Magic
Primary Magic: Dream/Nightmare Magic
Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: Castor
Description: Dream Magic is a type of magic that is based off of light and darkness, which is controlled by the users imagination. With it, any fantasy can become a reality, attacks are most creative, access to almost anything is possible, there is not much one can't do with an extensive imagination. The user can forge normal weapons out of light magic and have them float around them, or create illusions of dark magic with normal weapons in each of their hands. Naturally, this take mastery, and if one were to attempt a dream magic spell that is higher in magic power than they can spare, the spell becomes a Nightmare magic, which will attack the user and their allies. Nightmare magic is what occurs whenever a dream magic spell is corrupt. When the magic power of a user is too low, this will occur, meaning the user would end up battling their own magic. Weapons created from this are considered to be normal weapons, none that bear abilities or anything of the sort.
Kai has a pretty active imagination, reading many books as a child and currently many books on history and inventions. He knows many things and with his fast-paced imagination, has the ability to bring out what he feels is most convenient for him whenever it is needed. It is sort of like a weaker version of Make-Magic, but he has taught himself the things that he could do with magic that runs on imagination. He can use light magic to heal himself for example, which is not a form of Make-Magic, and makes Dream magic different from that. Whenever he attacks and opponent, he would more often than not create many weapons first, then use his first ability to cause them to float in the air, causing them all to attack an opponent all at one time. When he mixes his magic together instead of letting them solely rely on their own strength, he gets far in battle.
Strengths:
-Almost no limits into what the user can create. The more powerful it is, the more magic power it requires to cast out a spell. A sword with no magic would be D rank. A flying Sniper Rifle with explosive bullets probably rank in B rank spells. A realistic illusion of another mage would probably be S rank.
-Creativity is not something that one can take away, with imagination, anything is possible with the right amount of magic. While a mage is D rank, their magic may be limited to a certain amount of imagination to reality Dream Magic. When an S rank mage does it however, they would be able to do almost anything with their magic, or simply cast out lower amounts of imagination at ease.
-This is a magic made out of light and darkness, the four elements are not considered any stronger. When the user is facing off against a mage that uses either light or dark magic, the user can switch in between both and overpower their opponents easily. This could be considered a Twilight sort of magic.
Weaknesses:
-Dream magic requires magic power, and lots of it for it to be powerful. Beginning spells are normally reliant on each other in order to actually be effective in combat. But while they act on their own, it is not that hard to destroy or negate those spells. For example, a regular sword made from Dream magic is just as effective as a regular sword, not a magic sword.
-If the user attempts to use a spell while their magic power is at 20% or less, the magic becomes nightmare magic. Nightmare magic becomes a rebellious sort of magic that attacks the user and their allies.
-Focusing on his imagination, sometimes the user is forced to put off their focus on the battle to cast out a spell. If they are unable to take some focus away from the battle, they are unable to cast out any dream spells.
-Elemental attacks can just about take out these knives easily, one elemental spell is all it would take to have these knives fall in place. Earth will block metal easily, Water will stop the knives no problem, and in worst case scenarios, Wind will case the knives under their control. Fire... might not affect the knives too much.

- Lineage:
- Lineage: Silver Chaotica
Description: The Silver chaotica was a man who sold his soul to the primordial spirit known as Chaos. Chaos was said to be the fifth rider of the four horseman of the apocalypse who wielded a sword so cold that it burned. This aura, which surrounded both him and his sword, is what the crimson chaotica gained. However, his body could not contain the chaotic power and he went on a rampage destroying much. His descendants gained a lesser form of this power, which allowed them to enter a berserk state to gain the power of Chaos.
Ability: The user of this lineage can enter the state known as Chaotica. This state gives them a rank-appropriate silver aura that is so cold that it causes intense burning on touch. However, whilst this aura is in effect they go into a massive rampage trying to destroy everything around them whether it be friend, foe or tree.
Usage: For the duration of four posts they gain an aura equal to their rank which will cause intense freeze burns on contact. They will also enter a berserk state ignoring pain and trying to destroy everything in their path. This has a six post cool-down and can only be used twice per thread.
- Abilities:
- Unique Abilities:
-Levitation Image:Whenever the user is casting out Dream magic that summons a form of weapon, they can control the weapon with their minds, keeping the users hands from behind used, yet the weapons can still attack with physical damage. This can be done with up to five weapons casted out with equal or less ranking of the user.
-Dream Weaponry: Once per turn, the user can use Dream magic to craft a normal weapon of equal ranking to their rank. Being a normal weapon, it does not have any abilities nor does it have any magic. For every weapon pulled with this ability, 5% of the users magic power is drained.
-Dreamrail: The user has the ability to summon the Dreamrail. The Dreamrail is a rail that accelerates the one who jumps onto it. As the user rides on the Dreamrail, their minds create more of the rail as they continue to go onto it. It is like someone grinding down a rail, but it can be done in any direction and will keep going until the user jumps off of the rail. This is good for evasion and to gain a bit of height as well. For every turn this ability is used, 10% of the users magic power is drained.
-At the cost of 10 Mp, the user is able to shatter to pieces of light and travel at 25MPH towards a different location before the pieces of light form into his body once again. This can only be used to travel up to 10 meters without any further cost. For each more meter added, 2 more Mp is used. So for 20 meters, 30 Mp would have to be paid.
- D Rank Spells:
- Dream Sheep:
- Name: Dream Sheep
Rank: D
Type: Supportive/Defensive
Duration: 2 Turns
Cooldown: 3 Turns
Description: When this spell is used, the user creates 2 illusions. A light illusion of a sheep and a dark illusion of a sheep. Being sheep, they are obedient, but Naive. They will stay by their masters side while the user is focusing at least 50% of their attention on them, but will stray away if any less. Each sheep can take 2 D rank hits before they are shattered to pieces of light or darkness (Depending on the sheep killed). When an attack hits them, the wool is thick enough to bounce the blade off. They will feel the damage, but won't be knocked back by a spell or attack of equal ranking or less than that of the users rank.
Strengths:
-These sheep are like Scapegoat, adorable, but are willing to take the damage for their master at all costs. They both provide defenses for their owner and think of nothing when it comes to taking a hit for their owner.
-Being sheep, they are adorable. There is almost no difference between a Dream Sheep and a regular sheep. Someone affected from something as innocent and adorable as a sheep may get thrown off by the Dream animals and leave themselves exposed to the user for an attack.
-Whenever a sheep takes a hit, it does not flinch since it knows it's role as a shield. Once that sheep is defeated, it is not murdered forever. It will return whenever the user summons it once again.
Weaknesses:
-When not enough attention is given to the sheep, they will do what many sheep do when they are not given attention and ditz around, losing their purpose as shields.
-Sheep are not that fast when it comes to running compared to mages. The user probably should remain stationary if the Dream Sheep are needed as shields. Otherwise, the user would outrun the sheep and lose their shields.
-Being innocent and adorable, whenever the user sees once of them die, the noise they make when they die makes them feel guilty and possibly angry at whatever killed them, making them a little bit more corrupt.
-If the Sheep like the user, they will try to be close to the user as possible. this might end up getting in the users way, limiting their mobility, and if the user is not careful, they might accidentally hit a sheep.
- Dream Hand:
- Name: Dream Hand
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Supportive
Duration: 2 Turns
Cooldown: 3 Turns
Description: The user casts out a dark magic spell that brings out a hand made of dark magic. It is about the size of a pillow, and can act as a third hand for the user. It is controlled by the users hands, all of it's movement controlled by the users right hand. It can become a fist to attack, it can pick up items with it's fingers, just like a regular hand could function. This fist can go up to 10 meters away from the user before it shatters to pieces of dark magic. Once this happen, the cooldown begins. It takes 1 D rank worth of damage to destroy this spell.
Strengths:
-It functions as a hand that can go up to 10 meters away, allowing the user to reach things or attack things at long distances, keeping them safe from much harm just in case something bad would happen if the user were to enter an area where the hand is located.
-It is easy to control, it mimics the user the user uses their right hand. If the user wants to grip onto something, they grip their right fist, and the hand does the same thing. It's an easy process.
-This is a hand made of darkness, it gives off a more intimidating vibe whenever it unleashes an attack with it's dark Aura, possibly sending away foes of equal ranking who might be intimidated by dark magic.
Weaknesses:
-The user must be careful with how they move the hand, if they are trying to use other actions might move in that same way, possibly destroying itself or hitting one of the users allies, possibly the user himself.
-Once the hand gets out of the 10 meter range, the hand would shatter to pieces and begin the cooldown. The user is casting a D rank spell after all, their magic can't go further than that. Once it does, it's no longer under the users control, having no guide, the spell is instantly through.
-It takes 1 D rank worth of damage to defeat. No lower ranks... It's weak at defenses, too weak to survive for long.
-When the user casts out this spell, their focus is placed on the spell heavily, which might cause them to avoid using their other spells correctly since this one needs almost half of the user attention.
- Nightmare Drain:
- Name: Nightmare Drain
Rank: D
Type: Offensive/Supportive
Duration: 1 Turns
Cooldown: 3 Turns
Description: This is a dark magic dream spell. When the user grips an enemy and holds them into the air, they can use this spell. This spell swarms the grabbed enemy with dark magic and forces them to take D rank damage for that. In return, the user also gains 5% of their health to heal themselves. Once this spell is over, the dark magic forces the users hand open to let their target go. This is a good spell used to gain the upper hand in combat while a little bit low on health.
Strengths:
-This spell inflicts a full D rank damage within just one turn, creating a brief comeback rather than having the damage spread out in, 3 turns for example. This gives the user more time to use other spells after this one is finished.
-Being a D rank spell, it steals 5% of health for the user. But that is actually a lot while facing off against D rank enemies, when inflicting 10% damage to them is not enough, the user stands even a little taller with a little health recovered.
-The user holds up the enemy while casting this spell, not letting their feet touch the ground. This gives the target less of a chance to counter the attack since they have no land to grip their feet upon.
Weaknesses:
-This is a dark magic spell, which would give the impression of the user to be corrupt, considering the current circumstances of what guild the user is in, the user may gain a bit of doubt from allies for user a dark spell that steals health from other mages.
-The user must be able to get a grip on an enemy with their own hands, and must be holding them up in the air as well. This would be a bit difficult when facing enemies that deal with long range attacks.
-Once this spell is casted, the users hand is forced open, meaning they will just drop their target onto their feet, giving them a chance to counter. The user can't throw them or do anything similar, they are just forced to simply, drop.
-It just heals 5% of damage, but this number drops depending on the enemy. A C rank enemy, would take 5% damage and heal the user 2.5% damage. B rank would take 2.5% damage and 1.25% damage is healed to the user, and so on.
- Dream Data Shield:
- Name: Dream Data Shield
Rank: D
Type: Defensive
Duration: 2 Turns
Cooldown: 3 Turns
Description: This is a light magic dream spell designed to defend the user. The users hands are swarmed with light magic. Whenever an attack of any type is coming after the user, the user an placed their palm in the area in which the attack is coming from. From there, a data shield is created upon impact, which then disappears after the attack is done. They can keep doing this for two turns. The user must be able to pinpoint where the attack is coming from and place their hand accordingly so this shield can work. If they miss, the shield does not activate, and more likely than not, they will take the hit. This shield can only block D rank attacks, but C rank or higher will shatter the shield it hit and inflict full damage.
Strengths:
-This shield is activated just by moving a hand to a certain point in which the attack is coming from. If the user can move fast enough, they would be blocking multiple attacks for ages.
-This is light magic, which gives off the impression that the user is siding with the legal. This can even be proven since this spell can also protect allies, all the user has to do is block an attack coming to them with the users hands.
-This is a portable spell, is can be used while the user is running or casting out other spells.
Weaknesses:
-The user must be able to even see where the attack is going to hit before being able to block it. If they block incorrectly, they would end up missing, meaning the Data Shield would not activate and the attack is successful.
-Just because one can see an attack does not mean one can block an attack. If the user sees an attack, good for them. But their reflexes and speed might not be able to catch up to the attack, and they might be unable to move their hands fast enough to block the attack.
-If an attack is C rank or above, it will get through this shield instantly and inflict full damage. The shield would be instantly shattered, and the spell would be negated, beginning the cooldown.
-In order to use this spell, the user must have at least one free hand. If one of their hands are occupied with an item inside of it, say, a weapon for example, they are unable to use this shield, even if the hands shine with light magic.
- C Rank Spells:
- Overwhelming Shadows:
- Name: Overwhelming Shadows
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Duration: 3 Turns
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description: The user can split his body into three, lighter versions of himself, one being the original, two being clones that he is able to control with his mind. Due to them being lighter illusions made from his body, they all inflict 1/3 of the regular C rank damage he would usually inflict per hit. This is used to confuse and overpower the opponents with their numbers. However, the user must control them with their mind, giving them much attention to make sure they are effective in battle. Any damage that they take, the original use takes. So basically, one target became three. However, this is also adding two extra arms to help the user.
Strengths: -The user gains two more clones to help them, both of them able to help the user in battle whenever it is needed. So while one might be trapped, the other might be able to free the user.
-They all inflict damage like regular mages, so they are able to put a hurt on their enemies rather easily since they could all just simply attack at the same time.
-This spell uses dark Dream magic, allowing them to add intimidation when casting this spell. This is shown to be dark magic when the clones are created from darkness.
Weaknesses: -The clones all take damage as well, they aren't like illusions, which can let all attacks go through them without any harm done to the user.
-There are three targets now instead of one, making the user much more vulnerable to losing health since enemies can hit any of them to inflict damage.
-The damage among them is cut heavily among themselves so that together, they would all inflict one C rank worth of damage. So if only one lands a hit, only 1/3 of a C rank hit is done in damage.
-The clones are unable to use any spells, only the original one of the three can. That would give them away however if they cast a spell in front of the enemies eyes.
- Nightmare Grudge:
- Name: Nightmare Grudge
Rank: C
Type: Support/Offense
Duration: 3 Turns
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description: Summons a Reaper with a hood and a scythe over one targets head within 20 meters of the user, which can't be destroyed by physical attacks. While it is active over a targets head, it will follow the target above their head and slice down onto them, inflicting half of a C rank attack. Eventually, after three turns, the Reaper would inflict 50% more than the average C rank hit. Unfortunately, magic attacks would be able to get rid of the troublesome enemy. Three C rank hits will defeat this phantom and force it to disappear, beginning the cooldown. If the reaper is at least 50 meters away from the user, the reaper will disappear as well, due to lack of magic presence.
Strengths: - This reaper will attack enemies on it's own without the user controlling it. This will give the user peace of mind knowing that damage will be inflicted without them doing anything.
-The user can cast other spells while this spell is active, the reaper acting on it's own while it declares attacks onto the target it is hovering above.
-This spell uses dark Dream magic, allowing them to add intimidation when casting this spell. This is shown to be dark magic when the clones are created from darkness.
Weaknesses:
-Any higher ranked mage can avoid this by simply running fast enough to avoid the scythe. Equal or lower ranking mages might have a hard time with running from this attack.
-This reaper can be taken out with 3 C ranked magic attacks, which is the most commonly used form of attack anyways. Weapons with magic on it will be able to strike the reaper.
-If the Reaper and the user are 50 meters or more away from each other in distance, the Reaper will shatter to pieces due to lack of magic power present, beginning the cooldown.
-A scythe can be blocked by any sort of attack, even if the reapers body can't be hit with physical things, the scythe can be blocked with physical weapons.
- Dream Void:
- Name: Dream Void
Rank: C
Type: Defense
Duration: 3 Turns
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description: The user can open up a void that will capture any C ranked or lower human-sized magic attack, this void being open up to 10 meters away. The user then can close the void and keep it. While the duration is active, the user is able to choose a target up to 20 meters away and open the void again, redirecting the attack to come back to hit back towards an enemy. A higher ranked attack will completely run over this void, activating the cooldown, and the attacking spell isn't slowed down.
Strengths: - This spell prevents an attack from hitting the user, no damage inflicted when captured in the void.
-The void can be opened up again to use an enemies magic attack and shoot it back towards them, without the cost of the users own magic power.
-The user can cast other spells while this spell is active, the void doesn't restrict the user from casting anything else. After all, the magic cost had already been paid.
Weaknesses:
-The user only has so much range while they shoot back at an enemy, 20 meters since if it were to go any further, it would probably cancel out due to lack of magic presence.
-The void can be destroyed by higher ranked spells instantly, not even a portion of that attack captured, causing the cooldown to begin instantly.
-Once the duration of the spell is done, if the user didn't open and redirect the attack, they would be unable to since the spell is no longer active. They have a limited amount of time to open the void.
-Using dark dream magic, this spell objects to what the user guild stands for. This might get his allies to turn on him and even attack him.
- Signature:
Name: Dream Cannon
Rank: C
Type: Offense
Cooldown: 2 Turns (When destroyed)
Description: The user is able to summon a cannon made of light dream magic, which floats 2 feet above their head and follows the user wherever they go. Once per turn, the user is able to have the cannon fire at a target up to 20 meters away with a beam of light at 20MPH, inflicting regular C rank damage onto them. This cannon can be destroyed with 3 C rank hits, causing the cooldown to occur. However, if not touched at all, the cannon will always remain by the users side. The cannon is fired when the user puts out their palm towards the desired target.
Strengths: -This is a cannon made from light magic, allowing the user to give a good impression to their allies when fighting in combat. This lowers any suspicions one may have about the user being able to use dark magic
-This cannon acts as an extra arm, inflicting an additional C ranks worth of damage once per turn on top of whatever else the user does. Though it may not fire on it's own.
-The cannon follows the user wherever the user runs, regardless of how much focus is placed on it. So the user doesn't have to worry about losing this weapon.
Weaknesses:
-This cannon can be destroyed with 3 C rank hits, in which it will not be active for 2 turns after the fact.
-The light beam it shoots will fire up to 20 meters away, in which the beam will stop itself from that point to avoid going any further.
-This being above the users head, it provides the user no defense capabilities whatsoever, regardless of attempts for this use.
-The user must put out their palm towards the target without using any spells, which may sometimes not be possible since the hand must be outstretched, putting the user at even more risk due to the user now being a bigger target.
