Wedding Crashers (Solo/Job)

Elyx looked at the job request in his left hand, a marriage that might be under attack. This wasn't gold, everyone knew one thing about a marriage, no matter who is in it, the wedding is all about the bride. In this case, she is about to have her wedding ruined by some man who for some reason is unable to get over her. Maybe he wants her back? Well, that was probably something he should have thought of before he did whatever he did to break up with her, or her to break up with him.

Here was Elyx, getting ready for the wedding as well. He was in his room at his house, which is really the only room that isn't cluttered with music papers. That and his two bathrooms. On his counter was an invitation to the wedding after he accepted the job. It made him seem like an honored guest, but really it was evidence to prove that he was actually the man they hired to take cade of the evil ex. This was a familiar story to Elyx, yet he couldn't remember from where.

When Elyx was done, the final outcome was actually not as bad as he expected. This was the first time he ever wore a tuxedo. Admittedly, he could barely breathe in the damn suit due to the fact that there was too much startch, and for him to barely breathe, he needed to stand up straight. Under his tuxedo, he had normal clothing as well, just in case he needed to chase someone down. This tuxedo also affected his Violin playing and leg speed as well, this is a formal shackle to him. It was amazing to him that people actually wanted to wear this sort of thing. But they did, and he just had to learn to deal with it. Ignite was coming along as well, and she didn't even have to wear anything since she was a Phoenix Bird. She was lucky. Hey Ignite, we should get over there to meet the clients. Separately that is. We don't want to give the groom bad luck now do we.? Elyx asked as he winked one eye and smiled. This was an excited event for him.

Elyx and Ignite traveled quickly to not a town this time, but the Rose Garden. This couple liked nature it seemed, plants, roses. Elyx was a member of Black Rose, which may either sound like a good thing or may sound like something so dark. He personalky didn't care, just as long as he was able to save the wedding, he would be fine and the wedding would be saved. He had to be honest though, part of him just wanted to get that huge jewel reward as we, and as long as nothing is stopping him from getting it, what would be the big problem? Everyone would be happy in the end anyways, including Ignite, who was finally a month old.

The Rose Garden was finally in range, and all Elyx had to do was get to it. They made their wedding rather obvious to see, and very obvious to hear as well. The Violins being played sounded so sweet, he memorized some of their melodies and even recognizes. Then again, this could be a bad thing for them as well, it was like they wanted so much attention to arise from their wedding, and that really wasn't the safe route to travel at all. He had to find a way to stop them. But, maybe it would be easier to loom for the client, the bride. But it seems she was able to catch him before he was able to catch her. At this rate, the job will be a bust. He couldn't even find his client, how do we know he would find the evil ex?

Elyx Reiaki right? The one who accepted my job request? The lady asked him with gentleness in her voice. When Elyx turned around to see her, she was already in her wedding dress. She looked so beautiful, normally people with curvy hair and bangs decrease their looks in dresses, but this woman looked so young and beautiful. Elyx could never forgive the groom if he saw her in the wedding dress. The lady looked about 21 years old, which in his opinion was a very young age to marry, but that was just him. It was funny to him though, he knew that he legally can't date anyone older than him. This gives him a hopeful excuse to date who he would like.

Yes, how did you figure that out? Elyx asked with his smile showing again. He avoided eating chocolate so his breath would be nice and minty for the wedding. The woman smiled right back, it was like they knew each other already. I planned it all out. All invites except for the one I hired recieved a free suit, all of them being the same. And differing you from a woman... I really hope that isn't hard for anyone. The lady explained she then changed the subject. My name is Sherri, well... Cherry. Allow me to explain the problem. Today is the day of the wedding and my ex keeps getting into fights with the groom, Raiskei.

Sherri then handed Elyx a small piece of paper. It was a map, of the Rose Garden. There are a few X's on the paper, red and black ones. There was a key to it as well. The red Xs were marked... Targets. The black Xs meant the theive, the biggest on probably being the evil ex. This should be interesting, why would they lose something this important?

They don't seem to be far away from here. Trust me, I'll send them far back from the wedding, they won't even be able to hear the music once I'm done with them. Elyx said confidently as he smiled. Ignite chirped a little bit as she flew onto Sherri's shoulder. Sherri giggled a little as she was saying with Ignite, it was nice to see that people took a liking to his familiar. Ignite was so young, yet so loved. It was people that she loved to hang around the most, not animals, and they all love her for being so adorable and loveable.

Elyx started walking to wherever this territory may be, the attackers of the wedding weren't far off at all from where Elyx was standing. Meanwhile, he needed to think up of a plan to take care of these guys. They weren't going to be so easy if they had large numbers as shown here. Recon probably wasn't ggoing to be a possibility either, what more could they possibly want? He thought to himself about why he was needed for the job again, then he remembered that he was a wizard, he had the strength to take out most of these people anyways without even breaking so much a sweat.

These seemed easy to take care of anyways, so why note have a little bit of fun as well? Here mister bad guys who want to ruin a wedding? Its not like I am going to ruin your plans or anything like that Elyx said as of he were calling them out. This was funny for him, almost like a game. The opponents he was planned to face, he underestimated completely.

Do you seriously think I am that damn stupid? A man asked him from behind. He had a tuxedo on a well, but the glare in his eyes, they showed no eyes of good intention. And he wasn't even trying to deny the fact that he was someone that Elyx... Should fear? That was debatable on manyevels, but he didn't care, this man had a bounty on him. That means that there are Bounty Hunters that are going to be after him, and unfortunately for this man, there is one standing in front of him right now. It was funny really, and this man thought he would he able to take on the mage hired to take him down? Who does he think he is?

I do actually. You didn't even bring back up to help you, this fight is uneven from the start, I have no problems with taking out multiple targets, do you think a single man will be even hard? Elyx asked as he crossed his arms, waiting for an answer. Back up is normally something that keeps someone from being hit by Elyx. But this man was all on his own ,sure he didn't expect a bounty hunter mGe to arrive, but that should Apply for all mages. If this man knew a mage or two were coming, why did he not even prepare himself?

You think I need help to take on a kid? If you are going to be the only wall in the way, I might as well walk by you. The man said as he tried to walk past Elyx, but the bounty hunter stopped the man by leg sweeping him off the ground. The man landed on his hands and flipped back up onto his feet. I am a bounty hunter, I don't let my targets 'walk past me'. I make them fight! I won't kill you, but if you don't go away right now, I'll give you a beating so bad, it will make the Flame Blade Genocide look like a kid Fairytale.

Elyx and the man stood in front of each other now, battle intentions in the both of them, neither of them planning to back out now. It was a job to Elyx, a fight against the man, a reward at the end. Meanwhile this man still has no confirmed reason for choosing to fight against the woman. He clearly didn't want her back if he planned to hurt her by hurting the man she lived. Now that he though a little bit more about it, how did he and Sherri break up? There might be reason behind it after all if there was a good story, but no matter what, these actions just were not neccessary. He decided to leave it for either during the fight, or after this victory. It all depends on how the man replies.

Hey, how about you tell me how you and Sherri broke up? Elyx started as he ran towards the man with his fists and feet ready for close combat. The Tuxedo was holding him down a little bit since the starch objects to flexible movements of the human body. But it still makes move like this buzzsaw kick very effective as well. Elyx aimed a buzzsaw kick to the right cheek of the man, who caught Elyxs foot in time. The Violinist then rembsred what Jai did when he was caught in this position. The Mule Kick. He jumped with his other foot and aimed a kick to the head again, this time it was ducked again, but that was the point of this move. When his hands his the ground, he sprung them back up from the ground and backheel kicked his opponents head, knocking the man to the ground. The man rolled back up to his feet a little startled, but now he wasn't underestimating Elyx now.

Elyx: 100% Health

I don't have to tell you anything about it! The man exclaimed as he shot a giant... Wave it seemed? Elyx couldn't afford to risk his current health while it was still good. It was a forest, a tree was perfect. Elyx jumped behind his back to land on a tree behind him, then sprung himself in the air, Hus Violin being summon as he did so. The wave was leapt over without any damage taken from the wave. Elyx rolled onto the ground as he landed and looked up with his Violin still ready to beat the man down as well. He played a tune that will knock the man out if he wasn't careful. This song was Classical Reflections, Movement two. The man ran towards Elyx, ready to strike him down, but he was only getting closer towards his defeat.

When the piece ended, his Violin bow no longer was a bow, but IG shattered to the blade of with, Shattering Breeze. Breeze isn't a joke , it is designed to inflict heavy amounts of damage and knock back within a short amount of time... Like... A really short amount of time. To be specific, ten seconds. The man jumped into the air, ready to punch Elyx in the air, but Elyx swung his blade upwards and hit the stomach of the man, sending him flying away, hitting a tree in the process. There were a few seconds left in the blade, he had to make them count. He quickly ran towards the man as he was flying, and when he hit the tree, Elyx jumped up again and slashed the man. He was already at the tree, but the knock back was so devastating, his body was shoved halfway into the tree before the friction stopped him. He was trapped in there, exposed to another hit.

The man shot a save at Elyx from out of nowhere, but he didn't really feel much of an effect from it. It felt like his magic was drained, but not too much. What was the supposed to do? Come on man, spill the embarrassing story, no one else is here anyways. Even if there was someone here, they wouldn't be able to hear it because they can't hear you over me kicking your ass. Elyx said as he then was going to let this man escape, but he was going to have to take some damage before then. Elyx played the piece to bring out Wind Lerale Execution Bomb, and there was nowhere the man can go, so this could hurt a lot. But that was probably to point of battle. Elyx could have been mean and started punching the helpless stapled man, but that would be unfair. Allowing him to fight back would still be unfair anyways since the differences in power is obvious anyways, but it see that man will stop at nothing to screw up that wedding. That goes against Elyxs job, and it was a shame that the Bounty Hunter felt like his matters mattered the most in this case, not the mans.

Execution Bomb launched towards the tree and knocked the top half of the tree down, causing critical damage to the man as he fell down, probably almost as devastating as a spell Elyx can use. The man stood up though as if nothing happened, but he was bleeding, and his anger was showing as he let out a rage-filled scream, but he was mad for the wrong reasons, so Elyx could expect that yell to be bluff, meaning no power was added.

The man ran towards Elyx against, ready to engage in phycial combat. Elyx tried to catch the incoming punch, but the second fist hit him in the stomach and causing him to lunge forward. The man kicked Elyxs face to make him stumble back and lose almost all sense of balance. No blood was shown though, and his hurt did hurt a little bit since his nose was almost struck. The man was about to continue until Elyx did catch the next fist aimed for his head, and twisted the mans hand one time before leg sweeping him off of his feet. Those two hits Elyx took really hurt, and he didn't really appreciate how much the hurt when he took them. So to return the favor, while the man was lying on his back, Elyx stomped on his stomach to force his head to rise. Then he kicked the mans face as it rose for revenge, knocking the man back down, and nose blood exited his face from that strike. It seems the child had the better strength among the two of them.

Elyx rolled back to let the man get back, he wasn't in any condition to fight if Elyx didn't let him have a few seconds to breathe. He did up slowly, so many wounds on his body. Elyx felt a bit of pain in his body as well, but it was obvious who was winning this fight, no matter how much you slice it. This was all Elyx, and if they continued this battles he might accidently kill his target. That wasn't part of the job description, but things happen, and it wasn't like he was told not to. Still, he wasn't asked to kill anyone, so he will do his best not to out this man down.

The man still decided to continue fighting, shooting more wave magic to drain Elyxs, but the violinist didn't even move. It only blocked him to one spell every moment. What was the real cost? He only needed one spell, and he could take on this man in a one vs one combat battle. Jai's training is taking effect, before him, Elyx would struggle with this sort of thing, but now he is beating up a man designed for physical combat. The man ran at Elyx and aimed a buzzsaw kick towards his left cheek, which would knock the teen violinist out if he let it happen. He prepared himself and ducked the attack, leaving the man to spin around and leave his back exposed to critical amounts of danger. Elyx tried to kick through the back of the man, but he rolled forward just in time to avoid the attack. Elyx chased the man who was running away from the violinist, he wasn't getting to the wedding that easy, a break for it it seems. Thtmat is a coward move.

The man turned his back as he continued running, his pace slowing down as he did so. Kid! I don't have a grudge against you! Leave me alone! The man exclaimed, but only to get tackled by Elyx from behind. The two of then continued to struggle to land hits on each other, Elyx being able to land a few successful punches, mainly because he was the one with leverage as the man below him was more focused on defending. A smart move for defense measures.

The man forced Elyx off eventually, causing the man to gain a little leverage, but Jai taught him exactly what to do when it seems like the opponent had the upper hand.The man struck at Elyxs stomach one time, but Elyx grabbed the throat of the man and squeezed the man until he rolled off of the violist, Elyx took this moment to jump onto the man and make a few more strikes, but then he noticed that the man is almost completely knocked out, maybe this could be the mans surrendering point. If not, Elyx wasn't afraid to continue this fight. He had to admit though, his muscles were aching badly, he felt like an artery had been struck, and his heart was beating extremely fast. Just a few more hits and Elyx felt like he would be knocked out. When it came to muscle, it was this man who can take the cake. When it came to skill, awareness, and speed, it was all Elyx.

Do you give in? Or do you dare challenge me again? Elyx asked as he put his fists up, and surprisingly, the man put his up at well, giving it one more chance it seems. The both of them were tired, their attacks are probably going to be lazy and their dodging will probably look odd. By the end of this, one of them will be really messed up, now who it was was all up to fate. And skill. And power, and rally all statistics based on their endurance.
Somehow I knew on would do that, let's dance!

The man aimed a punch to the right cheek, but Elyx moved his body back just in time, he countered the move by trying to strike back at the mans right cheek, but he stepped to the side just in time to avoid Elyxs attack. This battle was teetering at this rate, and Elyx can't afford to try using magic, the mans magic draining attack can end him if he did that. Elyx didn't want to give him any ideas about what could end the fight. This job was almost done, all he had to do was land one more hit and the marriage is saved. If Elyx took one more hit, he is done, the mission is unsuccessful and this man would scare everyone at the wedding with his bloody appearance. The man struck gain, thi time trying to tackle the violinist, but, this time, the violistist was ready to end it. He lifted his knee quickly and struck the stomach of the man quickly, causing him to take major amounts of damage and fall onto the ground with a big thud. He held in his stomach, and finally, the words he wanted to hear came out.

I give! I give! I'll stop! The man exclaimed as he held in his stomach. Elyx wasn't insane, he wouldn't kick a man when he was down and begged for mercy, he wasn't on a bounty and no reward for his death was out there based on what he has seen. Elyx put down his fists and looked down at the man, he was in no condition to continue fighting. Meanwhile, the Violinist barely had the strength to continue, what will happen now?

Enemy: Defeated

Elyx looked down at the man, thinking based on all the puzzle pieces he was given, and he came up with a final solution. You didn't want to ever hurt Sherri now did you. Elyx explained as he walked up to the mans limp body, ready to say his theory. The whole time, you were just mad at the groom, you thought that he would ruin Sherri forever at the time she went out with him. I'm sure he was a good man, but you were blinded by your anger and jealousy to have Sherri again if I am not mistaken. The man groaned as he was forced to listen, it's not like he could run away. his explanation won't take long, but it will have a lot of impact on the man at the end of this conversation.

A wedding is supposed to be a brides special day, it is never about the groom you know. Elyx explained as the man looked up at the Violinist. He loooked confused, and it seems the man had no idea what marriage was normally about, what it would usually be about. It is the brides special day man, did you seriosuly not figure that our yet? If you dare ruin this marriage somehow from this point, you may hurt the groom, sure. But I want you to think about who you are truly hurting at the end of all this, not yourself, not the groom, but

Sherri... Cherry... I'd be hurting her. The man said, and Elyx nodded to the maan as he then walked away, leaving that moment to sink into the man before anything else could happen. It seems if the amount of time for him to think about it was given, the man will be able to reach a new goal in the end. Sherri is a grown woman, even if the groom is the wrong man, you should try to tell her. Not kill the groom out of anger and jealousy. But this groom, he was a good one.

Elyx ran towards the area where the wedding was located, and it seems he arrived there just in time, the couple that he expected, they looked so beautiful, and Sherri didn't even have any sort of fear showing. The two of them kissed, it was the "You may kiss the bride" sort of scene going on, and Elyx was us there to witness it. There seemed to be an illusion though after the kiss, he could have sworn he saw a small wink from Sherri, showing a "Thank You", but it was very brief, so he couldn't comfirm anything yet, not just yet. The celebration was great, and he enjoyed all the foodd, drinks, talking, it was almost like he never had to do a job in the first place. Sherri walked up to him with a grateful smile on her face and a small bag of loot in her hand. This want about jewels anymore, this wedding was beautiful enough as it is, and seeing her so happy, the bride was happy on her wedding day, now that is beautiful.

Thank you so much Elyx, I'm sorry to put you through all of that. You aren't hurt or anything right? Sherri asked with concern in her voice. She inspected him and turned his face a few times, examining him. This became rather awkward. Elyx took a few seconds to make his reply. Sherri, I know you would make a great mother one day, but I am not your kid... or any kid for that matter. Anyways, They wounds I received can be easily healed, and I signed up for this! Nothing done to me is your fault, I'm just glad everything ended up the way it should be.

Sherri handed him the jewels and smiled once more. Thank you so much, this means so much to me and this could have been a different story if you hadn't come so quickly. She said to him as she then walked away, the story of the bride has been complete. In all honesty, he did have no idea how happy she felt, though it was supposed to be her day, he knew that being a man, he would never understand what it is like to be that happy after a marriage has been seen. He was 17, he doesn't plan to marry until he was at least legal. He didn't exactly know law in this town quite yet, but he knew this much, he was going to abide by the rules he set up for himself. He kept standards on how he was going to live life and lock in those standards.

Ignite and Elyx ended up leaving the party early both of them satisfied with their ending of the job. This was a beautiful end in his opinion, the bride was happy, and the ex man shouldn't bother the groom anymore. Ignite then started to chirp with taunt in her voice, clearly trying to have a little fun with Elyx. No! I don't know when I'll get married! Elyx exclaimed as ignite pecked him a few times and chirped again. Why not? Because I say so! And if I hear one more word about this come from your mouth, I'm going to make sure you tweet your last tweet. With that, Ignite flew up high into the air and continued taunting him from up there. This was probably going to be a long way back to Black Rose.
