Through the speakers, an announcer cried as the crowd of the arena roared. ”Good afternoon fans of the Arena. Again we have a match for you. Two mages once more have decided to forgo their magic to fight like true warriors with just weapons in the arena. In this battle there is no armor, no magic items; just their flesh and weapons.” The announcement spoke before he pointed his hand out towards one of the gates. ”Returning from his last victory, Kiku Dax of Infinity Hydra. It seems he’s changed a bit since he was last here, and it seems he has a new weapon. Are we going to see another interesting show like last time? On the otherside we have a guildless mage. Origin unknown. A new guy to the arena. How are things going to go down now?”
Kiku would sigh as he moved from the entrance of the arena to 7 meters from the door that would led to his entrance. Since the last time he was in the arena, his style of weapon had changed. He now had a short looking weapon; an ornate looking short spear in his right hand. Though what many around most likely wouldn’t notice the fact that off the blade of the weapon was an additional foot of wind that radiated from the weapon itself in the form of a blade.
Kiku’s eyes gazed out as he waited for his opponent to show up. Today would be a good day for a fight. The sun was shining, and not a cloud in the sky. It was just perfect.

| Speculo sighed before walking out of the arena gates. No magic, huh? Well, he had his Katana, which was magical. He didn't want to cheat, but didn't know if it was against the rules. Not like anyone would see it's effects. All it would look like was happening was Speculo deflecting blows easily. He gave a small smirk. The announcer was going off on.. announcer stuff. Speculo may be new to the arena, but he wasn't new to combat in any way. He moved around 10 M into the arena, sizing up the man he saw. He had a fancy looking short spear. From the announcer, this guy knew this arena and was familiar with it. He was currently looking up at the sky, and Speculo followed his gaze. Not a cloud in sight.... perfect. Good thing he kept his gloves with mirrors on and he polished his sword. |
