Find The Ring! (Limiter) Nightken

It was a bright and sunny day in Oak Town as Nightken walked into town. He had his usual casual clothes on looking at the his wrist he wasn't used to wearing a limiter so it felt pretty odd. Walking around he found the place he was told to be at. "Finding an engagement ring that fell in the river is gonna be pretty tricky." He thought to himself while walking through Oak Town. "Oh over here." A woman shouted to him. Walking over to her he easily could tell she was the client. "Where exactly did the ring fall in at?" He asked as she showed him the exact spot it fell in at. "It is a gold ring with a large diamond in the center and four little ones on the side. Two on each side of the big one." She explained the description of the ring. "When I find it I'll bring it to you." He said to her as she left shortly after looking a bit calmer. Scratching the back of his head he started to walk towards some of the shops. "Hey could you give me some info on this river?" He asked the shop keep.

Walking into the first shop near him he asked the shop keep. "Hey could you give me some info on this river?" "Why are you so interested in the river?" The shop keep asked when he heard the question. "I'm doing a job for someone in town and they dropped their ring in the river, so I was curious what is the likelihood of finding it?" He explained. The shop keep started to think about how likely it would be to find the ring. "To be honest there is a chance of finding it if you go to the bridge over the river. Under it is a screen that prevents things from entering and leaving so you might find it around there if not then someone in town found it." He explained before Nightken headed over towards the bridge. Looking around he saw a spot for the people who clean the screens and two people cleaning them. "Excuse me could either of you help me with something?" He asked while walking up to them.

They looked at him as he walked up both of which were confused on why he'd want to talk to them. "What can we help you with?" One of them asked once he stood in front of them. "By any chance have either of you found a ring in the river in the past few days?" He asked as they started to sort through the large bag of things that fell into the river. Looking through he didn't see any ring, but found a small diamond that fell out of a bottle. "This might just be part of what I'm looking for. Thanks for your time." He said before he stuck the small diamond in his pocket. Thinking about where he should try checking out he bumped into a small kid knocking the kid over. "Sorry about that you alright?" He said helping the kid up. "Uh huh." The kid seemed fine just a little dirt on their clothes. Thinking about it he figured it couldn't hurt to ask. "Have you seen a ring that has five stones like this on it?" He asked pulling the small diamond out of his pocket.

"Yeah I saw a pretty lady wearing it the other day. She was buying flowers." The kid said pointing to the flower shop. "Thanks and sorry about bumping into you." He said to the kid as he put the diamond back in his pocket. Walking over to the flower shop someone came walking out with a large amount of flowers. Thinking to himself he thought those might be for Emy and her wedding that is coming up. Letting them go by he went into the flower shop and went straight to the counter with someone behind it. "How can I help you?" The woman behind the counter asked. "I'm trying to find someone's lost ring it has five diamonds on it." As he explained she immediately responded. "Oh you mean miss Emy's engagement ring that thing was gorgeous. Don't tell me she lost it." She said putting the palm of her hand to her forehead. "Yeah it fell into the river and I was only able to find one of the small diamonds on it." He said hoping she'd have any info on where it could possibly be.

"You said she lost it by the river. If that is the case then it should be near the screen under the bridge, but if it isn't there then someone found it which means they might keep it, sell it, or return it. I'll help however I can because she is a friend." The flower shop saleswoman explained. "Keep an eye out for anyone who might have it in hand I'll try at the river again if anything it is caught on something." He said as he walked out of the flower shop and started to head back to the river. Looking around the spot that she said it fell in at he couldn't see it anywhere in the water. The river was crystal clear, but didn't have what he was after due to this he started to think of possible people that could have it. "The two at the bridge are likely people to have it due to their job and then there is anyone in town that walked over to the river and saw it. Guess I can try the bridge people again." He said as he noticed those two were gone.

Looking around he saw the two going into a large crowd of people. He quickly chased after them, but one of them turned around as he started to run towards them and hit the other in the shoulder as they took off. Chasing after them in the large crowd was difficult especially when they split up. Chasing the one that noticed him he was lead to the back of one of several buildings. The path lead to a dead end. With the person from the bridge stuck he started to ask questions. "Now how would you know we didn't tell you everything?" "I didn't I was simply gonna see if you could loan me something to sift through the bottom of the river." Nightken replied as the bridge worker was surprised. "So what there is no way you can catch up to my companion now he is too far away by now." He said as if they were victorious. "You really don't know who you're messing with." As Nightken said that his body was coated in black lightning and he took off towards the other bridge worker.

As he dashed through town with his Lightning Body spell thunder could be heard as he moved by everyone in town. He cut the other bridge worker off in front of the bridge. "Now then you and me need to have us a little chat. Your choice the easy way or the hard way." He said as the bridge worker started to back up. He took off trying to get away, but when he did Nightken stuck his foot in front of him causing the worker to trip and fall. When he fell several items fell out of his pockets one being the ring he was looking for. "I'll be taking this off your hands." When he said that people started to surround the worker and take their stuff back along with some anger towards him. Walking towards a shop that dealt with jewelry he put the ring and small diamond on the counter. "Excuse me could you put this diamond back on this ring?" As he said that the jeweler looked at it and was shocked to see the state the ring was in. "What happened to this ring?" He asked as he pulled out his tools to fix it. Scratching the back of his head he explained everything that happened to the ring and who it belongs to. "All fixed I'm not gonna charge you for this seeing how much trouble you went through to get it back." After he said that Nightken put the ring in his pocket and went to Emy's place and knocked on the door. Emy practically slung the door off the hinges in her excitement. "Found your ring sorry about the wait." He said as he handed her the ring. "Thank you so much here is the reward for finding it." She said handing over the money for the job. Nightken left her place and started to head towards the bridge as he used his Raven Ring. He flew back to Magnolia with this job being completed.
