Sephiria's D to C Exam

A cool breeze gently swept it’s way through the streets of Karakuri. It was quite a beautiful day for the isolated mountain city. The skies were crystal clear, the sun was shining bright, and the people were happily going about their morning routines. Reiki watched them walk the streets below as he sat atop the steps of the Eclipse Soul guild hall. He had been asked to evaluate one of their newest members, a girl by the name of Sephiria, to see if she was good enough to be considered a C class mage. With Alye being busy with affairs in the Magic Council and other Guild Masters, Aian off doing his solitary training to try and control his new powers, and Kyll responsible for taking care of the hall and all new members, the duty of training those members naturally fell to Reiki; for the time being at the very least.

Reiki didn’t mind this at all. It would be a good chance for him to meet the new members, as well as get a feel for their strength before going on missions with them. He smiled, as he stared down towards the city, flexing his hand in and out of being a fist in front of him whilst he waited for Sephiria to arrive. During one of his recent missions with Alye and Aian, he had consumed the lacrima that he found his uncle Azrael guarding deep within forgotten ruins. The lacrima indeed was from his father, Gellidus and upon consuming the lacrima, his powers exploded and increased many fold. He was still having a hard time believing the power he now felt. Reiki felt as if he was truly a dragon now. Though a bit of a worrying thought did come to mind suddenly. Sephiria is only D rank, so she’s nowhere near the levels Aian and I are at. I still don’t even know just how much my powers have increased…. I really need to make sure I try and hold back on her. You’ll help me out with that, right, Azrael? Reiki asked, looking up into the skies above. Not to worry, my dear Nephew. I’ll make sure to keep you in check so you don’t go killing the poor girl. Heaven knows the amount of time’s I’ve had to do that back in the day with young dragons such as yourself. Azrael reaffirmed Reiki, letting a small laugh resonate through his mind. Reiki couldn’t help but chuckle a bit himself. Even his uncle was recognizing him as if he were a true dragon. Alright then. This training session should turn out to be quite a bit of fun. Wonder what kind of magic she uses? Reiki pondered aloud, as he continued awaiting the arrival of his training partner.
