Honing her Skills Empty Honing her Skills

Post by Silvia 27th November 2019, 3:21 pm

After her last mission, Silvia realized that she was going to have to hone her skills. This didn't necessarily mean learning new spells, but instead, making her old ones stronger. She knew for a fact that the people she would be killing, were going to get a whole lot stronger. So, she knew that she'd have to start mastering the spells she had, before she could form new ones. The east forest was the perfect place for that. She had heard of many mages practicing there, using the trees as targets. There weren't really ever too many people around, because people tried to stay away from others practicing. That meant that the area she had claimed would be her's.

Firstly though, she would take a moment to play around the woods, trying to get her childlike spirit to come up. There were too many times where she couldn't do it, because people were watching. It wasn't really proper for a girl her age to act the way she wanted to. So, she had to take all the time she could get. With Selena wrapped in her arms, she ran around the trees laughing aloud. She loved the way the wind moved through her hair, as the grass beneath her crinkled beneath her feet. The entire vibe of the area was perfect. So, as she ran around, she formed in her hand a thread of water.

As she hopped, she threw the thread into the sky. With this, rain started falling down from where the thread had created a storm cloud. Now, as the rain dawned upon her, she opened her mouth, refreshing every inch of her body. She was feeling rejuvenated by both the rain, and the fun she was having. For the first time in a while, she truly felt alive. So, she looked up into the sky with hope, saying to Selena, "See Selena, this is the world we can have once we finish our task together. I'm happy that you'll be there every step of the way."

With that, she felt a pulse of magic coming from the doll, knowing that it was agreeing with her. Knowing that she still had more training to do, she created a thread of earth in her right hand, sending it into the ground right in front of her. She knew that the wall was strong, but she had faith in her spells. So, with a new amount of energy from the storm, she created a a ball of water threads in her right hand, a spell that she had trained for a while. As she concentrated on the ball, she focused on every single thread within the ball, and sent them out. This created a huge tsunami of water strings, going straight towards the wall. As it did, all the threads crashed into it, creating a huge explosion. Though, this explosion of water didn't destroy the wall completely. No, it seemed like it had one more hit left in it before it fell.

So, with a huge smile on her face, she looked at Selena, and said to her, "Ready for a wild ride Selena?" Without even waiting for a response, she took Selena, and slid through the puddles left behind by the tsunami, and slammed right into the wall. As she did this, the wall broke into dust. Feeling accomplished with herself, Silvia looked at the area where the wall used to be, and squeeled into the sky, falling down into the ground behind her. With mud all over her clothes, and rain pouring down on her, Silvia smiled a huge smile.
