Faize looked around in astonishment as he walked along the cobblestone avenues of Magnolia Town. This place was so different from Faize's home island and Clover Island. It was much more like a city than Faize had ever seen. He looked to the left and could see the grand Kardia Cathedral sparkling it's steeples against the shimmering Magnolia skyline. Faize looked to the right and could see towards the coast and the gigantic Fairy Tail guildhall sitting right at the coast. This place was so magical! Faize looked down at the paper in his hands. No, he could go sightsee later. Right now he had a job to do! Faize was going to use his magic to entertain the ailing children at the hospital. This was his first mission and Faize really wanted to do it. He loved his magic, and to use it to help kids like him to feel better was even better!

According to the map that Faize was given when he arrived at the Magnolia Town Tourist Kiosk, the hospital that Faize was going to be performing his first job at was called Faerie Healing Center. It seemed to specialize in healing magic used on children. It gave Faize a warm, snuggly feeling in his stomach to help these people out. They deserved to smile, especially for such a noble pursuit. The blue-haired boy rounded a corner and a pretty sight grew in his eyes. His eyes widened at the sight of a immaculate white building with shimmering vines hanging down from the roof with flowers on them that changed colors ever so often. The boy bolted forward and plunged his face into a flower. His eyes widened even more as the flower had a beautiful scent that reminded Faize of his old caretaker. The warm feeling in his chest from before came back again.

"!!!"

Faize snapped to attention and looked around. He had a job to do! He could smell the flowers later! Which he most certainly would...

Faize put his staff down for a moment while he fixed his turban and made sure his vest and pants were straight. He remembered his caretaker telling him that whenever he was about to meet someone new that he should make himself look spiffy! After making sure he looked alright, Faize picked his staff up and walked towards the door in front of him. He reached for the doorknob and pushed the glass door open with a bit of effort. After pushing the door open as far as he could, Faize rushed forward and jumped out of the reach of the glass. The boy sighed in relief as he realized he made it inside. Faize shot the door a dirty look. It didn't have to be so heavy...

The boy got to his feet and walked over to the front desk....that was significantly taller than he was. The boy tried jumping up for the nurse to see him, but he was just too short. "Hey! Excuse me!", the boy called out. The nurse at her desk looked up but didn't see anyone. "Hello? Is someone there?", the woman called out in confusion. Faize tried jumping again. "Yes! Yes, someone's here!", he yelped while still trying to jump. The woman's eyebrow raised. "Uh... I don't see anyone..", the woman muttered. "D-Down here!", the boy yelled as he used his staff and stood on his tippy toes while he wagged the wooden staff around for the woman to see. And see she did. The woman stood from her chair and leaned over her desk. She looked down, blinking and caught sight of Faize. The woman smiled warmly as her hair trailled down.

"Well, hello there!"

Faize smiled up to the woman and waved to her. "Hi! My name is Faize Startile! I'm here to entertain the patients today!", the boy said cheerfully. The woman looked a bit confused. "U-Umm, that's very sweet of you, Faize, but we have someone from Blue Pegasus coming in to entertain the children today." Faize blinked in confusion. "B-But... I'm from Blue Pegasus...", the child said. The woman giggled a little. "I'm sure you will be one day, little guy. Now why don't you go run along home, okay? I'm sure your mother is worried about you.", the woman said, dashing Faize's hopes on his first job ever.

The sting of tears against Faize's eyes made him rub them, but he stood his ground. "No, really! I am in Blue Pegasus! Look!", Faize said indignantly as he flashed the woman his guildmark which was on his right shoulder. The woman's face was written in surprise at the sight of the Blue Pegasus mark on the shoulder of a child. It seemed official enough...even if he was a child... The nurse nodded to Faize. "Well, well, I apologize then. You're just so young, hehe..." The nurse came from around her desk and over to Faize. Sh knelt down and looked him over. "Your magician's outfit is very cute. I'm sure the other chi- the..uh..patients will love it!", the woman said. Faize nodded as he blushed a little. The nurse held out her hand for Faize to take. "Well, Mister Magician, shall I take you to the children?", she said with a sweet smile.
