    Job Description: https://www.fairytail-rp.com/t29649-scavenger-hunt

'Now remember you only have 5 hours to do this in and you must find all 10' Those had been the parting words of the organiser of The Hunt. They were all worried it would be too difficult to complete within the limit of 5 hours and it was Arghasts' job to prove them wrong.
He looked down at his list of items to find.
A purple flower with 4 petals
A timepiece which never sees the sun
The place trains cross but never meet
    A ticket that goes nowhere
    A red umbrella unclaimed
    The sweetest of trains
    Where trains get their brakes
A light that travels but never journeys
The brothers that sing out in metal tongues
    The shoe that talks

All he had to do was find them and write down where he found them.

Aghast took a look around him to see if he could spot any flower beds or flower arrangements in the vicinity so that he could scratch off the purple flower part of the list. Seeing only the flower beds hanging underneath the window sills of peoples houses he set off in search of a park area which may have flower beds if their own, Arghast didn't want to seem like he was trying to spy on anyone after all. The thought that that could happen if he was careless enough made him blush a little but he soon shook it off and set off in what he hoped was the direction of a park.
On his way there he passed by a shoe seller who was selling some curious looking shoes. He looked more closely at the shop and found the sign beneath the curious things.
'Flip flops... Huh why are they called those I wonder?' He murmured to himself before he shook his head and looked up at the clock tower to check his time. He noticed that the clock tower was still in shade, it was the time however that took his attention more.
'Ah I've already wasted 40 minutes just looking for this flower' He lamented to himself. He had worked out that with the time allotted to him he should really be finding 1 item very half hour.
'Deep breath' He thought to himself. 'There's still time and you may find a couple of these together. Just find an avenue that leads to the station and see if you can find a flower on the way if not leave it until last.'
Nodding to himself Arghast found the nearest floweriest avenue he could that also lead to the station. He figured that with Oshibana being centred around a train station most of the clues on the hunt could be solved there.

As he walked he noticed the crossing was coming up, it was quite a harmonious piece of engineering that allowed trains to cross each others pat-
Arghast stopped and slowly looked at his list.
'The place trains cross but never meet... That must be here!' He hurriedly scribbled down the place looking at the street signs for a precise location.

Buoyed up by his first find Arghast began to feel more confident about this endeavour.

He spent the next hour scouring every flower bed for a purple flower with 4 petals and though he found plenty with 5 he found none with just 4.
Determined not to let this drag him down again Arghast squared his shoulders and looked up at the clock again, he had to squint to see it though as it was still hidden by shadows.
'Over an hour and a half used up already. Hmmm how about changing tack.' Arghast decided to go into the station itself to see if inspiration would strike.

Upon entering and taking a look around he decided that looking at all the signs he could see may yield a decent enough result.
Aside from all the platform signs he found himself by the lost and found box office. Intrigued in spite of himself he decided to take a look. Asking the tired looking clerk at the desk what they had he produced a glove missing a finger, a shoe with no laces, a pretty nice looking watch and a red umbrella.

Having already solved one clue this one came easily to Arghast and he quickly thanked the office clerk, who slowly put the items away looking a little bit annoyed that yet again nothing had been claimed. He moved away from the desk and quickly wrote down 'Lost property office' next to the red umbrella unclaimed clue.

As he watched the trains coming in and leaving after taking a rest on a nearby bench to gather his thoughts, he noticed that one train in particular had quite a large light. It occurred to him that the light that travelled but never journeyed might be that light. Unsure he gave a small shrug and wrote that down next to the appropriate clue. He could always amend it later if he needed to.

Studying the list he realised he was halfway through his time but not even that much through the list. He could feel himself starting to get annoyed, why were clues always so cryptic?.

Just as he was about to get up he noticed someone going past wearing those flip flops and found it funny how they seemed to talk to the world around them when viewed from the back as someone walked...
Arghast chucked to himself as he tried to remember where the flip flop shop has been, realising that flip flops were more than likely the shoes that talked.
'Alright almost half way this can be done I just need to be more observant of the things I see.'

Next to check out was the ticket office as that was the last office that he could see nearby. Arghast walked over the booth and wondered what a 'ticket that goes nowhere' would look like. No ideas struck him so he decided to go up to the office and see what destinations where listed.
The ticket officer noticed him looking and asked 'Looking for anything in particular or just browsing?' raising an eyebrow at Arghast.
'Oh Um no I was just looking to see if nowhere was here but I cant see it... Um sorry to have bothered you sir.' Arghast was unsure if he was allowed to involve officials in the hunt so he backed away quickly, realising a small queue had built up behind him.
As he backed off he spotted a ticket on the ledge running around the outside of the ticket office. Picking it up he kept out of the way of the people in the queue and examined it.
'Blank? But wh-' And it dawned on him that a blank ticket certainly would go nowhere, noting it down he replaced the ticket where he found it and strode back to the platform area.
He was still determined to finish this but where to look next?
Scanning his list he found that with a lot less thinking than he thought he'd need he could figure out that where trains got their brakes would be a brake car and, armed with that knowledge, soon found the sidings where they were kept.

'This is taking longer than I thought.' Arghast thought to himself. He looked up at the clock tower again to check the time.
'Hmmm still in shade, could it be?' Again Arghasts was surprised at how complex these clues had sounded to begin with but now that he had unravelled a few the rest were starting to fall into place as well. Smirking to himself he wrote down clock tower next to the' timepiece which never sees the sun.'

With only three items left to go Arghast thought he had a pretty decent chance of finishing this within the time he was set. Of course one of those items was the ever elusive flower with 4 petals but he would get to that last.

Getting up to leave the station the bells within the clock tower began to chine the hour, set above the clock itself they caught the sun as they swung glinting gold in the afternoon light.

Arghast knew that the bells produced the sound by swinging and hitting a 'tongue' that was set to swing counter to the bell within it.
'That would be the brothers with metal tongues then, I had wondered how I would go about checking people's tongues.' He chuckled at himself for having taken some of these clues a bit too literally.

Arghast decided that he had gotten all he could from the station and so decided that he should check out the high street shops and see whether he could glean anything there.
It wasn't too long down the cobbled street until he stopped outside of a sweet shop. Looking in Arghast couldn't quite figure out the allure to having so much sugar all at once it seemed like a brilliant way to get a headache but little else. He was about to move on when he spotted that they had little train shaped sweets which sat on little sweet tracks.
Shaking his head in wry amusement he marked down the sweetest train and spared one final glance at the clock.

He had a little over an hour left and just had that poxy flower to find. Arghast set out for scowling and walking like a man on a mission he barely noticed the civilians which scattered from his path as he desperately tried to find this flower.
Belatedly he realised that the local florists may have been a better place to start and ran there as quick as he could.

Entering the florists he saw it immediately, a bunch of bright red flowers in a vase took pride of place on the counter top, each with 3 large and silky looking petals. In the centre of them though was a large purple flower with bright yellow stamen and 5 very furry looking petals.
Arghast triumphantly noted this down before heading back to the organisers before the time ran out, leaving a very confused florist stood by the counter to wonder why someone would burst in like that only to gaze lovingly at a flower and then leave.

Returning to the Hunt organisers he informed them that whilst the objects were difficult for him to find he was sure that others would find it less difficult than he and still have fun.
