Mephisto is rather laidback and relaxed in personality, although at times he's also very prideful and can be very vocal about his 'greatness'. His goals are simply to see something interesting. He follows Hiro around because he believes that Hiro will make something interesting happen. He has an eternity to watch so sticking around one person for a while never hurts.

Mephisto has an incredible knowledge of history and demons and is easily a better source of information than the encyclopedia.

Abilities:
Despite Mephisto's incredible lack of combat ability, he is immortal and never dies. Although useless in combat and doesn't care about the lives of others.
