"W-Where...am i? ....Why does it feel like...like im floating? Whats...going?" Caelums eyes slowly fluttered opened as her green optics looked around the area as she felt like she was free floating in the middle of a moonlit void, small lines of moonlight penetrated the void as she adjusted her eyes to look around the area. She felt like she was in peace...no fear no anxiety...it just felt nice...what was this place and why was she here anyways?

As she stood there in the void images flashed in the darkness...images of Caelum, while with her daughter, Shizuka, her best friend Astrid, her companion Bastet, hell even all of her guild mates. soon the scenery frizzed and flickered through the area before it came to rest on a medow...moon light gently cascaded down from the starry night, as the meadow looked almost a like a blue green colored grass as you saw flashing fireflies blinking through the air. Caelum felt the ground under her feet as she looked around and soon a woman at the edge of the lake. She had bright blue hair, like the sky, and was dressed in a what looked to be white dress that was specially tailored to her as she was watching the water as she was sat at its edge seemingly concentrated on something there but what Caelum could not tell...maybe it was cause she was lost in thought maybe, thats what Caelum suspected.

Unleash the Vortex (Job with Astrid) Fire-emblem-fates

That was until that woman would look up as she slowly looked up at her and smiled but held out her hand and waved to her beckoning to her as she had a soft smile curled across her face. Caelum couldnt help but come over as she would sit beside her and dip her feet into the water just like the woman "W-Why am i here? And Who are you? What even is this place?" She asked multiple questions as the woman would giggle lightly while she laid a hand on Caelums hand, she then placed a finger over her lips like she motioning to Caelum to be quiet, Caelum soon quit talking and was quiet as she would witness lights begin to dance from the water along with the fireflies into the starry night sky before the woman started talking "Sweetie, what im gonna tell you is very important ok so listen closely...there is an island that is Divided, you must get there and uncover the truth and release it... This threw Caelum off a bit as she then asked "Wait ok but who are you and what truth is to be released??"

The woman smiled again before she caressed her cheek with her right hand before looking at Caelums face "I can't tell you much ok? your friend Zebii knows more then what i can tell you..." she trailed off as she stood up taking her feet out the water before she started to walk away to which she was caught by Caelum, who wanted to know more and had questions all in her eyes like a curious child, This mad the woman sigh as she looked at Caelum before she looked at the sky seeing that the sun was coming up before looking at her.

Unleash the Vortex (Job with Astrid) Azura

"Remember what i said...and think back, i have met you before in a different way, the island is divided and you will find whats there to be found ok...Zebii knows more and take only someone you trust, don't take Shizuka at all...my time is up but i will see you again very soon"

And with that the world around them, the imagery and the colors and the sounds disappeared before Caelum gasped awake in her bed as she looked around in a cold sweat seeing Bastet was awake and in the kitchen cooking. A Few minutes past as Caelum was now in the kitchen eating with a piece of paper in front of her, she pondered for a second Bastet watched her but said nothing as she knew Caelum was in a hard thought and soon Caelum would call Zebii in as a puff of pink smoke and soon the dragon-like girl popped in as she was sitting in her own chair as she smiled "Good morning! how may i help you?" Caelum and Bastet were greeted by the friendly guardian as Caelum soon began to tell her about the dream and how this woman told her all of this, Bastet was quite surprised but Zebii sighed and shook her head "Well, heres the thing...Skyris is at this island, the woman basically was telling you that shes there...theres more but i cant tell you guys till you all get to the island...i suggest you get their soon and tell your friend whoever it is thats coming, that itll be a long journey so bring a few things." Caelum stopped and thought before she stood up and started getting ready, Bastet and Zebii also started packing bags too as Caelum sent a message to a certain White Dragon Slayer named Astrid Foss to meet her at Hargeon Port and the whole reason why....this was gonna be a crazy trip to the island that this woman had told her about and to find what this woman had hinted at, and that would be the Vortex herself Skyris.

This all sounded more like some sort of bad drug trip. Well, at least to Astrid. Caelum didn't make too much sense in her letter. Something about a vortex and a 'Skyris' person. She was so all over the place with this weird and complicated story that Astrid didn't even know what she was trying to tell her.
There were many things that had changed since she first joined Black Rose in her early years. After rejoining? She was coming to the realization that while some things may change, others did not. Caelum's personality was one of those things.

It was a rather sunny day, but seeing as how it was only the beginning of fall they would have a lot longer to go before the cold weather settled in. Ports were not an usual sight for Astrid. Before she became a slayer, she would use ships regularly go get from place to place. However, with her sickness to motion upon learning the magic, they were not something the saint liked to go on. In fact, she actively avoided it. The elf would be lying, if she didn't say she envied the air slayer slightly that she could go on vehicles and modes of transportation without even feeling woozy. All slayers were supposed to be effected by the sickness, and yet Caelum was not. Something about air slayers and how the air protected them, she didn't know. But either way it was a major setback when Caelum wanted to go on and boat and Astrid did not. Caelum's powers let her normally heal Astrid's sickness for a good while anyway, so it wasn't too big of a deal this time. The only big deal, was why exactly they were doing this.

The silver streak famously known as Astrid Foss came to an immediate stop upon the busy and bustling docks of Hargeon. She had not packed anything, unlike her friends. She found to pack bags was kind of a useless thing sometimes, seeing as how the clients normally gave them everything they needed to make sure their mission went as smoothly as possible. If she had one of those fancy pocket dimension things everyone else seemed to have, maybe she would conciser it more often. But seeing as how she didn't even understand the letter in the first place she figured it would be fine. As long as she had light, she had all the food she needed.
Astrid stood in the middle of the busy dock with her hands upon her hips, looking around for the green haired slayer. The last time she was on a dock so when she helped Haru kill that Undine creature. She wondered how the boy was doing now and if he learned to conquer that rage inside of him. She hadn't heard or seen anything of him for a while, so it was a bit unsettling. But judging from his power, he could take care of himself.
She took a deep breath in, using her slayer senses to scent the air for her fellow slayer. A mess of smells hit her nose and the back of her throat all at once. It was a little overwhelming, given the strong salty sea scent and the smell of all the other people, but the smell of clean air and freshly cut grass was hard to miss among all the more... Rather foul smells. She peered over the people, as best as she could given her size, seeing a flash of green near the edges of the docks. There she was.
Walking forward Astrid shuffled her way through the working people, dodging them quite quickly with her fast reflexes until she came up to her old friend.

A smile turned the edges of her lips whens he stopped just before her, looking up to the taller woman.
"Alright, here i am. Though, honestly you're going to have to explain everything to me again. That letter you wrote kind of..." she paused, an expression of unsureness taking over her face, trying to figure out how to put this nicely. "... Didn't make any sense at all."

Well to be honest Caelum didnt know what to make of the dream except go here do this and possibly help someone that was mainly it besides what Zebbi said what was gonna be needed to be done. "Heh umm sorry i only know what this weird dream and what Zebbi told me...apparently Skyris you know the dragon that taught me my magic? Shes stuck on this Island and the clue that i had was that its divided, well looking at the map i found only one place, its Divide Island...if thats the case Astrid...i can finally meet dragon that taught me everything, ive never gotten to do that and i wanna make sure she stays around" Caelum had said as she held up her hand smiled a bit before she walked over to Astrid and got her in a playful headlock "So thats where we are going, Divide Island, thats why i said get some stuff if ya need it like some food and such cause its gonna be quite a boat ride...and before ya say it yes i know we can fly...but from what i hear its uncharted really and nobody knows what to expect, so id rather us take a boat to it and then figure out where to go from there"

Caelum was excited as she ever has been, Zebbi and Bastet could tell and probably Astrid too. Zebbi though has met Astrid as she walked over with her bright pink hair and purplish horns as she smiled waving her hand showing off her sharp teeth "Hellooooo~ Im Zebbi, Caelums summoned Guardian, i come to her with Skyris's blessing...you must Astrid? I've heard about ya apparently you learned the Light Dragon Slaying magic from the Light Dragon? It's nice meeting you" she bowed to her showing respect to her as Bastete waved to her as well, they both knew each other from many times before so she came off the dock with her bag across her shoulder as she watched the others.

Soon something hit Caelum and she blinked "Oh Damn! i completely forgot to give you your medicine! That way your not sick from the boat ride" The green haired dragon slayer smiled as she turned Astrid to her as she planted her lips on the forehead of her silver haired dragon slayer friend as she would feel a calm gentle soothing air wash over her as Caelum was relieving Astrid of motion sickness for the time being as she slowly pulled back and smiled brightly with a slight blush on her face"There we go! hope that makes you feel better, now lets get to Divide Island"

She could... Finally meet the dragon that had taught her everything? Something about that didn't quite make sense to the girl. Of course, now that Caelum explained everything to her in person most of it made sense. She wanted to go to Divide Island to find the dragon that taught her wind magic. Which, in of itself is fine. But how did it make sense that she trained and learned from the dragon, only to have never met her before? The elf still held her rather baffled look, even after her friend had explained everything. "... Huh? But how could you not have met- GAH!"
Though, before she could ask Caelum decided to hook her arm around her head and put her into a headlock.
Not being too big of a fan of the sudden restriction to her the elf whined, verbally disapproving of the action. With her lips pouted out she grabbed onto Caelum's arms, attempting to pry them off of her. But thankfully when this strange character approached the fellow slayer released her. Astrid let out a sigh, catching herself before looking upon this strange person. A definite dragonish girl, with pink hair, sharp teeth, and a pointed tail. Apparently, a guardian to Caelum.
... What exactly had she missed since her trip to Terasu? Seriously, this was all a lot to take in. First Caelum found her missing dragon trainer, and now she had a guardian? She would have a lot to ask on their way there.
Not wanting to be rude, though a little surprised and baffled by everything, Astrid returned her bow.
"Ah, yes. That is all correct. It's nice to meet you too."
Turning to face Caelum once again the slayer's words brought a little bit of comfort to the somewhat overwhelmed girl. Ah, good. So she was going to get something for her motion sickness. At least she wouldn't have to worry about that. No running of puking for her today, thankfully. One of the upsides to taking jobs with Caelum, she was always guaranteed to be healed. Being somewhat with a limited amount of support, it was nice to team up with someone who wasn't limited.

... Which, was why when Caelum got a little bit too close to her, Astrid was slightly concerned. She stood in front of her for a moment, getting so close their noses almost touched. It made the saint a little nervous, someone being so close to her. The silvernette backed up slightly, her eye darting to the side. But then Caelum kissed the top of her head. Shock flooded into the elf's body like electricity, the smooched area tingling. Her cheeks lit up a rosy red, her mouth agape in awe.
"W-W-W-W-W-What w-was th-that f-for?" she stumbled out through babbling lips, using her hands to clasp onto her forehead. Was that the medicine? She did feel better, somewhat more relaxed than before. But still, even a sky dragon's medicine couldn't cure Astrid's sensitivity to actions such as that, even if they were meant in a friendly manner. Perhaps, if this was a while back the girl would have thought nothing of it. But with these weird feeling inside of, the kind she thought all this time were so bad, this basically caused her mind to implode onto itself.
