A Newcomer Arrives!

After quite a few rounds in the Spooky Forest, X had finally found the mansion-sized building. Though it was oddly shaped and irregular, he had, no less, arrived at the guild known as Savage Skull. Many rumors had gone on to lead X to this place. Most of them involved incidents about Fiore in general; bombings, deaths, destruction, the usual. A sigh took place, followed by a smile. This smile was warming and friendly, however, if you were to truly understand X, you'd know that this smile was absolutely horrifying. Finally, X had found a home that was comforting to him. X walked right in, pushing the gigantic doors of the guild open. He was dumbfounded at the sight. Pure emptiness, nothing. Unlike the previous guilds X had seen, this guild hall had no bar, no tables, nothing. "This is extremely…welcoming." stated X in a rather satisfying tone. Shadows seem to fade and reappear, but maybe it was X's eyes playing tricks on him. He HAD been in the Spooky Forest fighting off creatures of many sorts for a few days now. For God's sake, how could anyone be as stupid as he?

The cryophoenix took one step forward, then another. He finally remembers his manners, knocking three times on the opened door. "Hello." was said. He wondered why the place was so quiet. Wasn't this guild supposed to be the one full or horror and destruction? The one the Magic Council extremely abhors? Maybe he was missing something, but X pushed the thought aside. "I've been fighting off annoying pests for three days straight now. Seeing as how quiet things are around here, a nap should suffice." X closed the door behind him, then got into a corner. He was about to sleep on the floor when he noticed it was hard, not very comforting at all. So instead, he made his way over to a pillar of some sort, leaning against it. "Ahh, relaxation at its finest."

Indar had spent other few days in the guild hall, not really bothering to do anything else. It was quiet and he enjoyed it. The people of this guild were really to his liking, no one bothered him, well even if they did, they didn't say much. But even that was enough to make Indar want to go and sleep for some time, like he was sort of doing right now. He was located in the main hall, near the front entrance, but a little bit higher. Having a seat on one of the decorations, near the area where the pillars reached the ceiling. It was probably the most isolated place in the guild, well that he know of so far that was.

Though this golden silence was soon broken by the front door opening. Someone was coming and this someone was new. The smell of this person was new, at least to Indar. He knew he hadn't met everyone part of Savage Skull yet, but surely, this guy wasn't part of it. And the hello that came from the guy next, confirmed it. Though, the guy then went to mumble about some stuff, that Indar payed no attention to. He ended up leaning against a pillar, a pillar opposite to the one that Indar was basically sitting a top of.

Indar suddenly had the urge to call out to this man. ''Hey you there, leaning against the pillar.'' A faint smile appeared onto Indar's face. ''I was wondering, what brought you to Savage Skull, on such a nice day?'' Indar wanted to see, if this guy could understand where his voice was coming from, though it was kinda obvious. But the reasoning, to the man stepping into this guild, was intriguing Indar as well.

Just as X was about to hit the hay and actually fall asleep whilst standing, a sound coming from another human, or so it seemed like, approached him. ''Hey you there, leaning against the pillar. I was wondering, what brought you to Savage Skull, on such a nice day?'' X got up and stood straight, moving away from the pillar. He searched for the direction of the voice, finally, his eyes wandered to the top of another nearby pillar. The owner of the voice was rather young, at least, younger than X, who was over a century old. But none the less, something about this kid had the aura stating he was truly a dark guild member. Yet, why was he so familiar looking towards X? That was a question to be asked another day. For now, X decided he just had to answer some questions and get into the guild.

"Hello there. X is my name. Though, I wouldn't say it's a fine day when the storms clouds are coming and its already starting to rain, I came simply because I needed a place to stay. You could say my situation is…I've been kicked out of my household." X said all of this in a crazed happy man's tone. Too happy-go-lucky to signal that he wanted to join the guild at all. For, if anything, he sounded like he was apart of legal guild. But that was not the case. "If this is truly the dark guild hall of Savage Skull, I'd like to be branded…now." His second sentence was said in the same manner, happy and cheery. The only difference this time was behind his smiling face, he was dead serious. If this man was not to stamp X with the guild crest immediately, problems would…come up. "So, what's your move?"

Indar listened to the man with great interest. His name sounded like a mystery, not like it was his real one, but no one in their right mind would just throw out their real name when entering the halls of Savage Skull anyway. Though, a smile filled with insanity appeared onto Indar's face, when he heard that the man wished to join the ranks of Savage Skull. This was most indeed intriguing.

''Well, i'm most certainly happy, that you wish to join us.'' With that, Indar jumped off the pillar decoration, landing perfectly onto his legs, with a thud. The metal skeleton absorbed the shock perfectly. It came in really handy during these kinds of drops. After he had landed, he walked towards the man, who was located exactly across the hall. ''You see, i can't brand you really, that is for someone else to do. I'm merely on of the four pillars of Savage Skull.'' He was now facing the man and with a smile Indar bowed. ''The Pillar of Annihilation, at your service.''

He couldn't help but laugh after this, he was acting out of his regular personality. It wasn't like him to be this polite, yes he was nice to people, but not this nice.

After X stated what he wanted to say, the man's face was priceless. It was hardly a poker face, as it was filled with maleficent and insanity, once again truly a dark guild mage. This man did give off the "dark guild" aura, but didn't show any signs of the "all-powerful" aura. Aside from just analyzing this human being, X was also listening to the man's answer to his previous question, the one of being stamped. The man had told X that he was not the one to stamp him, hence X was a little disappointed. "If the kid has no power to do so, it isn't his fault..." is what X had concluded. Then, the terror struck.

"The Pillar of Annihilation, at your service."

This kid, whoever he was, who didn't radiate anything with the exception of "dark mage", was one of the four mighty pillars of Savage Skull? Intriguing. While saying that, the kid smiled and bowed. X, however, was way impressed. His cool personality changed immediately, turning into a fanboy at such sight! Shaking the kid's hands at an ridiculous rate, X spoke. "Wow, Pillar of Annihilation huh? How old are you? What's your name? Meeting one of the four pillars, I must be lucky!" X continued fanboying over the Annihilation Pillar, his smile widening. "Well, I'm not the type who enjoys waiting, but I shall if I must, so no one minds if I...chill...around the guild hall in the meantime, correct?"

Indar's smile disappeared and turned into a more concerned look, as the man suddenly started shaking his hand and asked a blurry of questions. This was Indar's good side, handling people like this, was what he was horrible at. His mind couldn't keep up with the questions and really was creating a massive distraction.

''Yes, i am one of the pillars, but i'm not really that special.'' Indar really didn't like attention on him, he enjoyed it if it was from his enemies, but this kind of fanboying was making him really uncomfortable. Though he wasn't going to say anything, wouldn't want to get on the bad side of a new recruit, especially when so much magical energy was coming from him.

''The names' Indar Blackshield and my age is something i like to keep private, at least for now. You'll probably get the tattoo from the guild master or the second in command, whenever they show up that is.'' He let out a sigh and looked back at the man in front of him. ''No one will mind if you hang around in the main hall at least.'' He was kinda waiting for either Harrigan or Aedre to show up and take care of this, as Indar was feeling really uncomfortable.
