Playing with Fire (Kiba/Katherine/Decay)

It was a warm pleasant day at Phoenix mountain, home to where the Eclipse soul guild was. There was little to no trouble today, just an Angel of Chaos relaxing near a natural made Hot Spring that over looked the guild. Selfish maybe yes, but she did enjoy a relaxing soak every now and again. She sighed as every muscle in her body soothed down and mellowed out. Meanwhile something was in the air and it was both deadly but beautiful. It echoed in ones soul as its melodic song that pierced the air. Katherine slowly put on the clothes that she brought with her as she tried to investigate what was the sound. Creeping out from her Hot Spring she approached the song that she heard and walked slowly towards the source. She wondered what it was, the song was so beautiful yet feral.

Eventually she reached to the peak of the mountain and looked around. The music stopped, there was nothing here so Katherine turned around to leave. It was then that there was a sudden explosion at the peak that was so strong that it flung Katherine from the top and hurling straight to the guild. The trajectory so rough that she could not use her wings to slow descent as she soared through the air like a rocket and towards the guilds window. It was then there was a crash and into the impact of the guilds library, but luckily Katherine was not too hurt. A certain table was fatally damaged though and would be missed dearly by the guild. Katherine looked at the librarian and told him, "I think the Phoenix of the Mountain has awakened. And it is very rude!" Katherine chuckled happily, it would be an honor to see such a creature better."

Kiba had done quite a bit of work in the library today, Polishing on of the oldest tables that had not been destroyed in one of Katherine destruction spree. HE was now working on the organization again, the books were still out of sorts from her last spree. Kiba intended to rectify that today, he was about finished when he heard a crashing noise. Kiba let out a sigh and moved to the area the noise came from only to find Katherine laying on the remains of the table he had cleaned the earlier. Honestly he was not surprised, he figured she would get around to destroying it eventually. 

 "I think the Phoenix of the Mountain has awakened. And it is very rude!" Katherine chuckled happily, it would be an honor to see such a creature better." she said to him.


"Seriously Katherine..." Kiba sighed, "The phoenix..." Kiba sighed again, "and let me guess you want to go punch it right?" Kiba shook his head a little and motioned for her to follow. "your cleaning that up you know." as he moved to the exit, Kiba stopped for a second thinking about the Phoenix. He smile a little and activated his robes, they started to change to a deep blood red color, this would cause him to be able to resist Fire better. 


Kiba exited guild hall then the city, making sure he was completely ready for this. He did his usual stretches as well as a few practices a few strikes. Kiba wanted this to be at least a little fun so he would at least try to glean some knowledge from it. Kiba looked at the mountain top the sky about it looked like it was dawn, shades of purples and reds, causing the sky to be a great picture of glory. "Almost expecting some ang..." he stop as he though of his company, smiling and shaking his head as he did. "Yeah right."

Deniel whistled to himself a very happy tune as he, too, was inside of the library. He didn't know what Kiba was doing, but he was doing his own thing. The last place a a person would expect him to be was the library, but he was here for his own important and personal business. He had searched through a lot of books, and they were all on the very same thing. He was reading about angels, demons, and everything that fit into that category. Whether it was fictional stories about them, a person claiming they've seen them, or some information about them, Deniel read every last word. Despite everything he came across, though, he never found any information that he really wanted or needed. Everything seemed either untrue, or he already knew. Never once did he find anything about an offspring of the two races either. Deniel sighed and put the books back where they were. "Well, that's annoying." Just as he put the last book back in its place, he was getting prepared to leave until Katherine came down crashing on to a table. Deniel didn't know what to say or think. He blinked a few times and remained still. All he could really gather from the insane angel was the Phoenix on top of the mountain woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Deniel shrugged it off and started to head back to his room. He would have missed out on probably one of the best times of his life if he didn't stop for a second to think.

"Wait a second...Phoenix." Deniel froze in his tracks. A phoenix was a very large and powerful creature. And if it was angry, then that must have meant it was in the mood to fight. Deniel's signature began to crawl on to his face. Instead of going to his room, he started to exit the guild. The day was looking to be pretty boring until this opportunity arrived. Kiba and Katherine seemed to share his interest, but that wasn't going to stop him. "Well, then I guess it needs a good ass-kicking."

"No dear, I would like to take the bird over to the Eclipse Soul for some tea. However it seems more like you will be doing the punching dear. I would be honored to talk or fight the Phoenix, both would prove to be enlightening experience. However first things first..."

Katherine stood up from where she was, a broken wreckage of the table laid underneath her. Katherine sighed as she started to pick up all the pieces and put them all to the side so nobody would trip over them. She then proceeded to grab books on the subject of the Phoenix, in fact there was many books on that Mythical creature. However she was reading the basic facts of what was needed to fight the creature. It was a bird that was dangerous with not only it's Holy Fire, but song and Strength. This was going to be one of the toughest fights the Angel would have to do in the current body that she is in.

Katherine stated, "I would like to know what I am fighting first before attempting to defeat it. We need to be careful though, this creature can self-ressurect, give an ear piercing song, uses Holy Fire, has the strength to lift boulders... I like these odds! Let's do it!"

Katherine placed the book away carefully and proceeded to walk out the window. She jumped out the window and landed on her feet. Bending her knees to soften the impact she proceeded to walk towards the place where she got blown away. She had a merry hum in her tune as she waited for Kiba and proceeded to walk with him.

"I still owe you money for that window. And now the table. Chaos lately has been having a sense of humor towards your library!"

Kiba looked at Katherine as she spoke, he frowned as she spoke of Chao and his library. "Shut it Katherine." he said bluntly. *Hey Kiba can i have the body for the day?" Kiki asked hoping to get a crack at the Phoenix. Kiba rolled his eyes and looked at Katherine. "Kiki wants to fight the Phoenix. Do you mind?" Kiba didn't really care what she said Kiki had asked nicely, which was rare, so he would oblige. He looked around for a source of cold water and found a small iced over pond to the right of the path. Kiba walked over and tapped the surface with his fist, causing the ice to crack. After clearing the ice away with a few scoops, then steps in.

The plunge was Ice cold and was expected, Kiki came up sputtering. "Kiba you bastard!" she shouts as she pulls herself out of the ice cold water. Kiba chuckles in her head, *Perhaps you should be more specific about how and where.* Kiki pulls back her long hair. *you a bastard." She snaps back, Kiba simply chuckles again. Kiki turns to Katherine. "I'll be right back i need a pair of panties and a bra... otherwise this fight will be hell." Kiki runs off to Their room as fast as she can, bursting through the door, moving to the dresser and pulling out a pair of black lace underwear. *Can't believe you spent jewels on the crap.* Kiki pays him no heed as she undresses, taking off the wet clothing, then  puts them one followed by a matching Bra the then changes the robes element to ice causing them to dry instantly. After its dry she redresses and runs to catch up with Katherine. The second she sees Katherine she runs up and Hugs her, "hello again my daughter, sorry i have been gone so long."

After making up his mind that he was going to fight the creature, Deniel started to head towards his room. There was still one important thing that he needed before he could fight the phoenix. He made his way to the Guild Hall, and found the wall that lead to his room. He walked right through it, and ran down the narrow and shady path lit up by torches. This twisted path leading down lead all the way to the base of Phoenix Mountains, where his room was. Upon reaching the bottom, he ran into the skull-shaped room. He walked to his bed, on the upper part of the skull. It was a simple wooden bed with black sheets, and could only fit one person. On top of this bed was Deniel's most prized possession: Nidhogg. The black katana was sheathed inside of its scabbard, and had snoring sounds coming from it. Deniel yanked the sword from the bed and shook it. "Nidhogg! Wake up!" The snoring suddenly stopped as Deniel shook the blade. From out of it came an echoing and divine voice. "H-Huh-What!? What the Hell do you want, Deniel? I was having a nice dream!" Now that Deniel woke his blade up and got its attention, he held it in his left hand. He headed to the path on the other side of the skull. One lead from the guild hall to his room, while the other one lead from his room to the base of Phoenix Mountains. "We're hunting down a phoenix!" Deniel ran down the path that lead to the base of phoenix mountains. His sword was no longer upset in any way. It was just as excited as he was.

Deniel reached outside, and he looked around to see if he could find Katherine and....someone. After a bit of searching, he found the two. For the first time, he glanced up on top of the mountains while standing next to them. He saw the bright glow and radiance the phoenix gave off with its fire. Deniel whistled and crossed his arms. That thing was massive, and powerful too. He glanced to Katherine and the other person. He didn't know who she was, and he didn't know where Kiba went. Either way, he didn't care. He was just waiting on them to make the first move so he could follow up with them.

Katherine started to chuckle as she watched Kiba transform into Kiki... Or mother as the lady liked to call herself. There would be time to wait patiently for mother to change clothing and put on a proper bra and underwear. They were kind of flat, but Katherine kept that to herself. Honestly it was better that way. At least Kiki did not have to worry about 2 melons smacking herself across the face and the back problems that usually came with Katherine's chest size. Even angels had faults in that regard, but the Celestial beings had to keep an aesthetically pleasing appearance for mortals.

Katherine was surprised as she was hugged by mother. The story behind it was complicated, but the chaos that it fed and the fun that came with it more than made up for the awkwardness. It did not even matter that Katherine was much older, she was adopted. Katherine was trying to avoid however the perils of Kiki chop and the outcome from it. Anything to keep her from being a child again. She hugged her mother with as much love that she could give, but did not help to look at the edge of her clothes and caught an eye at her black laced bra. Her eyes opened and her mouth moved faster than her mind at the next comment.

"Didn't think my mother had good tastes in brassieres. I figured you never needed them considering your size.."

It was then that she realized what she just said and tried to back away and escape. If Kiki tried, Katherine would be trapped and unable to escape whatever punishment or assault Kiki had planned for Katherine. She did not want it to happen, but fate looked like it would be inevitable. Katherine eyes were scared and pleaded for Kiki not to do it.

"Didn't think my mother had good tastes in brassieres. I figured you never needed them considering your size.." was the first words out of Katherine mouth. Katherine immediately started backing up, Kiki didn't give her the chance to run, bringing her karate chop down on her head. It was not what she meant to do it just happened as she got irked quickly. When she realized what she had done it was to late, she had used that accidental technique on Katherine. She left Katherine standing as a little girl with clothing to big for her, the hung low the ground.


"Damn it... sorry." Kiki immediately apologized for what she had done. *Smooth you idiot.* Kiba commented. "SHUT IT KIBA!" She snapped at him. Kiba simply chuckled at Kiki. "I'm so sorry Katherine, but you should not make those kind of comments about a woman breasts." She smiled weakly as she spoke. *You not even a real woman Kiki.* Kiba state dully. Kiba was not quite sure if his comment was true or not but he knew that Kiki was also him and yet not him. The way she had come to be honestly she could be what he would be if he was born a girl. "Shut up Kiba." She was also unsure of what the truth was, but for now she was a woman. Kiba sensed this and gave up, she felt his resignation in the matter. 


"If you have some clothing that will fit i suggest you get it i don't think that Phoenix will be there very long." she motioned to the mountain. "I think you will have to fight like that." She tapped her fist into the palm of her other hand. "don't worry ill keep you safe." She smiled genuinely this time, ready for a fight. She would help Katherine find new clothing then the would return to the task at hand.

"What the Hell...?" Deniel backed away slowly from Katherine and the other woman that was there. They seemed wrapped in their own world, and he was going to leave them that way. He found a good spot next to a tree a couple of feet away. He leaned against the tree and watched what was going on, which he was completely confused about. Katherine and the woman seemed pretty wrapped up in what they were doing, so all he did was sit down and watch. From what Deniel understood, some woman, who was apparantly Katherine's mother, karate chopped her and...turned Katherine to a little girl? And she was stuck that way? Nidhogg. What the Hell just happened? Deniel tilted his head to the side, and was very blunt about what he said to Nidhogg. He didn't say it out loud, since he didn't need to. If they wanted to, Deniel and Nidhogg could speak to each other with their minds. I don't know, Deniel....I don't know. Deniel looked back up at the Phoenix on top of the mountains. Surely that would be something more entertaining to see that what was in front of him. He started to think about what exactly got it so pissed off, and the best Form he should fight it in. It used fire, which meant his Black Devil Take Over could be the wiser choice. While in it, his scales were resistant to fire. Something was different about that fire, though.

It didn't seem normal. It glittered, almost as if it were holy. Deniel narrowed its eyes at the phoenix on top of the mountain from where he was sitting. He wasn't too sure about it. If he couldn't decide now, then that meant he would have to wait until he got up on the mountain and fought the phoenix itself before he decided on which Take Over would be best in the situation. With that out of his mind, he simply whistled to himself as he waited for his time to get up and do something.

It was too late, Katherine felt the ultimate power that could slay Angels of Chaos in a single strike or make them completely helpless 9 year old girl. It came in one giant chop that sent Chi energies through her entire body and shrunk the girl down Making her younger, faster and weaker. Katherine sighed as all her clothes were now officially too big for Katherine. It fell completely off her in ways that caused her to drag herself, but otherwise they were just too big for her. So Katherine was quickly running back in and putting on a dress that would fit her properly. Preferably with help from her mother. Katherine was quickly changing out of her clothes and put her tight fitting child clothing. Happy to be wearing something comfortable, Katherine ran outside with a smile on her face and jumped on Kikis back expecting a piggyback ride. Katherine was happy to be alive and well and thus happy to see mother. She missed the smell of a mother's soft skin and the sense of security an embrace gives. Katherine felt loved and secured for once and thus would be happy to simply be around Kiki. She wanted some womanly advice after all...

"Mother there is a girl that I met that our races are Celestially opposites of one another. I am a Dark Angel and she is a demon. As an opinion of a mother and a human, do you think this union is correct? Even if the gods ostracize such a union? I don't know what to think anymore. Spending time as a human opened my eyes to possible other points of view and things are not as black and white as before..."

This was obviously leaving poor little Katherine very confused with her point of views towards life and her role as an angel. Did she have to live forever as an assassin of the Gods or was there something more she wanted?

"Rock, Paper, Scissors!"
"Rock, Paper, Scissors!"

Deniel got bored of waiting around so long, so he decided to sit around with Nidhogg in his world. Deniel was no longer where he was, sitting against a tree. In fact, all that was there was the sword that he left behind. Because right now, he was inside of its world. It was complete blackness, save for the small platform that went with Nidhogg wherever it went. This platform carried the only light in the world. Nidhogg, in the meantime, was a dragon. Pure and simple. It was a dragon forged into a sword, and carried the form of a dragon inside of its world. And Deniel was playing a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors with it right now. Once they called out the three words, they each held out their hands. Deniel had rock, while Nidhogg had paper. Nidhogg was much larger than Deniel. Deniel was six feet tall, and Nidhogg was ten feet. Nidhogg was standing on all four of his feet, though. He was a serpent shaped, dragon, and even while he was on all fours, he still towered over Deniel four feet. If he got up on his hind legs, he would probably tower him by over forty. Nidhogg had four clawed hands and feet, each complete with three fingered claws. It also had two mighty wings on its back, and its black scaled body was covered in red markings.

"Goddamnit!" The two of them went another round. This time, Nidhogg had paper and Deniel had rock. "Shit!" Deniel and Nidhogg went round after round, winning back and fourth. Sometimes one of them won several rounds in a row, but the two of them eventually tied with each other after passing each other up. They were so caught up in their game that Deniel didn't know what was going on outside.

Katherine listened to the wise words of Kiki and simply jumped off the back of the girl. This was sad, because what Katherine didn't say was that Karina has disappeared for a while and may not come back. Katherine sighed, it was a good partnership. The issue remained though, this world has evolved to become beyond the need of the gods. For it to be a good or bad thing was yet to be determined, but this world needed something more concrete. It needed actual direct intervention as opposed to the typical wait and see.

"I find it funny though that I am beginning to agree with you... This visit has shown me many things and I can't leave the world like this. I can't simply wait and see things and let the people that helped me down. I need to do something, for the Gods are not giving the right answers anymore..."

This was becoming a major turning point for Katherine's life. Was it worth serving the gods or herself? It mattered not, but it was something that could wait as she walked up the steps behind Kiki. It was then that she saw a figure and shuddered. Looking up to Kiki she simply said, "Mom there's a crazy man that's playing Rock, Paper and Scissors with himself. He is also dressed in black and looks like he might be able to write bad poetry!" She was of course looking at Deniel, but did not see the sword. Hence it looked like he was playing with himself. Katherine was crazy, but she did not suffer from schizophrenia.... yet. Still Katherine looked at Deniel and tried to remember something that she was meant to do when she saw him again. But du to her child form had completely forgot. So with a smile she waved at the man that slapped her granddaughter in the face.

"um Katherine... perhaps we should worry about the big bird first." she smile gently at the girl but turned to look at what she was talking about. She saw Daniel Decayuss one of the other aces in the guild. she smiled he could be of use if this devolved into a fight. "DANIEL!" she yelled at him to get his attention. She didn't get to say anything else as a gust of wind nearly took her from her feet. 

"So little one why are you here?" the voice came from the sky, or more to the point the phoenix that just showed up in it. "Are you here for wisdom? or to challenge me to combat?" 

Kiki looked up at the bird, looking into its large eyes. "uh uh..." she suddenly didn't know how to answer the bird. Here she was standing in front of a legend and had no idea what to say. "Katherine... why are we hear again?" as she asked it came to her mind. "We are here for combat." she drops into a combat stance. "Daniel if your going to join us now would be the time to do it." she called down to him not really caring if he joined them or not. She was going to fight this creature, she was going to do it all out with out hesitation. she waited for the others to catch up but would not wait for more than a few minutes. "I am Kiki Yukiko of Eclipse Soul."

"You humans amuse me." the bird responded. "I will wait for your companions to be ready." the bird landed and folded up its wings. "I have nothing but time mortal."

"well i don't have forever so lets not wait to long." Kiki simply keeled down and closed her eye. She was showing unusual restraint, which was out of character for her.

"I win!"
"No you don't!"
"Why not?"
"You can't do that!"
"Says who?"
"Says me, you asshole."
"Why should I listen to you?"

The entire way up Deniel was arguing with his sword over who won the last round. "I used rock, and you used paper! I win!"

"Paper beats rock, you moron!"
"Since when did they change the rules? I think a rock can crush a paper easily!"

After Deniel said that, both of them were yelling at each other at the same time so much that neither of them could really be heard. In fact, they couldn't hear themselves. All of this happened while he was on his way up to the phoenix behind Katherine and Kiki. After Deniel finally arrived at the very top, he started to shout louder over his sword. "ALRIGHT! SHUT UP! WE'LL FINISH THIS LATER!" Now that that was taken care of, Deniel cleared his throat and looked up at the Phoenix. It was a massive fiery bird, and it almost hurt his eyes just to look at it. He looked down between Katherine, Kiki, and then back up at the phoenix. He didn't say anything at all. He just stared for a little longer, and then opened his mouth as if he was going to say something. Instead of words coming out, though, a burp came out instead. "Whew! I've been holdin' that one in for a long time! Oh, by the way, we're gonna' kick your ass." Deniel's humor was finally over, and now he was starting to get a tad bit serious. He readied himself for combat by using one of his Take Overs. His entire body was enveloped by a glowing blue and sparkling energy, almost like a bubble-wrap since a person could still see him inside.

Then this energy blew off of his body from his feet all the way up to his head. In place of it was shining white plated armor with golden trimmings. It covered his entire body, save for his biceps. His black hair changed to a white tint, and his eyes turned sky-blue. The black katana that he carried with him split itself in half, and formed into two white katanas instead. There were two swords, but only one of them had the mind of Nidhogg. On Deniel's back were two VERY large white feathered wings, stretched out far. Now he was ready to finally do something and stop messing around.

Spells Used:

Kathrine giggled at the antics of the 2, it was humorous to the young girl to see the  man arguing with the sword on his back. Was it a talking the sword on his back like if it was his girlfriend? This completely made Katherine's dream as she followed the 2 people up the mountain as it got steeper and steeper till the point she needed to use her wings to hover over terrain before putting them away. She was limiting her use of wings to conserve energy for the birdy.

"So little one why are you here?" the voice came from the sky, or more to the point the phoenix that just showed up in it. "Are you here for wisdom? or to challenge me to combat?"

Katherine looked at the bird as a the gigantic majestic bird flew overhead and demanded what they want. Katherine though thoughtfully for a bit before yelling, "I want to play!" And at that moment Katherine jumped on the bird and on top giggling like a giddy young girl that just got a new pet. For a brief moment it actually appeared that the Phoenix was confused which would be a first for a very long time. But Katherine hugged the creature till Katherine felt warm. This was so pleasant that Katherine felt like falling asleep until Kat noticed Deniel was transforming into an angel. This caused Katherine to pout slightly, of course the Nephalem could take that form. It was almost an insult to her kind if it were not for the fact that it was in his blood too. Still Kat just wanted to nap on top of the bird and be in heaven. So as she was nearly falling asleep while hugging the hell out of it, she asked a question to her mother. Her eyes drooping as her body nearly fell asleep in comfort.

"Can I keep it? Please Mommy?"

'Normal Dice' :

"No Katherine, the guild can not afford to feed something this big." Kiki responded. "Oh and we are here to fight." Kiki simply waited for the bird to take flight, poor Katherine would get taken for a ride but should would probably enjoy it. The bird spread its wings, which was good enough, Kiki used illusion break followed by a fates turn, which did not except deal damage. Kiki cursed as the Phoenix hit her with its wing, sending her flying to the ground. She flipped herself and landed, her legs absorbing the little bit of shock their was. "well damn that was lame." she commented to herself. 

*yes it was. you should try harder.* Kiba interjected, his tone snide. 

"Like you could do better." Kiki snapped back. "Right now your just a figment of my mind." 

*Pay attention!" Kiba warned. it was to late as the phoenix got her with its talons

"Damn it! Stop Talking Kiba." She snapped as she recovered from the hit. She watched as the phoenix rose from the ground, kicking up large amounts of debris. "well great now what." the phoenix rose up into the air, it wing beats giving off waves of fire(S rank push-back). Kiki struggled to keep her balance but eventually failed and was thrown back. She was thrown to the side of the mountain where she was forced to wait for the wind to cease. After it did she pulled herself up, "Damn it this is going to be a pain in the ass." she looked around for her ally's and upon spotting Katherine she called out. "Katherine i need lightning!" She ran forward preparing to take in what ever element came at her weather it was fire, wind or lightning, she didn't care she would use it to her advantage.

Deniel didn't actually start out attacking the Phoenix. Although in his Take Over form and seemingly ready to fight, he really wasn't. He stood there, tall and proud with his wings stretched out. He held both of his sheathed blades by their hilts, and had both of them on to the ground. He watched Kiki try to attack the phoenix, but her attack didn't seem to go as she wanted. And then she looked up at Katherine on the phoenix. She definitely had the mind of a nine-year-old right now. Deniel still make a move despite having a perfect opportunity to do so. Deniel saw that opportunity coming when the Phoenix lifted itself off of the ground. Perfect! He put both of his blades at his sides on his waist, and his armor enveloped them to hold them still. Then he drew each katana from its scabbard, but instead of attacking, he thrust them both into the ground and held on tight. The Phoenix enveloped itself in its large wingspan, and then let loose. As its wings came out, a torrent of fire and wind was unleashed all around them. Kiki was knocked off of the mountain, so much for her. Deniel's blades helped him keep his balance on the mountain, and he let the wave of fire hit him. It seared on to his armor, but wasn't enough to burn straight through it. Some parts of it was a bit black, but that was about it. Deniel let himself get burned, but to be honest, he was expecting much more than what had hit him.

The knockback seemed to be the bigger bulk of that attack, and not the fire. The fire kind of hurt, but Deniel wanted more. Still, that seemed to be all he was going to get right now, and he would have to use it. The reason why he wanted himself to get hit was because him getting weaker meant he got faster, and getting faster could mean...a lot of things. "Well, that's a letdown." Deniel drew both of his swords from the ground and cracked his neck. He could feel a bit of speed build up in his body, but it was still very disappointing to see just how much of it came out of that huge attack. "Kat! Gimme' a buff! I'm going to take this thing out in a couple of shots!"

Spells Used:

Well that was the end of the confusion for sure as the Phoenix flew up in the air and sent Katherine flying to what would have been off the side of the mountain if it weren't for the fact that she could expand a pair of wings to catch herself in mid flight. This did not amuse the 9 year old mindset of Kathrine as not only did the pet attack her but also attacked mommy and black dressing bad poetry writing emo boy turned angel. So what came next would almost be tantamount to a temper tantrum as she balled her fist and caused it to rain. The storm clouds darkening as she placed a protective sigil on Decay as well as a very minor speed buff. He didn't say please and thus bad manners shouldn't be too rewarded. However Deniel would notice that not only the air resistance removed from his surrounding body, but also the fact that a ripple of chaos changed him. Whther it made him stronger or not remained to be seen however...

Katherine's dark cloud started to rain which would help the group in resisting fire in theory, but at risk of footing. It mattered little to Katherine as Katherine closed her fist. A bolt of lightning struck the Phoenix and Kiba who would most likely catch the darn thing. Either way Katherine grinned slightly as she pulled out her blade Maelstromic Retribution and waited for the 2 grown up leave an opening. If she was not going to have her as a pet then it would become her Fioran Fried Phoenix by the days end! Preferably if it was cooked by mother. Either way this Phoenix could expect pain in a few seconds.

'Lineage Dice' :

Kiki didn't pay attention to anything other then the incoming lightning, Kiki used Elemental Turn, absorbing the lightning. Anyone watching would see the a aura of lightning crackling around Kiki, and the fact the she was running a the peak of human speeds. As she ran she tapped her clothing, "Fire." her clothing started turning a deep shade of crimson, there was still white going but the red was spreading like blood on a wedding dress. As she moved she worked up herself up into using Nine Tails, She gained that traits of a fox and again her movement speed jumped again, at this point she was going beyond 30 mph. She jumped at a pillar and ran up the it for a second then push off it. She spun in mid air and grabbed onto it wing as it flapped. As the wing rose again to give it more altitude Kiki used the motion to jump higher up on the bird, going from its wing to its neck. She created a ball of chi in one hand, the other holding onto the Phoenix, then slammed it into the birds neck. The ball burst into a Smoke cloud, anyone other then kiki caught in the could would be sadly affected by it. 

"BRING IT YOU OVERSTUFFED BIRD!" The Nine Tails form was showing now, Kiki was volatile to begin with but this was even worse. She then decided she was going to bite the bird tearing free a small chunk of flesh, "TASTES LIKE CHICKEN!" she then balls her hand and hits the bird with. there was no damage but a small flash of light, the effects would seal the birds magic for a while. As she hit it she used the force of her own blow to return to the creatures wing. she used her claws to grip on the wing, she wanted to keep it as close as possible, to keep it withing the range of her aura.

"Whatever...." Deniel felt the minor buffs affect him, but it would be in a great way. His White Angel form by default gave him 250%, the small attack by the Phoenix gave him another 20, which meant 270. And then, Katherine gave him probably one of the smallest boosts ever. Still, it was just enough to get his speed all the way to 300, which meant it was tripled. However, Deniel couldn't simply go all out in one burst. He needed to charge his speed up. So while Kiki was indirectly helping him by distracting the phoenix, he got in a starting position. He held both of his blades on each side, each of them behind him, and leaned forward on his right foot. He crouched his body down, and spread his wings out wide. Out of his wings rushed Deniel's Holy Energy, like fire coming out of an engine. He was pretty much revving himself up, like his wings were an engine, and they were going into overdrive. Once Deniel was ready to go, he looked up at the phoenix with his blue eyes glowing. "You're going down!" Deniel pushed himself off of the ground, and took off literally like a rocket straight into the fire of the phoenix. And less than a second later, he was already out on the other side. He was no longer crouched down, but instead he was standing up straight with both of his blades at his sides.

(REWIND)

As Deniel went towards the phoenix, he pulled both of his blades on the opposite sides of his body over his chest, and used one of his spells, Angel Burst. This caused both of his blades to deal double of the damage in addition to his doubled strength. This opened him up to the phoenix, while going through, Deniel slashed all around his body, almost seeming to be aimless. He cut in every direction around himself, but everywhere he hit, no damage seemed to be done. His blades danced around his body at blinding speeds, and never ceased to move for even the smallest of sections. Every time they gave one cut, Deniel used that motion to flow into another one. And once he reached the other side of the phoenix, he did the exact same thing he did earlier, except without the spell, and went out the other side.

(NORMAL)

Deniel had gotten about ten hits in on the Phoenix, which should have been plenty enough to kill it. He saw the phoenix weak, and then the unexpected happened. Its wounds started to heal itself almost instantly, and after that happened, a huge wave of fire hit the whole place like...like fire. Deniel shielded his face with his hands and wings, but the fire burned straight through both of them, and hit his skin. Deniel...honestly....was let down. In fact, this attack hurt much less than the first one did. He moved his hand away from his face, and looked down at it. He started to check out his entire body to see if he was okay. And surprisingly, he was. The giant burst must have had its power cut down by something, because there was hardly a scratch on him. His armor was still glowing white, and his wings were in near-perfect condition. Deniel could feel that it did SOMETHING to him, but it didn't really show. With a shrug, he took his blades out of his scabbards once again and pointed one of them at the phoenix. "I think I'm gonna' have to take you down a couple o' notches."

Katherine giggled as she watched Deniel have his face blown up after making shishkebob out of them. Mom was still her favorite though, because she was tied to her. Chaos was everywhere and it made the child excited which was at least better than adult Katherine getting drunk. Not much better, but at least it was more controlled. Katherine waited quietly until it was her turn, brushing aside the miasma of holy fire with her hand. Then she dived in sword ready and flashed over there in rainbow colors. Diving down in a Rainbow step she made a deep cut at the creatures throat while it was about to sing saying, "I can't have you singing! It's too late in the morning for that!" Katherine then used the ring in her finger to manipulate fate to zap the bird again to keep the animal slowed down. She was enjoying this, but to make sure Katherine placed a storm barrier by touching the 2. This would protect mommy's fun time!

This was when she started to feel something was wrong. Very wrong. She placed the barrier to protect them, but there was just something wrong with hurting this creature. Why were they fighting it? What was wrong with her emotions? She stopped for a second as she grabbed her head in pain, attempting to fight off the feeling that she had. However this was more than enough time for the Phoenix to slap the angel with its wings and into a rock, cratering the stone under the pressure of her body. Katherine then coughed up the blood for manipulating fate to protect Kiki. She wasn't feeling to well for some odd reason and it wasn't Kiki's chi. There was something else that was going on with all of this...
