Spy Criminal Watch!

The job was simple, spy on the cloaked man to get some dirt on him then report it to the contact. Axel wasn't sure how this would go down, whether he will be able to do it quietly or engage the target. Not getting caught was a priority but if the criminal is caught in the act then maybe he would have to be confronted. Axel rested upon a rooftop at the center of town, waiting for the target to appear. His heart thumped since this is his first solo job, meaning he has nobody to fall back on. After about 10 minutes the cloaked man walked into Axel's view. There was no doubt that this guy looked suspicious. He was covered in a black cloak that hid his entire upper body and he walked slowly through Oak Town. Axel wanted to get a look at his face before he reported anything, so he moved slowly between rooftops behind him. People passed the cloak man giving him looks and of course they would, a man hiding his identity is never considered normal in a public place. They were all either thinking he was about to commit a murder, or that he was going to begin a robbery.

After about 3 minutes the man took a right turn into an alley across the street form Axel. The easiest solution for him was to just use his teleportation ability to get to the other rooftops. In an instant Axel stepped from one rooftop to the one across the street. He looked down the side of the building to see the cloaked man exit out of the alley and move left. Axel jumped from his current position to the building that ran alongside the cloaked man's route. As he moved quietly along the edge of the roof the man decided to quickly dip his right hand into the pocket of an unsuspecting civilian. "Got you" Axel whispered under his breath. There was no doubt in Axel's mind that this man was responsible for the contact's missing jewel. All that had to be done know was tail this guy until he arrives at an area where he can be cornered and captured. Axel was full of excitement because his first solo mission had been going well so far. This has been his longest amount of time during a mission not getting screwed up or being distracted. The cloaked man began walking away and close behind Axel followed.

The cloaked man reached what seemed to be his final destination. He entered a small building along the hillside. Axel made his way down off the rooftops and proceeded towards the building. As he got closer he devised a plan to take the cloaked man in quietly without making a scene. "Oh this is going to be good" he thought to himself. Finally he reached the door and opened it intensely. There in front of him was the cloaked man exchanging the jewels for potions of different colors and sizes. "Using other people's money to buy yourself cheap concoctions that'll give you a high?" Axel said with his arms crossed trying to seem threatening. The cloaked man looked back at Axel and grinned. He raised his hands, chuckling as he did so. "I suppose you've caught me" he announced. In mere moments his hands began to emit a green light. "Huh?" Axel was now unsure of his supposed advantage. Bursts of energy shot from the cloaked man's hands towards Axel. Each missed but while Axel was distracted the man had fled out the back door. Soon Axel followed behind him at high speed. He wasn't going to let this job end in failure.

The man was now in the back garden of the magic shop where all the herbs are grown for the potions. At the end of the garden there is a fence that keeps people from falling off the cliff down to the buildings bellow. Axel was in hot pursuit of the cloaked man who continued to send green shots of hot energy in Axle's direction, but missed tremendously each time. "You're kind of bad at this!" Axel yelled at the running man. "That's what you think!" he laughed. The man made a jump right off the edge of the garden onto the rooftop about 10 feet down. "He's crazy!" is all Axel could think. Instantly he jumped down to follow the man before all hope of success was lost. Axel did not want to hurt the man so he restrained himself from firing back but instead decided it would be best to just keep the chase going until he either gets tired or gets cornered. With that in mind Axel had to jump each gap between roofs that the cloaked man did otherwise he'd lose sight of him quickly. After a few more building had been jumped the man finally lowered the playing ground to the streets.
