Clementine swam through the seas on the back of Stygil,  who took the form of a great shark 12 meters long.   She rode on top of the big fish silently through the waters.  Her wings were withdrawn as they'd only be a nuisance under water.

Not as though they'd be wet,  no,  Clementine's hair was as dry as can be as were her clothes.   Her barrier saw to that.  Her wings would be no exception.   But they would slow her down.

Considering Clementine expected to be occupied for weeks as it was,  she did not cherish the idea of wasting any time.

< We're there > Clementine said,  patting the side of her shark.   Stygil acknowledged and slowed to circle the area but Clementine was already off,  treading water elsewhere.

They were about three hundred meters below sea level,  but this "Calm Sea" was indeed the calmer of the seas and they hadn't run into any nuisances below the waves.

Clementine reached inside the folds of her dress,   it was a fairly frilly dress with a slight bell bottom to it,  and withdrew a small sphere of metal with studs abound and a small white skull set on it's surface.

She pressed down on one of the studs and threw it through the water,  only getting a few meters due to the resistance and it started to sink for a moment before there was a  sudden thud,  a clank,  and the little ball expanded to become a large metal contraption.

It resembled an old industrial depth mine,   ready to explode at any moment.  But it was a deception,   and it's dark black and blue form would make it difficult to see at these depths.  Especially considering the lack of light.

It was of no concern to Clementine however,  and she swam to the pod that sustained itself,  maintaining it's elevation where it formed.

On the top of the pod, most people would undoubtedly miss it if they didn't know what to look for,  but Clementine pressed a hidden latch in the topmost stud and with a click,  the hatch was unlocked and water rushed in on it.

Clementine wasn't pulled,  she resisted quite easily especially with her barrier,   but the pod shuddered and dropped a few feet before picking itself back up,  stabilizing itself.

She nodded in approval,  proud of the contraption,  and swam through the small entry portal.   The opening was narrow,   but she squeezed in without too much trouble.   Larger people would have a hell of a time trying to squeeze in,  especially strong muscular men, she imagined.

Clementine tucked herself in,  rotating in the water to sit upright, having entered head first,  and closed the hatch.

She looked around the inside of the pod,  it was relatively roomy,  she had enough space to work with,  but at the same time it'd only fit maybe four people at most if they didn't mind the complete lack of privacy and constant contact with one another.

There were switches on the wall,  a variety of small basic controls mostly regarding the pumps to get all this water out of here.  But that wasn't a concern for Clementine.

Instead,  with the hatch closed,  Clementine held out her hands to her sides,  palms up and gathered concentrated amounts of radiation.   Two brilliant balls of energy formed there,  emitting heat as such to boil the water around it.

Slamming her hands together,  the spheres collided and with a burst an intense flare of radiation surged away,  but meeting the sealed interior of the pod it rebounded,   intensifying and heating the water to the point that it'd likely cook any other creatures that were in here.

To Clementine's eyes,  she could see the beautiful vivid marks of high radiation painting the pod with it's glory.   Beautiful,  magnificent radiation at such levels that it was a death sentence for the living to enter.

This radiation enveloped the pod,  infusing it's very being with this radiation and contaminating the water around it.   Already there was a cloud of radiation around the pod,  and as new water entered the area,  pushing old water out,   the cloud spread.

Eventually it's contamination would effect much of the sea,   and traces of it would be able to be detected much farther in minute amounts.  It wouldn't effect anyone so far away though,  but in the immediate sea in which Clementine swam it would kill many ocean going life,   mutate others,  and at the least make fish a very poor choice of food.

The water from the sea would be soaked up into the land,  and eventually get at plantlife along the coast.    Oh and the swimmers,  oh the swimmers.    Clementine shivered at the thought.   Give it a week,  give it a month,   hell give it a year.   Eventually,   these seas will be dangerous to tread.

Laughing,  filled with glee,   Clementine opened the hatch and left the pod,  closing the hatch behind her,   and mounted Stygil to be off to deliver more of these gifts of hers to the good little boys and girls of Fiore.
