There he was, yawning as the queue seemed to never shrink. There were always newcomers joining the long line to get that something. It wasn’t a something something, but rather, it was a something something that’s something. Wow, that was messed up. Anyway, Naruto yawned again, for the 10th time, he found the long wait boring. Today was one of the busiest day in Rose Garden, obviously it was busy enough in its usual days, but today it was entirely different. Mages, people and families all buzzed in line, talking to each other about the thing the mage council had just officialised. A passport.

It was utterly noisy at the Rose Garden, people lining up and stuffs. Naruto wouldn’t actually like the situation he was in, but figured that he would need the passport sooner or later. So waiting won’t be wrong, right? Shrugging the thought away, Naruto took a small step forward, getting a step closer to getting his turn. It would be a long day, he thought, seeing as the people lining up that day brought like, their entire families, mostly for holiday purposes. Hoping that this painful long wait will end soon, Naruto sighed, taking another small step forward. “That guy was quick.”

Naruto looked up, the sun shone rather brightly. It hurt his eyes to just take a glance, but decided to play a little game while he waited. “Welp, here goes, a staring contest!” Naruto took a deep breath, then stared straight towards the yellow gigantic sun. It burned his eyes, but Naruto went silly, deciding that he won’t blink, not before the sun blink itself. “I’ll defeat you!” Naruto focused his stare right at the middle of the sun, his eyes becoming dry as he kept going at what he was doing. Naruto knew he must win, his dominant side showing up to the sun.

The sun didn’t want to give up, stubbornly continuing the staring game. “I won’t lose, fool!” Naruto shouted in his heart, hoping the shout will reach the sun somehow. Maybe by some wave transmission or something? Naruto sighed while he thought of those things. “Hm, I wonder why didn’t I learn some type of wave magic?” Naruto felt his eyes getting dried, just like the desserts. Just when he was about to win, which he would probably never, Naruto bumped onto a guy in front of him, prompting him to blink once. “Argh damn! I lost!!!” Naruto shouted, kneeling as he searched his pouch for some water.

Naruto ignored whatever the man he bumped onto was saying, wetting his eyes by splashing some water directly into his eyes. “Wohoo.. that was fun.” Naruto smiled wide, it was finally his turn. The one taking care of the people were the Rune Knights, and Naruto chuckled at their skimpy outfits. “What’s this, some trip to funland?” Naruto let out a small laughter, even though the people around him didn’t actually get the joke. Realizing that he was laughing alone, Naruto coughed, going on with the procedure. Taking pics and all, finally he was done. Going home, Naruto looked at the sun, a fist up on the air after. “I won’t lose next time we play, Sun.”
