• Pointed Ears: One of two side effects that came from accidentally consuming an odd sort of fruit. Shortly after consuming it, Blaire's ears lengthened backwards, becoming pointed elfin ears instead of normal human ones.
  
  
• Fairy Wings: Typically the result of one's learned magic, Blaire gained a pair of emerald colored Fairy Wings shortly after entering puberty. It is believed that the reason for growing these is similar to why she has pointed ears.
  

Personality: When asked to describe a 'fairy', most people would name a few traits. Playful, childish, mischievous. Those same people would also be just as likely to point at Blaire and claim her as a perfect example. At heart, she is a good person, full of compassion and a deep desire to help people as much as she can. However fairly or not those particular traits are only ever acknowledged when attached to a person who is perceived as 'mature'. Childish is certainly a good descriptor for Blaire.

Always on the move and looking for something to do, she carries herself with energy befitting a fairy--or a child. If she could just have patience, perhaps the comparison wouldn't be so prevalent. But with a lack of patience and a penchant for her mood to swing, the badge of childishness is about as stuck to Blaire as it possibly could be. Her own disdain for the term has built a bit of a rebellious streak in the young girl, causing her to have a bit of a problem with 'orders' and following them, looking for loopholes wherever she can find them. However, this hasn't put a damper on her general happiness--or her extreme loyalty for the people she has thrown her chips in with.

She could certainly do with some maturing. But, Blaire has certainly grown into a young woman that most people would agree is at least someone who means well.



Likes:

• Fruit: Where most people's preference for sweet foods falls along the lines of junk food and candy, Blaire has a bit of a healthier habit. Fresh fruits of all walks of life will easily find a welcome home in Blaire's hands, as well as her stomach. From the common apple all the way to the more bitter grapefruit and the more exotic fruits--aside from those such as the legendarily foul smelling Durian.
  
  
• Heights: A large number of people develop vertigo or a phobia for heights at a young age. As it turns out, gaining the ability to fly as part of puberty has a way of killing that issue in it's bed. Blaire quite enjoys not only climbing or flying her way up to high places, but the views that come with being so high in the air.
  
  
• The Ocean: Truth be told, even Blaire herself couldn't give a reason for why she's always enjoyed the ocean. Unlike most people who look out upon the seemingly endless sea and fall into either boredom or an anxiety attack, Blaire finds excitement in it. Perhaps because she's never had to go on a properly long, boring voyage just yet.
  

Dislikes:

• Caverns/Caves: A more specific hatred that stems from the greater disdain for the underground in general, Blaire claims that she can feel her skin crawl whenever she walks through a 'stuffy old cave'. While she doesn't hate things that come from the underground such as gems, animals, or water? The act of walking through the things that lead down under the ground is something she's not the biggest fan of.
  
  
• Candy: The one thing that made her a real pariah as a child. While she does definitely enjoy sweet things, her complaint against candy is that it's 'sickeningly sweet'. Eating candy upsets her stomach quite a bit, for unknown reasons. Strangely, this doesn't appear to be the case with drinkable items that have the same amount of sugar, such as soft drinks.
  
  
• Condescension: Deep down, Blaire's only real desire is to be taken seriously. Too often, she's been ignored or dismissed because her personality is too 'childish' for people. To that end, there are few things that will set her off more effectively than being condescended to.
  

Motivations:

• Helping Others: Being of assistance is something that Blaire not only doesn't mind, but actively does her best to be capable of. Helping other people out helps her to keep busy, and often makes them more likely to take her seriously. Like her other motivations, this is the driving force behind it. It definitely helps that doing things for other people makes her feel like a good person.
  
  
• New Experiences: Everyone who has ever talked down to her has always claimed to have 'more experience' than her, and thus automatically know better. Well, the best way to refute those people is simply to go out and experience more things than them! Right?
  
  
• Self-Growth: While she doesn't believe herself to be a bad person, all of the people who have talked negatively about her attitude have managed to wiggle a bit further under her skin than even Blaire herself has realized. Of all of her motivations, the motivation to learn, to 'grow' as a person is the one that burns most fiercely in her chest.
  

Fears:

• Losing her Wings: While they haven't been a lifelong feature of her body, Blaire takes quite a bit of pride in her wings. Losing them would be as devastating to her as a normal person losing something like a hand or a foot. Along with that, the pain that would come with it is simply something she doesn't wish to experience.
  
  
• Losing her Family: While she doesn't always get along with them on the best terms, Blaire is well aware that she was very lucky to have a normal, well functioning family. Not everyone gets to say that they had so much, after all. As a result, her family members are all important to her in different ways. • Becoming a Coward: Running away. It's something that defenseless people are supposed to do. With the most defenseless ones being children. She isn't defenseless though. She certainly can fight.
