Training Must Never Be Forgotten! (Ikuto and Rei) Empty Training Must Never Be Forgotten! (Ikuto and Rei)

    Post by Ikuto-san 3rd October 2013, 7:19 pm

It was a bright sunny morning, like any other morning in the land of Fiore. Everyone was doing there own thing, having fun. Among them was Ikuto and Rei, though, unlike the others that day, they did something that wasn't done in quite a while now. Back in the guild that morning, Ikuto had given a mysterious note to Rei, making sure that it was anonymous and kept that way. The note read:

    "Dear Rei,

Please meet me in the East Forest of Magnolia Town, as soon as possible. Many lives are at stake if you don't. That would include the life of someone from your guild, as it seems, Fairy Tail. If you do not want to see any carnage, now would be the best time to make haste.

    Sincerely,
    _________"

This was not only to assist a newbie in the guild, but to see that newbie's dedication for the guild along with its member. Being in Fairy Tail long enough, Ikuto knew that Fairy Tail was no guild. It was a family, where everyone was considered siblings. As they looked out for each other, assisted each other in any ways possible. This was a test, to see Rei's heart. His love for Fairy Tail, his love for...family. But mainly, Ikuto saw that the last job Rei went on was a simple job, requiring no brawls what-so-ever. Of all the jobs Ikuto have done, it probably was the worst of the worst, for that job contained no action at all! The very thought had annoyed Ikuto, although he didn't announce that to Rei, for the fear of losing a friend was great. So he walked himself towards the East Forest of Magnolia, hoping to surprise Rei when Rei found out Ikuto was there, instead of whatever he would think would be there. Ikuto was also thinking, trying to picture Rei's face at receiving the letter. Mad? Sad? Would he show it to Ebony? Would he...show it to...Ebony...?

"SHIT! I FORGOT ABOUT EBONY! NOO!"

At this point, Ikuto knew it was too late to go back and change directions, sure of it that Rei had already opened the letter.

"What will my excuse be? It was a joke? No way! Ebony would never accept that! Maybe I should say I did it as a way to train Rei? But no! Ebony is simply too...cruel..."

Ikuto sighed, pondering the very thought of him and Ebony. What would she do this time? Would she force him to clean up the guild daily, for a month's time? Maybe she would make him go on jobs with the newbies...of all people. Would she feed him tacos until he was full, to the point where even Ikuto, who ate nearly anything edible, was going to regurgitate? Ikuto's whole mood went 180 degrees in a turn of direction, he fell to the ground, hitting the hard grassy floor with his knees.

    "I'm...dead."

Rei received a mysterious letter filled with a lot of very disconcerting things. Things he could not ignore even if it was a prank no one threatened his guild! He made doubly sure that he had everything in order from his pack to his keys when he was sure that his things were in order he left his apartment and sprinted to the forest on the east side of town. The sun was high by the time he got there so that gave him an idea of what time it was now all he had to do was wait for this mysterious stranger. That was when he saw a familiar figure fall to his knees and shout as if he had made a grave mistake, Rei stepped behind Ikuto and cleared his throat just to let him know that he was there.

Rei stepped behind Ikuto and cleared his throat just to let him know that he was there. Ikuto turned around as fast as lightning! No, even faster. In a quick flash, it was as his face was simply shifting around, along with his body, of course. Ikuto stared at Rei, noticing that there wasn't a second figure besides him. A simple hello would've been said, but Ikuto wasn't sure if the guild master simply forced Rei to track down whoever did this or not, but then again, Rei didn't seem like one who would hide something from his friends. Ikuto sighed with relief, hoping that he was correct, rather than the other way around.

"Excuse me, Rei. Just for a quick second!"

With that being said, Ikuto made a wild mad dash around about a mile or so, just to check that Ebony wasn't hiding in the bushes or something. Within a second, he was back facing Rei. What to do? What to do? Did Rei suspect anything? Should the prank just be spilled out? But Ikuto's thoughts were interrupted by a slight sound, a voice that hasn't been heard from in a long time.

    "Ikuto? Who's the kid?"

From behind Ikuto, a cat of navy blue and black came out. He seemed to be levitating in the sky.

"Yoru, go back to sleep." a gave Yoru a little scratch behind the ears, the cat's weak spot.

Immediately, the feline fell down, crashing into the earth. But Ikuto didn't seemed to mind, for all he did was act like it has happened several million times before! Ikuto introduced Yoru to Rei, explaining that Yoru was an Exceed Ikuto met at the age of 5. They've been together since then and are more like brothers than what you would considered them as, master and pet. But with all attention on Rei, Ikuto asked a simple yet un-retortable question.

"You ready Rei? For a fight?"

In a second, all around them were monsters, from ogres to swamp monsters, rabid monkeys with knives to bandits of some sort. In all, there seemed to be 100 enemies. All that in mind, Ikuto took the first move. He didn't plan for this to happen from the start, yet it did. With just a S-Rank Spell, more than 90% of these things could be annihilated, but what fun would that be?

    "Light God's Drill!"

Black swirls formed, into a shape of a tornado, imitating that of a drill on Ikuto's hand. With this his overall physical powers would double. He ran up to the first group of bandits, simply giving them a nice beating to the head. With that, all six of them were down. But he wanted to get rid of more. But he couldn't hog all the fun, could he now?

    Enemies: 94 Left

Rei’s eyes widened in surprise and alarm as enemy upon enemy just appeared out of nowhere immediately he felt the impulse to run, but he stood his ground taking a breath then another and reached inside his pocket pulling out a ring of keys. Picking a gold one out he slashed the air. “Open gate of the white ram! Come forth Aries!” And in a swirl of pink a young girl appeared wearing a wool dress, her hair was pink and fluffed around the bottom, but the only way you could tell she wasn’t human was the curly horns on either side of her head. She looked nervously at all of the enemies surrounding them then she looked to Rei who nodded in approval. She nodded back at him and prepared to attack extending her arm to form a pink cloud of fluff. Aries hurled it toward the first monster and cried "Wool Shot."
