Born into a noble family based out of Hargeon town his mother and father were both mages of the Sabertooth guild. They were A and S rank respectively and loved each other greatly and eventually had a son, Vance Quin, and he inherited his father's last name. The Quin family was based off fishing exports and imports and selling of expensive fish and the like having a great influence in the area as well. However the Quin family started out as a mage family that earned its money slowly and eventually earned enough money to start the business. Vance Quin himself was born with a strange pair of eyes and incredible magical reserves. His father went back home to his father and requested that he help his grandson. His grandfather approved of it in the case that the boy be sent to train under his tutorage instead of his parents. Vance spent the first five years of his life in the Sabertooth guild learning and training with the others learning how to control his powers and always had a new pair of sunglasses made for him. When he was six however he was sent to work with his grandfather and said good bye to his family for now. His grandfather welcomed him into the mansion with a great feast and impressed the young boy with his skill in magic. The old man gave Vance lessons in business and magic alike. The old man despite being guild less was highly skilled and installed the boy with great abilities regarding controlling his strangely large amounts of magical energy and how to harness his raw power in his Void techniques. Airspace was rare among mages especially in the Quin's family history making Quin Airspace mage a highly wanted free applicant for a guild. But his grandfather would have nothing to do with it. His father had already convinced the old man to let the young man join the Sabertooth guild which was like a mantle for each Quin as they were very successful mages. He was tested by his grand father and he even learned how to use some of his grandfather’s personal spells like Uzai and Xaldi it made him proud to be a Quin. He eventually joined the Sabertooth Guild impressing their master with his dedication to his missions. He learned quickly and grew stronger forcing himself into harder and harder challenges. He only temporarily joined teams and when he did it went only decently well as his social skills left something to be desired. He however did his absolute best eventually his father taught him Kaisen which took him a full year to master. It was his best technique but then his grandfather taught him a very dangerous spell....Metsu. He learned how to sap mages strengths away from them allowing him to get rid of very powerful mages easy. But he while his grandfather painstakingly drilled him until he can use Metsu perfectly his Kaizen move he very rarely had to resort to that move. He used it to capture a highly dangerous S rank mage, not on a mission a chance encounter, and left him with next to no magical energy bringing him in promoted him to B rank which he found disgraceful after all the mage was S rank but the guild master argued that it was by surprise and no great challenge but he did do it so he was rewarded likewise. He quickly got over it and has been working on missions with his guild ever since. He has been living in a rather fancy apartment in the guild's local town, payed for by his grandfather, since joining the guild.
RP Sample: Vance ran through the streets dodging and weaving through enemy forces. He coughed hard and stopped only long enough to catch his breathe. But as he did so an enemy soldier tried to kill him with a battle axe. Vance reacted instinctively and pushed back the mage with a Uzai spell. He then followed with Zetsu knocking the man unconcious. After that he ran to join his guild mates as the city burned to ashs.
