- Games Are Life: Whether it be a difficult game of chess or a simple toss of a coin, any activity that is considered a game will entertain Nathaniel without a doubt.
- Gamble Away: Although Nathaniel may be a little too attached to gambling, it doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. Especially if he never loses in the first place.
- Strategy and Tactics: Nathaniel is an amazing tactician and a great leader. He enjoys creating plans and strategies when confronted with a dangerous creature or other wizards, though sometimes he just treats it as another puzzle instead of a life or death situation.
- A Little Fighting Here and There: Though Nathaniel tends to attempt to take a pacifist approach to most problems, he won't deny that if it comes down to fight, he enjoys them a lot more than most people do.
Dislikes:
- I'm Not Ready: Since Nathaniel is an avid gamer, he always takes the necessary precautions to be one step ahead of everyone else. When he isn't capable of that, he feels as if he isn't bringing out his full potential and gets annoyed with himself.
- Injustice: Although Nathaniel may not seem like it at first glance, he has a very strong sense of justice. He may not always carry out his justice in the most direct approach and tends to find his own way of demonstrating it. Though he never maims or kills others.
- Too Many People, Get Me Out: Never one to be out on the busy street, Nathaniel hates being near large crowds. He'd rather not be in a place where it's too chaotic for him to have even a semblance of control.
- Where Did Everyone Go: Even though Nathaniel hates large crowds, he hates being alone even more. He is usually seen with at least one of his other guildmates during the day and never really goes home except to eat, sleep, and poop.

- I Need To Know Why: One thing that is always on Nathaniel's mind is his own conscience. After an incident as a child where his best friend's life was taken so that he may live, he always felt compelled to see how much of himself was really himself.

- Losing Ones He Cares About: A fear that will always remain with Nathaniel is the fear of losing those close to him. Ever since the incident where his best friend gave her life to save his own, he's been afraid of losing those close to him.
- Don't Drag Me Down: The reason Nathaniel has a fear of deep water is that when he was a child, he was at the beach once. He and his friends were playing in the water when a monster grabbed him by the leg and dragged him underwater. If it weren't for the fact that a wizard was on vacation and right there, Nathaniel probably would have died.
- Get That Snail Away From Me: Nathaniel is deathly afraid of snails. They are probably the thing he fears most besides losing loved ones. No one knows why Nathaniel is afraid of snails, they just know that it's a good laugh.
