Personality: Milo is a fairly short-tempered, feisty soul.  He can be quite arrogant and at times unhinged.  Milo is a strict hedonist who fights authority and all forms of rules.  While not quite an anarchist, he believes that laws restrict truly enjoying life to its fullest extent.  Often, Milo blends the line between justice and injustice due to his hedonistic beliefs, and can be ruthless, reckless and morally corrupt.  He prides himself for his experiences and worldliness, having traveled to many different regions and planets and experiencing first hand cultures and art.  He is patient when he wants to be and is prone to getting off track easily.  When he does work, he typically does so alone.  He does not make many friends out of fear of hurting and smothering them, or that his friends will eventually see him as the monster he believes himself to be.  Due to this, he has trust issues and can often be seen thinking aloud to himself.

In battle, Milo is a fierce competitor.  He is typically a mercenary for whatever employer pays the most, or hunts down his own targets for personal reasons. Although not an avid planner, he is quick to identify weaknesses and exploit them on the spot, or gather information during the heat of battle.  He is known to play somewhat dirty, utilizing his arena to his advantage.  He will use magic in a way that exploits opponents’ mental instabilities or traumas, or cause massive pain.  His frail appearing frame, however, gives away his biggest weakness.  Despite his great precision and speed, he is not a strong physical fighter.  He has an incredibly high tolerance for pain and torture, and can be persuasive to his captors.  He is very well spoken, and has a raspy, smoker-like voice and has a poetic way with words.

Likes:

• Gambling: Milo is constantly taking risks and dabbling in games.  He believes high stakes add a necessary flare to life.
  
• Bending rules: More often than not, Milo challenges authority and pushes the envelop on law, especially laws that are already backed by controversy and rebelled against.
  
• Art: Milo has a greater appreciation and affinity for complex and abstract art, as well as plays and classical music.  He has great pride in his taste.
  
• 'Earthly pleasures': Although he is a mage, Milo enjoys partaking in local spirituals and seances.  He also tends to relish in excess food and drink at times.
  

Dislikes:

• Control: Milo generally detests rules and authority.  Such strictures prevent him from relishing in the pleasures of life.
  
• Planning: A very 'go-with-the-flow' type of person, Milo prefers to live in the moment and generally avoids thinking ahead.
  
• Settlement: Constantly on the run, Milo never stays in one place for more than a year unless absolutely necessary.  He refuses to be tied down by any one person or place.
  

Motivations:

• Fun: More than anything, Milo is a hedonist, and wants nothing more out of life than to enjoy and experience the pleasures of living.
  
• Exploration: Milo is an avid traveler, not just within the bounds of earthland, but between other planets, the skies, and the oceans.
  
• Experience: Although he is considerably unhinged, Milo holds knowledge and wisdom above all.  Among his travels, his main goal is to learn about the places he travels to and the cultures within.
  

Fears:

• Persecution: Milo fears being pursued by the past, whether it be emotionally or by authority.  Part of his motivation for his constant travels is to escape his preexisting trauma and crime.
  
• Retirement: Milo fears being severely injured and put out of commision, or forced to retire.  Such an event would strip him of purpose and cause him to lose his mind.
  
• Eternity: One of Milo’s greatest fears is reaching the end of his life.  He fears growing old and frail and weak, and would rather die young and leave a beautiful corpse than otherwise.

Appearance: Milo is a tall, sharply featured young man with lightning shaped scars on his torso.  He has a noticeable tick, expressed by a slight stutter every few sentences, or a twitch in his right arm and leg.  When not in battle, he wears a retro, multicolored, neon bubble jacket and a sleeveless black shirt underneath, as well as ill-fitting jeans and high tops.  In battle, he dons a skintight, dark purple suit that covers his entire body and bare feet, as well the phantom of the opera’s mask.
