represent one’s life has become fused with her magic and gained special properties, albeit ones that might be a bit difficult to utilize. Everyone who ingests the girl’s blood will be calmed by it, curing all rage, confusion and other negative mental effects of lower or equal rank to Charlotte. Effects of higher rank can be cured as well, but only with OOC permission from the one who induced them. It also goes without saying that the girl’s blood must be spilled before it can be accessed, meaning she has to suffer damage.

    Description: Chaos of darkness and holy light is shapeless and destructive. However, Seth, the puppeteer who is disconnected from the magic itself and world where it resides became capable of giving it shape and gaining perfect control over the otherwise completely unstable process. With this, whenever Seth is in control of Charlotte’s body, he can freely manipulate chaos energy, melding of light and dark, give it any shape they desires and annihilate their enemies. Range of this molding is 50 meters and maximum, speed of the chaos magic reaching up to 25 m/s and it’s damage always appropriate for the spell’s rank (60) regardless of number of attack performed with this spell in a single post. However, if multiple enemies are attacked during one single post, the damage will be equally divided between them.
    Strengths:

    • Offers a great deal of freedom in attacking the enemy, as attacks of any shape can be formed with this spell
    • While the spell has set maximal range, it’s creations can vary in size and shape freely as long as they do not exceed this maximum
    • Chaos energy cannot be consumed by slayers of any kind, no matter their own element

    Weaknesses:

    • Even when used for multiple strikes on a single enemy, the damage will not be different from a singular, more powerful attack
    • No matter how many times this spell hits the enemy, it cannot do more than 100% of it’s regular spell damage on it’s own. If there are multiple hits, the damage will be divided equally between them.
    • Due to the unstable nature of Chaos, this spell cannot be used for defensive purposes at all despite the ability to give the chaos energy any shape Seth desires
    • Can be used only when Seth is in direct control of Charlotte’s body (Puppeteer’s Control UA is active)

    Description: Core of White magic that brings forth new life, nourishment and protection. Touch of Life shows just how connected this magic is to the essence of all within every living being, bringing it forth and mending it. On the outside, this will simply appear as white aura surrounding one’s body and repairing any damage that is visible, or even invisible to the naked eye. Each use will heal regular damage for the spell’s rank (60) and leave the target feeling refresh, as if they were born anew.
    Strengths:

    • Can heal any target, including Charlotte herself if she requires it

    Weaknesses:

    • Can only affect one target at a time, forcing others in need to wait additional turn before they can be healed as well
    • Cannot be affected by buffs that increase spell/healing effectiveness of any rank


    Name: White Gate

    Type: Teleportation

    Description: Using power similar to her world traveling one, but smaller in scale, Charlotte can open a holy gate around her body and transport herself anywhere in 15 meters radius. The transportation is instantaneous and cannot be interrupted once it begins. From the outside, it will appear as the girl’s body dissipating into white particles and reappearing elsewhere.
    Strengths:

    • The effect takes place nearly instantly, meaning Charlotte can get out of tight spot with a simple thought of this spell

    Weaknesses:

    • Range on the teleportation is rather limited, only 15 meters
    • Range of the teleportation also cannot be extended by any means, even buffs from other, stronger mages
    • It’s impossible to teleport behind walls or other objects if the terrain behind them is unknown to Charlotte, as she doesn’t want to get stuck in a wall or something

    Description: Utilizing her powers, Charlotte can bring out memories of not living objects within the world. This can show her what happened to and around the object or in rare situations, even echoes of the owner of said object. The magic can only be used on inanimate objects and will do absolutely nothing if used on the living. The memory is also only displayed to Charlotte alone and it will be up to her if she shares it with anyone else. If manipulated objects belongs to another player character and thus revealed facts about them, OOC permission is required
    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given object

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot be used on living targets, this includes plant and artificial life
    • No combat utilization at all

    Description: Counterpart to the Synthetic memory, this spell allows Charlotte to dive into the memories of anything that is alive. A direct touch is required to do this, as well as a great deal of concentration that will make the girl unable to react to her surroundings and defend herself while she’s casting. Only memory of living beings can be read, not one of inanimate objects. If other player characters are affected by this, OOC permission is required
    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given person

    Weaknesses:

    • Cannot be used on non-living targets, this includes sentient machines, undead and similar beings
    • Charlotte will be unable to defend herself or even react to actions of others while casting this spell
    • Can traumatize the girl if she dives into dark, repressed memories of someone

    Description: Through the power of White Magic, Charlotte can purify sense of all her allies that are no further than 15 meters away from her when casting and enhance them beyond the limit mortals are restrained by. Once the effect takes place, all allies affected will gain senses equal to those of a slayer, meaning enhanced hearing, vision, sense of smell and other attributes associated with perceiving the world around you. Even the caster is affected by this, but so are the enemies if they manage to get close enough. If used on slayers, their already increased senses get enhanced even further to the point when one can be capable of hearing heartbeat of others, see miles away nearly perfectly and even pin point locations of moving objects via hearing.
    Strengths:

    • Spell capable of boosting senses of even regular mages to the level of slayers
    • Affects both Charlotte and all allies around her as long as they’re not too far away

    Weaknesses:

    • Enhanced senses can sometimes bring trouble to some, as their brain might not deal well with so much new information coming it’s way
    • Boosts only one’s senses, not their strength, speed and other physical attributes that slayers possess
    • Can affect enemies as well if they manage to get inside of the 15 meters wide casting circle in time

    Description: Charlotte’s white magic is usually formless. It’s attribute is indeed holy, but there is no shape to it, as one would assume. However, the girl can solidify a bit of her magic and transform it into something that is usually associated with holy attribute - light. With this solid light, she can form wings for everyone who is no further than 15 meters away from her at the moment of casting. These wings are not actually connected to one’s body and appear as sparkling semi-transparent white crystal forming beautiful wings if intricate shapes. However, they are easily destroyed by spells of C-rank or higher, canceling the newly gained flight ability prematurely. Charlotte is affected by this spell as well. Once the wings are formed, they can fly at the speed equal to the mage’s sprint.
    Strengths:

    • Can affect both Charlotte and any number of allies as long as they are in range, giving them all flight ability
    • With the speed of mage’s sprint, they can be fairly fast method of transport

    Weaknesses:

    • Everyone who wants to be affected has to be present during the casting rather than the duration afterwards
    • These wings do not add anything to the mage’s offensive or defensive powers, though the do look pretty
    • It’s rather easy to shatter these wings with long-ranged attacks of any type as long as they’re of C-rank or higher

    Name: Warmth of White Spring
    Rank: C
    Type: Movement Support

    Description: Just as warmth of the Sun after long Winter can bring flowers and greenery back to life, it can also bring energy to humans and other sentient beings. With this spell, Charlotte can accumulate her white magic and mimic the Sun, sending out a wave of warm energy that reaches up to 25 meters in all directions from her. All allies caught in this wave will feel pleasant and gentle warmth in their bodies, their blood pumping faster by the moment. Enveloped in faint white aura, their speed will be increased by 30% for the entire duration. Charlotte too is affected by this when casting.
    Strengths:

    • Reasonably strong speed increase for both Charlotte and her allies if they’re standing close enough as she casts the spell

    Weaknesses:

    • While faint, the white aura will always surround those affected by this spell. This can be a sign to grow more cautious to the more observant of enemies
    • The wave of warmth that brings the boost to speed is somewhat limited in it’s range, meaning all allies have to be rather close to Charlotte when she casts this spell


    Name: Gift of Life
    Rank: C
    Type: Revival

    Description: White magic was originally thought to be the opposite of dark arts, something that would conquer death itself. And while it is true that the White magic that Charlotte wields could be described as magic of life itself, it was never made to conquer anything. Rather than that, the magic was formed to merely help others. And with the core of it’s power, the girl became capable of even bringing fallen folk back from the realm of the dead! Gathering huge amount of magical energy inside of her and then releasing it into a dead body, she can bring it’s soul back and rejuvenate them to a point where living is once again possible. Once performed, the target is revived with 1 point of health, though their MP is not affected at all and remains same as it was before death. Their spells will also enter cooldown if 3 posts at the moment of revival. But of course something like this places great weight onto the girl’s body, making the spell’s cooldown equal to the one of S-ranked spell.
    Strengths:

    • Ability capable of bringing even the dead back to life
    • Can bring back anyone, regardless of the way they were defeated, their rank or power

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to the power required to perform this spell, extremely long cooldown is created before Charlotte can cast again
    • It is impossible for Charlotte to cast any other spells in the same post where she uses this spell. That includes any form of healing that she would normally use to help the revived person
    • A big show of magical energy that precedes the revival can draw attention of anyone on the battlefield
    • Those revived by this spell will return with only 1 HP and suffering from a great headache for a single post

    Description: Even though the girl knows now just how dangerous the world can sometimes be, she still wants to protect everyone. And with that wish, a new spell was formed that shapes her White magic around one person to create a shining, transparent armor. This armor can take up to one single attack of rank above it's own, two attacks of it's own rank or three ranks of rank lower. It is possible for Charlotte to use this shield on herself.
    Strengths:

    • Protection that can deflect even one single spell of rank higher than the armor itself

    Weaknesses:

    • Unlike grand protection barrier spells that are capable of shielding multiple people at once, this armor can be worn by only one person at a time and only they will be protected by it
    • While the armor is transparent, it is still visible to everyone around, showing that the affected one has some kind of protection

    Description: The White Witch was known for all that she had done for her village. As long as she was present, crops would grow even during winter and they would always bear healthy and fresh fruits filled with life. She gave nourishment to the land and made it fertile. Charlotte too can imbue the land with this white magic, however, her fish is to aid those standing in front of her before anything else. When casting this spell, the land of 50 meters all around her will be imbued with her magic, white vein-like cracks appearing in the soil. From these, her magical energy will flow and aid everyone nearby. All allies within range will be healed for 50% of B-ranked damage (30) instantly. But for as long as they remain inside of the designated zone, they will continue regenerating that exact same amount of health for the entire spell’s duration. This only affects those Charlotte is allied to, not her enemies.
    Strengths:

    • Powerful healing ability that can heal up to 250% of the spell’s damage if allies manage to stay in the designated zone for it’s entire duration
    • Does not affect enemies, even if they managed to get inside of the healing zone

    Weaknesses:

    • The spell provides great visual effect that clearly marks the ground that will provide healing to allies. This also means that enemies can see it just as well, getting a good idea of where they should not allow anyone to get
    • The initial healing is rather small, forcing allies to limit the area they move in if they wish to benefit from the spell as much as they can
    • Once casted, the healing zone will remain stationary even if Charlotte moves away from it. This means enemies can force everyone out of it and render it completely useless
    • Can only be used on solid ground. If the girl finds herself in an aerial battle or perhaps beneath water’s surface, casting this spell will be out of the question

    Type: Healing ; Cleansing

    Description: Charlotte’s holy blood can have positive effects for those who drink it, yes. But it can be sometimes difficult to give someone something like your own blood for drinking. For that reason, the White Witch was blessed with spell that has effect similar to that. Upon casting, everyone who is no further than 50 meters from the girl will have their body purified by the white magic. This can cleanse all effects from nearby allies as long as they were caused by spells of equal rank. Spells one rank above will have their negative effects instantly reduced by 50% and negative effects caused by a spell two ranks higher will not be cleansed at all. Charlotte will also receive one of the negative effects that she cured via this spell for herself, as not everything can be simply cleansed with perfection.
    Strengths:

    • Can purify all nearby allies from negative effects that were caused by spells and abilities up to A-rank

    Weaknesses:

    • If the spell is performed successfully, Charlotte will receive one of the cleansed effects for herself as penalty
    • Charlotte herself cannot be affected by this spell and her own negative effects will not be cleansed

    Description: The White Witch tried to protect her people from the outside invaders and those who were allied with her were treated well. However, Charlotte is different. She wants to help everyone equally. But what once was can no longer be changed and this spell remains. When cast, the girl can place a special mark on two allies that are no further than 50 meters away from her. This mark will appear somewhere on their bodies, shining with bright white color and shape reminiscent of a rose. Those who bear this mark will temporarily receive more of the white magic from Charlotte as all buffs and healing she will apply to them will be 25% stronger. She cannot place the mark on her own body however. The mark also does not affect healing spells that are already at the cap of their effectiveness or healing signature spells.
    Strengths:

    • Allows two allies to receive greater bonuses when they’re healed of supported by Charlotte

    Weaknesses:

    • Only two different marks can be distributed per casting, no more
    • Charlotte cannot place the mark onto her own body, as the white magic already flows inside of her at it’s maximum
    • The mark will always be tied to the girl’s magic alone. Even if others possess healing and supportive abilities, it will not enhance anything that does not come from Charlotte
    • Each person can have only one mark, meaning it’s impossible to stack to of them on top of each other and increase the effect even further
    • Does not affect healing signature spells in any way

    Description: Turning the warmth and wings that are meant to help others pitch black, Seth can turn the magic selfish, make the spell serve them alone. Upon casting, wings of darkness will manifest behind Charlotte’s possessed body, appearing as black crystals that are not quite connected to her body physically, but still capable of giving her the ability of flight. Once in air, Seth can move at speed 30% higher than the one of their sprint and free change the shape and size of the wings for the sake of flexibility in smaller spaces. Once formed, it takes at least 3 spells of equal rank to this spell’s to break the wings.

    Strengths:

    • Enhanced speed along with ability of flight gives Seth great mobility at the battlefield for limited time

    Weaknesses:

    • While it takes three whole C-ranked spells to break these apart, they do not add anything to the mage’s defensive powers, making them unusable for guarding
    • Unlike the original spells, these wings are meant for Seth alone and will not grow any allies even if they are close at the moment of casting

    Description:
    When two opposing forces are combined, chaos is formed. That much is known by the wide public. However, it is rarely attempted to control such force for its destructive properties and low chance of being controlled in any meaningful way. However, a witch in the past managed to do just that, as her white magic combined with the pure blackness in order to repel enemies that were threatening her village. This became her sin and as she decided to continue living on as a regular human being, she bore a child who had this power flowing in their blood. And now, the lineage reached Charlotte. A poor girl that is possessed by an omnipotent force which simply uses her as a toy and tool which forms the puppeteer’s story. With help from such being, the power of her blood has been awakened and the magic of Black and White is now fully active and usable.

    The magic of chaos is divided into three different section. The first one being the Magic of White. The core of the powers that White With uses, it is a magic of life itself. Every living being, or sometimes even non-living ones, have a life force inside of their body which the White Witch calls “Aurora”. White magic operates and restores this energy within others and even the witch herself in order to heal and purify one’s body and very soul. People often mistake magic of white for the magic of light, though the two are actually quite different. The magic of White is without any elements and thus cannot even be classified as holy. It is simple white, the life itself.

    The second part is a little bit less welcome in this world, yet just as necessary for life itself to exist. The magic of Black, or as some call it, dark arts. However, just like with the white part of these powers, black is without element and represents death itself. It is a destructive magic that annihilates and corrodes all in its path, no matter what it is. In a sense, the Magic of Black feeds on aurora and transforms it into something else entirely, which poisons living bodies instead. Such is the destination of all mortal creatures, as none of them can truly escape the embrace of final rest. Something that makes it quite surprising that immortal being such as the puppeteer can actually understand it.

    Finally, there is chaos. Normally, something like that cannot be truly controlled and used to one’s advantage. That is the very nature of chaos after all. However, the powers of White and Black eventually became one in the blood of White Witch. And now that the puppeteer can be in charge of this power, even chaos becomes usable as a weapon of mass devastation. This is, of course, something Charlotte is strongly against, which is why only Seth themselves use this part of the magic. Being the same as previous portions, chaos has no set element and is described by it’s very name as something that cannot be properly understood by the mortal mind.
    Strengths:

    • Allows for connection to beings that would not otherwise even exist
    • Capable of combining to light and darkness into raw non-elemental chaos that is strong against nearly all types of magic
    • Let's Charlotte control both light and darkness individually if she wants to

    Weaknesses:

    • Weak against any metal-type defenses, equipment, and spells
    • Some forms of the magic are too powerful for Charlotte to contain and seep into reality even when she does not want them to
    • Due to the close connection to the old white witch, her rotting corpse seems to be plaguing the poor girl's dreams
    • More powerful spells can have some serious negative effects on Charlotte's health

    Lineage:

    Curse of the White Witch
    Description: There was once a village north beyond the snowy mountain pass that lived peacefully and abundantly. It was lead by a kind and just ruler, Margery the White. She was nicknamed as such because she was a caster, a powerful one at that. It is because of her that the village can sleep peacefully at night and plant crops without having to worry of them freezing or dying due to lack of basic nutrients. You see, she had placed a powerful incantation around the land which prevents would be wrongdoers from entering their domain. It also keeps the weather and land in check, making their land an idealistic hideaway.
    However, their happiness did not last long for a powerful dark Magus heard of their place, the paradise in the frozen wasteland they called it. He wanted that for his own as well, so with an army of shades and demons, he invaded the village. He had a hard time breaking through the barrier but broke through he did. The powerful white witch tried her best to defend their land but because of the sheer number of enemies and with too many to protect her effort were rendered useless.  With no hope left, she did something forbidden to all white casters, and that is to use dark magic. With her new found power, she was able to turn the tides, she was able to obliterate the dark Magi and his evil horde. But it was after when she got a second glance that she realized the error of her ways. Not only did she destroy her enemies, but she also wiped out half the land and its inhabitants. Ashamed of her deed, she fled town and was never to be seen again.
    Some say she took her life as punishment of her sin, others say she regressed and turned into an old and evil crone who lives in a spooky dark forest, while others say she lived the rest of her days as a simple and normal human with her husband and children.
    Ability: Those who were descended from her line are gifted with great magic regeneration. It also allows them to use Chaos blast. The melding of light and dark magic creating pure raw power which is formless and non-elemental.  Chaos magic is effective against any type of magic and inedible to all forms of slayers. However it is weaker against steel or any form of metal. Making it less effective against physical attacks or defensive attacks made with any metal weapon or armour.
    Usage:
    Passive: 5% MP regeneration.
    Gains an offensive "Chaos" elemental blast attack as a signature spell(max A-rank) OR normal spell of user-rank (S-rank Max) that must be made in addition to the user’s spells in their magic.

    Unique Abilities:
    Puppeteer’s Control - Seth the puppeteer is an unknown entity that has been by Charlotte’s side as long as she can remember. They are not of this world and have no physical form. However, they can still help, or even harm the girl as much as they feel like. During any situation, the puppeteer can take free control over the puppet’s body and mind, resulting in Charlotte’s eyes becoming colored gold and her behavior changing drastically. While in this state, Charlotte’s overall damage is increased by 50%, but she will also take 25% extra damage from attacks of all kinds. Seth is the only one who can use Chaos and Dark fusion spells of this magic, meaning this possession is necessary for them to be cast. This possession is toggle on/off ability.

    Furthermore, the puppeteer always has stored backup data of their puppet, which allows them to freely revive her if the need arises. This is mostly done in the form of “Rewind” where Charlotte’s body slowly returns in time to the point where she was still alive and well. Seth can choose if the girl will or won’t remember her own death during this process. Rewind has plot-related uses and can only be used with OOC permission from everyone present in the thread where it’s used.

    Magic overflow - As the lineage of the White Witch keeps on constantly feeding Charlotte's body with magical energy, it is only natural that some of it leak out of her body because it simply cannot be contained. This happens passively all the time and without the girl's knowledge. All leaked magical energy manifests itself as objects and events within the real world. This can be anything from imaginary friends becoming temporarily real to growing the most beautiful and alien flower in the entire world. Purely plot-related use.

    Shift of Worlds - Earthland is only one of many different dimensions in the great infinite void. Charlotte learned this as she gained more control over her heritage of magic, becoming capable of opening gates to these other worlds and sometimes even forcing a complete shift. Getting hang of this ability, the girl became capable of completely changing the battlefield as she moves everyone to an entirely different world. While this is mostly completely aesthetical, it can sometimes give her and her team a small terrain advantage over the enemy. However, it is easy to conquer this ability with any spells that can overpower or outright cancel spacial magic. There is no limit to how many different worlds can be used in a single thread, however, if this ability is used during combat, there will be 5 posts cooldown until it can be used again. If other player characters are in the thread and thus affected by this ability, OOC permission is required.

    Heart of Cards - People used many different tools to channel their magic throughout the years of the mortal land. Sometimes even to support caster magic rather than to control holder one, such as it is in this case. After some research, Charlotte had found out that Margery, the first White Witch also used a special set of cards to go along with her powers. And albeit nowhere near the power of the original, the young aspiring white witch managed to create her own set to aid her in battle. However, due to their limited power, only one of the cards can be used at a time. Once activated, the card will take on a certain power that will last on for an indefinite amount of time until another card is chosen to replace the previous one. To activate each card, an appropriate spell must be cast. These will cost MP like any regular spell and their rank will determine the power of the card. These spells have the "Card" type.

    Holy Blood - As the white magic flows through Charlotte at all times, it is only natural that her whole body would be blessed by it at this point. Her blood which can represent one’s life has become fused with her magic and gained special properties, albeit ones that might be a bit difficult to utilize. Everyone who ingests the girl’s blood will be calmed by it, curing all rage, confusion and other negative mental effects of lower or equal rank to Charlotte. Effects of higher rank can be cured as well, but only with OOC permission from the one who induced them. It also goes without saying that the girl’s blood must be spilled before it can be accessed, meaning she has to suffer damage.

A touch of Life shows just how connected this magic is to the essence of all within every living being, bringing it forth and mending it. On the outside, this will simply appear as a white aura surrounding one’s body and repair any damage that is visible, or even invisible to the naked eye. Each use will heal regular damage for the spell’s rank (60) and leave the target feeling refreshed as if they were born anew.
    Strengths:

    • Can heal any target, including Charlotte herself if she requires it

    Weaknesses:

    • Can only affect one target at a time, forcing others in need to wait additional turn before they can be healed as well
    • Cannot be affected by buffs that increase spell/healing effectiveness of any rank


    Name: White Gate

    Type: Teleportation

    Description: Using power similar to her world traveling one, but smaller in scale, Charlotte can open a holy gate around her body and transport herself anywhere in 15 meters radius. The transportation is instantaneous and cannot be interrupted once it begins. From the outside, it will appear as the girl’s body dissipating into white particles and reappearing elsewhere.
    Strengths:

    • The effect takes place nearly instantly, meaning Charlotte can get out of tight spot with a simple thought of this spell

    Weaknesses:

    • Range on the teleportation is rather limited, only 15 meters
    • Range of the teleportation also cannot be extended by any means, even buffs from other, stronger mages
    • It’s impossible to teleport behind walls or other objects if the terrain behind them is unknown to Charlotte, as she doesn’t want to get stuck in a wall or something

    Description: Pulling out the card of the Apprentice, Charlotte will cast it through her Heart of Cards Unique Ability and provide the effects to the UA with this activation spell. As one could expect, the card of the apprentice is the most basic one and the girl's first success at imitating the magic of Margery. But while the card's potency is small, even the tiniest bit of help can sometimes make a difference. Card of the apprentice increases effectiveness of Charlotte's healing spells by 15%.
    Strengths:

    • Can give Charlotte the extra edge in healing that will allow her to save an ally on the verge of death

    Weaknesses:

    • As the card is of a low rank, its potency is not as great as it could be if placed in higher ranks or the unique ability itself
    • Outside of working as an activation spell that provides bonuses to the Unique ability, this spell does nothing

    Description: Utilizing her powers, Charlotte gained a power that allows her to dive into the memories of anything that is both alive and dead. A direct touch is required to do this, as well as a great deal of concentration that will make the girl unable to react to her surroundings and defend herself while she’s casting. If used on other player characters, OOC permission is required. In this case, the spell can be used on any target, regardless of their rank.
    Strengths:

    • Allows Charlotte to peer into the past of any given person or object

    Weaknesses:

    • Charlotte will be unable to defend herself or even react to actions of others while casting this spell
    • Can traumatize the girl if she dives into dark, repressed memories of someone or something

    Description: Through the power of White Magic, Charlotte can purify sense of all her allies that are no further than 30 meters away from her when casting and enhance them beyond the limit mortals are restrained by. Once the effect takes place, all allies affected will gain senses equal to those of a slayer, meaning enhanced hearing, vision, sense of smell and other attributes associated with perceiving the world around you. Even the caster is affected by this, but so are the enemies if they manage to get close enough. If used on slayers, their already increased senses get enhanced even further to the point when one can be capable of hearing the heartbeat of others, see miles away nearly perfectly and even pin point locations of moving objects via hearing.
    Strengths:

    • Spell capable of boosting senses of even regular mages to the level of slayers
    • Affects both Charlotte and all allies around her as long as they’re not too far away

    Weaknesses:

    • Enhanced senses can sometimes bring trouble to some, as their brain might not deal well with so much new information coming its way
    • Boosts only one’s senses, not their strength, speed and other physical attributes that slayers possess
    • Can affect enemies as well if they manage to get inside of the 15 meters wide casting circle in time

    Description: Charlotte’s white magic is usually formless. Its attribute is indeed holy, but there is no shape to it, as one would assume. However, the girl can solidify a bit of her magic and transform it into something that is usually associated with holy attribute - light. With this solid light, she can form wings for everyone who is no further than 30 meters away from her at the moment of casting. These wings are not actually connected to one’s body and appear as sparkling semi-transparent white crystal forming beautiful wings if intricate shapes. However, they are easily destroyed by spells of C-rank or higher, canceling the newly gained flight ability prematurely. Charlotte is affected by this spell as well. Once the wings are formed, they can fly at the speed equal to the mage’s sprint.
    Strengths:

    • Can affect both Charlotte and any number of allies as long as they are in range, giving them all flight ability
    • With the speed of mage’s sprint, they can be fairly fast method of transport

    Weaknesses:

    • Everyone who wants to be affected has to be present during the casting rather than the duration afterwards
    • These wings do not add anything to the mage’s offensive or defensive powers, though the do look pretty
    • It’s rather easy to shatter these wings with long-ranged attacks of any type as long as they’re of C-rank or higher

    C-rank Spells:

    Name: Card of the Wishing Well
    Rank: C
    Type: Card ; Recovery ; Aura
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 3 posts
    Description: Pulling out the card of the Wishing Well, Charlotte will cast it through her Heart of Cards Unique Ability and provide the effects to the UA with this activation spell. This specific card is attuned to resonated with the outer world and ethernano hidden within it, drawing the energy close and then nudging it into the physical bodies present around the card's holder. In other words, all who stand no more than 60 meters away from the white witch when she has this card active will recover 4% MP per post, unless they already possess MP recovery of their own at all. This does not affect Charlotte herself as the blood of the White Witch flows through her veins and gives her an already superior Mana regeneration on her own.
    Strengths:

    • Gives strong per post MP recovery to all allies within the designated range

    Weaknesses:

    • Does not work on those who already possess increased MP recovery of any kind
    • Does not affect Charlotte herself at all due to her already having a strong passive MP recovery
    • Outside of working as an activation spell that provides bonuses to the Unique ability, this spell does nothing

    Description: Just as warmth of the Sun after long Winter can bring flowers and greenery back to life, it can also bring energy to humans and other sentient beings. With this spell, Charlotte can accumulate her white magic and mimic the Sun, sending out a wave of warm energy that reaches up to 60 meters in all directions from her. All allies caught in this wave will feel pleasant and gentle warmth in their bodies, their blood pumping faster by the moment. Enveloped in faint white aura, their speed will be increased by 30% for the entire duration. Charlotte too is affected by this when casting.
    Strengths:

    • Reasonably strong speed increase for both Charlotte and her allies if they’re standing close enough as she casts the spell

    Weaknesses:

    • While faint, the white aura will always surround those affected by this spell. This can be a sign to grow more cautious to the more observant of enemies
    • The wave of warmth that brings the boost to speed is somewhat limited in it’s range, meaning all allies have to be rather close to Charlotte when she casts this spell

    Type: Revival

    Description: White magic was originally thought to be the opposite of dark arts, something that would conquer death itself. And while it is true that the White magic that Charlotte wields could be described as magic of life itself, it was never made to conquer anything. Rather than that, the magic was formed to merely help others. And with the core of it’s power, the girl became capable of even bringing fallen folk back from the realm of the dead! Gathering huge amount of magical energy inside of her and then releasing it into a dead body, she can bring it’s soul back and rejuvenate them to a point where living is once again possible. Once performed, the target is revived with 1 point of health, though their MP is not affected at all and remains same as it was before death. Their spells will also enter cooldown if 3 posts at the moment of revival. But of course something like this places great weight onto the girl’s body, making the spell’s cooldown equal to the one of S-ranked spell.
    Strengths:

    • Ability capable of bringing even the dead back to life
    • Can bring back anyone, regardless of the way they were defeated, their rank or power

    Weaknesses:

    • Due to the power required to perform this spell, extremely long cooldown is created before Charlotte can cast again
    • It is impossible for Charlotte to cast any other spells in the same post where she uses this spell. That includes any form of healing that she would normally use to help the revived person
    • A big show of magical energy that precedes the revival can draw attention of anyone on the battlefield
    • Those revived by this spell will return with only 1 HP and suffering from a great headache for a single post

    B-rank Spells:

    Name: Card of the Youth
    Rank: B
    Type: Card ; healing ; Aura
    Duration: Instant
    Cooldown: 4 posts
    Description: Pulling out the card of the Youth, Charlotte will cast it through her Heart of Cards Unique Ability and provide the effects to the UA with this activation spell. The card of the Youth is filled with the energy that comes from the body of those in their early years, their stamina seemingly infinite and always supporting their body. Even those of older years can feel as if they were several decades younger in the presence of this card, as all who are no further than 100 meters will recover half of B-ranked damage per post (30). This does include Charlotte as well.
    Strengths:

    • Provides a decent HP recovery, as well as making allies feel strong and young regardless of their actual age

    Weaknesses:

    • While the card does provide enhanced regeneration and makes everyone feel young and strong, the feeling is merely that and can make people overly confident and active
    • Outside of working as an activation spell that provides bonuses to the Unique ability, this spell does nothing


    Name: Grand Rejuvenation

    Type: Healing ; AoE ; HoT

    Description: The White Witch was known for all that she had done for her village. As long as she was present, crops would grow even during winter and they would always bear healthy and fresh fruits filled with life. She gave nourishment to the land and made it fertile. Charlotte too can imbue the land with this white magic, however, her fish is to aid those standing in front of her before anything else. When casting this spell, the land of up to 100 meters all around her will be imbued with her magic, white vein-like cracks appearing in the soil. From these, her magical energy will flow and aid everyone nearby. All allies within range will be healed for 50% of B-ranked damage (30) instantly. But for as long as they remain inside of the designated zone, they will continue regenerating that exact same amount of health for the entire spell’s duration. This only affects those Charlotte is allied to, not her enemies.
    Strengths:

    • Powerful healing ability that can heal up to 250% of the spell’s damage if allies manage to stay in the designated zone for it’s entire duration
    • Does not affect enemies, even if they managed to get inside of the healing zone

    Weaknesses:

    • The spell provides great visual effect that clearly marks the ground that will provide healing to allies. This also means that enemies can see it just as well, getting a good idea of where they should not allow anyone to get
    • The initial healing is rather small, forcing allies to limit the area they move in if they wish to benefit from the spell as much as they can
    • Once casted, the healing zone will remain stationary even if Charlotte moves away from it. This means enemies can force everyone out of it and render it completely useless
    • Can only be used on solid ground. If the girl finds herself in an aerial battle or perhaps beneath water’s surface, casting this spell will be out of the question

    Type: Healing ; Cleansing

    Description: Charlotte’s holy blood can have positive effects for those who drink it, yes. But it can be sometimes difficult to give someone something like your own blood for drinking. For that reason, the White Witch was blessed with spell that has effect similar to that. Upon casting, everyone who is no further than 100 meters from the girl will have their body purified by the white magic. This can cleanse all effects from nearby allies as long as they were caused by spells of equal rank. Spells one rank above will have their negative effects instantly reduced by 50% and negative effects caused by a spell two ranks higher will not be cleansed at all. Charlotte will also receive one of the negative effects that she cured via this spell for herself, as not everything can be simply cleansed with perfection.
    Strengths:

    • Can purify all nearby allies from negative effects that were caused by spells and abilities up to A-rank

    Weaknesses:

    • If the spell is performed successfully, Charlotte will receive one of the cleansed effects for herself as penalty
    • Charlotte herself cannot be affected by this spell and her own negative effects will not be cleansed

    Description: The White Witch tried to protect her people from the outside invaders and those who were allied with her were treated well. But in the end, this mindset had punished her and chained her by the iron of white and black, the chaos she had formed and used to destroy those who opposed her. But in the end, the wish for prosperity remained and what became a curse for Margery became a reward and a letter of good news for her descendence. Bringing forth the power of her blood, Charlotte can tap into the unbridled potential of a White Witch. Easily her most powerful healing spell, a white magical circle appears above an area of 50 in diameter meters, roughly 100 meters above the ground and several chains colored black and white will descend at the speed of 20 meters per second, circling the area and filling it with a comforting energy. This heals all that are present in the spell's area by 75% of B-ranked spell damage (45) and boosts their damage resistance by 20% for the next 4 posts.
    As a lineage perk, this spell will rank up with Charlotte up to S-rank.
    Strengths:

    • Does not only heal those in range, but also boosts their defense for limited amount of time
    • As the spell is part of a lineage, it taps into the hidden powers of the White Witch and the chaos she created, easily becoming stronger than the rest of Charlotte's spells

    Weaknesses:

    • The spell does not differentiate allies and enemies, providing healing and enhanced defense for anyone who is close enough. This gives enemies a chance to get into the range and benefit from the spell as well
    • The effects and healing begin only once the chains hit the ground and start spinning around the affected area, making the cast at least 5 seconds long. Anything can happen in such a long timeframe, especially when in the heat of a battle
    • As the spell is part of a lineage, it will grow in power as Charlotte does. However, this also means growing cooldown among other things

    Type: Movement Support
    Fused Spells: Seraph’s Call (D) ; Warmth of White Spring (C)
    Description: Turning the warmth and wings that are meant to help others pitch black, Seth can turn the magic selfish, make the spell serve them alone. Upon casting, wings of darkness will manifest behind Charlotte’s possessed body, appearing as black crystals that are not quite connected to her body physically, but still capable of giving her the ability of flight. Once in air, Seth can move at speed 30% higher than the one of their sprint and free change the shape and size of the wings for the sake of flexibility in smaller spaces. Once formed, it takes at least 3 spells of equal rank to this spell’s to break the wings.

    Strengths:

    • Enhanced speed along with ability of flight gives Seth great mobility at the battlefield for limited time

    Weaknesses:

    • While it takes three whole C-ranked spells to break these apart, they do not add anything to the mage’s defensive powers, making them unusable for guarding
    • Unlike the original spells, these wings are meant for Seth alone and will not grow any allies even if they are close at the moment of casting
