Description: Scarlet Calligraphy is a form of letter magic, allowing the user to write words or runes with their own blood for a wide variety of uses. The effects themselves vary from defensive and supportive options, to even damaging effects that can cause harm to those that the user views as an enemy, though its true power lies with restoration. Naturally, because the magic is inclined towards a more peaceful purpose, its practical usage in fights is quite limited, often relegating the user to more of a supportive role. The offensive aspects of the magic are, while limited, rather potent, though they often take a toll on both the physical and mental health of the user.
Volac, to put it lightly, well and truly hates his magic, viewing it as a horrific reminder of his family, and as a twisted, gruesome way of harnessing the powers that he was born with. He often refuses to utilize any of the limited offensive options that his magic offers, sticking almost exclusively with its defensive or medical applications.
