Geomancer's Lair (Solo/Job)

What it means to be human!? You don't even know the first meaning of existence! Adrelissa is still alive an you left her for dead! You don't even know what pain she has gone through because of you! You hear me Elyx! Adrelissa is alive! The girl said as she charged towards Elyx with her flight coming at such a high speed. The elements in both of her hands formed into monsters, which soon then hit the ground. The boy felt the music around him begin to flow, his imagination taking over this scene once again. It was a dubstep song, perfect for motivation. The boy felt his blood rushing through his body as he then began to summon his Violin into his hands once again. The left hand as usual had the bow of the Violin, which was the only way he would be able to play the songs. Without the bow, he was useless. The Violin formed in his other hand, a true instrument of destruction. It also gave him the ability to evade whenever it was needed and his magic could not be manipulated in any form or way. This was beyond perfect, his defenses were ready. The boy began to play his Violin, not aiming for a Wind Lerale spell, which may have seemed like a good idea, but a Wind-Make Awakened Spell. This was Wind-Make Awakened: Reform. It did not allow any other elements inside of it, due to the fact that it was supposed to make wind. Wind Make Awakened is supposed to be a reverse version, in which it is Wind that can be made. Nimpha made a unique set of spells for him, that was for sure.

I believe that your mind games and you can all go to hell! You speak of nothing but lies! Elyx exclaimed as he then had his own invisible shield. The water and the Earth elemental all shot towards him, but they only dissolved into wind when they came within 5 meters. There was no hope for their survival in the beginning, Elyx set up this spell so that no magic could enter it without his permission. Being a Wind Mage, this was not a problem. Wind was infinite, the spells last as long as your creativity, which is what Nimpha taught him when he needed to create She based this magic off of a Make sort of magic, which is probably the most creative types of spell. No book to learn by, just simply imagine and create as you battle. This has proven to be very effective in battle as well, it was just so perfect. The boy umped towards the girl, her winds blocking his first attack, but then it became damaged after Elyx purposely hit the wing over and over again. No shield was going to get in the way. Finally, Elyx was able to use Wind Recovery as an attack as he spun over the wing and sliced down the stomach of the beast, causing her to scream in pain as it lost a bit of control. It went down with Elyx, one landing gracefully, and one landing with a thud. Your magic is worthless against me.

That's what you think... Dark Cage! The girl exclaimed as she put out a palm, and surprisingly, she caught him. The boy felt the darkness swarm around his body, and it felt like there was no way to get out of here. He wrapped his fingers over the darkness, a snarl on his face. The girl placed her hand out, and a similar to that of a hand of her own. The hand began to pat his head, and he could do nothing about it but clench his eyes together tightly. That was about it. He felt so helpless, and he was being petted like a dog. This was not right, he knew that he would not be her slave. Ending this would be a good idea if he could get out. The thought of being her pet made him sick. Eventually, the both of them would realize that they were alone, and then in order to avoid that loneliness… No… He could not let that happen. The boy would rather die than let anything like that happen to him, not with this crazy girl, not with anyone ever again! He damaged and felt damaged by Adrelissas life turning into a death, to go through that all over again, he did not feel like he could do such a thing. But once again, he remembered a previous conversation. It would not make just him happy, but someone else as well. The boy remembered when there was a strict guild ace policy in which he would have to marry a Dryad in order to be that ace. Then again, that was sort of different. Many of them were going to try to take advantage of the one that he knew fell for that tradition. That was not going to be a love life, that was simply one robbing from the other of power and money. What’s sad was that it was someone that Elyx knew in the past often, but then they drifted off. That was just simply another act to show how selfish Elyx was.

The boy was not having this though. The risk of everything being lost too great, he had to strike now. The boy pushed the cage forward, feeling a little bit sluggish as he did so. Once again he gave a push, once more, once more again. The cage then tilted to the side, in which the girl began to run to it to balance it, but it was too late. The cage had shattered to pieces of darkness, and from the inside, Elyx struck a blade through her forehead, just about finishing this battle. The brain had been struck, this was the enemy it seemed. The fireball that she had created slowly spun around to form the annoying yet fun Ignite once again. It was beautiful… Now where were the doors?

The girl got up from her grounded state, but not a single wound on her. A smile on her face, which never promised anything good. Elyx let out a few breaths, holding in as much of it as he could so it would not seem like he was tired from that battle. The girl took a few steps, then stopped when she felt like she had intimidated them with her existence. I am Tesserra. I promise that the world is the way it was when you first found it. I won't hurt Talonia again the way I did, you would know where to find me if I did. You put me through a good battle, maybe humanity does have some hope left. I promise to spare the humans until the end of your existence, from there, I am at free will to do what I want. Tesserra promised, half good and half bad. A neutral promise and threat. Until the end of his life? So he should probably keep living so that the Geomancer did not do anything else. That was when he realized what the girl was actually trying to do. Give him purpose in his life, give him a reason to live at all. That was probably a part of the reward as well, the feeling of purpose. Maybe she was not as bad as she made herself to be. That was her fault though, almost destroying the world as he knew it. And if she did ever try that stunt again, he knew exactly where the door would be. Once he finished his training with the new speed enhancements that he just recently obtained, he would be able to chase down this town and enter the door. Tessera knew that she could not beat him in a fight, in which she called it off. Once again, Elyx was not forced to kill anyone in the end, which was funny since that was what the game was supposed to end with. A death.

Elyx had to hug Delta as she was crying. On the other side, Tessera looked down onto the girl and smiled. You think I would do that to a little girl? Especially her, in which I saw potential. Did you seriously think I would make her suffer as a slave? I prefer a better title for her. Second in Command. Tessera said as she then knelt down onto her knee and patted Delta's head, which made her cry a little bit more, it was natural since she was a child. Elyx continued to hug her and pet her back to let her calm down. But you deserve a lot more of a life. Mr. Elyx and Ignite will take care of you. With that, the door revealed itself to the three of them, a nice little exit for them on their way out. Tension was still there, and trust was still being developed. This door would either make or break the trust.

The boy lifted Delta up from the current state that she was in. Before heading for the door, he wanted to comfort her the best he could. His knapsack had chocolates, maybe he could start off by giving her one of those. Then again, if he were to do that, that would require letting the little girl down onto the ground, the cost was not worth the final result. Instead, he just rocked her gently from side to side, comfortable movement to at least help her calm down. After a few moments of doing this, Elyx heard a yawn come from the young mage. She was tired after all that had happened, it was time to bring her back to her house. Ignite took the lead since Elyx had the child in his hands. In doing this, she was able to open the door while he was carrying the child. It was not easy to do tasks while handling a weight in his hands. The both of them left from the scene, the door was most certainly not a lie. Elyx and Ignite were back in Talonia once again, the roof. The world was not being shattered to pieces. When he looked to the side, he saw his reward for winning, Ignite Rosella, his partner back to his side once again. They were all back in the town that had the elements, except those elements were no longer there. In Ignites hands was a back of jewels, the reward maybe? Who was able to pay it to her was the question, and Elyx did not want to find out since it might lead them to trouble again. How Delta got into Talonia was not something that the boy wanted to find out. It has proven itself to be a dangerous place after all.

The three of them were now on the roof. The door behind them began to dissolve into pieces. It sort of resembles a powder attempting to mix with water. The door was unable to be used until the next time they come here, which was hopefully never since that would require coming to Talonia. Talonia, a town in which he avoids for good enough reasons. The group of them first had to find a way of getting down from their current location. To wall jump was one thing. Maybe they could jut simply jump? Elyx knew he could, but he didn't know if he could do it with a weight on his hands and two fully functioning legs. There had to be a latch on this roof somewhere, they could go in through there and disturb the shop, but at least get out safely. The boy began to look around for that latch. Ignite in the meaantime made her leap over the edge of the building.

The hatch opened, the shop inside empty. It was not that dark since there was sunlight coming from the hatch, giving them a little bit of sight. The both of the had to look for the exit, it was a rather big building. There was only so much light as well, the further from the hatch, the darker it would get. Navigating the shop like a maze, that was what Elyx was going to have to do. Then again, he did have an item for a situation like this. The boy placed Delta down, but put his left hand on her head so he knew that she would not run off out of fear. His right hand was shoved in his pocket, locking for a useful item that was able to cast about light. Once he felt a grip on it, he pulled out a white sphere from his pocket and held it high, the light shining around them, giving them a better view of where they were going. It was sort of light a light Lacrima, except this one can last forever. It was easy to navigate now that the both of them had light. Now to find the exit. The boy locked his eyes onto a wall, maybe if he could just push it down, the area may be exposed. A second later, he thought about the idea and how dumb it was, he was not prepared to pay for property damage after all, this could have cost a million jewels. The type of shop this was might be unconfirmed, if it were alcohol, that would be his house, items, possibly the guild vault going down to toilet. Such a terrible fate that would be if that were to happen. The both of them were going to have to find their way through without help at this rate, time to just play luck.

They were able to get out of the shop without destroying anything in the process, a clear plus as the fact. But the downside to this was how they were rather late. Ignite was standing out there with her arms crossed, her facial expression showing how she reacted to that. Elyx could not help it, he was not as destructive as she were, unlike her, he used common sense to get arund. The both of them had to get Delta hone now, back to Clover Town, where most of his friends were located anyways. Ignite decided to hold Delta once again, forcing the girl out of Elyxs hands and played around with the young mage. They were both like sisters, he would love to see them just hang around for one day, that would be amazing.

The group of them finally left Talonia and headed off for their next town, Clover Town, in which she was able to leave Delta back at her home. The mage in the meantime was showing off her mind magic, she said that it was the magic she had been born with and wants to master. That is awesome! I love to see other wind mages than me, it seems like there are not enough in this world, especially good ones. Elyx said as he then patted the blue haired child. she smiles a cat like smile as he did do, then Ignite had to add a little bit of fuel to the fire. The She Phoenix tilted her head to the side and looked over to Elyx, a sheepish smile on her face. When she spoke, she was speaking to Delta. Don't worry Delta, I'm sure because of you, that there would be a Wind mage in the world who can actually have hope in her future. Ignite remarked, teasing Elyx. The boy nudged her playfully to the side for that comment. The She Phoenix hopped to the side to gain balance, her face clearly showing that she thought that comment was worth the nudge. Delta laughed at the both of them for being a little bit weird, but being weird is fun. Especially when you are not being judged for it because it's around your friends. Elyx and Ignite always judged each other playfully, regardless of the fact that they would normally be mean comments. That was just the relationship that best friends had with each other, put them down and bring them back up again. In fact, Elyx was planning to teach her about the phrase, "Sticks and Stones may break your bones, but words may never hurt her." From there, he would whack her with a dictionary.

The group of them got to the edge of Clover Town, right where the friends Elyx made came from. He did not want to see them right now, this was normally the time they would be out on jobs, and he could not wait for them. The goal was to drop Delta back at the Orphanage and get away. Today had been a long day, yet none of it was unusual, which was rather sad. The world being in danger again? Psh, that was usual for Elyx now. The boy smiled to himself and chuckled at the reality of that. There was not much that could phase him anymore. Almost nothing, except for maybe the thought that Tesserra planted into his mind. Adresllia, if Tesserra was able to lock over the boy through his life, does that mean that she was right? Was Adrelissa still alive? Did he really leave her behind? If so... Where would she be now?

They returned Delta home, now they had to go home as well. Why did Black Rose have to be so far from the place where he had many of his friends residing? Well, on the plus side, he was able to get a little bit more of a workout. The chocolates would be reduced even further. He was like a bottomless pit because of how much he runs, burning all of that at. He could burn it while eating a chocolate bar in the process. This was no different, he did just that as he ran. Ignite in the meantime was running behind him, trying to grab the knapsack so that she would be able to gain a chocolate bar of her own, but naturally, Elyx was rejecting that offer for fun and ran away from her. This was to make sure that they got home in time rather than just simply walking and not getting enough sleep, "Resting" as they walked. Sleep was a more effective sort of sleep, and when one got tired of running, they tend to want to sleep anyways, so by doing this, he was winning regardless. The boy finally got to the forest that he and Ignite went through to get in and out of the Neutral grounds. This forest was the separation of sunlight and the cloudy area that he called his home. At least he was given plenty of credit amongst the bounty hunters, but that was about it. Still though, to be respected was a lot better than being a weak outcast. Being the weak outcast meant that everyone else looks down upon you, your magic power unable to catch up to them. That was how Elyx used to be, his kid-like and chocolate loving personality was the reason why he was looked down upon. Often asking for help, but now here he was, surpassing almost everyone he knew in magic power. He just worked that hard on his own with Ignite, if it were not for hard work, he would not even be here. This took almost the whole day, it was sunset, Elyx woke up at Sunrise. These jobs were getting a lot harder to handle now. But the rewards... They were also becoming a lot more grand.

The boy and the She Phoenix finally found their way in Black Rose and located their house easily. That was when it hit Elyx about his room, Ignite broke it down with a sledgehammer, or at the least the door. A groan escaped from his mouth as he pulled out his key and began to unlock the door. It was not going to be a restful night knowing that Ignite could now bother him. It was a good thing that the both of them decided to run towards the house rather than walking, they would still be in the Meadows if they did that. Now for Elyx, he was finally back home, and he could not wait to take a shower, eat his dinner, then go to sleep. This rough mission is offically successful, his first A rank job.
