Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by King Elyx 10th August 2015, 10:25 am

    Spoiler:

So tell me Ignite... You took another job and told Kakuma that I said I would like to go with her on the job. Now.. You did this without my permission, and you expect me not to go to Kakuma and ask her to cancel it? I think I am brave enough to tell that to her face you know. Elyx explained as he got the blanket off of his body, a smirk on his face since he thought he had Ignite on Checkmate. The Violinist learned to not be afraid of telling Kakuma what he did and didn't do. By taking this weight off of his back, he knew that he would be able to take off much of his stress, Ignite can choose many jobs from the A rank Job Request board. But to aim for an SS ranked job was out of the line. Don't worry, I made sure it was a job that you can't refuse. It's a Bounty sort of job, meaning you have to do it by the law. Ignite explained with a smile on her face, and once again, she had beaten him at the game refusal attempt. It was true, he would have to go on the job if it were a Bounty. Manipulative... Damn you Ignite. Elyx remarked with his eyes half closed. Well, it depends on the amount of jewels that it paid. The boy looked at the paper that the She Phoenix gave him, then tilted his head as he noticed that there was no reward. What kind of joke was this supposed to be anyways? It was certainly an odd sight, not a single jewel was offered. No items, nothing. This was a thankless, unpaying job, with nothing to offer but work.

I for one think you need more friends. So you should at least try to become friends with the Guildmaster, you are an ace after all. The She Phoenix explained as she smiled. Talk about evil, Elyx didn't want to make many friends, trust was something that he valued, and would rather not give it away so easily. He trusted Kakuma, but that did not mean he should become best friends. That's not what a leader is supposed to do, in fact, that was why Elyx kept himself in the shadows often. Those who needed him can come to him, but otherwise, he would rather stay away. Being a part of a team, he was not exactly what one would call a loner, but that did not mean he was going to just simply walk around and look for people to talk to. He was happy with his current state. Still though... Now that Ignite put Elyx for a job, he was going to have to go. It was time to depart from his house, and the wait outside.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 10th August 2015, 1:51 pm

It was as Elyx walked out of his house that a shout would be heard from above and an object moving at high speed would smash in through his roof and land near the front door. A figure dressed in black and with an enormous sword strapped to his back would pause and look at Elyx for a moment blinking slightly as if only just about registering him. "Sorry about that. Send the repair cost to Blue Pegasus." he said before suddenly rocketing up into the sky to punch a large creature squarely in the face. The creature was a large humanoid winged creature clad in armour with what appeared to be pure magic power streaming from the base of its footless legs. However, the armour was heavily cracked and energy seemed to be pouring out of it. The creature, whatever it was, was clearly heavily battle damaged.

The two figures fought in the air for a while each seeming to be pretty evenly match, but eventually the black clad warrior of Blue Pegasus seemed to get the upper hand and the armored figure flew to the ground smashing heavily into the ground just in front of Elyx's house. Just as it was struggling to get back up it was impaled deeply by the huge sword that the warrior wielded. Strangely, this was the first time he had used it in the entire battle that Elyx would of been able to watch. As the blow hit the target it let out a shriek that seemed almost otherworldy before it vanished into motes of black light.

The warrior cracked his neck and walked towards Elyx holding the large sword one handed. He stopped in front of the Black Rose mage and with a swift flourish sheathed his sword at the back of his waist once more. "I really am sorry about the damages bud." he said rubbing the back of his head, ruffling his black hair a bit as he did so. He looked over the damage with his grey eyes and then back towards Elyx. As he spoke there was a faint cracking noise followed by tinkling as more of the house fell apart, too heavily damaged by Zack's impact. The mage raised a finger his mouth open wide as if to say another apology, but then decided to go on a bit of a different track and at least explain why he'd been fighting a monster in the air near this man's house.

"That dark celestial put up a bit more fight then I thought it would. Thought i'd of finished it off in a few hours, but damn thing took near a week to bring down" It was clear it had been a tough battle for the warrior as his body was bruised and he had numerous cuts. However, as he spoke the cuts and bruises seemed to be slowly fading away. "I'm Zack Rose of Blue Pegasus by the way. Nice to meet ya though its a shame it had to be through wrecking your house." he rubbed his hair again looking at what was left of Elyx's house with a genuine tone of embarassment to his voice. "I really am sorry about that." He looked about and paused for a moment realising something and then looked back at Elyx before posing a rather odd question "Where am I anyway?" The tone was quite honest. He was genuinly unsure of where he was. He didn't recognise it at all.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 14th August 2015, 11:11 am

Kakuma had seen the fight at a distance and started heading that way, she watch as Elyx's house got destroyed. She sighed as three LCPD member pushed past her, weapons drawn. "wonderful." Kakuma broke out into a jog, she would let the police members have their power trip first. She could sense the magic power from over here, who ever was doing the fighting they were powerful, more powerful than anyone in Black Rose. Kakuma stopped a bit down the street and observed as the police got down to what they did.

The Three police officers came running down the path each drawing their weapons. They came around the corner, pushing past a woman that was heading in the direction of the disturbance. They saw the cause and slid to a stop, each leveling a weapon at the unknown man. "YOU ON YOU KNEES!" One spoke up, his power level was about B rank and he was holding a viscous look revolver. The other two moved to his sides while the first one continued. "NOW! AND THEN INTERTWINE YOUR FINGERS BEHIND YOUR HEAD!"

The second man, of about C rank power, grabbed at a Magitech radio he had on him and called it in. "Dispatch one unknown male, Unknown affiliation and magic styles." The man was holding a long sword engraved with runes.

The third one, a woman who held a set of keys and remained silent, she was the only one aware that Kakuma was standing watch. she tossed her a glance as the other to did their demands. The woman hoped the man would comply, she didn't want to have to involve the Guild master.

Kakuma simply smiled as the LCPD did their job, vastly different from the mainlands police force which was like a slug. not reacting to crimes with any sort of haste. They made her proud, and now she would wait and see if the mainland mage would listen to them. She knew it was unlikely they had enough strength to overpower him, she just had to hope that he complied. If not she would get involved, something she didn't really want to do.

A chill voice brought her back from her thoughts. "I see you have caught sight of our visitor." Kakuma turned to find Zerrin standing next to her, the man's large cross leaning against a wall. "What do you want done?" Zerrin asked.

"I wish to see it he will follow the instructions of a authority figure weaker then himself." Kakuma responded, "Hopefully Elyx does not do something like question them, the man did just cause substantial damage to the city." Kakuma smiled at Zerrin.

The unfeeling man simply closed his eyes and picked up his cross, "As you wish." And with that he jumped up the building, using a light pole and a for other things to get to the roof. Kakuma didn't even watch him go, just turned back to watch the unfolding scene.

Post by King Elyx 14th August 2015, 11:52 am

Elyx felt that maybe there was a little bit of hope for him. The boy was able to breathe the air happilt before taking this job, but before he was able to get a good distance away, the boy heard a sudden crash of glass from behind his back. His light brown eyes shot up wide, Ignites light orange ones doing the same, but neither of them were able to turn their backs. The glass kept on breaking, and the more it shattered, the more that they flinched for every noise they did not like. Hey Ignite... Do you want to turn around at the same time? Elyx asked without even looking to Ignite, he did not want to see what was going to be seen what was seen. If he was going to be forced to see it, he might as well have Ignite see it as well. The She Phoenix nodded her head, and the both of them turned their backs towards the house, only to see a bunch of shattered glass, papers, wood, and metal. His once piano and violin shaped house is now turned to rubble.

And at the same time, a man claimed the damage, and the most he said about it as to put the charges onto the guild, Blue Pegasus. The most that he could do is fall onto his knees and stare at the house, it was a disaster. My house... The Violinist said as his voice cracked a little. So much hard work and time put into making that place, he could have a mansion with the jewels he spent on that house, and it took only a few seconds in order for it to be gone, just like that. The officials of the guild were doing what they did, but Elyx and Ignite were not doing anything, they were too crushed by their house being nothing but rubble now... They didn't even have enough energy to speak. Elyx felt sick in his stomach, he didn't want to do the job now, but now that he had no home either, there was not really much of a choice. The... House... Ignite said as she then hung her head down with her hair covering her face, it was not a good day for her either. Both Elyx and Ignite had plenty of things located inside of the house, and now it was just simply gone. What could they do now, well, nothing since it seems the officials were here. Even Kakuma, the Guildmaster, witnessed it all... There's nothing that can be done about it.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 14th August 2015, 12:26 pm

The damage Zack had wrought had brought the attention of local law enforcement. Wait, local law enforcement? This place had competent police? And they weren't rune knights? Where the hell had he ended up? The twilight Zone? Edolas? It was incredibly, incredibly weird. He could easily destroy all of these people nearby a quick flick of his hand towards each of them allowed him to know that none of them even classed as A. However, he had done wrong in this case and whilst it had been accidental he would obey this time. A fair trial would reveal that all he needed was to pay for the damages or something.

He knelt down and intertwined his fingers behind his head when he heard one of them call on a magitech radio. He looked at the caller in shock. How the hell did they not know him? Even people in Sin were aware of him. Most guilds were. He wasn't just a mage. He was an ace of a guild and what's more he was a wizard saint and not just any wizard saint he was one of the four gods of ishval. He'd helped bring in Yugi, helped take down Ladon and done all sorts of other crazy stuff. "Just for the record I'm Zack Rose of Blue Pegasus, i'm the second God of Ishval in the wizard saints." He stopped speaking for a moment. "I really wouldn't mind knowing where I am though...and wouldn't it be more proffessional for you to at least announce who you are? Just a tip for the future otherwise people might think you are thugs."

He wondered if they would try to tie him up or handcuff him or something. Would they even have anything that would be able to restrain him. He had more physical strength then most people he had met. Only a few could match him. He was intensely curious as to what they were doing and what they would do.

He looked over at the person whose house he had destroyed and who was on their knees in sadness. The house had meant a lot to them it seemed. And he'd destroyed it. "Damn dark celestial spirits. They are always getting me into trouble and causing issues for people." he mumbled to himself. They really were, but it was part of his duty to deal with it. He stood between the dark and the light. He had to keep the dark in check and the light as well. Maintain the balance.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 14th August 2015, 2:14 pm

The most powerful of the LCPD officers holstered his revolver and pulled a pair of magic-negation Handcuffs and took a hold of the mans right hand. He fixed the hand cuff and pull the mans hand behind his back, then took a hold of his other hand and cuffed them together. "You are in Lavanitir Port City, owned by the Independent Guild Black Rose." The Officer pulled Zack to a standing position. "As of right now i will read you your rights." The officer motioned to the one with the radio to call in the man's identity while he did so. "You have the right to remain silent, Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to legal representation, if you can not afford legal representation the guild of Black Rose will provide it for you. At any time you may exercise any of these rights." The officer sat Zack down on the curb, "Do you understand all your right at this time, if you do not i can repeat them at your request."

The Officer with radio called in, "Dispatch, Man has identified himself as, Zack Rose of Blue Pegasus. Has also claimed to be one of the Wizard saints, please confirm. Upload info to my CID." the man put the radio and accessed a device strapped to his arm. He walked up to Zack and held the device up to compare the photo. "check, Corporal this is indeed Zack Rose." The man pulled his radio out again. "Confirmed subject is Zack Rose, Please advise." The man nodded a few times then. "Got it, Hey guys Guild Master Kakuma is being notified as..."

Kakuma heard her name mentioned, which cause her to straighten out. She walked up to the three police officers. "I am already here." The three men looked at her, "I am aware of the situation, you three did well and as of now are relieved to other duty's, i will handle this." The three snapped a salute and took off. Kakuma turned to Zack. "So... I believe you owe Elyx here a apology," Kakuma walked over and tapped Elyx in the shoulder. "Hey... Pay attention." She turned back to Zack, "I am Kakuma Blackflower, leader of Black Rose." Kakuma smiled at the man, "You will need to pay for any damages and do a bit of community service." she turned to Elyx. "The specifics of the community service will be decided upon by Ace of Leaves Elyx." Kakuma was putting alot of trust in Elyx to make a sound judgement, mainly cause she could not afford to get on the Magic Council or Blue Pegasus bad side at the moment. But Laws were laws no matter where you were, and thus she made a judgement. "Please use normal channels of transportation or check in next time."

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by King Elyx 15th August 2015, 9:28 pm

Elyx stood back up and continued to watch the scene unfold, the man was getting arrested it seemed, and though he was a Guild Ace, he had no right to mess with the officials of the lands. The boy didn't even want to see his house anymore, it was just too much of a distaster. With much effort, he placed his hands on Ignites cheeks and turned her head the other way, maing sure that she didn't have to see such a nightmare anymore. The both of them were going to have to take a big hit in jewels since they still had to pay for the inns that they needed to go to. All through the scene, Kakuma decided to take on the "Zack" man that they all had just met at this moment. The Violinist had no idea how to feel right now, curious, sad, angered, they were valid options. But instead, he was just simply puzzled on two things, who this man was, and how they were going to get a new roof above Elyx's head. The Guildmaster continued to speak, and this time, she confirmed that the jewels will be covered by Blue Pegasus, which will probably be taking a huge bullet from this. But on top of that, community service, that was a clean let off, especially since the Violinist had to see his house turn to dust in just a few seconds, possibly a minute.

Now that Elyx was told that he could choose what service this Zack Rose guy was doing, he instantly had a small part of it to do. Depending on how hard this job is, he might just completely free himself from any further community service. Or he might just be doing another easy job and will be forced to go on more. Regardless, Zack was going to be doing this one. The boy pulled out the job request from his right pocket, his light brown eyes locking onto the paper from behind as he explained. There is a job that I was about to go to with this lady right here. It's an unpaying job, SS ranked, and I want to go on it. You will be accompanying me along this job in her place instead, and depending on it's difficulty, we will see if you would have to serve any further service to Black Rose. Elyx explained before looking over to Kakuma. You are free to come along. Or not now since staying out of it is now an option.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 16th August 2015, 3:03 am

Zack was surprised at the fact the guild master had showed up and on top of that he was now being made to do some kind of community service in order to pay off the debts. On top of that the funds to repair or replace the house were coming out of Blue Pegasus' own funds. Well, that didn't bother him too much. "I really am sorry about the damages and for not calling ahead Master Kakuma." he said and looked directly at Kakuma. "Didn't really have the chance, was fighting that spirit for about a week...kinda lost track of where I was. I really am sorry about that." There was a genuine note of remorse in his voice.

"Happy to pay it out of Blue Pegasus funds or my own if necessary, its only fair. Heck, if you want i'll help build you a new house myself." he added towards Elyx. Zack was a bit of an engineer and had done some building work in the past. Glass was not something he often worked with, but he was sure he could learn pretty quickly. "Oh and if you need somewhere to crash for a bit whils the repairs are done there are a few spare rooms at Blue Pegasus, or if that's not your style I can put you up in a hotel around here or something?" It seemed only right. Paying for the repairs alone would be a large amount of the bill, but the hotels and what not whilst the new place was built would take money too. It only seemed fair that he helped with that side of things as well.

It was soon after this that his community service or part of it was decided. It was an SS-ranked job and looked like it would be a pretty tough one. Demon hunting or something like that in the raging volcano. It was a shame it didn't pay as then he could just give his share of the reward to Elyx to help pay off the debt, but if this was his community service than so be it. "Ok, that seems fair enough. Now...are one of you going to take these handcuffs off or do I need to break out of them?" He didn't mind if he had to break out of them. They wouldn't be too tough even if they were restricting his magical power. The guards hadn't really taken into consideration the fact that he was not just powerful in magic. Though now that he thought about the cuffs it seemed that they were restricting him somewhat. Perhaps it was his celestial spirit side? AH well, he could still break them if necessary.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 18th August 2015, 7:06 am

Kakuma yawned as Elyx explain what he wished, she nearly smacked him for trying to replace her in the job, "HEY I'M STILL COMING." She responded in a huff. The man named Zack started asking about the handcuffs he was wearing, something Kakuma had forgotten about. "Ummm... Well i don't have the keys." Kakuma scrached the back of her head and stuck her tongue out at the man. "I guess you can break them, Zerrin wont be happy about that bu..."

Kakuma stopped talking as a man with blue hair landed behind her. "Miss... please do not give permission to break our property." The man walked over and undid the handcuffs, stopping to grant a warning. "Please refrain from destroying any more Black Rose property, purposefully or on accident." The man secured the handcuffs and bowed. "Now if you'll excuses me there is a Rune Knight causing trouble in the plaza." The man turned and took two steps then vanished.

Kakuma simply blinked, "man he give me the creeps." Kakuma shuddered, "Well lets go the port is this way." Kakuma motioned for the two men to follow her. "I'm still going as i can think of some uses for a demon." Kakuma's intent was clear, she wanted to enslave a demon. Kakuma lead the way to the port, not really talking much she was quite bored. Once she arrived she realized that she had forgotten her blade. "Hey ill be right back." Kakuma turned and ran off back to the guild hall. It took her no longer than a few minutes to get to her office, pick up her blade and return to the port. Huffing and puffing she stepped onto the boat that would take them to the mainland of Fiore. She found a nice spot on the railing and waited for their trip to begin.

*so you intend to use demons to help you with your goal?* Nizria asked from the recesses of Kakuma's mind. *I thought you hated us!"

Kakuma let out a yawn, *Everyone and thing has it uses, I am not so biased to just end someone life because they are counter to my existence. I have no issue offering them a place to help me, a place that will see them grow beyond the pettiness of race and other such nonsense..*

*hmm i see... you have matured a bit. So that means i will be given a chance at life?* Nizria was hoping that Kakuma was not still mad about the past. *I mean i did say i was sorry a while back* This was quite true.

*I don't see why not... first i have to get you out of me though.* Kakuma chuckled to herself as she watched the boat take off from the port.

Post by King Elyx 18th August 2015, 7:50 am

Elyx nodded once Zack agreed to the simple request that the Violinist set up, and the boy then smiled as things were starting to get fixed. Things for once seemed to be mutual until Kakuma began to yell, and then the boy remembered that he was with Kakuma, probably the loudest and most annoying when it comes to interaction. The last time he tried to talk to her... Well that was a special moment to say the least. With a blink, he turned the attention back to Zack with a smile on his face. You seem like a nice guy, and it was an accident. You have given me no reason to get the Rune Knights onto this case. If you follow through with your word, we can just simply call it a lesson learned. The Violinist explained before looking over to Ignite, a nod of the head she gave him. The next topics continued, the handcuffs. Erm... About that, I'm no officer here. Guild Ace is the best I got for you. Elyx explained before he then tilted his head to the side. He suggested breaking them, which would not really bother the Violinist since it was not his handcuffs to lose. So he really just blocked out that simple conversation before the silence once again began, in which Elyx decided to kill by explaining the job that the three of them had to do now. He placed the paper that was folded into four from his pocket and out for the both of the others to see. Ignite didn't need to see it since she understood the terms that went on that piece of paper. With a smile placed on his face, he began to explain.

Make of it what you will, this is out target right here. I don't know much about her attacks and defenses against attackers, but I do know that she is much better than even me in combat. She rivals many leaders, and has yet to be slain. The recent amounts of destruction cause must be stopped. Being a legal sided neutral mage, I decided to do it out of the good in my heart. Elyx explained with the smile still on his face. The explanation continued to go on as the boy knew that he should avoid leaving off that explanation there. The real reason why he did it was because Ignite already forced him to while he was sleeping. He wouldn't have said no, but he would have liked to have been acknowledged anyways. Last I checked, Blue Pegasus is sided with Legal alignments, so you have reason to come along. As for Kakuma, I think this might be a threat to anything it comes near by. Sure as a guild, we can handle it if it comes onto our territory. However, I would personally prefer to cause less destruction in our guild than on other grounds.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 18th August 2015, 12:39 pm

He flexed his wrists as the handcuffs were removed. It was quite a relief and on top of that he felt his magic power returning properly as he listened to the comments about the job. It seemed there was some demon lady who was causing havoc and nobody had been able to take her down yet and only a few had lived to tell the tale. "Evil demon queen to beat up? Is it thursday already." Zack said with a wink before they began heading down towards the ship. This Elyx guy and even Kakuma seemed quite reasonable. This was really one of his first times interacting with the neutral, or as he'd heard they prefer, independent guilds. He'd expected, being bounty hunters, they'd be a bit gruffer. Kind of like dark mages, but not quite as bad. Seemed his interpretation had been wrong. They seemed like pretty reasonable people though Kakuma was pretty loud.

It seemed that there was some darkness to some extent though. It seemed Kakuma wanted a demon or demons for some purpose. Perhaps for experimentations on how to beat them? Or perhaps some other reasoning. What it was wasn't clear, but in all honesty Zack didn't care. He was looking forward to the job at hand. It would at least be a good workout if nothing more. However, once they were at the port it seemed Kakuma had forgotten sometime. She ran off and was back in a few minutes quite out of breath. He raised an eyebrow. Was the guildmasters stamina that bad?

Speaking of stamina though he raised his gloved hand and pointed it at each of them. This, with a bit of focus, allowed them to see their physical and magical auras. Kakuma to his surprise was a holy demon slayer. He'd heard rumours of such a thing existing, but hadn't seen them. Maybe he'd ask her help when fighting against Shangdi in the future. The aura was internal and seemed to radiate a super powered holyness that formed into the rough shape of a demonic creature. An impressive magic and her power both magically and physically were above S class, but not quite H. A good ally for any job. He'd put her on about the same level as his former student Deniel. Perhaps a bit above him in fact.

Elyx on the other hand had a magic that was a bit easier to identify. Wind magic, A rank class, though there was something a bit odd about it that he couldn't quite put his finger on. Perhaps he'd find out on the job.

The boats themselves were pretty interesting. He'd heard rumours of the naturally grown boats of Lavantir, but this was his first time seeing them, which was quite a feat considering he used to live in Hargeon town. They were certainly interesting though no match for the Saving Goddess or Lady Cythera. Still, impressive nonetheless. He quickly performed a hand stand and sprung off his feet landing on the mast of the ship back first where he stayed perfectly without dropping down at all. He had adjusted the effect of gravity on himself so that to him the mast was down.

With a gesture of his hand a guitar in the style of a fishbone appeared and he began to play a sea shanty. "Fifteen men on a dead man's chest
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
Drink and the devil be done for the rest
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum"

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 21st August 2015, 12:38 am

Kakuma watched the horizon as the boat set out to Hargion, she silent the entire time. She was deep in thought her actions in the guild, she was not a great guild master and was worrying about what the members thought. She had a lot of growing up to do, she didn't know what to do anymore. Kakuma sighed and looked at the singing man, she wondered how the Guild master of Blue Pegasus did things. Kakuma got up and walked over to the man, "Excuse me... Zack... I have a personal question... How does your Guild Master do things?" Kakuma didn't wait she took off and sat on the bow, it would be a long trip and she didn't need a immediate answer. The ride for Kakuma would be uneventful unless someone did something needing her.

When the trip was over Kakuma got off the boat and headed to a small bar near the docks. She entered the place and headed to her usual table, Kakuma wanted to get some food in her before they made the journey to the mountain. Kakuma sat down and waited for the waitress to come over.

"HEEEY! Kakuma welcome back." a short man with a large beard said as he walked up. "Are you eating today?" Kakuma nodded to the man, who immediately handed over a menu. "your normal drink?" The man waited on anyone else who joined her, then took off to fetch the drink(s).

Kakuma sighed and waited for her drink to arrive, she had decide on the pasta today. It was one of her favorite dishes from this place, not as good as what her guild member and new ace Magna could do. Not the she thought less of of this places, their food tasted good not that Kakuma tasted her food as she scarfed it. Kakuma looked around the bar, she would answer any question directed her way after she finished her food. She was in a mood today, not with reason though, she was wondering if she was worthy of being Black Rose's guild master.

Kakuma's food arrived and she slowly started eating, not scarfing her food like she usually did. She hoped Elyx would not notice her turmoil, she didn't know many of the guild well other than Misaki. Misaki, the woman that would be Kakuma wife, was the only person Kakuma knew really anything more than what could be found out via other people.

Post by King Elyx 21st August 2015, 5:43 am

The waters... Great. Elyx had never been a fan of water, he had a severe case of Aquaphobia. Large bodies of water would scare him, anything that he felt would drown him would cause him to freeze in place. However, this time, he was not going to let that create such a stupid scene. His crown shaped stainless steel necklace wrapped loosely around his neck, and with his magic energy flowed towards the medallion, it began to shine a little bit, activating its effect. The fear of water was being lifted from the boys emotions, those who used water against him while this has been put at a disadvantage, thinking they knew his weakness. His light brown eyes locked onto the water, and the boy simply ignored it instead of freezing. The way Zack got on board was certainly special, nothing that the Violinist was too capable of. Sure, he was an acrobatic, but he did not have that much strength, not that specific amount of strength at least.

Boarding on the boat regularly, he decided to lean over the edge of the ship, Ignite doing more or less the same thing. The other stronger ones can have their chats, Elyx was able to entertain himself anyways, that got him through many things before. To seem like less of a burden, he decided to avoid playing any music, which may have disturbed the conversing between the others. Ignite looked over the edge, placed her palm against her right cheek as the right elbow was on the edge of the ship, a bored facial expression as she looked at the waters. Elyx walked up from behind the She Phoenix and stood right next to her, there to comfort her. But as usual, she wasn't really that bothered. Heh, remember the last time we were on a boat? Allison was there. The She Phoenix, teased happily, only to receive a playful nudge from Elyx as she deserved. The both of them laugh it off, they were happy now while they were able to talk.

The boat ride felt rather brief, probably due to the two of them talking. It was nice to know that they were able to talk about such stupid things for hours without getting bored. Probably because there was nothing else to do, but that was besides the point. Elyx and Ignite boarded off of the ship, quietly as usual before the Violinist noticed that Kakuma was headed for a tavern. The both of them tilted their heads to the side, what did the tavern have to do with this mission? Elyx then had a theory of his own, maybe the Guildmaster was trying to get information of possibly a witness there. So instead of question, he decided to go inside. His hands were on the handles of his swords, anyone that tries anything with offering Ignite drinks is dead. She was too innocent to understand, and being a Phoenix, she is flammable when it comes to drinks, due to the intense amounts of alcohol. Elyx himself never drank either, he would rather not take shots even, just simply sit on a bar stool and take up space.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 21st August 2015, 12:44 pm

Zack had to grimace slightly as he was asked how the guild master of Blue Pegasus handled things. The answer to that was quite simple yet quite complex. "Well..the thing about the Blue Pegasus guild master....he likes to help his guild become stronger, but he's often away from the guild doing stupid or irresponsible things." he said trying to be almost nonchalant about it. This was going to be a tricky conversation. "Or he's hard to find as he ends up sleeping in odd places, usually pretty high up. He's always up for a fight, but tends to take things too far...crashing through buildings and the like." He wondered if any of them would guess he was the Blue Pegasus guild master. It was a recent promotion and he wasn't sure whether word of it had spread this far, especially with the Priory happenings all over Fiore. News of a guild master changing...probably wasn't that big. Well, it was, but not as big. "He tends to lose track of time and place...gets lost pretty easily. Still he does his best to be a good leader and help the guild grow, but he prefers to steer them into growing rather than leading if ya get what I mean."

Eventually they arrived at the port and rather than heading straight towards their next location they went into a bar. Kakuma apparently was here quite often as she was treated like a regular and even got her usual drink. Zack honestly didn't think any bar in the world knew him that well except perhaps the one in Malkariss, but that was a different dimension...so probably didn't count. He himself ordered duck served with a star mango sauce and a small rum and coke. IT wasn't much, but it would do him. The star mango had become one of his favourite foods recently and he often had it with a lot of dishes.

"So we are loading up on fuel before the job then Kakuma?" he asked curiously as in a blur of motion he sliced the duck into small bite size pieces. He didn't mind though he normally rushed everywhere. However, for this job he was on community service so decided to go with the flow and do what these two wanted to do. It was their job and they were in charge. He'd do what they said until battle came and then he'd fight his way in order to keep them alive. They were his allies, even temporarily, and he refused to let allies die.

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 27th August 2015, 8:16 am

Kakuma watched as Elyx moved to the bar, odd considering but she didn't mind. she watched as the man started in with his own food. She hopped Elyx could not hear her but continued anyways, "Sorry to ask such a odd question, but I am unsure of my role as a GM... It seems in many ways that I am more of a liability then anything, I feel like I'm nothing more than a figure head." Kakuma took another bite of her food, She was unsure of her role in life anymore and didn't know why. Everything was going great for her but some how that made her worried, could she protect it this time. Kakuma balled up her fist as she thought about everyone she put in danger with simply her presence in the guild. Kakuma sighed and finished her food, this time shoveling it into her mouth in a hurry. After she was done eating she waited for the others to finish their food before she stood up. "lets go..." Kakuma stepped outside looking around, "well then we need to get to the job site." Kakuma headed over to a small rental place, she would pay for a small vehicle which she would climb aboard. Kakuma would remain silent the entire trip over to the job area, once they got within range she stopped the vehicle.

Kakuma stepped out and looked around the landscape was volcanic, and they had to get up to a small castle looking place near the top of the mountain. Kakuma sighed and looked at the other two. "Well we are kinda there... shall we go fight some demons?" Kakuma laughed this would be her first time hunting Demons with her magic. She was looking forward to this, and she would not let the demons escape they would be taken to Black Roses Island. Kakuma was not so cruel that she would not give someone a chance to change if they refused they would be imprisoned. Kakuma unslung her sword and released the catch on it. Kakuma headed up forging her own way up, she had a pep to her step now, much unlike what she had earlier in the trip. Kakuma had a predatory look on her face, she was a hunter and the demons one the mountain... her prey. Her pace quicken with each step, Her tail swept back and forth with each step. She was quite happy and ready for this fight all her worry's about being guild master faded to the background for the moment.

Post by King Elyx 27th August 2015, 12:58 pm

Elyx walked into the bar, but it didn't seem like much was going on inside anyways. Such a shame, maybe the goal wasn't to get a bit of dirt in this place. Then why were they here in the first place anyways? This made the Violinist tilt his head to the side in question, but he would rather not worry about it. This was another test of patience once again, so instead of sitting down, he crossed his arms and looked around. Some of the men were trying to give Elyx menacing glares, some others were looking at Ignite with a gleam in their eyes. Now the boy was able to figure it out, and the first one to go for the She Phoenix in that was gets a new hole in their skull. To make sure of this, he placed both of his hands on the handles of the blades that were sheathed in their handles. This was a precaution, he was not actually going to bring them out if they were not needed. The real reason why he was planning to use his swords rather than his magic is because he did not have his Violin out. That, and he would rather make the first strike instead of letting Ignite burn this place down. Fortunately for the both of them, nothing was going to happen since Kakuma already left the bar just as quickly as they came in. Not a single amount of attention was given to her question that she had asked, he was too busy defending from something that wasn't going to happen. Ignite just simply watched the scene unfolded with a small bead of sweat rolling down her head before turning back to the door and walking, Elyx following up from behind as well.

Across the landscape, the group would be around there, but not quite there yet. With this being said, Elyx was ready to battle some demons. Heh, you know it! We'll strike them all down! The Violinist exclaimed before pulling out both of his blades, his body swarming in green light as the air in the blades began to swarm violently through his bloodstream. His light brown eyes turned light green, white speckles located right in the middle. The emotion of excitement was let through his body as well, it was demon hunting after all, who would not be so excited to have this much fun? Ignite seemed to think so as well. Heh, I can't wait either! I'll burn through them all! The She Phoenix exclaimed before Ignite clenched her fists and a grin was then placed onto her face. With that, they were ready for combat. The She Phoenix always had that fiery attitude, it was something that she had been born with. It was great for taking out targets, but a little problem with it is the fact that she might destroy other things in the process. She was a Phoenix after all, and one designed to use fire and be agile, she spreads fire all over the place.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 27th August 2015, 2:56 pm

"Being a leader of a guild, a team or whatever is hard. You have to put the team before yourself." Zack replied to Kakuma calmly and thoughtfully. There was an almost philosophical tone to his voice. "As steel sharpens sword, so a leader must sharpen those they lead. As long as you are helping your guildmates become better even slightly then you are doing fine." That was what Zack himself tried to. Then again he tried that with everyone just because he liked people to be strong enough that he could have fun fighting them in the future. "But that's just my idea on being a leader. Your guild might need something different. That's the thing about being a leader, you've got to do what's gonna help everyone the most. Never put yourself last though as if you're unhappy then as a leader that spreads to the group...and that just leads to bad things." He shrugged as he continued to eat his meal then paused again before continuing. "We all make mistakes though. Its how we learn. Just don't dwell on them too much. Elyx seems to respect you and so did the guards on your island so i'm sure you do a good job."

Soon they had left the restaurant and hopefully, Zack hoped, his words would help Kakuma in some way. It might make her decide she wasn't fit to lead the guild and to hand over the leadership, which may or may not be a bad thing. Sometimes you had to change in order to improve though he'd heard a lot of things about black rose. They were growing a name for themselves and he wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of them became wizard saints. He already knew at least one was a rising star. That was pretty impressive.

As the three allies came near their destination Elyx drew his swords and Kakuma asked if they were ready to fight some demons. Zack's answer was to draw his sword and rise slightly off the ground. It seemed all three were sword fighters and all three were raring for a fight with these demons. The female who had accompanied them seem raring to go as well and it was at that point that a small green light came out of his pocket and formed into a scarlet-haired armored woman with wings of light. In her hand was an intricate looking spear. "Coming out to join us ey Devon?" Zack said with a grin to which the fairy just smiled and nodded. It seemed that there would be at least five of them on this job. This was going to be interesting.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 9th September 2015, 11:17 am

Kakuma got annoyed quickly as the slope got steeper and steeper as they moved up, she changed forms and moving up the slope quickly as a wolf. she came over a lip of a small zone only to have a fire ball spell hit near her, she spun around quickly to see quite a few men and women running out of a small cave near by, Kakuma changed back to her human form. She held her blade in front of herself waiting for the idiots to get close enough, when the first set of people got within three paces of herself she took a single step forward, she became a beam of light the moved behind the fools. As she came out of her spell she spun around and swung her blade at the back of the first man in range, he went down in a single blow. They recovered quickly and at the sound of the man screaming in pain all turned around. Kakuma clawed a woman in the face, she went down with a screech, another man ran up holding a blade of fire. He swung it at her wildly, she ducked under it but the blade cut and burned some of her hair. Kakuma lashed out with her food and caught the man right in the chest with enough force to break a couple of his ribs. The man hit the ground groaning, Kakuma simply stepped over him and started in on the next fool dumb enough to get in her way. she downed to more and they started to flee, tripping over each other, most ran right at Elyx and Zack. One man did stay though he held a silver sword at the ready, Kakuma looked at the man as the other fled. "So i take it you have a death wish?" Kakuma shifted her blade to her other hand and readied herself.

The man took a step to his right so Kakuma took a step to the left. they watched each for signs of attack, it was Kakuma who broke first. She lunged forward swinging her blade in from the right, the man blocked it with ease, then elbowed her in the face. Kakuma pivoted with the blow, lessening its effectiveness, she heard the whooshing of the mans blade from her right. She rolled out of the way, she felt the blade misses her by less than a inch. She rolled to her feet and brought her blade to bear, just in time to block the mans next attack. Kakuma smiled. "OH this is fun."

Post by King Elyx 10th September 2015, 5:58 pm

The light green eyes of the boy and the light orange eyes of the She Phoenix were onto the hounds, who seemed to b e spitting out fire in their direction. The staring didn't take long before one of the two groups made a move, one Hellhound jumping forward with intention to fight, it's burning eyes clearly showed it. Elyx smiled as he paced forward, accepting the challenge presented in front of them. Dirty play was shown though, the other Hellhounds followed up right behind the Violinist. That was fine, his smile was still on his face, his eyes locked, the blur in his steps and the ground cracking as he did so. Ignite just watched with her arms crossed under her chest, it was clear that help wasn't needed. The boy made the first move, slicing his blade downwards, which the hound stepped to the side in time to avoid. The wind flow warned the boy quickly as the hound aimed a leap at the exposed stomach, in which the boy spun around in a 270 degree motion, slicing the hound at it's face with intense pressure. It's flames got onto his blade upon the impact, the hound sent rolling on the ground before the boy looked up to see the rest of the pack approaching. Some threw a few fireballs from their mouths, it seemed they were able to do that nowadays. Ignite had Elyx covered from behind though, her body blurring and leaving a huge amount of wind to hit the boy as she passed Elyx, then combined all of the flames into a snake of fire spinning around her body. The She Phoenix jumped into the air, both palms above her head, the fire being manipulated to follow her movement. Finally, she slammed her hands downwards, the snake of fire obeying her command and making impact with the ground, and explosion of fire occurring after the fact, the bodies of the hounds flying right after the fact.

The She Phoenix landed on the ground with her knees crouched and a smile on her face. Elyx smirked as his light green eyes went back to regular light brown. Always have to be the center of attention, huh? The boy teased before walking up behind her, then giving her a fist bump before looking at the stumbling hounds. They were not quite down and out yet, the both of them have some more work to do it seemed. Surprisingly enough, they took some powerful hits, one from a specially designed blade, and one that mixed all of their attacks into one that hit them all with that much damage. Ignite nodded her head once before putting herself in a fighting stance, two hands balled up in fire, ready to charge at the first fool to run over to her. Fighting was always serious to her, her outside of combat personality no longer exists, she is actually rather scary while she is like this. The boy was glad that she was one his side. He pulled out his Violin from his knapsack, ready to strike hard with wind magic now. Because as we all know, Fire hates more oxygen. Then again, too much oxygen cancels out fire.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 11th September 2015, 12:56 am

Zack exhaled deeply as he watched the battle unfolding. The battle progressed quickly and many fell to the combined efforts of the three black rose fighters. However, there were a few left and Zack blurred forward launching a powerful punch at the face of one of the people who tried to flee the onslaught that was Kakuma. Time seemed to briefly slow down as his fist collided with the soft flesh of the man the skin rippling with the impact. The man didn't seem to move for a moment and then suddenly went flying back through several large boulders. Some of the other men quickly came in to try to attack him. They surrounded him and all began to prepare spells, but he just swung round and round house kicked two of them and sent them flying as well. He looked around at the remaining ones who had stopped casting in shock.

"Anyone else?" he said with a wicked grin upon his face as he flared his magic power slightly and shaped some light around him to form an aura that was reminiscent of his takeover form. The sheer fierceness of this image and the power of his aura was far too intimidating for the men after what they had been through. First an angry she wolf, then some fire bird turning the hell hounds attacks back at them and now a person whose feet literally didn't touch the ground and now this? Yeah, they weren't that dedicated to the cause for that.

"They don't pay me enough for this shit." one said before turning and bolting going straight into Devon who rammed her spear butt first into his stomach then swung it up to crack him in the chin.

"Bad manners will be punished." she said with a frown as she assumed an attacking stance and beckoned the others to attack her. However, they really had decided they had been beaten up enough and seen enough for that day so they all bolted in various directions. "Bah...cowards."

Zack sighed deeply and looked over at Elyx who was still fighting some hell hounds. It didn't seem like he needed any help and nor did Kakuma. He was honestly quite dissapointed to many had fled so readily. He hadn't even got to use anywhere near his full strength. He hadn't even used a spell. Heck, as they ran he gauged their magic power and all of them were C rank mages, but none of them managed to even get off a spell. Maybe he hadn't held back enough? Oh well, he was sure something more interesting would happen on the job.

Kakuma spun her blade, twisting the mans blade out of the way, then slashed at the man with her claws. He was not expecting the claws and got his arm cut, he backed off a couple of steps and ripped some of his clothing off and wrapped it around the 4 parallel cuts. Kakuma just smiled and started humming to herself, the man glared at her, "your toying with me?!?" he asked, clearly annoyed by Kakuma's lack of seriousness.

She blinked at the man and corrected her stance, "Toying with you? No... i am enjoy fighting you. Why would i toy with you?" Kakuma seriously didn't understand the man annoyance. "out of all the idiots that where here you were the only one brave enough and skilled enough to stand against me, so color me entertained."

The man made a foul face, "Bitch..." The man took a step forward and swung his sword at her, Kakuma brought her blade up and blocked the attack. Kakuma was not happy getting called a bitch, she pivoted past the mans ark of attack and kicked out his knee. She grabbed the mans sword arm and twisted it until he dropped the blade. "Arrg... You stupid bi.." Kakuma elbowed him in the face.

"Silence... I showed your respect as a warrior, and you showed that your are a pathetic excuse for a human." Kakuma was quite angry, "You have potential human, but you choose to follow those who want destruction, and because of such... Me and my guild will be there to stop you and your companions ever time." Kakuma hit the man harder this time, knocking the consciousness from him. Kakuma straightened up and sheathed her blade, she walked back a bit and watched her companions deal with the others, she smiled with pride. Her guild was not powerful but it was indeed strong as a family.

*Pride is a vice my dear* Nizria, who had been quite silent of late chimed in. *But i can see why.*

Kakuma blinked at Nizria's words, the demon had not been much of a problem of late. She had not felt her make any attempts to take her body or soul in some time. *You have been... quiet... what are you planning.* Kakuma narrowed her eyes as she responded to Nizria.

Nizria sighed inside Kakuma's head. *I have decided that taking your body will do nothing for me. I wish to leave... and join Black Rose...* Kakuma could sense the demons embarrassment.

*Join... Black Rose?* Kakuma thought about it, *Well i don't discriminate on who joins, as long as you follow the rules your welcome to join Nizria. First we have to get you out of me.* Kakuma laughed, she was oddly happy about what had been said.

Post by King Elyx 11th September 2015, 12:56 pm

The both of the fighters were ready to battle, the hellhounds walking up slowly towards them from all around. It was rather odd, what was their plan? Elyx had his Eyepiece ready to predict the ambush just in case the hounds do something reckless. Their steps were even when they walked, as if they all thought of something at the same time. The boy had both of his blades extended, the She Phoenix had both of her palms filled with fire. The hounds were stepping closer to the point in which they all surrounded, but they were not growling or snarling like last time. Instead however, they seemed rather peaceful, or look as peaceful as they could. They continued walking, past Elyx and towards the She Phoenix, some rubbing their heads against her legs. This caused the both of them to shoot their eyes wide open with shock to say the least, but this was quite the development. Ignite, I think they are taking a liking to you, right? The Violinist asked as he then sheathed both of his swords in their scabbards. Ignite began to smile as she placed herself on her knees, one of the hounds pouncing playfully into her arms, then licked her with affection. It was such an adorable thing to see, though the lick did contain much fire. Ignite was a Phoenix Bird, it was something that she was used to, being exposed to so much heat. Maybe that was the reason why they liked her so much, they were able to relate to her element.

It looked like she finally had a pet of her own as well, fire beings seemed to have amazing relationships with each other. This placed a smile on his face before he looked forward, the others seemed to have their jobs taken care of. The Guild Ace made an approach to them, it seemed like the world was being nicer to Elyx now, he was able to get a few Hound allies on top of the top allies he already had. It was rare for him to even see higher powered mages, it made him feel disappointed at first, but now he felt happy that he could be like a child once again. Recent activities such as the whole incident in Talonia, the fight to keep on his clothes, and the explosions in the mines were all putting the stress on him. To obtain at least one day off was like having a day of rain in the desert.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Rosetta Crawford 13th September 2015, 2:38 pm

The opponents that they had faced so far had fallen to the might of the three mage's and their two companions. One of whom had apparently been so impressive that she had managed to tame the hell hounds and bring them onto their side, if only temporarily. That in itself was of great use as it gave them some more numbers which would likely be useful in the battles ahead if they continued to come at them in such numbers. However, so far Zack had not felt threatened in the slightest and had not even exerted anywhere near his full strength or speed or skill. In truth, he knew the job had importance and that he was here as community service for destroying Elyx's house, but in a way he was growing bored. The only thing keeping him entertained was seeing the other's fight. At least that showed him how they fought and seeing new people fight always interested him.

He exhaled deeply and then held out his hand pointing it towards the direction the cultists had initially come from. He was trying to use his glove's ability in order to detect the magic aura of the true enemy. Unfortunately, it seemed there was too much rock in the way and that was dispersing the aura making it impossible to identify. Truly unfortunate. However, it was a fact that there was something here that was pretty powerful. He swung his sword around a few times and threw it up in the air before flipping at the precise time to allow it to slip into the sheath at his waist. It wasn't so much him showing off as just an exercise to keep his levels of control and precision high.

"The mages we fought came from a cave. Should we see if the cave leads us to our target?" he suggested. He was not the lead on this mission despite being the strongest. No, he would listen to Elyx on this job who would likely listen to his guildmaster therefore Kakuma was the lead. As such the decision remained with her. However, it seemed like a good one in his mind. "Perhaps we should move stealthily to avoid further pointless battles?" He had a few spells for that, some which might help him at least proceed without running into any needless battles. Battles against those who were too cowardly to fight didn't interest him nor was there any point. He fought to save lives, to save towns. He fought because he liked a goof fight. None of what they had seen so far had fit any of that criteria.

Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma] Empty Re: Hell to Pay (Part 1) [Job/Zack/Kakuma]

Post by Kakuma Blackflower 14th September 2015, 8:43 am

Kakuma watched as the other did their thing, it was gonna be a good day. She turned and headed into the tunnel as Elyx and Zack started talking, she wanted to put Elyx in as little danger as possible. The floor was warm to her bare feet, although the air was stuffy and sooty. Kakuma sighed as she walked. "Nizria... what do you know about the demon here?" Kakuma wanted all the info she could get.

*hmm well i don't know much, i have been... away for to long. The ranks of demons are constantly in flux.* Nizria thought about it for a second. *Yeah sorry Kakuma i don't know who could be the leader of these fools.*

Kakuma sighed and kept walking, she entered a large cavern only to find another group of cultist and another group of hell hounds. "well then... i guess we can beat it out of these idiots!" Kakuma drew her blade again and charged at the group, one pointed at her and yelled for the others to attack. Kakuma was ready for them, ready to end their lives if need be. Kakuma knew well the evil demons and their followers could show, and it always got worse. It spread like a plague, one that was best destroyed before it became a issue. Kakuma cut into the Cultists like a hot knife through butter, she had no mercy for this group, she cut all who stood before her down. The cultist fell in one by one, their blood staining the floor, then came the hell hounds. Kakuma changed forms and started in on them next, she just had at them using her fangs and claws. She finished in less then 3 minutes, all her enemys dead, but she had not gone unscathed. As she changed back, huffing and puffing, she heard the drip of a liquid hitting the floor, she realized quickly that it was her own blood. She looked around to see more Cultists and hounds coming out to fight her, she had only killed about 9 of them total, most likely the forward scouts. "Crap..." she mumbled to herself as they all saw her and made a break for her. She spun on her heel and charged headlong back down the tunnel, her anger and hatred had gotten the better of her.

*Kakuma you know better than to lose it like that... you have things to live for now remember.* Nizria shouted at her inside her head. Kakuma scowled at the fact a demon was reminding her of what she had to lose. Kakuma's knee gave out, a cut on the back of it was the cause, and she tumbled face first into the stone. She heard the sound of foot steps closing in on her, "Damn... I'm dead...." Kakuma closed her eyes and waited for the end to come.

(OCC: Please not this is not me killing her off... this is apart of her char growth, please don't panic as Kakuma is realizing she is not as strong as she believed she was.)
