They were too busy with making each other’s life sour that they rarely took interest in their young child only to use her in their game to hurt the other. Kaja found herself many a time in the crossfire which did little good to her mental and physical health. She found solace in electronics and computers and was able to create a robot cat at a young age; she showed it to her parents, only to have her father smash her creation to smithereens against the wall. She had never been able to repair or recreate her creation after that, as she had to find her parts from the garbage cans and garbage dumps. At some point, she started to hear voices and was quick to learn that they were in her mind and not real, yet they held sway over her. A couple of voices grew dominant and forced her into a terrible thing, they had convinced her to murder her parents; and so, it was done. After that, she lived in the streets and survived on thieving. She kept on working on her technical creations, she greatly improved her skills and creations by the purchase and theft of better parts. She eventually invented nanoparticles which she could use to ‘print’ all kinds of great machinery and weapons, she ended up using those as an assassin; which she became as an adolescent and started to replace body parts with cybernetic implants.

Kaja has two personalities really, her true self (Kaja Jelen) and her assassin self (Helix). Her true self is deeply scarred by her experience early in life. She is shy and mostly feels down. Working on her cyber projects brings her some joy but she is generally not energetic and pities herself. She prefers to be alone and seems to avoid most people thoughts there is something nagging at her; a hole in her life that seeks to be filled, could it be that she needs friends or a significant other? Her assassin self stands in stark contrast to her true self, not only in appearance but also in behaviour. Helix is energetic and sure of herself, thoughts still not to keen on company; she is much better at handling it. She is also happier and will smile and tease with people when it is appropriate as she can also be very serious when needed. Kaja would say that Helix is just a play, a rouse to hide her true identity, however deep down she knows that she aspires to be like Helix and wants to break her shackles that keep her in darkness.

• Droids – Droids are great companions, they don’t talk and if they can, then you can simply tell them to mute themselves. So convenient.
  
• Modern Technology – Kaja has a love for all modern technologies and frowns upon the ‘medieval’ garbage that is still used to this day, what a waste of efficiency. Thoughts she is a bit of a hypocrite, she has respect for the Midi-Warriors called the samurai and enjoys their craft of arms and armour.
  
• Firearms – Firearms have their charm, they can be elegant looking or be very powerful; a great tool for an assassin and there is always something that suits a specific job.
  
• Completion – Kaja wants to finish something, she won’t stop with a project until it is finished, or turns into failure.
  

Dislikes:

• Haste – Haste is not unwise, you will inevitably make mistakes that could be avoided if you took a calculating stance and were patient.
  
• Incompetence – People that fail the most simple tasks are a nuisance and worthless in her eyes.
  
• Abuse – She has experienced abuse as a child and can’t stand it, she will intervene if she witnesses it.

A couple of voices grew dominant and forced her into a terrible thing, they had convinced her to murder her parents; and so, it was done. After that, she lived in the streets and survived on thieving. She kept on working on her technical creations, she greatly improved her skills and creations by the purchase and theft of better parts. She eventually invented nanoparticles which she could use to ‘print’ all kinds of great machinery and weapons, she ended up using those as an assassin; which she became as an adolescent and started to replace body parts with cybernetic implants.

Kaja has two personalities really, her true self (Kaja Jelen) and her assassin self (Helix). Her true self is deeply scarred by her experience early in life. She is shy and mostly feels down. Working on her cyber projects brings her some joy but she is generally not energetic and pities herself. She prefers to be alone and seems to avoid most people thoughts there is something nagging at her; a hole in her life that seeks to be filled, could it be that she needs friends or a significant other? Her assassin self stands in stark contrast to her true self, not only in appearance but also in behaviour. Helix is energetic and sure of herself, thoughts still not to keen on company; she is much better at handling it. She is also happier and will smile and tease with people when it is appropriate as she can also be very serious when needed. Kaja would say that Helix is just a play, a rouse to hide her true identity, however deep down she knows that she aspires to be like Helix and wants to break her shackles that keep her in darkness.

She tries to find as much out about her opponents before she confronts them, this sometimes means that she is on recon for days before she pops the brain of her target. Helix is still precise in her attacks during combat, but she does admit that it’s better to make a mess than die. She prefers to work alone but sometimes she works with others on a job and then she cautions for her own safety and not for the other. She is indifferent on who leads, it’s likely that she would follow her own plan anyway.

Likes:

• Droids – Droids are great companions, they don’t talk and if they can, then you can simply tell them to mute themselves. So convenient.
  
• Modern Technology – Kaja has a love for all modern technologies and frowns upon the ‘medieval’ garbage that is still used to this day, what a waste of efficiency. Thoughts she is a bit of a hypocrite, she has respect for the Midi-Warriors called the samurai and enjoys their craft of arms and armour.
  
• Firearms – Firearms have their charm, they can be elegant looking or be very powerful; a great tool for an assassin and there is always something that suits a specific job.
  
• Completion – Kaja wants to finish something, she won’t stop with a project until it is finished, or turns into failure.
  

Dislikes:

• Haste – Haste is not unwise, you will inevitably make mistakes that could be avoided if you took a calculating stance and were patient.
  
• Incompetence – People that fail the most simple tasks are a nuisance and worthless in her eyes.
  
• Abuse – She has experienced abuse as a child and can’t stand it, she will intervene if she witnesses it.
  
• Loneliness – The hole in her, the loneliness, is a dark pit that needs filling.
  

Motivations:

• Filling the Void – There is a void within her, of loneliness, that she seeks to fill.
  
• Affluence – Kaja has lived her life in poverty and aspires to live in luxury the rest of her life.
  
• Perfection – Everything to be efficient and perfect, it simply must.
  

Fears:

• Imperfection – How can people stand a tilted painting, an inefficiency in a line of coding or a mistake during a job?
  
• Her Parents – Even thoughts her parents are dead, they still haunt her mind.
  
• The Voices – The voices that drove her to the dark side, that talk her down; they are shackles that imprison her and control her.
  
• Out of Control – Kaja want to be in control of her own destiny and does not want to be dictated by anyone; not her voices nor others, she wants to make the choices for herself.
