It had been around a week since Ruvel had been sent to deliver something to the arena where the grand magic games where annually held. Ruvel had never heard of the tournament before, but that wasn't exactly hard to imagine if you knew the past of the youth. When he had completed the task he had been given he got in contact with Alisha, this was to ask if he could remain in the city a while longer. Alisha gave her blessing and would of course let the CEO of the trading company know where the one he had taken an interest in was so he wouldn't worry. She knew that Cirven had a good heart and would try and help anyone, but at the same time he was doing things for the strange youth that he had never done for any other member so she had questions but knew better than to ask. She knew that things would come to light in their own time and pushing would only cause them both to pull back.

He had been there for three days thus far and had been staying at the back of the outpost of the trading company within Crocus. They had offered him a room inside, at one of their homes and even within a hotel each evening and each evening he respectfully declined. The manager of the outpost finally got in touch with the company's headquarters about a strange youth that slept outside like a homeless person. He was met with a chuckle and told that they must have met Ruvel, not to worry he was a strange one as he done the same thing there but he done everything requested for him; that and the owner had took a special interest in him so just to leave him be, he'd eventually return back home. Ruvel heard the conversation and it made him feel like he had pestered them with how he was but it wasn't exactly like he could change a lifetime of how he had lived.

As dawn started to rise he sat up looking over the sky, he only remembered one other time where the morning sky looked as if it was burning and he knew it was a very bad omen. Standing he moved to the mess hall and grabbed a glass of water to drink, it was the same every morning the people who tended the mess hall offering him food saying he had to put some weight on. Each morning he declined their offer and just drank the water before clearing up after himself and heading out. He was unsure what he would find out about to day but the burning sky riddled his mind as to what could go wrong and for who the dark omen was for.

It had been quite awhile since the celestial spirit mage had went to Crocus. In fact he couldn't even remember the time he had went to Crocus, which is a bit weird for him to forget. He started to pack up at his residency and take some water and food to take to Crocus, mostly so when he walks over to Crocus he wouldn't end up starving or getting dehydrated on the way.As he packed up at his residency his exceed flew to him and looked at what he was doing before starting to ask what he was going to do today."What are you doing? Are you going to leave me here again? Are you looking for someone to have a relationship with?" The small black exceed asked,he kept on adding on more questions after this."Yes i am going out today but that does not mean i'm going to be looking for a relationship" He replied back to his exceed's questions."Be safe and you better not make any mess here while i'm gone" He scolded the exceed, since most of the time while he's gone his cat goes on a rampage and messes the houses interior up.After packing up his food and water into a small pack he went to the entrance of the house and told his cat to be safe and not to do anything reckless. He walked out the door and held out his iLac for the directions to Crocus.

A couple hours after this he finally had reached the giant city,Crocus.A magnificent sight it was,he started to walk into the city and he saw lots of people walking around."What a beautiful city" He said to himself as he wandered around. He wanted to know more about the city but all he knew was that the Grand Magic Games were hosted in this very city, which is pretty awesome to him.He tried looking around fro the arena it was placed at.He continued to walk around checking out the various shops along the way as well

Ruvel continued to walk around the town becoming more and more accustomed to the area "Who needs a map when you can get lost and try and find your way back" he chuckled to himself, it had been working for him so far so thought nothing of getting lost. He merely seen it as another way of learning and challenging his memory and analytical skills, the burning sky of the sunrise was still on his mind however. "Perhaps it's not an ill omen but just an unusually red sun this morning that hit off the water" he tried to look things on the bright side at least for now since it didn't seem like there was anything to worry about for himself or anyone he knew. It seemed however that fate had a funny sense of humour as he bumped into another in the streets only to stumble back a few steps.

"O-oh, I am sorry..." he found his balance and moved forward to make sure the other was alright as was proper manners "I was in a world of my own" he said with a nervous grin "My name is Ruvel, I work for West Fiore Trading Company and you are?" he looked at man allowing him to get his own bearings, he didn't mind to much if he didn't answer him given he had been rude and bumped into the other as he hadn't been paying attention to his surroundings but there where so many amazing sights around he wanted to take them all in. He brought down his hood allowing his almost albino skin be seen, his raven hair with natural gold and silver streaks seen through it. "Is there anyway I can make it up to you? I'm new to the area myself but I can navigate the streets quite well." he admitted to the other trying to find a way to appease the other.

Liam wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings and was just thinking about some possible outcomes if he had still had his family with him, like if he would still be joining the guild he is in right now or if he would even be able to meet the people he's met on his journey. But a moment after this a shorter young man had bumped into him,Liam stumbled back a bit and almost had fallen down but he held his balance."Be sure to watch where you're going.." He said to the boy in a monotone,as he rubbed his head in embarrassment. He didn't mean to say this in a rude manner, kind of like saying this in a reminder mostly. He took a look at the man who he had bumped into and it was a young boy.He had black hair and amber colored eyes, and his skin was quite pale.

"uh.. Don't worry about it,I was in a world of my own as well. But it's nice to meet you Ruvel,I'm Liam from the guild of Sabertooth." He told the black haired boy.Eventually the boy asked Liam if there was anything that he could do to make it up to him.Now of course Liam really didn't know what the boy meant since nothing like this has actually happened to Liam before."Well what do you mean by 'make it up to you'? I'm actually fine with this since many people have bumped into me numerous times and never cared to say anything." He explained to Ruvel. As Liam thought about what he had said he really could probably use some directions around the big city,so he could maybe ask that but that would probably be asking way too much already."Well i'm new around here too,So maybe you can guide me around here?" He asked the young boy, before giving a big smile.

Ruvel looked to the other and smiled contently, he noticed the other was older than what he himself appeared. He took in every small detail of the others clothing, even his blue hair that seemed to match his eye colour. He wondered if the other had water elemental or even water origins in him somewhere but as they had just met each other he believed it rude to ask and perhaps if conversation allowed he could ask then. He would of course understand if the other didn't want to talk about it and would never push, it had happened to him to often an so never wanted another to go through it. "Sabertooth?" he questioned tilting his head as he tried to remember anything he knew about them "Oh! Two of my team members are from that guild, but I'm afraid I haven't really seen them since they joined so I don't know much of the guild itself. Perhaps you would enlighten me?" he said warmly with a smile.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Liam." he said returning the pleasantries as was normal, he was all to use to them being made to be diplomat a lot by the company of late so it was now becoming second nature to the youth. "I mean exactly what I said" he rubbed the back of his head not understanding how the other couldn't understand what he meant by making it up to the other. His upbringing dictated that if you wronged another you where punished to make amends he realised outside of his home that punishment was only done when a person had done a severe wrong but the process was slow and so still offered appeasement to the one he believed he wronged. "Is there anyway I can make amends for bumping into you?" he said lowering his hand to listen to what the elder male said.

"Oh, I can do that. Where would you like to see first?" he enquired knowing a lot of nice places due to getting lost and wandering around aimlessly trying to find his way back.

Liam was delighted with the shorter boy,the boy seemed to be quite young. And he accepted Liam exceptionally quickly, which is quite rare knowing that his team members didn't even let him call them friends until their job they did together. And eventually Ruvel was talking about his team as well,he said that two people from sabertooth were in his team.Something pretty cool, mostly since Liam never really met anyone from his guild that were 'famous' around the guild."What were their names?" He asked Ruvel as he thought about where he wanted to go."Maybe we could go eat some food" He thought as he looked around the street trying to find a place that interested him.

"How about we get some food, and you can show me around here.I'll pay for your food so don't worry about it" He explained to Ruvel before flashing a quick smile. He felt pretty happy around Ruvel for the time being."While we walk ourselves to get some food why don't you tell me something about you,you seem very interesting!" He asked ruvel in curiousity. As he asked this he was thinking of what he could tell Ruvel about himself, since there really was nothing in his life very interesting."Something about me is uhm... That i don't have my parents anymore, they just disappeared from me at a young age" He blurted out. This was something he probably should've saved for later, but apparently he just wanted to say it badly."Ahhh Sorry,I didn't mean to tell you about that" He told ruvel nervously giggling.

Ruvel stood there for a moment listening to the other, he took in every detail of their surrounding he didn't want to be taken off guard, the sky from the morning had him on high alert as whenever he had seen a sky the colour of blood it was always because something bad was coming. His eyes then moved to the marking on the other's cheek, it was quite hard to miss which guild he was from that was for sure. "Do you ever find it hard to go on infiltration mission with where your guild mark is located?" he couldn't help but asking, his eyes went wide as he realised how rude he had just been towards the elder male for the second time in as many minutes at least in his mind. Placing his hands just in front of his face as if to cover it fully he leaned forward a little "My apologies, I shouldn't have been rude and asked such a question." his tone respectful, when the other spoke again he would remove his hands and stand perfectly straight once more.

"Chili Thompson and Shinokage Malakai" he said with a calm tone, he seen no issue letting the other know those in his team after all he was clearly in the same guild, it was open for the whole world to see. "I could take you back to the outpost, they apparently have very good food there. I could even cook something if you prefer." he offered the other forgetting that he hadn't even said what the outpost was for. "As I said I work for the West Fiore Trading Company, we have an outpost here." he said gently, it was uncommon for those outside the company to be invited to eat within it unless they had business but even then they where usually taken out for a business lunch. "If you wouldn't like that I know of a place others have told me about which is quite good." he wanted to make a good impression after his two fumbles in regards to the other.

"Something about myself?" he seemed somewhat confused at the request as though he was open about pretty much everything there where certain things he just couldn't speak of due to pain or guild rules. "The CEO of the company is my teacher." he finally said after a few minutes of thinking about it, he would be unsure if that was enough to satisfy curiosity due to the question being quite a broad one. Then he heard what the other said about his parents "It's okay, I don't remember mine." he said his voice showing pain at the comment, where he couldn't remember their voices or faces he remembered how they where taken from him.

Liam listened extremely well to Ruvel, since he didn't want to make any bad impressions among himself, and a couple questions came up.Including one about where his guild tattoo was located."Well you see,i've never actually been on an infiltration mission. But if i was apart of one it would be quite hard to be secretive about my identity." He told the boy. After Liam had answered the boy had quickly told him that it was probably rude asking him about the guildmark, but it was completely fine to Liam."Don't worry about it everyone makes mistakes right?" He exclaimed as he smiled. He paced back and forth as he listened to Ruvel,it was just a random thing Liam had done for the first time. But a loud rumble could be heard from Liam,in fact it was from his stomach.

"Oh my,Excuse me.I'll take any food just take me anywhere you think the food is good." He quickly told Ruvel. He was scratching the back of his head in embarrassment from the loud noise that he his tummy had made."The outpost is good,Maybe you could cook something for me so i could taste your food. But it's alright if you wouldn't want to." He replied to Ruvel."It must be nice having one of the higher rankings of your company as your teacher" He added."Lead the way Ruvel!" He said playfully with a big grin on his face as he walked behind Ruvel.

Ruvel now felt bad for bringing up the conversation in the first place, it hadn't been their intention but he thought that every guild may have to disguise themselves or go undercover at one point or another especially when it came to things like dark guilds. "I shouldn't have asked Liam, I am sorry." his voice showing he was truly apologetic on the matter. "I guess, being there would make it difficult but I am sure if needed you would find a way to hide it." he said trying to get the conversation at a better point. when he heard the other speaking about making mistakes he nodded a little, but little would the other know that even the smallest mistake could cost the boy everything he had fought to earn, these were things that others took for granted but the youth treasured "I guess you're right, I try not make mistakes at any point though." he whispered softly not really knowing if the other would pick up what he had said.

Hearing the grumble and almost felt embarrassed as if it was he who had made the noise himself "N-no, it' fine." he said his tone showing he was nervous given the situation. "Okay, please follow me and I will make you lunch." he said turning to where the outpost for the company was "When was the last time you ate if you don't mind me asking." it was by this he could estimate what kind of portion he would be making and if seconds of anything would be needed "He is the CEO, I am being groomed to be a VP." he explained he was proud that his adoptive brother was putting so much faith in him but at the same time it was a scary thought as it wasn't just his own fate that he needed to worry about but the day to day running of the company and the other side of it's coin, then there was his reading and writing issues that would eventually come to light if they hadn't already.

After around fifteen minutes they found themselves within a building of pure white marble, the floors covered with lavish red carpet, waiting areas and private rooms in use. It would look more like a manor than a company building. Leading him to the far door on the left, Liam would be brought into the mess hall that was semi busy but had food already out for people to help themselves. "You could help yourself to what is out or I could custom make your lunch." he left the decision up to the other not minding one way or the other.

The blue haired man was still following Ruvel,a question came up.It was about when was the time he ate breakfast,or last ate some food. And that was a couple hours ago so he couldn't really give an exact answer so he just guessed."I ate breakfast around 3 hours ago." He said with a firm expression laid on his face.As they continued to walk towards the outpost Ruvel started to talk about his teacher aka the CEO of the company he was working at."That's super cool Ruvel! Currently,i really haven't met many people at Sabertooth but i plan to soon." He explained with a smile on his face.

It was around 15 minutes when they reached the outpost,it was beautiful on the inside and outside."Wow... this is one of the most prettiest buildings i've ever seen Ruvel." He said as he patted Ruvel on the head randomly. But he did start to apologize afterwards since he just did it out of the blue."I'm so sorry Ruvel,I really didn't mean to do that." He blurted out before he started to move on to another topic."I think i'd like for you to custom-make me a meal,It'd be fun to taste your food" He approved. As he waited for his food to be done he looked at the various food that were laid out on some tables. All his eyes could even focus on were the deserts and pastries. But he had to show some manners especially at a place like this and decided to just go back to Ruvel and see what was happening. But on his way,all he could smell was delicious food and it was coming form where Ruvel was preparing Liam's food.He walked in and was met by a very busy Ruvel, but he was basically almost finished."Wow it smells delicious Ruvel!" He said chuckling.Ruvel was preparing a pretty large meal for Liam at least, but he knew he could finish it knowing that he was extremely hungry.
