Job: Haunted! [Private/Daichi]

"Ghosts, meh..!?" Daichi thought to himself as he was walking through the abandoned streets of Oak Town. It felt quite suspicious that he didn't confront any pathetic, miserable human being on any of the streets. He was in a bad mood today so he wanted to cause some mayhem on the way to complete a job, slicing some people's throats or perhaps slowly cutting the main vena cava open. He had a lot of horrid, dreadful ideas on that day so he wasn't particularly bothered with fooling around as he loved to do.

He got agitated and began ardently playing with his blade, drawing it out a bit and the sliding it back in. In-and-out, in-and-out...
His lust for blood was catching up with him as it almost reached his mind and caused Daichi to lose control of himself. Loss of control would turn out as a chaos on one of the streets as Daichi would murder anyone who would be breathing. To relax his lust and addiction for blood-spilling events he quickly turned down one of the side-streets and began rushing through the darkness with increased movement speed.

He knew that he couldn't escape from his desire that would fulfill his hunger, even by running faster in the darkness. The thirst was reaching for him even faster in the darkness, causing him to begin seeing a bit blurry. Daichi scratched his eyes, hoping that the haze will go away but it didn't, he knew it wouldn't. It just got worse. His rampant right hand, drew out the chaotic sword and began slashing the walls of the houses, leaving a trail of deep cracks behind Daichi.

"No-o, I-I..can't let it..happen.." Daichi began resisting the evil inside him as he knew that if he gave up then he would kill somebody again - just like that time. Meaning that he won't be able to feel the adrenaline rushing in his blood and experience that state of excitement. He started feeling drained, leaning against the wall of the house, crawling towards the sunlight in front of him.

Black. His mind went completely blank. It was like he was stuck in a dark room, not able of moving and his words didn't make a sound. Speechles.
Majestic, malevolent eyes filled with dark flame revealed in Daichi's eyes as he quickly stood up and said: "Okay-, let's get these ghosts...and a few humans along with them!", as am abhorrent grin appeared on his face.

He began walking towards the house of the client, number 667. He firmly knocked on the door a few times but there was no response. The dark side of Daichi hated to wait or leave other waiting so he simply booted the door open, causing it to come off the hinges and fall on the ground. Immediately a man ran out of a room, covered in a blanket, shouting in fear: "Who the hell are you?!"

Daichi's reply was short and sharp: "Where are the ghosts?"

Once in an evil state, Daichi becomes extremely careless and negligent towards his foes as well as comrades. He wouldn't care if he would hurt him comrade in a battle, even if it was by accident, although he still wouldn't feel any guilt. Daichi would actually kill a friend if that would feed off his thirst or if that what would be needed in order for him to get what he wants. It was all about him, and only him.

Nothing mattered to Daichi whilst he was under the influence of the darkness, causing havoc improvident of what the true Daichi will have to carry on living with.

Sre, the hopeless man would barely spit the right words out as fear took over his body, paralyzing him: "666, Skipton Street." Daichi was metaphorically killing the forlorn, anemic man just with his look, whilst the man was not capable of resisting the dark magic or even looking away from the eyes of the devil.

Daichi turned around and walked out in silence, not saying a single word to the freaked out guy. A trace of darkness was left in the man's house as he quickly tried to lift up the door and place it back onto the hinges, but he was too fragile to do so.

The dark side of Daichi began slithering through the streets, looking for a sign stating "Skipton Street" somewhere. "This is taking too much time, I want to kill already!!", a rigid, poisonous voice protracted in his mind. As each second went by Daichi felt more and more capable of resisting the darkness inside his body.

After about ten minutes of lurking through the empty streets of Oak Town, he finally found the right street, his only concern now becoming - to find the house. He walked down the street and stopped at a rusty, ancient wooden house with a metal plate showing the number "666" hanging on one end.

He didn't bother to try and turn the door knob as it was dusty, occupied by a cobweb and a spider who was clueless of what it is about to experience. Without any hesitation he kicked the door open, revealing the absolute darkness inside the house and allowing a ray of illuminating sunshine enter the house.

Daichi stepped in and looked for a switch to turn the light on but unfortunately he couldn't find one. That didn't affect him at all though, because after a short period of time his eyes got adjusted to the darkness and he could see perfectly clear.

As Daichi was about to begin investigating the house, a loud, annoying voice confronted him at the door step: "What do you think you're doing?! I'm calling the Rune Knights on you!!" The voice of a woman being so irritating, causing Daichi to shiver from disgust. He looked at her with a deadly expression and within a second she disappeared.

Once alone again, he began investigating the two-story house containing three bedrooms, a living room, two toilets, a kitchen and an attic. Daichi had a look in each room but he couldn't find anything or anyone there - besides darkness was his companion and even it couldn't confront anyone.

Daichi walked back out and sat on a concrete, cold curb followed by a sigh of exhaust: "I'm helpless at such missions without his help and intellect". His hands were shaking as he drew out his sword and the sharp blade was hitting against the ground. The sun began hiding beneath the infinte equator as it left a creamy-lilac colour in the sky behind it.

Night time began to take place in Oak Town and the darkness quickly occupied the forbidden streets. Suddenly he heard a whisper from inside the house, which immediately caught his attention as he jumped up and turned around.

"Of course, ghosts come out only during night time - stupid me!" Daichi said out loud as he stepped back into the haunted house. He swiftly headed up the first floor and stopped for a second, slowly turning his head around - trying to hear where the voices are coming from.

He broke into one of the bedrooms but confronted only darkness. Then he started running back downstairs again, but once he got down the voices started protracting from above. Daichi worked out the secret so he gathered his sword and giggled: "Got you!"

He pounced at the ceiling, piercing and cracking the ceiling open as it fell down to pieces on the ground floor. Crumbles of the wooden frames piled up on the ground floor, releasing dust which cmouflaged two silhouettes as they spoke: "He caught us!" As dust vanished, he could clearly see that two elder people's ghosts were floating in mid-air staring at him with a daring look.

Without any hesistation Daichi pounced at the two ghosts soaring in the dusty darkness, swinging his sword across their throats but the dark blade passed through the hollow figments - not reacting physically.

He landed on one of his knees, hearing the ghosts laugh at his stupidity: "Did you really think you'll hurt us with that?" Daichi was in the worst possible mood so he turned his head slightly to see where the ghosts were - gripped his sword as hard as he could and gathered an incredible amount of dark energy in it.

Ghosts suddenly froze as they seen the magical aura around his blade, staring at it helplessly. "Let me introduce you to my Slash of Darkness," Daichi said out loud with a sturdy, miffed voice as he expeditiously turned around, simultaneously fluctuating the sword and discharging the thin sphere of darkness as it travelled right at the ghosts.

The sphere caused the house roof to explode as the pieces and frames of wood flied up high into the air.

As tiny particles created a cloud of dust in the house, Daichi covered his mouth with his sleeve, alloing his eyes to focus on what will the powder reveal once it fades away. Dusty cloud quickly dissolved in the air as it revealed the two ghosts crouching on the roof frame, breathing heavily.

"Who-o..the hell...are y-?" one of them said as its face was filled up with terror and fear. The other ghost was sitting next to him, leaning against his friend, unconscious as it seemed for Daichi.

"Get out of this house," Daichi cut him short as he didn't have any time to be having conversations with hallucinative, dead ghosts. He still had to feed off his thirst for blood and the job was beginning to irritate him.

"YOU AGAIN?!" a voice which Daichi heard before but couldn't remember where sounded from behind and forced him to turn around and find the same woman who had a go at him earlier standing there again. He looked back at the ghosts and seen them leave.

"Okay, now it's time to feed," Daichi thought to himself as he began approaching the helpless, destitute woman, "I've been waiting for too long to refuse this meal - besides she has been doing my heading anyway."

The woman took a step back and tripped over due to the unexpected curb, forcing herself to fall on her butt. The accidental fall caused her to close her eyes and once she defeated her fear and forced her to open them - he was stood there right in front of her. His arm stretched out up in the sky with a sword in his fist.

Daichi grinned at the helpless mass of blood and meat, laughed in his psycho-a-like way and thrusted his sword into her heart. The blood splashed in Daichi's face as he felt an incredible amount of excitement and adrenaline, beginning to fade away and return to his normal state. The blood filled up the whole road like a sea of red, drowning Daichi's lust for blood and murder along with the woman.

"You truly are an animal!!" a quiet voice confronted Daichi as he was almost out of energy, leaning over his sword which was stuck in the ground. His breath was heavy as the sweat was sliding down his face and his eyes wide open. He slowly looked above him and seen the one of the two ghosts floating above the house.

"You're-re..lucky..I'm..out of...energy.." Daichi threatened the brave guy as he spat out the last words before falling on the ground and beginning to lose consciousness. He couldn't even look back up and felt so weak in front of the ghost. At that point he wished that the light side would disappear from Daichi's body.

"Anyway, I'm here to say that we found a better place for living so no need to destroy any more stuff here alright?" the ghost smirked and flied away - just like Daichi flied away into his mind and lost consciousness.

Daichi slowly opened his eyes, flooded with water making it quite blurry to see. He scratched his eyes and began seeing clearly as he looked around and seen the dead woman's body laying right in front of him.

"Oh no! Not again!" he thought to himself as he quickly picked the woman up and hid her body inside the broken to pieces house. He hated to wake up with a dead body in front of him which happened quite often and the worst part about it that he couldn't remember how he done it. His mind was just blank. Completely blank.

But he knew that he done it - not Daichi but whoever was living inside him. His lust overtakes his body and begins controlling it - killing innocent humans for fun.

He had to make a move so he quickly began lurking through the early streets of Oak Town towards the client's house. At least he remember the client's name.

He quickly found the right house as he remembered getting to her and breaking down the door. Once darkness takes over Daichi, he can still remember the first few minutes of being under control of lust and he could clearly remember how abrupt and disrespectful he was towards the poor guy. He decided that he will make a better last impression and will approach the client with more respect.

He calmly stepped on the doorstep, put last touches on his kimono to make sure he looks nice, reached out his right hand and knocked on the door. Ready with a cheerful smile on his face he positioned himself in a pose and waited for the man to open the door.

No-one came. Daichi got frustrated a bit but he calmed himself done: "I cannot do it again..!" He knocked the door again but nobody answered the door this time as well.

Daichi couldn't wait any longer, he bashed the door open as it come off the hinges and landed on the floor. The poor man ran out of the room again, almost crying from the sight of Daichi.

"Ghosts are cleared, you can return back to your house now!" he said to the guy, assisted with a smile on his face, which was fake of course. He hated to smile but now and then Daichi felt guilty which was due to his dark side most of the time so he forced himself to somehow make up to the chaos he caused. He excused himself for breaking the doors last time and this time again whilst the poor man was scared to say a single word.

He disappeared from the hall for a second and returned shortly with a pouch full of jewels. Scared to place it into Daichi's hand he chucked it across the hall, forcing Daichi to jump back to catch the pouch.

He opened it and quickly checked to make sure it was as mcuh as stated in the advert. Once he was happy, he turned around and headed home.
